SRGMP Little Champs 2009 Written Update – 1st Aug
The show begins with Afsha saying Abhijeet da left the show yesterday and it is good for all of us.. Alka cuts her and says, we cannot continue the show without her and starts calling him AJ.. She continues, lets forget about AJ as today is friendship day and she promises to reveal what is AJ in the next episode..
Abhijit Shrivastav is called by Dhairya.. He sings Lagan Lagi from Tere Naam.. MD – Himesh Reshammiya.. Singer – Sukhwinder Singh
Sukhi – His stamina is strong.. You sang genuinely.. I loved the performance.. Performing this song live is not a bit of joke..
Alka – You sang both high and low octaves very well..
Abhijeet – I am expecting 100% from you.. You were 1% short from your actual performance..
Dhairya wishes all the boys a very happy friendship day and asks Abhijit, who his best friend is.. He says, Yatharth is my best friend as he is very friendly and we are together from the time we are in the show..

Alka gifts a box to Abhijeet.. It is the same which she had with her for quite a long time now in the show.. Abhijeet opens it carefully and finds some gifts for him.. There are flowers which Alka gives to Abhijeet and Sukhwinder.. Alka ties friendship band for Abhijeet and gifts him a new spectacle.. Now Abhijeet gets a small pot and says, this has Mathura water.. He pours it on Alka but its rose petals which fall on her..
Afsha says, you all became friends but I will never be a friend of Dhairya..
Shreyasi sings Kambakth Ishq Hai Jo.. Girls shout once more and Shreyasi sings again..
I feel like giving standing ovation but I am unable to stand every time.. So, I will keep this pot on my head.. Abhijeet names Alka as Alka jharota..
Sukhwinder – You sang very well.. The Kambakt note was very graceful.. There is no fraction of gap in the song but you sang very well..
Abhijeet and Alka points out that today girls and boys are sitting together
Abhijeet tells Shreyasi, Aaj tumne Suron ke saath acchi dosti huyi hain..
When asked Shreyasi who her best friend is, she says, my best friend is my mirror because I love seeing myself in the mirror.. But as such my best friend is Priyanka.. I miss her a lot..
Abhijit is called on stage by Alka.. She says, she has heard Abhijit and Shreyasi are not on talking terms which they deny and say, no we are friends.. Yatharth is also called by Alka to clear out things for which he says, During the final audition, we were gossiping and they both started fighting.. They both were not talking for a long time and even now they are talking.. He continues saying, Shreyasi said something to Abhijit and Abhijit said, Shreyasi has some 15-16 girl friends and that is why Shreyasi got angry..
Alka asks them to shake hands.. But they are reluctant so Alka and Abhijeet go on stage to make them friends..

Judges give standing ovation and Alka calls him and puts a kaala teeka on his forehead.. Abhijeet asks one musician to give comment..
Arvind Sagole – Outstanding and chair standing..
Sukhwinder – We have the best musicians from the music industry in orchestra.. He then asks them to give the tune so that he can sing along with Yatharth..
Sukhwinder asks Abhijeet and Alka to sing Wada raha sanam.. They both say, this is a song dedicated to our friendship.. They sing Wada raha sanam honge judaa na hum..
Yatharth says, my best friend is Abhijit.. But more importantly my sister is my best friend..

Alka – You are eighth wonder of the world..
Sukhwinder – I can see the elements of a music director in him.. He has done different improvisation in the song.. We do need MDs too in the industry and I feel you will become a MD in the future.. Sukhwinder sings few lines of an unheard song and asks Swarit to give notations.. When finished he goes on stage and says, I have not seen anyone like him.. I find him a magician.. I feel he is my guru and he will teach me how to sing Sargam..
Afsha shows a AV of Swarit’s best friend and its his pet dog..

The eliminated contestant is Shalini.. The journey of Shalini in the contest is shown..
GOD….. It looks like Priyanka is not selected in wild card entry. i was looking at the pictures of kids selected in wild card entry and priyanka was not in the picture. how pathetic. how can the judges ignore the public’s viewing request. whole of india wanted Priyanka back. I can not believe it, they ignored all the responses from public, asking for Priyanka’s return. How come the judges did not pay attention of what public wants….pathetic really pathetic.
It appears that Priyanka was not selected in the wild card episode. she was a contestant in the wild card episode. I saw pictures of 4 kids who got selected in wild card episode and priyanka was not in the picture. I can not believe, when entire India wanted Priyanka’s return, but the judges and Zee TV organizers let people down by not selecting Priyanka for her come back. I know everybody is going to be real upset, because everyone was hoping for Priyanka’s come back.

Its getting bore and bore, as its not fair competition. Anybody singing any song in their comfort zone and still not singing as well. there is no way to judge them. You just have to choose from the poorest after Priyanka is left behind
I am still hoping and praying that Priyanka is coming back. If anyone has any proof, please let me know.

I 100% agree with Jigna. How can zee TV ignore entire India and many other countries audience who want Priyanka’s return to the show. I was so so so disappointed with Abhijit constantly picking on Priyanka. when Sanchari sang out of sur he was praising her. he was praising every contestant except for Priyanka. May be Abhihijit’s motive is that if priyanka comes back she will get all the votes and he wants a boy to win so he is manipulating to keep priyanka out of the competition. How idiotic.l

I am mad as hell about Abhijit for picking on Priyanka. He is a Nut. He is manipulating to keep Priyanka out of the competition because he fears that she will get all the votes as she is so popular and he wants a boy to win. He is a total idiot. He does not understand what public wants. Priyanka sang very very good. She always sings difficult songs, while others sing simple songs. Abhijit is just a manipulator not a good judge. he is not suited to be judge for this high caliber singing competition. why don’t they show him an exit out of his judge post.
I agree that Abhijit is an idiot and a joker. He acts so childishly thinking he is cool. Why Zee TV is not listening to so many opinions worldwide and give him a boot. He is after Priyanka for whatever reason. Priyanka, you are very good, if not best.
i am overwhelmed at Hemant Brijwasi’s return. Congratulations and all the best for the future. I really admire and appreciate his style of singing and would be. You have a great future ahead of you and may with all our best wishes reach new heights in singing.
