The show begins with Aditya and top 10 contestants singing boll baby bol, rocknroll.. Aditya welcomes the audience and says there will be one contestant who will get eliminated from the top 10.. Every gharana mentor introduce their taglines.. There is a AV shown where every contestant talk about today’s elimination..
Aditya announces that this week the topper is from Dhoom gharana and that is Yashita. Zaheer comes on stage to handover the sangeet chakra to Yashita.. Aditya asks if Mumbai can accept Pakistan challenge? Yashita says, Mumbai watt lagadega and Zaheer replies Lahore aag lagata hain.. She sings tumse mili nazar toh asar.. MD – Amar Mohile.. Singers – Ritika and Sonu Nigam.

Himesh says, I am happy that Zee family has given me lot of support and prayers for the movie to be successful.. Soon we will be having a concert and it will be a good platform for all these contestants.
Zaheer is called on stage.. Aditya says, India has challenged that they will win the vishwayudh. What he has to say about this.. He says, Just now competition is going on, lets see what happens.. He sings oh haseena zulfon waali jaane jahaan.. Yashita comes on stage to sing the female part..

This is his first average performance and has 99% success ratio.. So, do save him. Himesh announces that Zaheer is in between the lines..

The bottom 3 contestants are called on stage.. Aditya says, there is an issue which needs to be sorted out and an AV is shown where all the contestants are criticizing Asma for being in top 10..
Debojit says, She sings worst than laughter challenge participant..
Sara – There is problem with top 10..
Soumen – She doesn’t deserve to be in top 10.
Vaishali – She is taking the footage with her drama..
Yashita – If it was anyone else, I wouldn’t have bothered but Asma doesnt deserve to be here..
Shujat says, In muslim culture, divorce is a very bad thing.. Leave singing, if you love your mother..
Pritam – Its very bad.. You cant hurt someone like this..
Aadesh asks How will you feel if somone says something like this to you. Pritam asks the contestants to get back her on stage.. Himesh – Say that you will win the competition.. It is their point of view and audience are giving their support.. You just need to fight and win..
Asma’s uncle is called on stage. He says, Please dont discourage her..
Shankar – There are two facts – In among the 10 contestants, audience loves you the most and you are also the weakest performer.. These are the facts, but we all love you.. So, dont worry about it..
Aditya keeps his hand on Shujat’s shoulder.. so, shujat gets eliminated..
Shujat says, I am not feeling bad for leaving the contest. I would like to apologize to Asma and give her hug.. Also want to add that, There is no war between India and Pakistan.. Request Zee not to make this competition a war between the two countries.. Just like Pakistan, India is also my country..
Even that sujat is out of the contest, but I am 100% agree with him. This contest should remains contest, not the war between the indian and pakistani participents. It will dirrectly effect the Pakistani participents to get votes from Indian public.

Clearly it’s not true that Pakistani contestants are *always* better than Indians.
Yeh I did vote for Yashita and Debojit. Bcoz they are very good singer. you said that Indian audiance vote fairly ? No. end of the day they are Indians. I don’t want to argue with you on Shujat(as he couldn’t perform as good as he should for last several weeks. But if you remember about last year’s contest. When on internation voting Amanat Ali was 1st, Raja Hassan was 2nd and Aneek Dar was 3rd in the finals. When result was announced after including the indian’s voting. What happened……… Aneek Dar 1st, Raja 2nd and Amanat 3rd. Why ? Amanat was announced 3rd despite that all international audiance voted for Amanat as the best. But he kept 3rd. Does it means indians voted fairly. I accept that some people from india vote for Pakistanis but most of them not. so donot think that you people are always fair and perfect. bcs no one is perfect in this world.

I too was a big fan of Amanat from Saragamapa 2007.But you see, you only remember that he lost to Aneek and Raja in the finals, what you do not remember is that it was the indian votes that took him all the way to the finals (beating a good indian contestant, Poonam). So please don’t complain of unfair voting.
And above all, Saregamapa is a reality show, why care so much about winning or losing ?…As you said previously “this is not a war between Indian and Pakistani participants”.So relax and enjoy some good music. Let’s hope that the talented singers from this show use this platform and make it big in the music industry.
If the indian people vote fairly then last years sa re gama pa winner should be ammanat and u also know about that.Pakistani singers r gr8 they r singing in india and still serviving (apna gher ma to kuta(dog) bhi shair(loin) hota ha) our kisi ka gher ma ja ka pcharna ata ha pakistani singers ko.
You fool !! Be thankful that the Paksitani singers are being given a platform in India. What has Pakistan done for Indians other than harboring ill feelings and suppress the minorities.
THIS SHOW IS WORTH WATCHING FOR WHEN WORTHY SINGERS PERFORM, ASMA IS A PURE MASALA IN THIS SHOW, SHUJAAT’S ELIMINATION IS PATHETIC IN A SENSE THAT HE IS NOT ONLY A GOOD SINGER BUT ALSO TRAINED IN CLASSICAL, HE TOOK IT FORGRANTED ANY HOW AND DID NOT PERFORM TO HIS POTENTIAL BUT STILL HE SANG VERY WELL TO BE THERE AT LEAST COUPLE OF MORE WEEKS AND GIVE HIS BEST SHOT. ITS BECOMING MORE OF A DRAMA THAN SINGING COMPETETION. IF U ASK ANNU MALIK OF INDIAN IDOL TO JUDGE ASMA HE WON’T SAY A WORD AND SIMPLY SHOW HER THE DOOR. SHE IS NOT FROM A POOR FAMILY TO COMPETE HERE AND GET BREAD AND BUTTER THROUGH THIS SHOW AND STILL OCCUPIES SOMEONE WORTHY SINGER’S PLACE. FOR ZEE ALSO THIS IS NOT A BIG DEAL TO KEEP HER THERE AND FASCINATE OMAN AUDIENCE BUT AT THE EXPENSE OF WHAT? SOMEONE WHO CAN EARN HIS OR HER RIGHTFUL PLACE IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY. ULTIMATELY ONLY 1 SINGER HAS TO WIN BUT THIS IS A POOR WAY OF CONDUCTING A SHOW AND CREATE DRAMAS AND ALL SORTS OF NONESENSE. THANKX.

this show sucks but we still wait to watch just in hope that there will be some kinda good thing in it but still nothing in it. As zee is famous from start to create dramas by taking pakistan and india political issues as granted but the channel should atleast refrain creating scenes and dramas in musical reality shows. They should know that the world is not blind and if you’ll start doing tricks in the shows then your not giving entertainment, its just to provide loads of mess. Hope in future Zee should avoid doing all the injustice in future. It was really bad to see shujat got eliminated but there s no offence, it happens in the shows and we should ready to face the challenges.
I also think that Debojit is given unfair attention, which is making him win. I mean seriously, he cannot pronounce things right. Imagine Tarun having a diction problem! the judges would have kicked him out. Tarun has a beautiful sufi quality voice. I believe all the judges are against him and they put him in a bad light. I meant the show where they showed him and Kaushik’s fight… the judges pounced on Tarun. Never did they once say to Kaushik, that who is he to say that Tarun is a “bhajan” singing performer. When Kaushik was asked, he gave some lame excuse like, “I don’t remember saying that”. Shameful! So did Tarun pull that out of his ass and put allegations on Kaushik out of nowwhere? People who say things like “I don’t remember” have something to hide but are not men enough to admit they said it and made a mistake. Atleast Tarun was honest and said what came in his mind. And the judges pounced on him. The only one who was honest and right was Kapil Dev (the cricket player) who said “No worries”, people have different personalities and exhibit their anger. GO KAPIL! I know if someone said that about me, ie, being a bhajan singer, I would get mad and say a LOT back. GO TARUN for putting him in his place, as you said, the deeds you do in life, will be collected. Tarun believed in what he did.
Indian are so proud . They should lose. I pray for all pakistani singers.
i see this show last 4 years. its all about interesting. i thank to indians to appreciate pakistani’s singers. try to take this show be positive. please don’t ask and discuss about their personal matters. after all, we are all human beings. i salute to voters to encourge the singers. now singers have responsibility to show positive attitude, they are all best because people choose them otherwise they are nothing. they all know many people sing better rather them but they lucky they got chance and got top 10 positions. i pray to all of them that they suceed in their life.

I cannot believe how personal people get in this show and it is obvious the producers prod the contestants for insults and comments etc. Yes drama and controversy make for a good tv show but it comes across as tacky as in Asma’s case. Sure she does not have the strongest voice but criticism should be left to the professionals. Her peers just came across as nasty people even if they are talented.

Everyone’s comment means nothing to these realty shows. It is just a bunch of crap. Everyone knows that Pakistanis singers do possess a talen to them given by god himself. Saregamapa is a show hosted to promote talented singers, why count on votes. I am a strong muslim and I really think that Asma should not be in the show but rather singers like the smiling girl (i forgot her name)and also Kaushik. My opinion Zaheer and Yashita are the best. Sara is getting there. This whole system is prejudicial. Why not get a pakistani judge for a change?, someone like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
I cant believe Asma is still on the show. Do the people of India and Pakistan vote on talent or looks? She should have been the first to be eliminated. more talanted singers have gone yet her nasal mono-toned voice remains. What is wrong with you voters?
Debojit is a moron. He may sing well but his diction sucks. He has no right to demean and make nasty comments about Asma, when he is deficient himself and is being shamelessly promoted by Pritam. The fatso himself tries to get footage by doing the silly” ARZ KIYA HAI” which I find least amusing. He is worse that the Laughter Challenge Bottom 3. At least Asma is a good looking cute girl and he is a fat slob. Debo – people who live in glass houses do not hurl stones on others.
