Hi, i know it’s bad but if you see the positive way of judgment and try to put ur self in their position they are looking for Verstaile singer she is very good with some pitches and some tones see her other performances as Asha Jee said words should be clearly come out from your mouth that kind of singing is real singing not like making faces when singing.
OMG!!! I can’t believe Mitika is out and ASMA is still IN!! ARRRGH! Please people, make sure your head is still screwed onto your shoulders before voting. Sorry if I’ve offended anyone who likes Asma, but that’s how I feel.

This has to be insane! Mitika is the second best female singer after Pratibha. She has more range and style than any of them. Sara or Asma with their horrid nasal voices should have been out. I am horrified by the voters…….Asma should never have been there in the first place!
Ypu are right dear. girls like aasma and sara bring abad example to the young gneraation in what girls can do. They are always cfeating dramaa nd taking away attention from SINGING which is main thing

Wow, I think I have seen some very good singing today, excluding faraz, although Naina saksena did pick a bad song based on the quality of her voice, she did deliver ! hers was the most amazing singing based purely on her control of the sur and taal, atleast on one occasion she carried the “flat in kharaj” with an amazing throw , while not letting the taal beat her. please watch this video from 2.50 to 3.02.

I;m totally for Naina Saxena, as far as todays performance is concerned she stands in the top 3. I’m impressed !
Thats not to say that others did not do well, pratibha, debu also had a great day.

In other news - an orphanage in India and another in Pakistan, which care for 1000s of children - received large amounts of money in gift. Asma has pledged to give away all her winnings to charities. But she has to win first.
People, vote for Asma. She may sound a little nasal but she has a heart of gold. Debo and Soumen will keep their money. Sarah may give a small % away. Asma’s mission in life is to help educate unfortunate, impoverished children all over the world. God bless her heart.
And aasma is one of the worst represneativs of the female species. she should be out to preventg young girls from being corrupted.
Young girls need to be imnspired by likes of pratibha and Naina and Mitika and Manisha, not nautankis like Aasma and sara
I really don’t know what to say. Out of my top three choices( choice I made after third episode) two of them Sayon and Mitika are out! Only Prativa is left!
I don’t think it will be wise for me to comment about music. I should go back to the basics for a few years and then think about commenting.

Wisdom of the crowds have kept Asma in and voted Vaisali in bottom three.

Sometime back Senty made a statement saying that half of india does not speak hindi(urdu) and would much rather listen to music ( singing) in their respective languages and according to their TASTE. to expect that bengalis would vote for punjabi or tamils to vote for telgu would be unfair. simply because they dont even understand what is going on ?
I do beleive that within india we have 39 official languages and umpteen dialects, and most of them are not interested in hindi or bollywood music,let alone a show for talent hunt. Having said that, the regional winners , like shoumen and viashali’s entry bolsters the strength of the show but there are not enough votes to go around for their regional candidate, except for those who understand the bollywood music ( say those who follow that ).
I think this Vote thingy is a farce. because even a laymen like me can understand that there are a few contestants in the show who do not deserve to be there, where as some very good singers have been lost in oblivion because of this voting. Also there is one more lingering question, who gets to SUPERVISE the overall voting process ? how could we be sure that the vote return is fair and impartial ? but corporate greed is not even willing to share its EASY MONEY by appointing an independent commission. yes I said commission because there are so many competitions where people use their money to vote, the least they can expect is a FAIR and impartial judgment. it may sound like a rupee only but with one rupee lost, janta wants atleast a sense of HONESTY !

Punjab has proved its the most MALE CHAUVINIST stae in the entire world. It only votes formale contestmats, be they besura like Ishmeet in VOI, Rohanpreet in little champs. Whemn it comes to their own daughters, they ALWAYS let them down. What a bad state of affairs
Mitkka deserved to be in top 3 with naina and pratibha. And she had everything to make it.But the Punjabis prove dthey are maule chauvinista nd how. Thye let down Arshpreet in VOI, again this poor pretty Mitika in saregama. Punjab needs to undergoa gender sensitivisation course.
Jut see the fuss they amke over taht overweight Vipul in VOI. and this pretty,uniwue Mitika was ignored because she was a GIRL

West Bengal is the Last stae which will vote like afanstic. we appreciate good talent and not random singers. Also people don’t like to spend too much on voting
If Monali Thakur and Anwesha and Aditi Paul could not win, WHY SHOULD BENGALIS vote for some random singers like soumen and debo? Thy re good, but not extraordinary. benaglis would much rather Pratibha/mitika/naina win!!

Mitika’s performance tonight was mindblowing. It is quite amazing that we will not be hearing her again. The only two good female singers left are Pratibha and Yashita. If Asma does not get kicked out this round, then she should do the right thing and leave - she is no where close to any of the other performers. This is a singing competition, not a charity show. Let her play her popularity games elsewhere. People like Mitika have worked hard to be there. I am sure that she will prevail however.
Yes, pratibha is a fantastic singer. she has avery good range and control. i would like her to be winner out of the curent top 13.
Also I didn’t like bringing shoumena nd vaishali in between all the others who have been there from beginning. It does not seem afir to me. Ah well……

Aren’t you making a lot of assumptions here when you state that Punjab is a male chauvinist state?
Your argument that Rohanpreet and Ishmeet are ‘besura’ is subjective.
Also, how many girls have we seen from Punjab in the past?
Only two - Mitika and Arshpreet.
If Punjab was as enthusiastic about voting for its males as you make it out to be, Sunvinder would have been in this contest.
Though sexism did play a role in ousting Mitika, I don’t think it was the sole factor.
Rather, this seems like some strategy from Zee TV.
They tend to eliminate the so-called “boring” contestants that don’t have a controversial story behind them.
Look at Mitika. She didn’t make any fuss in the contest, nor did she issue any controversial statements, nor does she hail from another country.
Instead she just sailed unnoticed to the top fourteen.
Hence, she is eliminated. That’s Zee Logic.
Don’t take every elimination to heart. I think Zee has completely lost it.
Also about your comments that Asma is ‘the worst representation of the female species’ - I think that’s purely exaggerating things.
Sure, she isn’t an awesome singer and she doesn’t deserve to be here. How does that make her ‘the worst representation of the female species’?
Coming back to your argument about sexism playing a role in ousting Mitika, I think that it’s the mindset of the Indian population that makes them vote for guys more.
Also another factor could be that many people watching this show are girls from the age of 16-20+. Girls tend to vote for guys more than girls, and they also tend to put down other girls. This could play a role in preventing female contestants from getting votes.
Agree with the previous FEMINIST. Punjab IS one of the male chauvanist states of India. Rohanpreet and that little fellow did not deserve 2nd and 3rd place at all. Vansundhara and Smita should have been the ones contesting with Anamika.
I agree that there is a big population of “teenage/adolescent girls” in voting…however, inspite of that females like Shreya, Sunidhi and Anamika made it to the top.
Pratiabha is THE BEST followed by Naina in the current group.
No matter how much you guys hate Bengalis, you have to admit that this is one of the most advanced communities in the field of music.Music is in their blood and culture.I don’t think I need to site any example. If you guys think that Bengalis win saregamapa only due to extraordinary regional voting I will say “You guys are jealous of Bengalis”.
I cannot believe that Mitika was eliminated. I don’t understand how pathetic singers like Asma and Sara can still be in the competition and a talented singer like Mitika is shown the door at such an early stage of the competition. Asma needs to be shown the door as soon as possible. She’s a disgrace and doesn’t belong in the league of such talented singers. The judges need to take action or this show will loose it’s charm and credibility. Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is supposed to promote talented singers not “Drama Queens” like Asma and Sara. I’m in shock just like the judges!!

I doubted at the time of entry of AAsma for Brahmastra leaving good singers like Arshad, ragshree etc.
Aasma do not qualify for entry to Brahamstra itself.
Now she passed the first round.

I am very surprised to see that Soumen getting snageet chakra, when he has sang only 1 song vs. others who have been singing it for past 24 weeks..
Saregama is loosing it’s credibility and I guess, Star Voice India and others shows will much better in coming year.
This year Saregamapa doesn’t have proper rules and they are getting generated based on how to please folks from Calcutta and not other places in India and around world..
I agree it is hurting to loose people like shashi suman and mitika kanwar….As I pointed out above, Saregamapa doesn’t listen to folks besides folks from culcutta..

I can understand your frusteration at the unafair eliminations in saregama. we in India feel the same. The current saregama has to go down in history as the one which as eliminated GREAT singers like sahshi,manisha and mitika and preferred to keep aasma, sara, debojit dutta and faraaz butt!!
But all said and done, how do you conclude that zee is trying to please folks from Kolkata? If taht was the case, wouldn’t they have brought back MANSIHA from Kolata in brahmastar instaed of a besuri aasma? But they didn’t!
So I don’t think zee is trying to please Bengalsi. I agree benaglsi ahve a clout. taht doesn’t mean an average singer like sayon should be eliminated? and he was!
the rpblem lies in zee trying to capture other markts like Middle wast and hence bringing aasma into the show. We benaglsi are not partial to benaglsi. w support good singers

Next item of the program is the forced failed rivalry between two giggling girls.. one from chhota sheher, and other from badaa sheher. Zee is pushing the two girls to go head-on into an ego fight that’s just not happening !

Today, Pratibha again was technically very good. Very nice voice. Well sung. But she missed the “feel” again. Just close your eyes and listen to her song.. it is so dry.
So far its been Shahrukh Khan round… and it continues with Debu.
O gosh.. he was awesome today ! Best so far. He is a front runner after this performance… although Himesh is sure that “a ladies will win this time” !

Naina’s “jaane tu ya jaane na”, back to back with Debu’s rocking performance was a treat ! She was awesome, mindblowing. And THANK U Naina for bring something non-SRK.
Mithika’s “radha kaise na jaale” showcased her lack of clarity in words. But she was very impressive. She should get a special HISTORY for bringing a different kind of song to this show today. I’m so sorry she had to quit so early in the game .. but kya yaar… u guys and gals really shocked??

I still can’t believe that janta will prefer Asma over any singer in the finals, Its a mystry for me but I have made up my mind to expect even bigger bullshits from “Zee srgm creative team”. I will add to Dockaul’s comments that may be ZEE is grooming her for Tulsi role down th line..
Coming to the performances, overall it was good singing after many bore episodes. Vaisali & Prabhita sang well and to me they were a class above the other singers today. The main problem in Debu I see is the clarity of words although there is feel in his singing. Souman is good edition and his 2 performances are just fine. I am looking for Zaheer & Kaushak to give some top performances, as they are the only ones from remaining group, I have expectations. Lets see if Shujaat can control his acting and concentrate on singing only.

As usual.. a lot of drama.. lots of personal problems of contestants.. lots of love stories.. in C07 we got fed up with Aneek, Sumedha (Mauli?), Amanat Love triangle.. This time.. I think Zee SRGMP team is undecided on which love story to follow.. so love story kay ooper love story chal rahi hai.. lets see who’s love prevail till the end..
Doosra drama is the same which I said in my last week’s episode comments.. Aray kiss kisam ka singer chahiyay bhai??.. decide kar lo.. hamain kya See-Saw par bithaya howa hai.. Kabhi Versatile singer chahiyay.. Kabhi stage singer chahiyay.. kabhi Studio singer chahiyay.. and what was himesh saying??.. it was like.. bachay nay saal kay 364 din bohat mehnat ki.. last day main exam kay daoraan 10 main say 6 sawal kay ghalat jawab day diyay to koi baat nahi.. A+ main paas kar do.. If this is the criteria of this show.. then I guess show ki zaroorat nahi.. bahir say hi decide kar kay hamain bata diya karo..
And why was he calling “aurtain” again and again to the girls??.. bhai “larkiyaan” kaho.. himesh mian.. larki aur aurat main fark hota hai.. if you know what I mean.. nahi to urdu ki classes lo..
Okay.. Performances.. were there any??.. oh yeah.. I did heard some songs during all this drama.. hmm.. lets see..
Kaushik: Impressed me with his last week’s performance.. though giving him Chakra Shakra was a bit early.. atleast he should sing a couple of more songs to prove himself before being crowned.. is performance main bharao chahiyay tha awaz main.. which was missing.. Rachao was also not there.. and as senty said.. sur bikhray howay thay..
Pratibha: Asthai was marvellous.. but then from Antra onwards it was just good.. she did nailed the song but it was like “kacha kacha”..
Debojit: Man this guy has nailed 95% of the songs till now.. magar is ka masla pronunciation ka hai.. words are not clear.. in this song.. paltay bohat achay thay.. behlaway perfect thay.. just has to take care of his clarification of words..
Naina: Asthai was understandard.. but after that she was good.. I wont go till the extent of calling it a “history”.. it was more like “superhit”.. nothing extra ordinary about it..
Faraz: Ashtai was bohat achi.. uthaan bohat barhiya thi.. but though he kept the feeling in the song.. sur idhar udhar bikharnay lagay.. he needs consistency… I think he thinks a lot during his singing.. he needs to let go and follow his heart during singing..
Mitika: Modulated her voice again.. this time it was “nasheeli”.. I don’t know what is her problem?.. honestly speaking.. I have been unable to figure what her original voice is.. all the time she sings.. I feel like she is singing in “falsetto”.. anyways.. whatever voice she was using.. she sung it beautifully..
Vaishali: Thank you very much mam.. and now you can go.. I mean comeon.. I cant raise the voice of song when she is singing.. by ear-drums start aching.. Cheekhti hoi awaz hai.. it hurts.. I think she should try to sing in lower kharaj.. that would be more appropriate for her (and for us)..
All in all it was again an okay okay performance by SRGMP team.. If they want the audience to get attached to contestants then they should allow the “janta” to listen to just singers.. and try to avoid the extra-singing activities..

I thought Vaishali was excellent - hope she’s not in the bottom next week.
And also spotted Naina Saxena on Indian Idol - guess she does not get very far there.
Bhaava and laya is more important in singing.If u sing versatile songs perfect sur,without bhaava or expressions it is not A+.Mitika has to improve her expression and pitching.Her pancham and madhyama was flopping in most of her songs.She was missing the perfect raaga chain.So take everything positive.I m not defending the others like Asma or Sara.We can just say Mitika was unfortunate.But fortune won’t forgive Asma And Sara if they don’t improve.Faraz is very correct singer according to me.He may sound bad for any one.But for a music teacher like me he is average and he shows signs of improvement in every performance.I can assure he is 1000 times highly potential than Debojit and Shujat.
Zaheer needs training in Low notes and must choose songs according to his madhyama and panchama advantage.Did u see his singing of sureshji song.
Shujat needs training under expression and basic practice of sargams.
Debojit may be shown most perfect in the show.But he lacks something too.He has to improve his versatility.He has to sing all notes clearly.Many songs sung by him is not clear bcos he is not singing from his full heart.He is #1 great singer and will sing songs like Kishoreda.But He can never be the dedicative singer like Mohd Rafi saheb.He will get the dard in his song only if he sings many Mohd Rafi’s songs.
Finally my opinion is based on what i learnt from my Gurus.It may vary from 1 to 1.I respect every one’s feelings and I like all the singers saregamapa,svoi,indian idol.
I missed out Soumen Nandi.Luv u very much shishya bcos U r very capable and U remind me of Junaid Sheikh.Soumen has a good voice,clearity of notes,need care in high notes.Bhaava and laya good.He must start practising classical sargam.
Singing compitition in Zee Saregama stage….technical analysis competition in $hashi’s forum! Not bad! At least don’t have to read the pyar-muhabbat poems.

Pratibha should stop saying “Mahableshwar baba ke naam pe ….mujhe vote…!The moment she utters her God’s name the voters population will be divided accordingly…Parinam-You all know- less support. Same applied to Faraz who said “Insha Allah vote for me”. Their each and every sentence makes a difference on voting patterns- may be good or may be bad for them..I think it’s bad.
I agree with comments about Mithika. She is superb and did not deserve to be eliminated. Who can call Asma a singer? Big drama queen fully besur.Even Deepali was better than her.
The judges should have power to veto.Please bring back Mithika. Shankar seems to be the only fair and excellent judge and so was Suresh Wadkar.Debo sings well but makes weird gestures which should be curbed by the episode director. And it looks like they are cashing in on his personality. His mother is really graceful and does not seem to like the comments especially by Pritam.
