Well, in reality he is a good guesser, because last time also he announced that Vinit deserve to be a winner but Debojit will win and that was right. And I think he is right this time also he is right Vaishali should win, because she is the best singer and have pakke sur….

I Thibk just bvecause of this uncultured disgusting HIMESH SAREGAMAPA had to lose legendary music director judges like Ismail Darbar, Bappi Lahiri and super popular Vishal Shekhar.
I am not sure what the deal, but this show very nackedly supports Crappy Himesh. Even in this epsiode they edited Pritam’s speech but broadcasted HR’s disgusting outburst(Garbage) which was quite unpleasant.
in 2007 Finale, they nacled;y had special feature on HIMESH but ignored Ismail Darbar & Vishal Shekhar. Even while broadcasting clips about contestants, they tried to show every single good t hing was told about Aneek but did not show those best comments AMANATL ALI got, Specially from legends like Jagjit Singh.
I think Indians and rest fot he world’s sudiences should start to realize, thius show is aboyt Hippocrite manipulative Himesh and his shameless nasty show off.
Even, if you go to SRGMP’s official site srgmp.guruji they will allow you to say bad thing about any judge but HIMESH…

presently himesh is passing through a very powerful phase in his life. he is under the influence of powerful planets and no one can dislodge him from high position.
he will not only continue to be a music director of repute but will become a super star in films.he is destined to reach the pinnacle of glory in 2009 and remain the top favourite for atleast a couple of years.

I think you are right. However, people are discussing Himesh because lately he is the dominating force in the show. More attention is being given to the judges, more particular Himesh, and what they are saying than the quality of the contestants’ singing.
Himesh has done it………He has stirred the well educated JUNTA to talk about the issues that are secondary.

Please throw Himesh out of this show. He does not deserve to a judge. Totally unprofessional. Always biased towards his gharaana. He has atitude problem also. I think he is making Vaishali’s position miserable.

HR got Vineet true.. but dude! Aneek and Vaishali were gifted to him by SAREGAMAPA show organizers! As, HR miserably falied to train any contestants again and again.. So the organizers show up with regional contestants to put them into HIMESH’s gharana!!!
I dont think Vaishali ever stood out until this week because there were BETTER PEOPLE IN THE COMPETITION. Think about past weeks, has Vaishali ever stolen the spotlight on the show? There were always other singers that overshadowed her. Somehow she slide through the votings every week and somehow the other singers who are better than her did not survive.
i agree with you and i think it’s happened ever since H.R told everyone about her husband… i agree she is a good singer but there were others that was better than her. i think this seasons is a pity show. if she wins i don’t think i will watch again it’s all pity. he should support her but with singing not her off stage problems.

No doubt Vashali sings very well, her voice plus her sur are fabulous, no one can even touch the graound. Soumen is good singer but in sur he misses some places, Yashita is best in attitude and modern singing she also does not have full grip on sur but Vashali realy deserves to be winner just on her performance. I dont count anything, neither Himesh sentimentals nor Adesh cold poison. As per music vashali is best and the winner of 2009. As personality Yashita is best, she is simple with right attitudes. Asma was nothing in music, Prathibha has problem with his breath, debojit has pronounciation problem, but Vashali does everything right with her EXCEPT her gharana. But you know if she is not in rock gharana she probably could have not been attented by Junta. It is Himesh who brought her in people attention.
I think Himesh is not doing anything bad as Adesh did before. I repeat my comments, this show is of music and for the music so everybody should consider music neither personalities nor Mentors.
I found Vashali best in every feilds of music so rightly deserves to be winner. And Nobody,even Adesh and Preetam said anything wrong and in against of Vashali singing.
When Jagjeet singh could not say anything against her singing so people should consider her singing only,forget about her intentions,her mentor and anyother unrelated thing.

You appear to be the only sane and balanced person here-rest all are running after crack-brained Himesh-half-clad,holding placards in one hand with slogan-”down with Himesh”-.Poor Himesh has already lost one shoe and his trouser clips have come off-he is holding his pants with one hand running at full speed in top gear with one shoe gone and the other shoe in pretty bad position.Since Aadesh was provoking Himesh repeatedly some of the fans are now planning to target him and he is hiding behind the chair of the director who has gone missing after saturday’s episode.Soon there will be a big que of advertisers outside the Zee’s office demanding their money back-the money they earned by dubious means of increasing the prices of their products purchased by the common man.I am also thinking of joining the que as I wish to be compensated for 11/2 hour torture of nonsensical farce which put me on pill.
Dear ATIKA, last in 2007. Jagjit Singh ji was so amazed by AMANAT ALi he had declared him the winner of his choice, so did Pandit ji!!

Himesh is a disgrace to music. The whole industry should ban him. I am sick and tired of his attitude and sheer disrespect of seniors. The music industry always respects seniors and his brashness with Aadesh Srivastav, who is much senior to him in the industry, is truly pathetic. Himesh has taken away the glory from Vaishali’s singing. IMHO Vaishali is truly the best singer of the show but her Guru is putting her at risk. Soumen is a close competitor but lacks the charisma and spark that Aneek had. Yashita is very good with the new hindi songs but she did not shine in the classical music session. I would strongly recommend Zee TV to not bring Himesh as a judge for any future show. He is a disgrace to music and Aaadesh was right in pointing out that instead of focussing on just how well Vaishali sings..he keeps on bantering about her being a good person and how much time she will spend on doing what…same shit over and over again…and whenever someone says something to challenge him he just starts shouting..just goes to prove his lack of civility and in my opinion he should be banned from the entire industry.
After listening to all the three contestants in Saturday’s episode I personally feel that while Vaishali is the most talented singer, Soummen is the best classical vocalist and Yashita the best pop singer.
As Himesh rightly said all are winners in their own field.
if the winner is to be decided purely on the basis of voting by the viewers then vaishali is the winner.
in my opinion the viewer’s votes should be given 25% weightage while the rest 75% power should be given to the judges and none of the present mentors/judges should be included in the panel of judges for the finals.
the finale of all musical reality shows has proved to be a damp squib and should be termed as a flop finale.
in finale all the three participants should be made to sing a pop number, classical-based composition and a old film song with semi-classical flavour and there should be live performances of atleast 9 songs.
invite parveen sultana and rashid khan for judging classical number-ravi and anandji for an old film song and vishal-shekhar and asha bhosle for a pop number.

it was the same thinking of mine from a long time about this type of arrangment for the show. if some one is Truely intrested to give the justice for winner. and every one knows that Amanat Ali was target of the this shit managment of show. if there was the same structure of the show as u mentioned above Amanat Ali was the winner.But politics and money problem always there.

i think what everyone is saying is right. i am from new york queens and i love saregamapa this seasons it’s just a mess. i hated jan 10th 2009 show. it’s all drama and i agree with most of the viewers reply himesh’s need to stop saying who he think should win out of all the the judges i think he’s a hippocrate he needs to stop telling the world about vishali’s problem and talk about singing. ever since he told the world about that i think people are voting for her out of pity and that’s not fair. it should be fair and they should think about others too as well…

We all know Himesh will not give Vaishali a break in his movies or albums. All his apparent support for Vaishali is just for public consumption.
Debojit should have won. He was great in spite of his autism or maybe becuase of it. He was one of the ‘Tare Zameen Pay’. Asma was a better human being than Himesh though both of them are nasal artists.
Soumen showed his vocal prowess in classical songs. Vaishali was so-so. Yashita was a pleasant surprise.
I think Yashita will get the most votes. She is a hit with dive-bar pole-dancing crowd.

Yashita pleasant surprise for pole dancers. For those who know about indian music, it was a poor show. She sings Sunidhi’s songs well. But Sunidhi is trained. Sunidhi can also sing classical songs very well. Yashita needs to work hard otherwise she will fade away.

Jagjit Sing is a good judge. He wasn’t there to please everyone. He told about good and bad points in a contestant. He pointed out exactly what they should work on. This will help them improve. I think that is right kind of judging. Not what the other judges are doing. They are just supporting their contestants like religion ,where no logic is allowed, just support blindly.

This year they got rid of most tallented DEBOJIT DUTTA and PRATIBHA so Himesh’s medicre Vaishali do not have to face tough comepetition. C’mmon guys.. what makes the difference. Vaishali facing God gifted tallents like DEBOJIT, PRATIBHA or non singer like ASMA.. she will win as long as they are in ROCK GHARANA…
I truely miss GAJENDER SINGH, that dignified honest producer of SAREAMAPA we used to love and adore!!
about the show -SAREGAMAPA-and the contributors
aditya narayan the host of the show is more fluent and articulate than his contemporaries on other channels.this young man either probably in his late teens or early twenties is a real gem-always smiling and mischievous and alert.
the live orchestra in last two episodes consisted of just four musicians who performed vibrantly like a 50-piece orchestra.the two musicians on key-board were masters in their art and were simply brilliant.the ustad on tabla was excellent and greatly contributed to rhythm and taal in every vocal performance.
the sound recordist however could have done a better job.some adjustments in equalisers could have worked wonders with the vocal/tonal quality of soummen and vaishali. the director and the script writer could have included more performances instead of being generous in allowing more time for loose and meaningless discussions among judges.
the three episodes at delhi calcutta and mumbai before the finals on 24th jan will have mostly pre-recorded songs and may not create any real impact.
Himesh should be banned from the show.Many a times he takes over from Aditya,sorry to say no body has the guts to go against him.because of him the show should not lose its popularity.Aadesh was absolutely right.

i hate himesh ! he has such a attitude and i think he doesn’t deserve to be a judge. all he loves is to brag about his garanas people and i hate him the most. last year, Anik won, i hated that. i dont want vaisali to win because because of himesh’s attitude.
I agree with you that this year’s SaregamaPA,is most boring,the last year’s program was the best ever.I am grateful to ZTV,FOR SHOWING US IN USA,THE BEST OF SAREGAMA,this weekend.I loved watching Amanat,after a long time.Last year’s singers were unusual,in looks,voice mannerisms,diction and performance,even the singers from other countries were a lot better.2007 SAREGAMAPA will remain the BEST.Parveen,Houston.

Himesh is good composer. He should stick to that. He has given some fabulous music in the past unlike Pritam who can get famous only by lifting tunes. Himesh is creative. I can forgive him for his behavior considering he composed songs like main jaha rahu.
I also think Himesh is a good composer but a very bad singer and a disgusting actor. He is shame to the title “JUDGE”.
I like “Main jaha rahoon” but that does not sooth his uncouth nasty attitude in this show.
He is a bad judge. Agreed. But so are Aadesh and Pritam. Aadesh is subtle and Pritam stammers so he does not speak much. I think they should have judges like they used to in old sa re ga ma who would give importance to music. But in todays times I think it does not sell. Look at II4. Hardly anyone sings in sur but it is popular with younger generation.

After reading this I feel…now there is no meaning on who wins the title as it is already decided. It is very unfortunate that all final three contestants Vaishali, Yahsita and Soumen are just a pawns….The bitter truth is the contestant who represents Himesh gharana in the finals will win the trophy…. So in the next year Saregamapa show, there will be fight amongst the contest on who want to be in Himesh Gharana…..as that’s the key for sure shot win.
All three contestants are very good one…..no dought Vaishali is a very good singer….but the fact is she picked in last two episode…Vaishali is cool as she knows for sure that she is the winner….And she said also that she is just waiting for that precious moment to have that trophy with her and Himesh…how confidant is she……. where Yashita has constantly performed and sang very well through out the show…hats off to her……..Yashita is a versatile singer. Yashita deserve’s this trophy as she is there in the show from the begining and did not come in half way through like Vaishali and Soumen…… Soumen is a very talented singer and very sincere guy.
All this Himesh drama is affecting yashita and Soumen… it’s affecting them psychologically …When Himesh starts yelling again and again that “vaishali is the winner”….one should watch yashita and Soumen…how nervous they are…..they both are too young to digest this politics.

ZEE TV should ask SAREGAMAPA to get rid of this disguisting HIMESH RESHMMIYA.. Otherwise no dignified music director should come to judge this show in future!!!
Who is mediocre and who is not, time will tell. Wait and watch. Pritam has already given a chance to Debojit and Pratibha is also singing for Himesh. I don’t think Vaishali is mediocre, otherwise Shankar won’t say you are a singer who keeps standards of sa re ga ma pa high. I do have respect for Shankar.
For all those people harping on Zee manipulating results to make Aneek the winner over Amanat, Amanat was not even 2nd – he was 3rd last season. So I guess by your logic you are implying that Zee tried to appease both, Himesh AND Vishal-Shekhar and made Aneek and Raja 1st and 2nd, demoting Amanat to 3rd? That sounds like way too much manipulation even for Zee. Also, look at the voting stats released. For international voting the ranking was:
1. Amanat
2. Aneek
3. Raja
For Indian voting the ranking was:
1. Raja
2. Aneek
3. Amanat
This seems like a pretty reasonable result to me and I am prepared to accept the results at face value. I would suggest that if you are so concerned about Zee fudging them, file an official request, initiate a PIL – whatever. Zee has an obligation to give you the exact numbers with some semblance of a proof.
Anyway, it is quite disappointing to see people dredging up last season’s results time and again – move on! I don’t like Himesh and his antics and I particularly don’t like the brand of politics he is playing with Vaishali as a pawn, but the show has enough drama as it is without crying hoarse over the results of the past season without any evidence whatsoever.
why not discuss only the behaviour and competence of judges here in this blog rather than critically examine the quality of performance of singers .
the bloggers here appear to be confirmed perverts as they are getting more enjoyment from hammering a human being rather than comment on inherent talent of the contestants.
