As we already know that RajaHasan is extremely busy in recording songs and doing performances. He is the only singer who has got so many songs in Bollywood even after loosing the final of Saregamapa Challenge 2007. Recently Raja and Mauli recorded a song for Bhojpuri film. Mauli specially came down to India from USA for this recording. Watch the special video showing Raja and Mauli in recording studio (and also notice the hidden talent of RajaHasan..he can play Piano too…we can request him to play the piano when he will come on saregamapa world tour!)
Raja Hasan has made a handsome start in his singing career. Even though, he lost in the final, now he is the one who has got maximum offers for playback singing. Raja Hasan has opened his account with a song from album High School Musical 2. The song - the Hindi version of High School Musical 2 is an adapted composition by SEL, with Indian instrumentation. Raja Hasan has sung the song along with Shilpa Rao, Arijit Singh and another debutant Tarannum. The song is called “Aaja Nach Le” and is an adaptation of the “All for one” song from the original English soundtrack.
The album also includes three songs created just for the Indian marketplace, each produced by leading music composer Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and remixed by DJ Suketu. The three inspired songs from Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy include ‘All for one (Aaja Nachle)’, ‘Ud Chale’ and ‘Chhoti Si’ which were sung by Raja Hasan, Shilpa Rao, Shankar Mahadevan, Vishal Dadlani, Raman Mahadevan, Neumon Pinto and others. Music videos of these songs are choreographed by the likes of Bosco-Ceasar.
Apparently, Raja Hasan has got 7 projects in his hand. Raja is recording for Vishal-Shekhar this week for a Shah Rukh Khan movie - and most probably it would be for Ravi Chopra’s Bhootnath. He is also recording for Bappi Lahiri in the movie Tere Sang
Here is the short promo of Aaja Nach Le..we will update when we get the full video

Kailash Kher’s Teri Diwani (from album Kailasa) is my one of the favourite song. In Saturday’s Episode Raja attempted this song (and at some extent he was in the same league). This reminds me Abrokanti’s performance in Saregamapa Lil Champs last year. Here are the videos of Teri Diwani, these are not meant to compare them but to enjoy the song.
In an interview Raja Hasan has apologised for his forgetting lyrics twice - one during Piya re, and the second time during singing Tare gin gin ke. He explains both situations, accepting his fault. Raja Hasan, who hails from Bikaner, has consistently been getting the best responses from his audiences even though he forgets his lines on Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa
When asked Raja about this mishap he said “The first time I forgot my lines during piya re piya re. That was because sometime before singing the song I got to know of my elder brother’s paralytic attack. Before that also, I went through lots of difficulties. My mind wasn’t in place and I just couldn’t sing such a sweet song.”
“Then last time, I was having a problem with the language and in all the confusion, I missed the line. I am feeling shameful; I want to apologize for that. I will see to it that I will never make such a mistake.”
“All these mistakes depend upon fate and what God has in store for me. A batsman like Sachin Tendulkar also gets out for 0 sometimes. I said sorry while singing because I knew that I had made a mistake. Everyone kept calling me to tell me that I should not have apologized but saying sorry immediately after an error is an old habit. If I would have not said sorry then I would have received very bad comments, which would have been worse.”
Raja said he has decided that he will now only sing songs which he is comfortable with. “I will work hard and will try to remember the lyrics and then the sur. I feel more responsible after receiving highest number of votes.”
“I tried to improve myself during today’s episode (21st, Saturday). When Salmanji praised me, I really liked it. He listened to my song very calmly and did not make any masti with me,” the singer added.
Raja Hasan…do we really need introduction for this man? The song ‘alha ke bande’ is still lingering in our mind. Raja Hasan Sagar is from Bikaner, Rajasthan but his journey from Bikaner to saregamapa was not easy.
Initially he was not selected in any Gharana and was part of Eklavya Gharana. Then Vishal – Shekhar selected him into Hit It Gharana and he got golden chance to perform. He sang ‘Alha Ke Bande’ (from movie Waisa Bhi hota hai) on Vishal Shekhar’s special episode and his mind-blowing performance made everyone speechless. He got prised from every Mentor and MahaGuru but unfortunately on that day he couldn’t make it to final and he got trapped in Chakravyuh.

In Chakravyuh round, there was tough competition between Amanat and him. Raja sang Tere Bina (from movie Guru) and Piya re (from Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan album).

He forgets few lines in the middle and he got eliminated from Saregamapa Challenge 2007. But Raja just smiled and took it sportingly. While leaving the show, Raja dedicated a song for Aditya as he was the one who liked the song which Raja sang and got into Hit IT gharana.. The song was zindagi ek pyaas from Judaai. After his performance, Ismail Darbar came on to the stage and hugged Raja. Every mentor requested public to bring back Raja.

Still there was little hope for Raja that he might have been selected in Bramhastra Round. And Vishal Shekhar didn’t disappoint Raja and selected him for Bramhastra Round. In Bramhastra round, he sang Naino ki mat suniyo re (from movie Omkara). It was such a beautiful performance that public asked him to sing once more and He sang again on request of everyone…

Now it’s in our hand to save such fantastic and God-gifted singer. For that we need to vote for him.
