Saregamapa Challenge 2009 Videos - 19th September episode
From today Bramhastra round is going to start. The two contestants who got the entry through wildcard round are Tarun and Asma..[no comments 
] . So now we have 14 contestants and from today there will be public voting and every week one contestant will get eliminate. On todays show Raja Hasan came on the saregamapa stage and he sang maari teethri from De Taali which is the solo song sung by himself for Vishal Shekhar. He said that he also sang for Shankar. Feeling proud that at least he has got some good work in this industry…so watch the first episode of Bramhastra Round

Forget about it , don’t waste your money on votes . All this is just a method for gaining more TRP . I am pretty sure , in two more weeks they will come up with some dramatical /controversial wildcard entry that will get back 2/3 more singers into the show on the pretext that public ne bahut dabaav daala aur in contestants ko waapas lane ki maang ki … guess we shud just watch the show for the sake of the remaining good singers remaining who for all we know will be given some stupid songs to sing because it will match the genre of the movie that is being advertised by the guest stars on the show . I pity this show . I mean what was the point in getting mahagurus to judge the initial rounds when they were going to mess it up half way thru . Totally ridiculous !!
i love asma, she is so cool! you guys, why so serious? if aneek could have won surpassing raja or amanat, debojit could have outdone vineet, what is so wrong with letting us see a little more of this sooooo sooooo sweetsy ladki? it’s a show on TV and not radio, the best entertainer would be the deserving winner. all is not lost, there is playback singing for the best singer, so take it easy!

personally i don’t have any problem with asma………..but she doesn’t even know what she dealing with. indian music is not so easy all she is on screen………..maa kurta hu…mai gatta hu….just etertyaining audience with her dialouges not songs.

No offense..you need to get your musical strings tuned. Aneek was a deserving winner, not because he’s cool..but because he can sing. It is a shame that Zee brings Tarun and Asma instead of Sashi/Manisha/Sunvinder..where is this world going to? I have always questioned the musical taste of the Indian Junta..but this reinforces the fact that most of Indian public do not understand good singing from poor singing. This selection preposterous!

thanxs nasir yar,it wasnt that i was angry at you,i was just kidding,if you read my mail,you would see i wrote in brakets that kidding.i do treat and give priority to my patients,as i mentioned above,im doing residency here in atlanta,so fortunately for them,they are not totally dependant on me:).so,i used to like saregama,and was a big fan of it,but not anymore,and just like you too,i was just taking out my frustration by writing.infact i was blaming the format right from the beginning along with fayyaz je,harjeet je.anyways damage has been done and is irreversible.i work in hospital for 8 hrs then im free and thats why i give time to this blog and show.anyways brother i too wasnt serious,and if you felt i was offensive then im sorry too.cheers

I don’t agree with Mili’s language, I know she is angry but this is a sad day for music in general and saregama in particular. Last year Raja won brahmastra. And this year we have tragedy king and comedy queen? Is it even relant to say neither of them have been brought for ’singing’ reasons?
i am afraid singers like Shahsi/Mnaisha/Arshad are bound to suffer in such a system. Also I like one point of Mili’s- saregama combines the worst aspects of socialism and capitalism. If theya re following acapitalist sytem in getting votes and SMSES, they should learn that all private enterprises is based on MERIT alone. talent gets money- that’s ethos of capitalism. However saregama seems tohave lost this basic funda.
aasma DID NOT get highest votes I am sure of that. Junta is not deaf. It is RIGGED VOTING on part of zee. Thye have selected a bunch of mediocre singers. I am shocked taht not a single one in top 12 had the excellence of Shashi and Manisha, except Pratibha - she is a very good singer.

asha tai ousted aasam is first round itself. then she was brought back for bramhastra whereas Arshad and Sayon were NOT. I wonder on what basis they selected the wildcard entries. last year Raja sang best in brahmastra, and he was back. He also becamse first runner up. this year zee has lost it completely.
Many pope will stop wathcin the show now because Shahsi and Manisha are out. What will Zee gain by this? I wonder.
zee has dealt itself a major blow. Justice should prevail sooner or later if no more seasons of saregama are there.

Look at the EXPRESSION of Himesh…………when Raja announces Asma is part of Rock Ghrana………….ha ha ha. He was really disappointed. He pissed off when they showed a clip of him eating (I dont know what he called THAT TING he was eating)………..ha hi hu. It’s fun to watch saregamapa just because of that and it is damn boring to watch baby Sara drama. I don’t understand why they come up with such issues on stage. Even Shankar did not know what was the problem. If she can’t stand the negative comments then she must leave. Now if you watch PTV or private channels in Pakistan you will see many female singers, so she can not blame Pakistan for that, but maybe the people in her family or muhalla or whatever……
I have visited Pakistan and I have seen that pakistanis have gone too far, so now it’s not a matter of religion, it’s pure local community thougts…… so guys enjoy the show and have fun.

coming back i read in another forum that aasma was actually offered a place in the top 10 by zee tv… i don’t know why though, but if this is true, it shows a LOT about the “credibility” of SareDRAMApa.
on another note, did anyone catch the first episode of Indian Idol yesterday? is it worth watching?

Wow. I havn’t cried this much over any other show. I didn’t really understand the move they made with Asma. I mean, shes a sweet girl but I’d say the other girls were cheated because of their talent. Anyway, this show is so inspiring and beautiful. The individual stories of each singer just amaze me. Definitely a worthwhile show, and great for your soul.
SRGMP is turning out to be quite another Laughter Challenge or at least more fake than the Saas Bahu serials. Looks like the program directors are bent on crushing the huge good will that the program built over so many years of genuine dedication to find real musical talents. No wonder you cannot see Gajendra Singh’s name in the crew casting. He was the one who took the program to unprecedented glory, now the rascals that have replaced him are undoing his good work. I miss him
In all other countries you will see they try to uphold their own participants over overseas ones in any international show. But our poor country must be the only one that purposely puts down rightful and deserving Indians over buffoons from overseas. I cannot understand the logic behind this fake attempt to be great. There is no logic in Asma coming back to a show where the likes of Shashi, Sayan, Sunvinder, Divya Kumar are present. The music sense of Indian audiences cannot have gone down as much. The audiences very well understand that they are here to listen to great talents not to watch a silly soap opera. So I am sure this was not their verdict. The ones who would like to watch Asma would rather tune into comedy serial than to SRGMP. Is Zee listening???
Asma was not the best to come back although she is a lovely girl. She will leave soon anyway. I like Mitika most but I know she won’t win. Debojit will probably be the winner and he sings well.

I agree with the common theme here: Asma has no business to be on the show–she does not even know basic sur, any other of the eliminated participants is way above her in singing. Come on, Zee, this is a SINGING show!! Pick the best singer, not the funniest/silliest person. Get your basic criteria of selction right..it is an insult to singers like Shashi to have this silly girl selected over him. And all this drama of “main koshish karronga, main mehnat karoonga” is ridiculaous. There are more accomplished people already ahead of her–why waste their chance??
If these comments are read by the producers/Aditya Narayan, I hope they take note.
And i agree again–Tarun is a good singer, but Shashi is better! He was perhaps picked for his sob-story which seems to work always.
