Saregamapa Challenge 2009 written update – 16th Jan

This show of today is held in Delhi and is dedicated exclusively for Yashita.. She will be singing the whole of tonight along with some other singers…

Aditya begins the show with the song Ji Karda Bhai Ji Karda… Asma also joins him on stage in hosting the show.. She says she has come from Mumbai to support Yashita…

Yashita comes on stage and sings Race Saason ki.. MD – Pritam.. Singers – Sunidhi and Neeraj

She then sings a punjabi song.. Hulle Hulla re Hulle.. Singer – Rajeswari Sachdev..

There is a voice over which announces the standing position till date…

1st – Vaishali

2nd – Yashita

3rd – Soumen

Himani is called on stage by Asma and Aditya.. She says, she would like to support Yashita.. She sings Namak Ishq Ka.. MD – Vishal Bharadwaj.. Singers – Rekha Bharadwaj and Rakesh Pandit..

Himani says, there is one more guy who has come to support Yashita and that is Harpreet.. He comes on stage and sings Oye Lucky Oye.. MD – Sneha Kalwankar.. Singer – Mika..Yashita and Himani also join Harpreet..

Himani then invites Tarun Sagar.. He sings Bhootni ke.. MD – Pritam.. Singer – Daler Mehendi.

There is a stand up comedian who immitates many singers… Its a good act to watch..

Big 92.5 FM RJ Jiah is called on stage and she makes a request… She asks Pritam to sing Thaa karke from Golmaal… He and Yashita sing together…

Aditya announces that there is a special person who is here to support Yashita and that is Mrs. Sushma Swaraj.. She says, she waits for Friday every week to watch SRGMP.. She is a regular watcher of the show and is also a great a great fan of Yashita.. When asked if Women are getting recognition she says, “They are getting recognition all over even without the reservation.. I am here to support women and I am sure we will reach heights..”

Asma welcomes Alka Yagnik.. She says, soon she will be judging SRGMP Lil Champs along with another person about whom we will get to know by tomorrow..

Alka sings Laga Laga re Laga prem rog..

She then sings Yeh gore gore se chore along with yashita.. Singer – Alka Yagnik.. MD – Jatin-Lalit..

Pritam is called on stage to sing along with Alka and they both sing, Tum hi ho.. MD – Pritam.. Singers – Alka and Atif Aslam.

Aditya invites all the singers of tonight to join them on stage.. Harpreet wishes Delhi a very happy Lohri and they all sing a very nice punjabi song..

Tomorrow is the special show in Kolkatta for Soumen where you can listen to Abhijeet, Sanchita, Debojit, Ujjaini, Aneek and also you can see Mitunda dance to the tunes of Soumen..

            This program was dedicated to yastita… i am still dumbfounded as to why such hype about her??…It seems as though it is fixed… What was wrong with these brilliant singer who was far better than Yashita??…. e.g Zaheer we understand loud an clear he was pakistani….               The most shameful thing is when the Judges …the so called GURU’s fight and all this fight is ignited by Himesh. He won’t let anyone talk, all he does is bring our Vaishali’s personal life in open and keeps rubbing and asking for sympathy. No one wants to lIVE life with sympathy. GOD is there to take care of her and I wish all her difficulties are gone and may her husband gets well soon. Yadesh and Pritam are great guys, they know what Himesh is upto and they talk to the point. With all this argument going on between them and with the contestants not being able to say anything …I really wish, pray and hope Soumen wins the trophy at the finale. I really like Vaishali better than Yashita ..but if Vaishali wins, Himesh’s arguement will come true and I would never want that to happen. MAY GOD HELP SOUMEN TO WIN.
              ATTN TO SARAGAMEPA DIRECTORS AND PRODUCERS …PLEASE DO NOT BRING HIMESH THE NEXT TIME AS A JUDGE.
              Next time it would be better if there is no teams or Garana’s …keep three good judges (NOT HIMESH)to judge the singers as one body.
              Plzzzz NO MORE HIMESH THE NEXT SHOW.
              MAY YADESH AND SOUMEN WIN THE SHOW.

            5. asma is repetitive- badly needs better script and guidance.
            6. delhites have backed yashita through voting which she does not deserve-a lacklustre performance which did not impress any one.
