I am starting a campaign to stop people from pakistan to go and perform in India. I cant believe only For TRPs Zee tv can create such dramatic scenes by repeatedly saying akhand bharat and bla bla and asking how do u feel. Great singers in pakistan dint come to india to show world their colours like nusrat fateh ali, noor jahan, ghulam ali, mehdi hasan. It is nice to watch pakistani contestants perform their but u cant get rid of extremist both in india and pakistan and Zee is just trying to cash this. Anyways according to the format of the show judges can select any contestant from “Iklawya Gharana” when the strength of their Gharana decreases from 6. “Iklawya Gharana” is just performing as back up its up to judges when they need they give someone a chance to join his gharana. As the “Iklawya Gharana” consists of 12 members so every Judge can choose only 03 contestants from “Iklawya Gharana”

The Eklavya Gharana consists of a reserved force of twelve singers, who will replace the contestants as they get eliminated from the preliminary rounds. This is to ensure that every gharana has a fair chance in the competition and does not get eliminated.

First of all yaar stop fighting. what you can aspect from Zee Network.
Independence show was too bad. concept was more than that. last year episode of independence day was much much better than this. Creative director should be removed from his position with immediate effect.
one more thing show was too lengthy look at the voice of india, there remaining singers are 10. that mean shows ends in withing 3 month but saregamapa i think 5 month too much.
regarding singers very few are brilliant. what i am looking for Shujaat, Debojit & that Sardar G,
i want to see them in finals.

Faraz, Tarun and Sayon are way much better than some of the other female contestants (i.e the girl from GOa who crying in the last episode, the girl who claims that her dog eats money,…). Faraz is way much beter than Shujaat.
Sara and the very tall guy from Rajasthan were the best. Among the girls the worst performance so far in the show this season was by the girl from HimeshR’s grahana. She could barely sing.
I don’t know why some of you are making such a BIG fuss over Addesh’s and Anandji’s comments. Anandji and KavithaKrishM were right…race, nationality, religion should not matter for an artist. I think they were looking out for the best interest of the contestant. I’m sure all of you remember what happened to Amanat, Mussharat and Junaid…the media reported that they refused to sing Indian Patriotic songs….which of course turned out to be untrue. I’m sure that all of you have noticed that after that incidence Junaid never performed well. Anandji was probably looking out for Sara’s best interest …to refrain her from making any comments on the show which could be abused by the media etc.
As for Addesh’s comments …that he hates partition. Being Punjabi myself, I hate the partition…it was one of the UGLIEST incidents in history…it should never had happened.

yes minal you are right.and harjeet you might hate partition but remember pakistan and india became two separate countries even before you and me were born.quite a few generations have since seen them as two separate countries.and they are to remain two seprate countries for centuries to come.so why to fight and argue for things which cant be changed.i have many indian friends here in states and we love one anothers company.so why we ,and by we i mean both nations have to waste our energies on these issues while we have several other issues to settle for masses on both sides of borders.lets extend our hands and think of future and not past which cannot be changed and shouldnt be changed.im too a proud pakistani and am punjabi but from the other side of the border.i respect and love indian people and wish that you too think same way.no offence brother just my inner feelings
i agree that faraz butt is a better singer,in my opinion better then shujat but he is in that sanjeevni booti round because of his own mistakes of not choosing the songs that suited his voice,if he is eliminated he would have nobody else but himself to blame for either being too self confident or too agnorant to select better songs.wish all three stay coz they are better singers then many other in 3rd round thanks to the WONDERFUL format this time around
just check “JUNOON KUCH KAR DIKANEY KA” a real reality show and you ll find 100% good singers better then saregamapa 2009 and judges as well…and listen Ali Abbas , Ali Akbar, Malini, Lakhwindar …this is Choor Bazar………

I have nothing against Pakistan or India…all I said is that what happened in the past during the partition was UGLY (it was barbaric)…it should have been done peacefully.
Never once in my mind did it occur that Pakistan and India should unite as one nation in the future…it will never happen. I respect people from all nations be they from Pakistan, India or any part of the world.

I am an Indian and I am really sorry that a fellow Indian (Deepak) wrote those comments. I cant even believe what Sara must be going through. I live in US and when it is our Independence day I miss India very much. I totally understand that all Pakistani contestants would also be miss Pakistan as they are away from their country, and I am sure Sara said ‘I love Pakistan’ but actually she meant ‘I miss Pakistan’ and even if she meant ‘I love Pakistan’, whats wrong in that? I really dont understand why Aanadji made that comment… I really like Kavita Krishnamurthy’s comments to Sara and I am sure she felt good after hearing them.
And I really hate Aadesh Shrivastav, after hearing the comment to Sara.. Gosh, he is really sense less. This is how you make the person from neighboring country feel when they are hear for the first time in their life. They surely are taking bitter feelings with them when more than half of Indian people dont think like he does.
But I really like the way you have expressed yourself to Deepak, if all Indians and all Pakistanis think like this, we will be two countries in no 1 position.. aur koi hamara baal bhi baka nahi kar payega.. I wish i had Sara’s phone no/mail id and apologize on their behalf..

I don’t know why we people discuss only the negative points instead of positives every one was saying against the comments of Anand Ji and Adesh Ji for Sara Raza Khan. No one even highlight the point when Sara was appreciated by Kavita Ji and in next episode when she given honor to tie “RAKHI” to Tushar Kapoor and given the tickets of “Ajmair Sharif” as gift. Shaied yeh scenes un logon ko nazar nahi aye ju apnay har comment main “Mera Bharat / Mera Pakistan” kehtay phirtay hain. Instead of admiring the efforts of Team SRGMP to bring Indo-Pak closer, we are criticizing upon them. What the hell is this? I think people just watch SRGMP for criticism (negatively) not for enjoy the music.

I can’t stand this guy Aadesh Srivastav!! I don’t know if you guys remember - In 2006 SAREGAMAPA he was the mastermind behind Himani and Hemchandra’s plans of quitting the show midway leaving Debojit alone on the stage. Finally of course that backed out.
Now I hate him more after hearing his comments.
I don’t understand why wanting Akhand Bharat is hurtful to pakistanis? why if indians want one country that means blood brotherhood, these are good feelings, so what is big deal?
