i am not interested in “azad shairi”.. why not write a good “afsana” instead of it?.. besides.. jo lutf ghazal ki bandishon main hai woh azad shairi main kahaan?.. but i have written a few nazmain and geet.. a qita for you:

secondly, I am RETARDED, but I have to say this, in the misra-e-sani,”aur kuch” is notgoing with the flow. “AUR” is an izafat, however if you were to use “magar iss”, it just sets everything in MOTION, including the meaning. Just my single cent ! sorry, I shouldnt have offered my 0.1 cents, I’m just a faailatan, faailatan, faailatan, faailaat guy.

I am wondering why is your extra strong emphasis on R D Burman when most of the Indian music directors are in the league.

It is a well-known fact that many Hindi movies are “inspired” by Hollywood and European movies. No one makes a secret of it.
Of the thousands of songs created by R D Burman, and all the others listed, some are, of course, inspired by western classics. No problem with that. It does not make anyone a thief or criminal.
Bappi Lahiri successfully sued and won against a Los Angeles rapper who lifted Bappida’s tunes!
No western musician has ever sued an Indian composer.
The same site Itwofs.com says Ismail Durbar lifted “Chand Chhupaa”. Ismail can hardly be compared with the top-of-the-line Indian music directors; he is second-class and certainly has no claim to being 100% original.
We are proud that the Indian public gets to enjoy some great western classics in Hindi, thanks to the great music directors.
In Indian movies, we now hear Jazz, Heavy Metal, Rap, Gangsta Rap, Reggae, Hip Hop, and other western styles – that does not make us criminals or thieves. It only makes us appreciative of good music no matter where it comes from, whether Pakistan or Philadelphia. We are music lovers.
If you weren’t so myopic and narrow-minded, you would have clearly seen that Rockanya Asma is changing everyone’s perception of what execptionally beautiful music is supposed to sound like. India is in love with the Oman princess.

R D Burman is considered the father of modern Bollywood music. His dad S D Burman was truly an original who brought the influence of Bengali music to Bollywood for which we are grateful.

i saw naina saxena in indian idol last week.everybody see her.i think its direct effected on her voting.why she go in indian idol.
Naina saxena probably went for both auditions and got selected for both the shows. Indian idol that we watched for the past few weeks was shot sometime in June-July time frame. If my guess is correct, she won’t be seen in coming weeks in indian idol.
I read in India forum that she is eliminated this week.
SRGMP has really bombarded this year.
That’s why they are 41st in TRP rating!

Something about singing an entire song in falsetto voice bothers me…
Sunidhi does it very well. But it makes the song a wee bit unnatural IMHO.
Limitations (I will surely get beaten up for this !!), as in songs like “mere haath mein tera haath ho” from Fanaa, the song is very melodious, but I would give it 8/10 only coz of the unnatural flavor she adds to this song.
There is an unknown weird Sunidhi song (a duet) that goes “tujhe chand chahiye to chand doonga” from I donno what movie.. can’t even find it on youtube.. she sings her entire part of the song in falsetto voice that makes her high notes unbearable.

Asma makes the whole show comes to live. She is incredibly oooosum (awesome). You guys should keep her till the end so that the show is entertained. Zee should introduce this new award on the last part to entitle her as ” BEST ENTERTAINER” Her accent is so cute, hilariously funny never seen anything like this in Saregamapa. Keep it up Asma you are unique. You rock the show really.
