Today’s episode is dedicated for monsoon and contestants sing rain songs.. The show begins with contestants singing Ghanan Ghanan.. Dhairya welcomes the audience and says, rainy season is the best season.. Afsha says, she is not in favor of rainy seasons and asks Alka to call a girl.. Dhairya says according to the rules, its boys turn for which Afsha replies, “I don’t follow any rule”.. But Dhairya insists and asks Abhijeet to call a boy..

Abhigyan is called on stage.. He sings Rimjhim gire sawan from Manzil.. Singer – Kishore Kumar. MD – AR Rahman.. Abhigyan is shown playing in rain..

Kavita – You sung so beautifully with ease.. You have a very nice voice and good potential..

Alka – I have not only got wet but totally lost into the song..

Abhijeet – You are a very talented singer and I would pray god that you are kept away from all evil spirits..

Alka points towards Abhigyan’s father and says, he has gotten emotional for which he replies, “I always get emotional when he sings”..

Dhairya asks if Afsha knows why Abhigyan sang so well.. Afsha gives some vague answer to which Dhairya replies, Abhigyan is from north east where there is Chirapunji.. Afsha asks what is that and Dhairya says, it’s a place which records maximum rainfall.. Afsha says, we also get floods every year..

There is a break after which Dhairya says, rains are lovely.. You get to see greenery around you and the rain drops are so much fun to play with.. Afsha says, It also brings in traffic jam.. Full Mumbai is caught in traffic..

Dhairya asks Abhijeet to call a boy for which Afsha replies, rains have also washed your brain.. It is now time for a girl to sing..

Antra Nandy is called by Alka.. Antra is shown playing in the rain.. She sings chhoti si kahaani si from Ijjazat.. MD – AR Rahman. Singer – Asha Bhosle.. She forgets a line for which she starts crying..

Alka – It is ok even if you forget lines.. You sang really well..

Kavita – If you had not kept a frowning face, none of them would have known you missed a line.. You sang with confidence.. You sang above expectations..

Abhijeet calls Afsha while she refuses to come.. Abhijeet asks Afsha to lift Antra and Afsha refuses.. Abhijeet says, I cant lift Antra every time as I will have problems in my shoulders.. Antra says, she is ready to lift Afsha but Afsha runs away..

Kavita – This judge Abhijeet has a very soothing voice and you also have the same kind of voice quality.. Your song touched my heart as it was very soothing to hear.. Thank you for singing so beautifully..

Alka – The first line of Antra was very good.. As Kavita said, the song was very soothing.

Abhijeet – I was totally lost in your song that I forgot to give you standing ovation.. I always had a fear of you getting eliminated but you know how to pass through all difficult roads.. He asks who Abhijeet’s guru is for which he replies, Shri. Rajkumar ji.. Abhijeet requests his guru to come on sets as many contestants need his tips.. He also adds, “Abhijeet has the quality to sing every song for which I will give 40% of the credit to his guru”.

Abhijeet – I always feel she is swimming like a mermaid who keeps pushing everyone on her way to the gold medal.. You sang very well..

Kavita – I am totally confused.. I am trying to find which is the best of Shalini, is it the soft song which you sang yesterday or the one you sang today.. You are not only swimming champion but also singing champion..

Alka – You have loads of potential.. From now on choose some song where you can show your potential..

Dhairya asks judges to share their interesting rain experience..

Kavita – I am too boring person.. I always have the fear of catching cold because of which I always ran away from rains..

Alka – This is the problem with singers as we have to be very careful with our voice.. I used to like rains but after seeing those frightful scenes of Mumbai rains, I have started disliking rainy season.. I get reminded of July 26^th

Abhijeet shares his struggling days where he didn’t have a house to stay.. He says, one rainy day he had to travel from one place to another just to save himself from rains and wherever he went, people used to ask him to leave the place.. He then added that now he is staying in the 18^th floor and he enjoys rains..

Yatharth is called on stage by Dhairya.. Yatharth takes the blessings of Afsha and she runs away.. He is shown enjoying rains.. He sings lagi aaj sawan ki phir who chadi hain from Chandini.. MD – Shiv Hari.. Singer – Suresh Wadkar

Alka – There should be a feeling that you are ending the song.. Concentrate on your ending notes..

Kavita – I liked your song but I missed the voice modulation in your song.. You are moving through the right path and you will understand this when you grow up..

Abhijeet – I am not happy with your performance..

Alka tells Abhijeet, you are an AJ.. Abhijeet starts accusing Alka yet again saying she is an AJ.. Kavita gets frustrated and asks them to stop this AJ and let her know what is AJ..

Judges give standing ovation..

Kavita – She sang like an arrow.. You sang very well and you were perfect in sur..

Alka – You sang with confidence.. You fear in front of me but you always sing very well..

Abhijeet – AJ toh bilkul gayi..

Kavita asks if AJ means Ms. Aana Jaana.. She then reveals that during recordings, Alka used to always keep moving around.. She used to come for rehearsals then go back and then come again.. So, we all decided to give her a nickname, Ms. Aana Jaana..

Alka says, she was unaware of such nicknames given to her and would definitely question all those involved behind this..

Abhijeet says, his AJ means Alka Jee..

Alka says, she wont tell what AJ means as she wants the audience to guess.. All those who guess the answer can send in the answer to response@zeenetwork.com.. The one who gives the right answer will get an opportunity to attend this show..

Abhijeet – When we brought these kids on the show it was like they were crawling and we were taking them around in a pram.. But today they have improved so much.. He tells Priyanka, I wont let you get eliminated today..

Alka – You are back with a bang.. You have so much of potential and there are many more things for you to prove..

Kavita – This is a beautiful song.. Only blessings come out of our heart.. If Laxmi and Pyaare ji were around, they would be happy listening to you. Its difficult to sing their songs and you did really well..

Abhijeet asks base guitarist, Domnic to comment on Swarit’s performance.. He says,

Swarit sang from the heart.. He had good feelings and all his modulations were very good..

Kavita praises Dominic and asks for how many years he has been playing base guitar. He says, He has been playing guitar for the past 25 years..

Abhijeet – I cant make him understand what he is.. He brought in his own innovation… Kavita asks him if he can understand the meaning of the words which he sang.. He says, NO.. Alka gives him a kiss on his cheeks and says, you sang really well..

All the judges say, God has his blessings on him..

Elimination Time

Kavita says, individually you all are great singers and I am seeing our future in you all..

I am eliminating this contestant because I feel he is not versatile..

She announces the results and Hemant is eliminated…
