Saregamapa Challenge 2009 written update – 13th December
The show begins with an AV on the Mumbai Carnage.. A voice over says, we pray for all those who lost their lives in the terror attacks.. Aditya announces that today we will pay tribute to all the Martyrs and invites Baba Ramdev to join them in paying the tribute.. All the Martyrs photos are kept on stage and candles lighted in front of them.. A two minute silence is observed and as they pray, humko mann ki shakti dena song is played..
Aditya says, after Mumbai terror attacks, there is a fear that has gotten into everyone and asks How to come out of the fear?? Swamiji replies, “It is true that there is a fear that has gotten inside us.. First of all, our country needs someone like Sardar Patel and Subhashji and we give the answer for these bullets via our bullets.. Its important that our country abolish all these terror camps from the country which is attacking us.. For peace we need to do pranayam and do Omkar jap..

I have been a regular viewer of the Zee Netwrok right from the outset and ever prior to its existence in the UK when the channel was known as TV Asia.
I have never been so appauled and upset to watch a programme such as saregamapa challenge 2009 which was broadcasted today on saturday 13th december 2008.
Within this episode as you are aware the participant zaheer was released from the contest for one reason and one reason only which was that he is pakistani.
As a chanel broadcaster and producer the zee network should be more responsible that to take such a decision. This contest is of music and talent. This is a method that should unite people not seperate them.
It is a sad day today to see such uncivilised and unprofessional being performed by those who have a method to educate and change the wrongful perceptions of the ordinary public!
You dont judge a race and innocent people by the actions of one or two individuals.
Its a shame that some people of a part of the world just overcome the divide of race a few days back…the win of Obama means that the people of the world has at last stepped into a truly united nation…and at this moment the Indians proved that they are still far behind of being a real human being.
I will ask and request the Pakistanis never participate any kind of talent hunt show of India because they invite you just to earn some money from you Pakistanis…its their media business, nothing else, and for the same reason, to keep the audience of middle east they are not letting Asma go till now….Please, do not lose your dignity. First of all i still live 9 months in pakistan and the rest is work in diffrent european contries, so i know whats going on at home. My wife makes sure that i know about everything hapening in pakistan with all her gossip:)
I know what you are saying about Osama and 9/11 and i understand what you are hinting i am very well aware of that. But you are getting me wrong if you think i am trying to tell you what the west wants us to say. It will take some time but if you start thinking about what i said about us cleaning our own home i can promisse you we will be much more well of than we ever have been. The problem was never any country we have been our biggest problem since pakistan saw the light for the first time. If we can stay calm and find good solutions, clean the corrupt system and the traitors among us we both know we dont need to proove anything to anyone anymore. Our country is suffring an big image problem the day this one problem gets solved and the yougsters take over the politics our land will change for much much better. You see its not about tv serials or whatever its all fillid into our minds by our elders who hated each other so badly that they even forgot deep down somewhere we all are the same. Zee TV finally honors the fallen heroes of 26/11. Americans like me, who are also pround of our Indian lineage, have been waiting for Zee TV for this episode.
Islam is a religion of peace. The terrorists are not muslims. Muslim does not mean Pakistani. Not all Pakistanis support terrorism. Those Pakistanis who are terrorists, and there are many, are not muslims and they should be handed over to India.
Allah and Eeshwar are the same god. So is Jesus. America was founded on the principles of justice, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We are wary of Pakistanis because they pan-handle for money but use it to buy arms. Before the world indicts Pakistan as a terrorist state, Pakistan should act in its own interest, capture the terrorists and hand them over to India. Yes, there are serious problems. But the problem is not between hindus and muslims. Islam is a religion of peace, hence by definition, these ‘elements’ in Pakistan are not muslims; they are terrorists who have no other identity.
Some people posting here are deliberately trying to confuse the issue by defining it as a hindu-v-muslim or India-v-Pakistan issue. The terrorists are having a laugh at our cost.
Anger on the Indian side is justifiable but it should be directed at the terrorist elements in Pakistan, not at Pakistani people. Pakistani people should not even try to defend the terrorists because terrorists are not muslim. Got it?

just to add onto the other few who have expressed disappointment to comments that are being made regarding race creed etc.
Let me say, I am a sikh from India. And I do NOT for one second feel that justice was done with a competitive singer like Zaheer.
Now you may think whyam I sticking up for zaheer?
And the honest answer is, that I would becuase I’m punjabi and so is Zaheer.
I enjoy listening to punjabi songs and Zaheer was a versatile punjabi singer thorughout!
Now wot am I supposed to do? say I don’t like zaheer anymore because he is muslim???
But he’s also punjabi! and I like anyone who is punjabi and can sing punjabi songs!
ask yashita or debojit to sing me a punjabi song and I’ll change my opinion!

Oh Veer Jee! SSA —- kee gallaN payE karde ho … Zaheer was probably the best among the present group … BUT he got voted out because he was not participating any more actually for the last two weeks. This pakistani authorities did not let him participate by not letting him get there! Is that really so difficult to understand? Zaheer was not only a Punjabi, a Pakistani, a muslim but also a great human being — there is no doubt about that! The guy is a fantastic singer and a very very humpble human being above all the other worldly criteria. It is not the fault of the voters or of the ZEE TV —- Aditya Narain brought up immediately and spontaneously the issue of giving him a wild card — do you think he would have done that, if he thought of Zaheer as a Muslim? No, he did that because he recognised the singing quality of Zaheer. So please, for God’s sakae, stop bullshitting. Blame the Pakistani government for not letting a super-singer participate i the competetion!

Guys please make sure you get this site banned from the hosting company its hosted on. the moderator is gladly letting people write trash on the site and creating hate. The only comment he stopped is the comment where one of the person asked people to complaint against the site. If you know the process of how to ban a website from the host please do because the paki running site is just spreading hate.

Zaheer was one of the best, he came to sing not to fight politics. First of all you need to check your sources it has been confirmed by many interntional tv channels including PTV in pakistan that Zaheer was asked to come back to pakistan along with all the pakistanis in indiajust a day after the attacks in india. Pakistani ambassador USA made this statement in front of international media. Why is it so hard for people to understand. no matter if you are indian or pakistani or from the moon. When pakistani ambassador is saying this how come you guys do not get it. I am on of the biggest fan of Zaheer Abbas but it has nothing to do with raceizm its all about the political tenssion between india and pakistan.
