The show begins with Alka, Abhijeet, contestants and hosts paying tribute to Mohd. Rafi saab as today is his death anniversary.. As they pay tribute, Sukhwinder sings tum mujhe yun bhulana paoge..

Sukhwinder shares one small incident related to Rafi sahib.. He says, he had asked one of the audo drivers to play a song and the auto driver in return played Rafi sahib song.. He also adds, there is not even a pic where Rafi saab is not smiling..

Alka says, she was once sitting with Rafi saab and he asked her if she would like to listen to some song and sang Mausam beimaan hain for her.. She adds, Rafi saab was very simple and down to earth person..

Abhijeet says, Rafi saab will remain eternal as we will listen to his songs year after year..

Abhigyan is called on stage and he sings Dil ke jharoke from Brahmachari.. MD – shankar jaikishan.. Singer – Mohd. Rafi

Sukhwinder – You sang with confidence.. It was very good performance..

Alka – This is a very well composed song and well sung by Rafi saab.. Abhigyan you sang very well..

Abhijeet too praises Abhigyan for singing the song very well..

Dhairya and Afsha are sitting amongst the audience and when asked by Afsha why they both were sitting in the public, Dhairya replies, after two weeks, public will decide who will be the one to get eliminated and next week there will be wild card entry for which auditions have been held..

Sukhwinder – The concentration and expressions in your eyes during the performance was very sweet.. You sang very well..

Alka – I told Antara, sing in such a way that Abhijit should lift you for which she replied, that her weight has decreased by half kg..

Abhijit – This song has been composed by Illayaraja and he is a great composer and this is a great song.. You sang very well Antara..

Alka – Why do you take so much tension?? You sing so well.. So, just keep your tension aside and you will sing much better..

Abhijeet asks Dhairya to lift her and Dhairya tries his best to do so.. Then he says, in another week’s time India will vote for you.. So, tell something to public..

Antara says, I would like to tell something to people of Assam.. Antara tells something in Assamese.. Sukhwinder asks her to say it to the people of India and she says, India, please give me loads of love.. If you had not given so much of love, I would have never reached here..

A small promo of wild card audition is shown where one will be selected for the final rounds..

Abhijit sings Gulabi aankhein from The train.. MD – RD Burman.. Singer – Rafi..

Sukhwinder enjoys the performance sitting on the chair so Dhairya asks Sukhwinder to come on stage and dance.. Abhijit sings and Sukhwinder dances for the song..

Sukhwinder says, wonderful and says, you deserve 100 marks.. Abhijeet also has a very good voice.. So, I guess the name in itself has some weightage..

Alka – You could have sung the Antara better.. Overall it was very good..

Abhijit – My dream is that you all give 100% in front of Sukhwinder because he has contributed so much to our industry.. Even if you give 99% I feel you have given only 50% performance..

Alka says, I wish someone comes in from wildcard because there are just three contestants left in girls side..

Shreyasi is called on stage.. Afsha says, Shreyasi is the little champ because Abhijeet da last week gave this title to her.. Dhairya disagrees for which Shreyasi says, If you listen to her song today, you and your team will say that she is the little champ

Sukhwinder – The EQ of your voice was very natural and strong.. You sang very well.. Abhijeet says, just like Alka ji for which Sukhwinder replies, her voice is like rasgolla..

Abhijeet – I hope you had chosen a song where you could have showcased your talent..

Alka says, her lungs are very strong and she can sing the whole mukhda without taking breathe.. Shreyasi sings a mukhda and then Alka asks her to dance for a song as Shreyasi is also a Kathak dancer.. Abhijeet says, Shreyasi is also a swimming champion for which Sukhwinder says, I was an athelete and 12 times gold medalist in 100 meters..

Alka comments on Shreyasi’s dance performance saying, there was a grace in Shreyasi’s dance.. Sukhwinder asks Shreyasi about Swimming for which she replies, she is a district level champion..

Sukhwinder – These songs are part of our musical culture.. It is very difficult to retain those golden moments but I can see that happening in this show.. These very contestants will be able to perform very well in the future.. Congratulations to the show as well as Swarit..

Alka asks Swarit how did he perform for which he replies, he lost the scale in many places for which she replies, if you have realized the mistake, then you wont repeat it again..

Abhijeet – You always sing well when you are asleep.. Today you were awake so you didn’t perform well..

Abhijeet – In the girls side there were three people before and now I am scared there will be two people left again.. You are from the other team, but I have huge expectation from you..

Yatharth sings badan pe sitare lapete huye from Prince.. MD – Shankar Jaikishan. Singer – Rafi..

Abhijit starts dancing with his scarf.. The audience starts shouting once more and Yatharth sings again.. The audience and judges enjoy the song..

Abhijeet – He sings well whenever he takes blessings from Afsha..

Sukhwinder – He is a very humble human being and he will become a rockstar.. Wonderful performance..

Alka – There is nothing to say here.. You are AJ, Ajooba..

Abhijeet says, we forgot to give standing ovation and so the judges give standing ovation for him.. Abhijeet introduces Raj Singh and says, he is a senior saxophone player who has come to play saxophone mainly for Rafi saab songs..

Raj – He sang the best today and he sang from heart..

Abhijeet now praises Sukhwinder and says, the contribution of Sukhwinder is equivalent to that of Music director.. I am a fan of you personally.. He asks him to sing few lines of

Dil haara re with Yatharth.. So, they both sing together..

A small AV is shown where people are expressing their views on the show and various contestants.. Most of them say Yatharth should be the winner.. Few people comment, if Yatharth leaves the show, only then the actual competition will begin.. We should keep aside Yatharth and continue with the show..

Abhijeet gets angry and says, every child is special.. Please don’t show such reaction..

Alka says, the words have not been used properly, its just their reaction and nothing else.. We can never say anything because all the kids are very talented..

Sukhwinder announces champ of the day and it is Yatharth..

Abhijeet leaves the show saying he will come back only when Alka tells what is the meaning of AJ.. Audience starts clapping for which Abhijeet gets annoyed and says he will never come back..
