The show begins with Shaan singing a group song with many kids around him.. He takes the place of an anchor and welcomes everyone on the show.. He says he is too excited and happy to be back on the show.. He then welcomes Abhijeet and Alka, only to find that Afsha and Dhairya are sitting on their place.. Shaan asks him how come Abhijeet has become a toddler and Alka turned into an infant.. Dhairya says, Alka got shrinked.. Shaan asks Dhairya how come Abhijeet transformed into a kid.. Afsha replies, This is his problem.. Whatever Alka does, Abhijeet also does the same..

Shaan gets confused and invites the monitors of boys and girls team, Dhairya and Afsha.. Only then Alka and Abhijeet enters.. Afsha says, its Golmaal here.. Dhairya asks Shaan to take place of the judge so this confusion gets sorted out..

Shaan, Abhijeet and Alka take their place while Dhairya and Afsha get on with hosting.. Shaan starts acting like Bappida and asks where has his gold vanished.. Alka says, Bappida got into you.. Shaan, Abhijeet and Alka say, We are missing Bappida.. We are getting reminded of the previous little champs..

Afsha says, today a girl will perform first… Dhairya and Afsha have a little fight on who should perform and Alka calls the first participant..

Shreyasi from Kolkatta is called by Alka.. She sings mera dil dil mera from Salaam-e-ishq.. Singers – Shaan and Nihira.. MD – Shankar Ehsaan Loy

Dhairya tells Afsha, Shaan is hosting even before you were born. He asks Shaan to share his memories.. Shaan says, Yes, Dhairya is right.. I am hosting from 2002.. Then, Shaan’s journey in Saregamapa is shown.. He then adds, It is a different kind of feeling which cannot be put into words.. Dhairya again starts asking some question, then Afsha asks, Why are you asking so many questions?? Dhairya says, He is so cute that I feel like talking for a long time..

Abhijeet asks Shaan, How is your fan?? Shaan says, Anjali is fine.. Abhijeet then asks about the fan with whom he had dinner last night.. Shaan says, she is fine.. Abhijeet then says, your biggest fan is Radhika, your wife.. This is favorite song of Radhika..

Shaan – I have become a fan of Abhigyan.. Shaan starts saying, If you all keep singing this way.. Then Abhijeet concludes, Boys will win over girls..

Alka – You sang very well..

Shaan says, Boys Vs Girls is just an eye wash.. They both are too good.. Crowd asks Shaan to sing.. Shaan sings few lines of Saawariya..

Abhijeet – Keep singing this way..

Antra from Tinsukia  sings kuch toh hua hain from Kal ho na ho.. Singers – Shaan and Alka Yagnik.. MD – Shankar ehsaan loy..

Alka goes on stage and starts singing.. She calls Shaan and they three sing together..

Abhijeet says, sab kuch alag ho gaya..

Alka – She was singing so sweetly and so thought of singing..

Shaan – She caught all the detailed harkatein.. Very nice attempt.. I thought of telling some technical points too but these kids are too good and they have not left any chance for me to point out mistakes..

Abhijeet imitates Himesh and asks Shaan to share the incident during the making of this song.. Shaan says, I got a grouch voice and thought of canceling the recording.. So, instead of informing Himesh ji over the phone, I went in personal to inform him.. But he refused to cancel and asked me to sing.. And when I started, he said, “Darling, I want this voice quality”.. Regarding Hemant Shaan says, you sang very well but don’t sing with a nasal twang. It is good only when it is needed..

Alka – We get energy when you sing.. Your low notes went below the earth..

Dhairya asks Shaan to share some funniest moment during Saregmapa.. Afsha tells Dhairya, he might not even have answered so many questions in his exam.. They take a break..

Shaan – Fantastic.. You are not even a singer but also a composer.. You have a great future.. If I had listened to you before singing this song, then I could have added many more variations.

Alka – You always sing well.. He is somewhere a composer and also an actor..

Abhijeet – There are few variations which does not suit your voice.. You should remove those variations while singing..

Dhairya asks Shaan why this is his favorite song for which he replies, I got first award for this song.. So, I like this song..

Shaan – I am really surprised that you chose this song.. This is quite unusual song which is not selected by many participants..

Alka – This is the first time she has attempted such a genre.. She usually sings folk and sufi.. (Her performance during Kailash’s visit is shown)

Shaan – You justified that genre and also justified this song.. If you keep thinking of your sur, then when will you sing?

Abhijeet – I have not listened to this song.. You created a different kind of atmosphere in the set..

Alka – Your high notes are good but you need to concentrate on low notes as well.. Concentrate on finishing notes..

Alka – When I see Swarit, I get reminded of someone of someone very cute I met during my rehersals with Manas mukherjee.. I was at his place when a small cute boy was peeping from behind the curtains.. When I asked Manasda he said it was Shantanu, his son.. When I sang the first duet with him, I asked who is the male singer and they said its Shaan.. Then I asked who is Shaan and I was told, he is Manasda’s son.. I wondered how a shy docile sweet boy is now entertaining the whole world..

Abhijeet – If someone has got the success then its Shaan’s mother.. One woman single handedly took take of two children, dreamt for them and reach them to the place where they are now..

Shaan – Abhijeet da, thank you very much for reminding me of what my mother has done for me..

Dhairya says, Swarit can give you notation for any song you sing.. So, Shaan and Alka sing their first duet song, “yeh hawayein zulfon mein teri” for which Swarit gives notations..

Shaan says, you all are champions.. Won’t increase much of suspense because today there is no tension of elimination.. He first announces top 4 and they are – Shreyasi, Yatharth, Shalini and Abhijeet.

For Shreyasi he says, the impact in performance was missing.. For Yatharth he says, you repeated the variations.. Comparing Abhijeet and Shalini he says, “Abhijeet had the force and his song was difficult compared to Shalini.. But Shalini justified the song very well.. We are here to judge the song and not difficulty.. We also have age factor to consider.. So, considering all that Champ of the day is Shalini Mukherjee..
