Saregamapa Singing Superstar 21st August Videos part1

As today is the final episode and is a 3 to 4 hour long episode, I am giving a live update.. So, we all can also discuss together..  May the best one win…

Today’s show is held in Mumbai, just opposite to Gateway of India. The show begins with Bharat Humko jaan se pyaara hain.. Few dancers enact the song on stage..

Ajay Devgan enters the stage and talks about the Mumbai Carnage and says, our spirit is high and we will not let others let down our spirit.. The three finalists, Vaishali, Yashita and soumen come on stage and sing, Jo Himmat Na Haare woh zindagi saware..

Aditya comes in the picture and welcomes everyone to the grand finale.. He invites every gharana’s mentor and the contestant who reached the finals..

Soumen and Aadesh are called stage followed by Pritam and Yashita and finally Vaishali enter the stage (Himesh is missing)..

An AV of the journey of Challenge 2009 is shown.. Aditya asks the present mentors what do they think on who will win the show?

Aadesh says, All three have the calibre to win the show.. Winning or loosing is not very important and I salute the spirit of people who are present here for the finale.. He says, Jai Ho is being played all over the world and is also nominated for oscars.. So, I hope we will win..

Pritam says, I would also like to say whatAadesh said.. Winning and Loosing is not an issue.. Everyone is equally talented.. But I also wanted Yashita to win as I always say, “Dhoom hit thaa, hit hain aur hit rahega”..

Vaishali says, though my mentor is not here, I know he would be praying for me to win.. And I also have the support of the other gurus.. I hope I can take the trophy..

Aditya invites Shankar to perform.. But before that an AV of his journey is shown where he is shown singing various songs he sung during the show.. He enters the stage singing, Suno gaur se duniya waalon from Dus..

Shankar invites the desi girl Pratibha on stage.. Shankar and Pratibha sings Desi Girl from Dostana.. They both then sing RocknRoll Soniye from KANK..

Aditya thanks shankar and Pratibha for performing so well.. Shankar says, there is a mixed emotion today.. Happy to see this beautiful venue but equally sad to get reminded of what happened in this place.. He then says, Mumbai Rocks.. This challenge against terrorism will stay forever..

Aditya announces that Pratibha gets the Most Buland Awaaz Award and is presented with a Spice Mobile.. Shankar congratulates her and says, You are a winner in life and you will surely become an excellent playback singer..

International Voting Results:

3rd Position – Vaishali Made

2nd Position – Soumen Nandi

1st Position – Yashita Yashpal

Aditya invites Aadesh to perform.. Before he comes on stage, his journey in the show starting from Challenge 2005 is shown. Aadesh enters playing drums and says, he wants to sing a song out of his composition.. He sings, kar chale hum fida.. Everyone stand to give respect for the song.. After performance he says, winning and loosing in this stage is nothing but we must win against terror..

Soumen is called on stage and he sings Haule Haule from Rab ne banadi jodi.. He also sings tumko paya hain toh jaise khoya hoon from Om Shanti Om..

Aditya says, Deepika for whom Soumen sang this song will soon be here.. Soumen says, I have the confidence that I will win..

North Zone Results:

3rd Position – Soumen Nandi

2nd Position – Vaishali Made

1st Position – Yashita Yashpal

Pritam is called on stage by Aditya.. He sings Hare Rama Hare Krishna title song.. Debojit Dutta is called on stage who sings Alvida from Life in a Metro..

Aditya thanks both of them and Pritam says, this spirit of India will always stay and we will win over the terrorism..

Yashita is called on stage who sings Golmaal Returns title song.. She also sings Dance pe chance marle from Rab ne banadi jodi..

Aditya asks, how is she feeling after reaching the finals.. She says, I am feeling very good and says, I just now got to know that I am leading in 2 zones and so would like to thank all those who have voted for me..

East Zone Results:

3rd Position – Yashita Yashpal

2nd Position – Vaishali Made

1st Position – Soumen Nandi

Aditya invites Uditji and another executive to give away the Max India Life Insurance award which is a ticket to Switzerland..

And this award goes to Soumen Nandi

Uditji – I would like to congratulate Zee for promoting talent..

Aditya invites Deepika on stage.. She says, “Thank you for calling me here.. I love music and I have been in SRGMP before as well.. Shankar has sung a song for me, Pritam is doing my next movie and I have worked with Himesh as well.. Its a great privilige to be here”..

Himesh asks, How was the experience working for Chandini Chowk to China? She says, It was great working for the movie.. We have got a mixed response but thanks for all the support”..

Regarding Challenge to Terrorism she says, “I was really thrilled and its nice way of bringing confidence in us”.. Aditya asks if she is going to announce the results now? Deepika says, I would like to enjoy a little more and then announce the results..

Aditya calls Asma on stage and before that a small AV of her journey is shown.. Asma sings chunari Chunari.. She invites her guru Himesh on stage..

Himesh enters the stage singing Dil diya hain jaan bhi denge from Karma.. He says, I would like to thank Maharashtra government and Saregamapa for organizing this wonderful event.. Also I pray that all those who are watching this show may get success in whatever they do..

He sings a list of songs like – Karz title song, tandoori nights, mashallah, teri yaad sataya, Aashique Banaya aapne, zara jhoom jhoom and Jhalak Dikhlajaa..

Vaishali sings, lambi Judaai and also Yeh Ishq Haaye from Jab We Met.. Aditya says, Zee TV and Saregamapa brings a new show called Dance India Dance and we can see a premier of the show now.. Few dancers come on stage and dance to the tunes.. Then the judges along with Mitun Chakraborthy come on stage to talk about the show..

West Zone Results

1^st Position – Vaishali Made

Aditya invites VIP, the stand up Comedian and he performs..

Yashita sings aisa jadoo daala re.. Soumen sings Everything is gonna be all right.. Vaishali sings Dil kho gaya ho gaya…

Aditya invites Akshay on stage.. He talks a little about Chandini Chowk to China…

Aditya’s journey as a host is shown as a AV and he sings Tu hi toh meri dost hain.. Aneek joins him and sings Aasma hain neela kyun from Rock On.. They both sing Vande Mataram together..

The 3 finalists come on stage and sing the title song of Chandini Chow to China..

Deepika and Akshay come on stage to announce the results.. Aditya asks how have been the experience to shoot for the movie and asks them to share any memorable incidents..

Akshay says, it was great to work with Mitunda and also to work in Great Wall of China.. Deepika says, Akshay said all that I wanted to say.. It was great working for the movie..

Results:

2nd Runners Up with total number of votes – 16,00,495 – Soumen Nandi

Aditya invites Subhash Chandra, Chairman of Hero Honda and another executive..

1st Runners Up – Yashita

Winner is Vaishali with 18,96,260 votes

Vaishali and Yashita are presented with the trophy..

Yashita – I am so happy and thank everyone for getting me the 2nd position..

Vaishali gets 50 lakh contract from Zee and also a i10 car..

Vaishali says, I dont have words to say.. I got reminded of my whole journey when my name was announced as a winner.. I used to leave my child and come here for performance and today I am so happy for winning..

Himesh – Thank you audience.. Its because of your support that all these singers have reached this stage..

Shankar and Aadesh praise Saregamapa for giving a platform for these aspiring musicians..

The show ends with a national anthem…

The show begins with Yashita and Vaishali singing Mora lal dhupatta mal mal ka.. Soumen and Aditya joins them by singing Dhupatta tera nau rang da..

Aditya welcomes the audience and also the mentors.. Himesh says, the mentors will continue doing the Bethuki Shayri.. Aditya announces that today’s theme is – Old song and New Song.. One contestant will sing both old song and new song on a same subject..

Performances:

Soumen is called on stage and asked to touch the SRGMP C2009 trophy so he could feel it.. He does so and then sings meri upar ke nau jawano.. MD – RD Burman.. Singer – Kishore Kumar.. And from the current era he sings Deewangi Deewangi from Om Shanti Om.. MD – Vishal-Shekhar. Singers – Sunidhi, Udit and Shreya Ghosal..

Pritam – Could have been better.. You are a very good singer and so will give you History..

Himesh – Good energy.. But due to performance, you went off sur… History

Vaishali is called on stage.. She is also asked to touch and feel the trophy.. She says, she would take it in her hand only in the finals.. Aadesh asks her why is she always surrounded by politicians for which  she replies, she loves to get into politics..  Aadesh advices her not to get into politics and concentrate on singing.. Vaishali says her first love is music..

She sings honton mein aisi baat.. MD – SD Burman and Lata Mangeskar.. From the current era she sings, Hont rasile tere hont rasile..

Pritam – History for sure..

Himesh – Your winning is for sure.. After saying this he starts proving the point for hyping Vaishali.. He defends himself saying, It is important to let public know about the other qualities of a contestant.. Aadesh says, Her voice will speak.. There was no one to hype Himesh, the composer and he became popular because of his music.. In the same way, Vaishali will also become popular because of perfect sur.. Himesh says, being a mentor, he would do what he feels and doesn’t require any advice from anyone.. He also asks, Why do you think that public will listen to me?? Aadesh says, You have the freedom to do whatever you want, but I want that public decides the winner based on their performance.. Himesh ends up saying, I have the rights to promote and bring out the best qualities of my contestant..

Aadesh – The second song had great range, expression, attitude and the list goes on and on.. God Bless You.. History. Yashita says, she is not keeping very wel and so lost sur at many placesl.. Aadesh says it happens with everyone and that she was very good in the 2nd song..

Himesh – I never wanted you or Soumen to get eliminated.. Today I can proudly say that my decision was not wrong.. History

Pritam – You have again proved that you are a versatile singer.. Aadesh says, I was amazed at the 2nd performance of yours.. There are many who try to fake with their attitude but the attitude is in built in you..

Aditya asks who is the best among the three today.. Himesh asks Aadesh to announce the result.. Aadesh says, This is a sangam.. Each one has the best in them but but none of them were good today.. Pritam says, if you ask us, we would take the name of our own contestant or maybe the other gharana contestant.. So, we cannot decide.. Himesh again starts his argument.. He now starts pointing fingers at Pritam.. He says, if he had to take his own contestant name, then he would have never requested for both the contestant to be in the finals.. There is a heated argument after this and a voice over says, the shooting was stopped for 3 hours.. Then the show organizers discuss it and solve the issue to bring back the mentors on the show..

Aadesh is then asked by Aditya who would get the spice mobile today. Aadesh says, he would like to take the help of Pritam Puran today which says, all the 3 should get the mobile.. So, Aditya gifts the mobile to all the 3 finalists..

Aditya announces that there will be 3 shows one each in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkatta.. The 3 finalists would be performing to get the support from the audience..
