Today is the first episode of Saregamapa where contestants from each Gharana are going to compete with each other. Asha Bosale will be the Mahaguru from now onwards. Today, two contestants from each Gharana will perform and only two will get entry to the next round while others will perform tomorrow. i am quite surprise to see the behaviour of mr. adesh, i do have a lot of respect as a musician but why he is jealous of Mr. Atif Aslam. he is true talent and has a unique voice which touch your heart. look at his career how many songs he sings and all super dooper hits in the charts, starts from woh lamhey, aadat, tere bin, and very recently hit pehli nazar and coming up bakhuda.
i request to Zee tv team that please took the notice of this and advise mr. adesh to not do this again availing this opportunity i also criticise mr. abhijeet in the show ek say bhadkar ek he also do this. they both are jealous from Mr. Atif Aslam.
if Zee tv officials did take no action agaist them we are forced to bycott the zee tv.

I agree with deliblaze. Asha ji made the wrong decision today. Her stating the fact that ‘Arshad has a bad throat today and still he sang good,’ is evidence enough that he shouldn’t have gone through. Many singers in the past have had to deal with bad throats but that’s just tough luck. It sure shouldn’t be used as an excuse to judge someone’s performance. I think our little Papaji should have moved on as far as boys are considered.
Himesh freakin Besharmiya, why in the hell is he such a drama queen. If you guys pay close attention, it is always this nasal dork who always starts all the drama. Anytime you hear that drama music (you know which one I’m talking about) it always is right after this dork has said something, because he’s always looking to stir things up.
And dear deli, Naeem, Khurram and other Pakistani brothers. What Aadesh said was wrong in my opinion, because I personally like Atif. But I don’t think it has to do anything with him being Pakistani. Some people have personal tastes when it comes to music. Maybe Aadesh doesn’t like his singing, I know plenty others, who don’t like Atif’s singing, even Pakistanis themselves, and I often get ridiculed for liking him. But music is music, you can’t force someone to like someone’s music. We shouldn’t make someone’s personal taste in music as an excuse to flame up racial tensions.
The comment made by them may be bad or good, right or wrong, but don’t make it an issue of India and Pak.
Guys like you are more responsible for the gap between these two nations.

I realy appreciate the way u comming from and the way u have explained the situation. First of all , If its his opinion he should keep it to his self???? and he shouldnt say this atleast on a public TV. It is a disgrace that these channels first invite Atif aslam as a guest judge and then other permenant judges disgrace them later on in their shows(refering to Abhijeet commmenting on atif) and now Adesh. No doubt u r big musicians but m afriad u dont have big hearts and sensible head to think that Atif has fans more than ur selves and m not exagurating this is TRUTH and by humiliating a person like that would only make some of ur fans to turn agianst u.
Secondly abhijeet mentioned that atif aslam uses softwares for his voice??? HELLOOOO arents this softwares available for every body ???? cant Aneek or abhijeet sawant or Amanat ali can use this and creat their fan followings.

i have a wonderfull theme in my mind, i know this is not applicable but i have to share with you, as you know bappi lahiri last year said singer is for music composer without music composer singer is empty.
i am talking about ATIF.
most of the songs sung by ATIF composed by Mr. Pritam. he must explain when he got time on saregamapa show or any where what he is think about Mr. Atif and answers the others who are just focusing to criticise on PAKISTANI singers not look at themselves.
I want to know Mr. Pritam thought regarding ATIF. is he using any software when ATIF sing any song.
Once again i protest against Mr. Adesh & Mr. Abhijeet on their ridicules comments on Mr. ATIF.

Some fresh voices were a delight to hear. Sukhwinder the youngest colt of the singing brigade promises to be a wonderful singer in making.
Himmesh, as usual or may be more than usual sounded, acted like a Ton Of Crap.
I am yet to understand if his ego is bigger than his mouth or his mouth is bigger than his ego….whatever it may be but his makeover has percolated down to his shitty comments.
He acts as if he is the sposkesman for all the music directors.
I hope Ashaji puts him down for good and would love to see him walking off the show one of these days.
About the singing of contestants, I would post my reactions tonight.

Hi All, Well I would only say that dont take make it as Paki Indi stuff…….just take it between singers and judges…..I am not justifying the comments of Abhijeet and Adesh but if he has been racist then he never had selected and judged Farraz Butt in Middle East as winner. It could possible that he does not like the Atif like most of the generation in Pakistan (dont forget that Atif is only recognised when he sung for India) anywayz nothing is personal…..I personally like some of Atifz songs…..

man you guys are arguing for no reasons. Adesh, Abhijeet and others are right when they say Atif Aslam can’t sing. It has nothing to do with him being Paki. Pakis WHO CAN SING WELL Nusrat Fateh Ali, his son Rahat, ustaad Ghulam Ali are all respected by any and every indian. If any of you have learned music then you will know that the song “Hum kis gali” by Atif is a disgrace and most of the other songs by him are out of “sur”. These kinds “new age singers” still have not mastered the sur yet and would have never seen the music studio if they were born 10-20 years ago, yet are being picked to sing songs for which they get paid. I am only 21 but I value the correctness with which singers sing. Mahadevan is a right example of singer who has it all. People are nowadays after money, not learning music. I am bengali as well but I absolutely despise Pritam’s music because he’s a fake who copies music from rest of the world has nothing origional about his music.

Add Sunidhi to the long list of singers and music directors who think Atif Aslam can’t sing. Youtube the following phrase “Atif Aslam can’t sing: Sunidhi Chauhan” you will find it there. THE ULTIMATE RESPECT FOR A SINGER COMES FROM THOSE WITHIN THE MUSIC PROFESSION AND CLEARLY MOST SINGERS AND MUSIC DIRECTORS DON’T THINK TOO HIGHLY OF HIM. I would be surprised if Sonu, Udit, Hariharan, EVEN REPUTED PAKI SINGERS LIKED ATIF ASLAM. FACT IS THAT HE CAN’T SING. IF HE AUDITIONED FOR A SINGING SHOW HE WOULDN’T HAVE MADE IT. asha just did the opposite of what himesh said.before it was like if you have a bad throat then bad luck for you but i think this was unfair in the part of the past singers who were eliminated because of their bad throat. So asha should have chosen someone else and the judge who passed bad commnents on Atif he should keep in mind that Atif is a great singer and and there is no othr singer like him every singer has its own unique voice quality style and singing charecteristics.He should stay away from such racist comments.

The biggest mouth of them all last year remain the biggest mouth this year! I am referring to Himesh the Besharamiyya guy. See how he sucks up to Asha Ji by going on his knees infront of Asha Ji. He is a real pain in the “a…” guy. Why not the organisers of SRGMP sack this besharam guy once and for all and at least make a large number of their audience very happy! First of all it was going all fine till i read the last part where u said ahsan and shukriya stugh and i certainly realized u r one of the confused as well. Now let me take ur confusion away.
In media to gain TRP u need to think on the wider picture. Zee tv or sony TV isnt just all about u indian guys any more. They want TRP from Pakistan and if not pakistan then atleast from pakistani people living in Europe and America. So they not doing a favour to pakistanis by calling them in their show. ITS THEIR NEED to gain TRP. As living in England my self i only started watching the show cz ov Amanat Ali and Raja Hasan. But u mentioned Amanat ali in top 5 thingy. Dont we all know that he has been let down when he should be the first. OK before u jump to any conclusion its not me its the rest of the world votes say.
Secondly India is always hungry for talented people i know but for their own sake. Atif was hit and doing concerts wordwide before he came to India. Nusrat fateh ali khan was well know all of teh world when he came to india there was need for him, cz u dont have a singer like him followed by Rahet ali. OK Adnan Sami ????

All that’s happening on SRGMP and other t.v. shows is just for TRP .. Every channel wants some sensational drama for which they keep focussing on ‘false love stories’, ‘fights between mentors’, ‘ maa ka aashirwad’, ‘roti kapada’ , ‘garib family backgrounds’ and of course India-Pak dosti and sensitive fights too !!
We should rather ignore and not let the channles getting successful in their cheap intentions !
Regarding Adesh or Abhijeet, if they insulted some singer, it could have been edited , but they didn’t………. why ?????…. Answer is simple ‘TRP’ !

I always supported Mussarrat during last season even if I come from Indian background , for me he was the best and real winner for me.
Amanat was ok but his breathing always sounded too much while singing, my favorites were Raja and mussarrat.

Asha took wrong decisions in SRGP 2007 too. Maybe she became a little tone deaf because she’s gettin old :|…
It’s not her fault every human being becomes fragile when becoming old like her. Abiltities like hearing becomes less. She was maybe a legend when she sang in her young days but her jugdement is far from right…

I think Ashaji should not be here as a Mahaguru. She belongs to a different genera…she should maintain her own class. These are all new singers and composers selecting the contestants in preliminary rounds. Specially with these big mouths like Adesh and Himesh. I don’t understand why she had to be here in such preliminary rounds?
hello gd aftr noon 2 every one ..this sa re ga ma pa is completlly Drama And Fixed Means this show only for the indian identy for famouse and for show to new indian young singer …i really disapoitment that i seen that the at from the beginning and at last performence he is a brelient sings bt the result he is outttttttttttttttttt.he is from pakistan..al the best singer out of show than why d indian relized that kind of shows……..i really showked that all the pakistani contestant is out…..thats d game …and befare this show SA RE GA MA PA 2007 is amazing and no comment for this show its just amazing bt i hate d 2009 show …its only for the indian………thanks bye
i just want to say that dont critisize on pakistani talent.atif aslam is the best. abhijeet and adesh dont jelous, oh i know you will jelous boz u are not much successful as atif aslam. so i hate u losers

Vaishali, Yashita and naina Sexaina great singers of this season of saregamapa challange 2009 but Pakistani only singer Zaheer doing well. Shujat is also a great singer but not confident about his singing ability.
