Saregamapa Challenge 2009 Reviews – 11th June Episode
Last week we got introduced to the all Gharana’s of Saregamapa Challenge 2009 but the real competition between the Gharana’s is going to start from today. Ashaji will be the Mahaguru from now onwards.
Ashaji as Mahaguru of Saregamapa Challenge 2009
All contestants come in pair of boy and girl and they all sing Asha Bhosale’s songs. They start with Piya tu ab tu aaja, Aaja Aaja main hoon pyaar tera, then Aditya sing Duniya mein logon ko, Then again contestants start singing Jaane jaan dhoondta phir raha and while they sing, Ashaji enters the stage singing Main Yahaan.
Aditya welcomes Ashaji on saregamapa 2009. He asks she was also mahaguru of Saregamapa Challenge 2007 and now also she is Mahaguru, he asks what Ashaji thinks
Ashaji – “I dont understand about the war in music. No problem, you can all fight with voice as the weapon. Sing in sur, thats all is needed.” Aditya asks Ashaji why she refused to sing Aaja Aaja main hoon pyaar tera. She replies, Aa, Aa Aaja was tough harkatein and so I asked for time to practice. Aditya says Panchamda gave 100 Rs for her singing.
Today’s format
Today, two contestants from each Gharana will perform infront of Mahaguru and Magical mentors and one contestant will get through to the next round while remaining will perform tomorrow.

Faraz Butt
Aditya calls him as Faraz Fatafat Butt. He is wearing red scarf on his head so Aditya asks why is he always carrying it with him. He then replies this red scarf is very lucky for me and I always wear it and was also wearing it while performing in SRGMP UAE.
He sings Mehbooba Mehbooba from Sholay... Singer and Music Director – RD Burman
Pooja Goswami
She sings Aao na. Singer – Sadhna Sargam and Udit Narayan Music Director – Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy

Himesh – It was good.. Shankar’s song is great composition, so he will be able to Mehbooba is evergreen classic and so Ashaji will be able to comment better..
Shankar – You have given lot of effort.. Im being too critical, the harkatein had to be taken in the third time.. All the best and God bless..

Aadesh – I totally agree with all the comments especially with what Shankar said..
Ashaji – I cant comment just after listening to one song of theirs. Faizal could have sung some sufi song and Pooja should have sung from inside instead of singing just from the throat.

Kher unka kehna sahi tha ki abhi ka daur bahot compitation se bhara hua hai, par vo jazbati hai ki ye nahin dekhte ki vo kahan baithe hain? Aur kiske samne baithe hain? Vaise himesh jee main aap ka sab se bada deewana tha par 11th july ke episod ke baad nahin kyun aap ne mujhe ye type karne par majbur kar diya ki “Aap mere achche singer me se ek ho…”

Mujhe aapka AAN MILO SAJNA bohot pasand aya. Khair main pehle bhi kai baar ise apse sun chuki hoon, Par is wale performance ki baat hi alag thi. Asha ji jo aayi thi, acha toh gaana hi tha. Mukul di bhi STAR VOICE OF INDIA mein aarahi hain 18 july se. Main dono ko dekhungi. Kitna accha lagega na.. aap mehnat karo aur isse bhi zyada accha gao… Byeeee di… Take care……

Hi all,
I think Himesh is over-reacting in the show. Some times what he means is gud but this guy can’t make his vision clear and always tries to over react which ends up in a mess. He always intends to push his gharana in the front but Himesh do u really realise that there are also other participants who is equally good. U must judge the overall performance of all contestants and not try n push ur gharana in the front.
I like comments given by Aadesh and Shankar.
Shankar judges the song n the voice of the contestant which is why he is there n Himesh must learn from him.
Asma you are so innocent and beautiful,you will come back.
interesting point Nnarshim but if himesh wasnt in the show then the show wont be generatin as much interest as it was before.jai mata di lets rock-rock the world
