Pratibha sang and danced and regaled the viewers and audiences. she was the only notable performer in the show. pratibha rendered popular number kajra re —better than alisha chinoy the original singer.
All the mentors/judges of the show are good singers/playback singers themselves and it was quite evident in this episode.Keep it up zee.
today’s episode may throw up some surprises after a drab friday’s episode.

Caution to all bloggers: There are some pretenders (devkishin, shashi supporter, padma, etc come to mind) who are spreading pseudo-knowledge and half-truths about Indian music, asma and zaheer – beware, they are paid informants of Zee TV (their payscale is Rs. 12 per day). Being the ‘educated person’ whom Manas envies (I am a 2008 NYC private high-school graduate, currently unemployed), I can see through the Devkishin’s propaganda but some of you may be duped, hence this cautionary note.
It seems like Soumen, Debojit or Vaishali may win. Pratibha and Yashita may go. The formula is that if a contestant’s first name ends with an “a”, they will become history (i.e. they will be consigned to history’s dustbin).
People, check out Indian Idol 4 and Star Voice of India this weekend. American Idol starts in January – we need a Sanjay Malakar this year, too.

I also can see through your propaganda Mr. NYCOOLZ! and so does everyone!! Just like the way you renamed Devkishan’s “Vyas” to “bias” your name should be renamed to “NYFOOLZ”.
Don’t worry Debojit or Soumen will win the race.
But there is a problem here:
Both Debojit and Soumen are from Kolkata so their votes will be divided. Same will apply to Yashita and Vaishali (Maharashtra). So the outcome is clear! Pratibha should surely go to top 2 with unanimous votes from whole of UP, MP,HP and all Pradesh of P possible…as our Pratibha is also P which stands for “PRATHAM”.

Vaishali was very good, as usual. She is going to do well as a playback singer, no doubt. But I think Pratibha will be the eventual winner. Very talented!
I predict that Debojit Dutta will be out because Soumen seems to be getting stronger by the week. He & Debojit compete for votes from Bengali & Northeastern people.

Do you mean to say that Soumen and Debojit are so bad that they don’t get any votes from other places of India and abroad?
Both are good, but Desis are very chauvinistic. It is inevitable that their traditional support base in NE will be divided unequally.
Debojit may be out because the vote from eastern region will be divided. Since Soumen was top last week chances are low that he will go..Same will happen between Yashita and Vaishali from west. Looks like Vaishali or Debojit is out next week.Regionaism plays an important role my dear you like it or not.
They will all get votes from abroad so that will not be a major predictor of the final outcome.

I remember sayon singing the song debojit sang, ‘o mere jaan’ , at the beginning and it was so much better. He then sang something out of his range and out he was. Look at wat the show has come to now.
