Dhairya and Afsha wish the audience a very happy independence day.. Alka and Abhijeet say, though we call ourselves independent, we are still a slave to many social injustices, poverty, female infanticides, terrorisms etc.. Our contestants will highlight each and every fact and pass a message to the people of the nation on this occasion.. Alka welcomes Army and Navy personnel who are guest of honour on this occasion of independence day..

Hemant is called on stage.. There is an AV shown on his city visit.. He is welcomed by the city people and he performs a stage show as well which is enjoyed by his fans.. Hemant says, no terrorist should come and disturb our peace and this song is passing the same message.. Hemant sings Mera rang de basanti chola from The Legend of Bhagat Singh.. MD – AR Rahman.. Singer – Sonu Nigam..

Alka – It was good performance.. In the beginning you were little off Sur and you could have done much better.. Grade – A

Abhijeet – I agree with the grades of Alka ji.. He sings few lines of the same song..

Abhijeet – If I try to find defects, then I cannot find them.. I would have to go back to your age to find those defects.. Grade – A
