It was a really hard decision to evict any of the contestant. Hope nobody should go out next week….coz they all are really good singers.
I agree with you Ali, But I think this will keep on happening in subsequent episodes also, as all contestant will be better in their own area of singing so it sudn’t be left undecided.
Or the rule must be changed to wait for four Sanjeevani holder & have a complete normal episode for them to decide.
And I really dont understand this ‘GoldenKey’ & ‘Mahaguru’ concept…. Its really miss-leading the decisions.

I think some contestants are “sifarishi” and the producers and the higher ups are pressurizing the judges to vote for their guy and keep the crappy singer safe.
What happened today was the result of this deal. Now the judges face 3 excellent contestant not because they are bad singers but all the seats are filled by “sifarishis”.
Another thing that I have commented earlier is that why are we judging boys and girl separately. It means that if we have 3 crappy girl singers, only one girl will be eliminated while the rest 2 (but still crappy) singers are safe. And suppose that among 3 boys, the one boy getting eliminated is much better than the 2 girls who are safe! which is not fair for the guy.
The same situation can be opposite with 3 crappy boy singers and 3 excellent girl singer and 1 excellent girl singer will be elimnated while the 2 crappy boys are still in the show.
Plus, why are eklava gharana getting a free ride during the show. I have seen good singers being voted out from the 4 gharanas and then JUST TO REPLACE them, judges choose from eklava gharana! what justice is that?
Those singers were in eklava in the first place because they were NOT GOOD ENOUGH compared to the singer in the gharanas, and when we kick out the good singers from gharanas then give chance to ekalava singers???!!!
its like you havent passed the exams for 7th grade but you kept as eklava and gets a free ride all year. And when someone fails the final exam of 7th grade and a position is vacant for a student for next year, you are picked from eklava and given a chance in 8th grade.
Boy!!! then I want to be in eklava gharana till the end because i know someone will be kicked out and i will eventually have my chance, probably get to the finals staying in eklava and not singing a single song until asked by the judge!
anyway, its getting too late and i should stop blabbing and go to sleep. Last years format was better than this year.

i just want to agree with jamshid that the format was excellent last yearand without going into any debate everybody knew till the end that raja,auniq,and amanat deserved to be the finalists.but the format is too confusing and complicated this year.indee i would say it is actually misleading and dishearting.all the three with sanjevni booti actually deserve to stay just because two of these three good singers are facing elimination just because of the poor format of the show.i hope the sooner they change the format the better its going to be for the show.and aklaveya gharana concept is a strange concept.i think somebody got the idea in his sleep just to drag the show longer
ts true that the comments scripted and delivered on this show were not up to the standard. The Saregamapa Team should look into it and it should clean its mind out of this bias thoughts. They must know that they are earning bad name not in India but in whole world. The viewers actually know what is actually going on behind the stage. Sara Raza you are great singer and every one loves ur singing and the expressions u put in ur songs. Keep it up Sara.
Saregamapa Team and think tanks should stop now saying that why India and Pakistan are two separate countries. They should understand the realities and ground facts. If a Pakistani beti and sons are there in your program stop humiliating them by saying why they say ‘I love Pakistan’. Its freedom of every independent citizen to say it anywhere. why a fankaar is not supposed to say it??? after all fankaar is a citizen of any country, first he/she is a citizen after that he/she is a fankaar or player or artist. You should stop this practice at once. and Satish what a person are you, u say u r against partition, wow, if u r against it why u called urself an indian, stop living in india and go somewhere else where ppl r against partition. The geographical boundaries exist since centuries and will be there since upcoming centuries. So stop saying non sense things.

I think aadesh was right in his decision. Faraaz and sayan r both brilliant singers and neither 1 deserves 2 b eliminatd. Aadesh is da most fair an just judge in da competition. Himesh shud b taken out as he is extremely rude an arrogant. And btw 2 all indians an pakistanis, y dnt u ppl let bygones b bygones. Da younger generation shud concentrate on makin peace between da 2 nations.
i agree with you that adaish is a good judge.and a good person but frankly i dont agree with his views on partition and stuff.on one hand people are confused by the format of the show and on the other hand we have to listen to all that stuff of being pakistani or indian singers????come on this is a world cup of singers, as they call it,so we have to watch it in the true spirit and appriciate anyone irrespective of their nationalities.enjoy the music.and vote for the ones who really deserves.and finally i want to say that all three with sanjevni booti are good singers and should be given another chance because they might be on their way out because of the rubbish format of the show this year.the sooner they change and revert to the format of last year the better.

its not a point of being mahaguru,infact they are there in the danger zone because of mahagurus who themselves are a victim of the poor format.remember asha jee quitng before announcing the results?the format this time around is so poor that even the judges ask aditya to select and eliminate the contenders.so the status of the show comes to a point where the anchor has to decide whom to eliminate?i pity with all the three.i too cant understand why girls and boys are judged seperately while the show is without sex discrimination,as far as they call it.it is just like that in a class you have to judge boys and girls seperately.i think in these circumstances no body would want to become a mahaguru.coz the format is senseless.i pity all the three.they are good singer,infact better then a few with the golden keys(what they are meant for?).i think before the main round begins they should change the format or otherwise saregamapa will become a laughter show
Wat was aadeshs view on partition dr. aamir? I unfortunately missed da independance day episode. Also does any1 knw how da public can contact sa re ga ma or da judges? I thnk we shud voice our opinions 2 dm on da current format. Mayb if we make our voices heard, things may change. I notice many ppl sendin letters 2 sa re ga ma so if any1 knws hw 2 contact them or the judges plz let me knw. Thanx every1
aadesh said he doesnt believe in partitions,wheather of home or of countries.he is a good judge and i have seen him enjoying performances of pakistanis too.its not about his credentials as a judge.those are his views which he shoudnt thrust on people.reality is india and pakistan are two countries seprated by boundries,but social and cultural similarites exist and should be the point of bringing the two people together.in my opinion saregamapa is a platform to bring the nations together.lets not waste the opportunity.finally i agree with you noori that there should be a way in which saregampa organisers can get the feedback of what masses feel.this show is too much sacred for most of us to be ruined by experimentations

I agree wid u dr. aamir. I also thnk shankar mahadevan is a gud judge. And he is very honest wid da contestants. I thnk sa re ga ma is a great show bt unfortunately certain incidents spoil da fun. If all these mishaps r occuring now i wonder what wil happen as we get closer 2 da end.

thanxs fayyaz for giving the link.i have farwarded my point and i would request all the viewers to share their views too.because in my humble opinion the standards were raised so high last year and the show was such a success that they should have tried to maintain the standard if not improving it.its already two rounds on and people are still confused (including the judges) about the rules and to select their favourites.secondly i think sometimes by making the judges too emotional by showing the backgrounds also influences the outcome,so rightly pointed out by aadaish jee.i think its a professional platform and is termed as the world cup of singers so emotions shouldnt be allowed to decide the outcome and the fate of the contesters.in the end i would wish harjeet je to get well soon and get rid of his jhukam.

Anyways according to the format of the show judges can select any contestant from “Iklawya Gharana” when the strength of their Gharana decreases from 6. “Iklawya Gharana” is just performing as back up its up to judges when they need they give someone a chance to join his gharana. As the “Iklawya Gharana” consists of 12 members so every Judge can choose only 03 contestants from “Iklawya Gharana”

Faraz, Tarun and Sayon are way much better than some of the other female contestants (i.e the girl from GOa who crying in the last episode, the girl who claims that her dog eats money,…). Faraz is way much beter than Shujaat.
Sara and the very tall guy from Rajasthan were the best. Among the girls the worst performance so far in the show this season was by the girl from HimeshR’s grahana. She could barely sing.
I don’t know why some of you are making such a BIG fuss over Addesh’s and Anandji’s comments. Anandji and KavithaKrishM were right…race, nationality, religion should not matter for an artist. I think they were looking out for the best interest of the contestant. I’m sure all of you remember what happened to Amanat, Mussharat and Junaid…the media reported that they refused to sing Indian Patriotic songs….which of course turned out to be untrue. I’m sure that all of you have noticed that after that incidence Junaid never performed well. Anandji was probably looking out for Sara’s best interest …to refrain her from making any comments on the show which could be abused by the media etc.
As for Addesh’s comments …that he hates partition. Being Punjabi myself, I hate the partition…it was one of the UGLIEST incidents in history…it should never had happened.

I don’t know why we people discuss only the negative points instead of positives every one was saying against the comments of Anand Ji and Adesh Ji for Sara Raza Khan. No one even highlight the point when Sara was appreciated by Kavita Ji and in next episode when she given honor to tie “RAKHI” to Tushar Kapoor and given the tickets of “Ajmair Sharif” as gift. Shaied yeh scenes un logon ko nazar nahi aye ju apnay har comment main “Mera Bharat / Mera Pakistan” kehtay phirtay hain. Instead of admiring the efforts of Team SRGMP to bring Indo-Pak closer, we are criticizing upon them. What the hell is this? I think people just watch SRGMP for criticism (negatively) not for enjoy the music.

I just saw a clipping of one of the pre recorded Saregampa episodes, it shows all the contestants singing Hip Hop songs or rather Rap songs… like Sara Raza Khan was singing ‘Everything’s gonna be Golmal’ from Golmal, Mitika was singing ‘Right Here Right Now’ from Bluffmaster, Zaheer was singing ‘Tauba Main Pyar kar ke’ from Pyar Ke Side Effects, Naina singing ‘Khwab deke jhoothe moote’ from Race and one more male contestant singing ‘Sing is King’ from SIK. It looked like a fun episode, everybody seemed to enjoy….
But there was a big big problem… you know who were the guest judges?? Ghulam Ali Khan Sahib and Suresh Wadkarji.. Can you believe it? I just saw their blank faces during the each performance and the look on their faces… I wonder what are they going to comment on these songs and I am not sure if they are going to enjoy these performances… I really wonder what are they going to say… I really dont believe that creative team of Saregampa has absolutely no sense as they just dont know that if they wanted to invite them then they should have some classical/semi classical round where they can advice each and everyone and show some guidance.. and at the most enjoy on the show.. Or if they wanted to have this round then invite someone else and save these judges for some another round… Cant believe what i saw!

The girl who sang Every thing gonna be golemale was not Sara Raza Khan.
I feel sorry for him becuase the elimination did not happen that day and it’s becuase farhaz was the strongest of all. And it’s true. They won’t have any elimination next week. It’s all planned. I have nothing against the other singers. Good Luck anyways

There are some brilliant people, including judges, who make saregampa such a huge success, but there are some divisive as well as stupid people who create a nuisance value. I’ll name them later.
Personally, I have problems with those who invite a guest and then try to humiliate him/her. Aadesh Shrivastav’s comment about Pakistani singers etc is regressive and tells how conservative he is.
At the same time I have a problem with the organisers. India, being a great secular and democratic country, has a tradition of not imposing one’s religion on others. Shankar’s slogan is ‘Har Har Mahadev’. How would it sound if Shankar Mahadevan or Aadesh are forced to shout ‘Naara takbeer..aalah akubar (sorry, don’t know how to write it)’ if they go to Pakistan. Another slogan is ‘Jai Mata di’, another religious slogan.
I have noticed that vulgar and sectarian people have a tendency to exploit religious sentiments and patriotism. Hats off to Indian soldiers who were present in the audience who were applauding a Pak song. This is what enhances the maturity of a nation. As a nation we’re confident man!
Overall, Indians have been magnanimous and true art lovers on the show. But some judges….and their naked cheap slogans are real irritants.
I feel sorry for Shankar who’s, otherwise, a nice guy- falling prey to a communal slogan. He must know that when two communities kill each other they shout ‘Har..har’ and ‘Naara’. Don’t force people from other religious to follow your cheap slogans. Be big and be true Indians.
To conclude, I must also say welcome all Pakistanis on the show. I think they rock. At the same time, if they are not happy with one or two things, they must understand ordinary people love you.

GOD is ONE. There is nothing wrong Saying ‘Har Har Mahadev’, ‘Jai Mata di’, Allah Huu akhbar’, etc - is a salution to GOD. It’s not a Slogan. For your info…most artists normally say a prayer(based on their religion) before they peform. There is nothing wrong saying ‘Har Har Mahadev’, ‘Jai Mata di’, Allah Huu akhbar’. What makes you sure that Shankar Mahadevan or Aadesh will not say ‘Naara takbeer…Allah Huu Akhbar’. Don’t make assumptions.
What do you mean by imposing one’s religion on others? Get your facts right…I despise anyone for highlighting this.

After the views on the independence day episode that was very difficult for me to post comments because i hardlly can see the music in those comments but then thoutght at least to say something so here i am (advance applogies as in my comments too music is not present as i want to question and answer apart fomr music)
First of all let us discuss independence day episode, people have ardues a lot about that but I have some other questions:
- people are sontinuously expressing about partition was not good and it should not happen and so many things……but lets take some examples out of the independence episode
First of all no one can deny the fact that Pakistan and India are two separate countries form the last 61 years. No doubt they have too many thing common but this is the fact that these are two countries.OK people hate partition, people hate to divide a land into different parts ad too many things but in reality do you really think that Pakistan and India (i am not including Bangladesh at the moment) could be together?
No Never Not at All……I do not want to be rude but realistic, what do you think it is up to the people of these countries to be united no no no…….it is up to the governments of the both countries……do u really think that people could be given the opportunity to make a decision, if some one answers yes then he is living in a fool’s paradise. Were peole asked at the timeof partition, these were polititions who arranged this partition and these will be again the politicians who will oppose the reunion of these countries. So be realistic and start thinking in the broad prospective. We are talking about the becoming one and at the same time we are trying to make more atomic weapons to defend ourselves, whome we are afraid of? against whome we are trying to prepare ourselves for battle? who will kill us?
Accept the fact that we are two different countries and we will reamin two different entities, no one can change the fact and probably we have to live inthe sameway forever.
As far as the independence day episode is concern, every one knows that too many things were wrong but the problem is that we have no courage to accept the realty. OK I have following questions out of that episode, if some one can answer that……..
1- Every one knows that singers from Paksitan and India are singing then what was the reason for putting only Indian flag every where, if you want to creat the harmony and love between people you should be possitive in your acts, if people could have Pkistani flag that could be a more possitive, if they can not bear only the flag of Pakistan how can you expect more form them
2- What was the reason for showing the Akhand Bharat map on the back of the wall, wheb you know that these are two different countries and by the way no one from Bangladesh was there so at least ask them before making them a part of that map that i am sorry to say willnever be like that agian in future.
3- I really feel sorry for Maha Guru Anand Ji, he shoould have the courage to criticise every one the equality basis. Wn Sara Raza Khan is saying that I love Pakistan and I miss Pakistan she was critically criticised my him but what happen when after listening Bande Matram ‘Shankar’ said that he is proud to be an Indian, he was duly praised by Mr. Anand Ji, what a hypocrate he is. Shankar never said the he was a Pround Akhand Bharti if he can say India why people from Pakistan can not say that they are proud Pakistani, at least when the countries are separated every one has its own identity, so this was very bad from Mr Anand side.
I will finish here as it is just creating more disturbance for me, suh a nice competition, nice people to comment, brilliant atmosphere has been ruined….. I do appologise for those who could dislike these comments but this is the voice of my heart as I truly feel that this is not right…….every one should be respected. 1- Every one knows that singers from Paksitan and India are singing then what was the reason for putting only Indian flag every where.

Leave partition, does that flag exist before English invaded? the answer is no.
You must read the history very carefully before this answer. You peope got your country 61 years back ans who was the ruler of before that? very clearly we were the ruleres of that areas… How long did Muslim Rlers and especially MUGHALS rule this area? Count the time and give the answer.
So if you are willing to show the flag then show the flag of Great Mughal Emprors that they used not this flag. And you should be thankful for being an independent country, otherwise you have to live under the rule of another Muslim Ruler, that might or might not be upto your choice.
