I am really unhappy with the format they are following for elimination. They are loosing really good singers because of this weird format.
First of all they ask best singers to compete with each other and then once they prove themselves good, next thing they face is elimination while lot of other singers still waiting to go through first round. Good singers are already getting eliminated in earlier phase of competition and they are getting replaced by new comers from Eklavya gharana (whom should have competed from starting and I can tell they are not as good as people getting replaced).
I hope they see issue with current format and think about changing it asap.
For all those tarun fans,Tarun’s main issue is focus.He does not attach himself to the song.He takes so casually.He can do better,if he takes singing serious.
He got very good voice
I can not even understand how stupidily Himesh Reshmaya makes his comments, some times completely out of context, only showing his shallowness and his jeallousy oozing out in every comment he makes. One thing he must learn to let other much more refined judges speak when they are trying to make a point and not cutting them like a dumb with his irrevelant remarks. I do not understand how come he keeps on coming every season as judge and contamintes a nice refine show with his idiotic repeated remarks. Shame on him for not behaving as a professional.

On the 9th August episode, the guys were much better than the girls.
They should have eliminated the girl from Goa and Prachi.

srgmp… I got a dekho at August 8th show online. Sureeli sangeet ke beech mein some sore sights - Adi and Ade’s costume colors.. jeez.. spare me ! Was Adesh wearing a life jacket? Unka gharana doob to nahin raha hai ?? Sorry, m not following the show as diligently as I usually do.
Naina and Zaheer were really good. Well deserved magic door… err..sorry.. golden key.
I am not a big Jenice Sobti fan. Sobti sings ok, but not being able to sing “hindi” hindi songs is a sore point for me. Me no big Prachi fan neither. Na haan ! Nor Debojit. He was awful in “alvida”. Jeez !! Kheema bana diya gaane ko ! I was expecting him to get the ticket this time.
Hardly anyone is really maha impressive so far. I hope shujat, naina, pratibha etc bring out their best and raise the quality of this show.
Will return to srgmp when the voting shoting starts. Or if I hear about a brain-blasting performance.

Have been watching the “Other program” or should I say “Gharwali- Baharwali”. So I have been watching “Baharwali” and it rocks.
The Quality of the singers is much-much better and so are the songs.

“You all are living in a dream world”. You want excellent talent, quality singers. This used to happen in th 90’s when it was SaReGaMa. It was a different Program SaReGaMa.
The present show is SaReGaMaPa.
SaReGaMaPa - Pa - for paid for, Pa for Paisa, Pa for Partiality. Our title claims what the show is about.
Hence please stop blaming us, just watch the show & vote. Leave the rest to us.

Looks like this site has a link to VOI2008 with video updates.
Not only is VOI .. err.. the “woh” show, more sureeli, but the voting shoting is only part of the deal. The judges’ marks do count towards a contestant staying or leaving the show. With our Saawariya (Undertaker !!) sleeping through most of the performances, and IsmailD giving poora dus to everyone, its only SukhiJee’s points that matter….and sukhiJee is pretty good at judging. So not a bad deal.

well coming to the program, I think zaheer is very very good singer most of all his confidence. Shujat is also very very good. i like Tarun also and wish him the best.
This is just the beginning when they come to final 12 we will know much much better.
i feel so sad that prachi got eliminated instead of janice.
janice is not a versatile singer….. Parchi was a versatile singer but the tears saved janice…. i know that she won’t go further.
