My heart broke watching Vasundhara leave Saregamapa today. What a brave, sweet little girl. So much to learn from a little girl like her. She is an inspiration to many. God bless her and may her life be filled with happiness.
Kudos to her parents in making her so confident and so full of self esteem.
We love you Vasundhara
Hi,
Elimination week, one singer had to go. It is time for judges to encourage these good talented singers. They are in top 4.
Hope, Amir, Anamika & Tanmay become top 3. All singers are so good including those who got eliminated.
Looks like, public are doing justice with their votes.
Sonu Niggam was not happy today to see his favorite singer elimination. What about other talented singers who got eliminated? Whenever some kids singer leaves no one likes it but it is a competition & there will be only one winner.
Good luck to all singers.
Feb 08, 08 is the elimination round and as expected Vasundara voted out. Good Luck Vasundara you reach upto Top 5 and this is also an achievement. You should be proud of yourself. This is not the end and this the beginning for anybody who will leave now after reaching top 5
I do not like this devotional songs theme. They might make it better by chosing the better selection of songs. I do not understand why they come up with 50years old songs. Only Anamika sings not so old song and was very nice. Tanmay use a very difficult song and was alright. Same as Amir, he should have choose a simple song in this genre but for his age group he sings nice except as sonuji pointed out he did not pronouce the word dum fully. Rohan was sick and he mess up the last part of the song. Overall I did not enjoy this episode. Sonuji is little short temper lately. I hope everything is fine with him.
I hope Sat Feb09/08 will be better like last time. I wonder the kids not singing two songs as they have extra time only with only four left.
The show must go on and all the kids did well. Rohanpreet was not well and he still did a good job and Anamika was spell bound and she will eventually become the choice for winner and I see Rohanpreet as second and Aamir as third…
Thanmay will do well doing jingles in the ad industry and short commercials, he is very talented and will become a success story in Gream//
Love all the kids,,,,,
I hope Tanmay is THE BEST, the only guy who understand the abcd of notes well and try to sing with original beats. Anamika is other good singer as girls have high pitch so could go on high notes. Our two other singers are also well but little understanding of music and they sing as they can perform. I think Tanmay should not be eliminated as he is real pandit of fine musical understanding.
To be frank, my eyes were filled with tears to see Vasundhara leave from the show. She is such a god gifted talent. Many of us can see her but she can’t. That is why she is blessed with such talent but it is unfortunate that many of us who are so-called abled people can not feel and see the godgiftedness in her. Shame on us!
One thing I would like to mention over here. The judges should be commended. I didn’t ever like the comments passed on to judges through this section. They are doing their bit in an effective way. They were balanced and they exactly know as to what to say, when to say, to whom and at what stage. Please rewind all the clips without the biases of any kind, you would come to realize what I am saying. You know I am not an Indian national. Still I love Indian music particularly Hindi songs and music. India should be proud that you have such talented gurus and musicians.
For me SAREGAMAPA is a real open school for those children and all of us as the audience. It is an example of children’s participation in real sense for those who talk about child rights. The only sad thing is that there is no right participation for the right cause. Somehow I am feeling that the voting suystem is not right kind of evaluation approach. Many of my friends share this view.
Best of luck to the four candidates.

Kids are trying their best. Its hard to see anyone leave. But i personally felt that Sonuji is too harsh on AMIR. He is a 10 yr old kid, he has beauty of specialities in his singing. We all wish you Good Luck for finals. GOD BLESS YOU, work hard.
AMIR generally chooses difficult songs, and he does justice with them. I don’t know by judge is so after him since couple of weeks. some friends & People in NY were thinking of even writing to ZEE about this. If SOnuji wants to correct someone, there is no need to be so harsh, say it micely to encourage them to improve not dishearten 10 yr old kid.
It was like he was prepared even before AMIR started singing that today I’ll see YOu” not fair at all.
Vasundhara was simply one of the best and it was sad to see her leave. I think Tanmay should win since if we watched all the episodes he got the most A+’s from the judges. I have no problem with Sonu’s comments, he is just doing his job as a judge. Now about this public voting, I think it should not be used but only for choosing a PUBLIC CHOICE WINNER. When it was first introduced ,many complained about its use, and it caused problems on the show like the last competition. This is due to the fact that not everyone who wants to vote for their winner has access to a computer or SMS facilities since the area in which they live or the status quo does not allow for them to vote as they wish, hence supporters of a particular contestant may not have the facilities to vote due to non avability, and this is simply not fair. A panel of judges should be used when it comes to final five, and about 10 in the final show, and as we do in the Olympics drop the two extreme marks, the highest and lowest and the find the average of the remaining mars to determine the winner. This is the only fair method, and I would like to see public and the producers comment on this method. Well I hope Tanmay wins, since he is the best, so let see how the public votes, since many of them does not know about the elements of music and fine singing…….
I agree with you maiya, sonu should be tortured. It should be slow and painful. Let him slide down the edge of a razor blade on the tip of his nose roflmao:)!
Vasundhara’s elimination is really said, I dont know why she got so less votes.
I guess atleast now onwards disabled children should not be participating in these shows..this voting system and the politics are beyond a limit and these children dont deserve to be hurt by these judgements.
Wish vasundhara all the best.
Public voting on a “Devotional Songs” round could be tricky. And somehow the singing was not all that great in this episode.
Amir - His “Aye maalik tere bande hum” was great. As always his strong voice was the highlight. But .. hmm.. ya.. I still feel he doesnt bring “feel” into his singing.
Anamika too was very good with “satyam shivam sundaram”.
If I may say so, her pronounciation needs work. I know ..minor details.. but kya karun.. it stands out.
I liked RohanP the most in this round. He sang well. Now thats wat I call singing with “feel”. And great great voice too.
Vasundhara sang a very easy song “Itni shakti hamen dena daata”. I thought she was good but ya messed up in the end. Ok, she got out this round. Top 5 mein aana .. its an achievement by itself. good for her.
Here goes… there are many negative comments in other blogs about her “irritating” mannerisms and her frequent “wah kya baat hai”s.
In her defence, she needs to be able to react without being able to make any sort of eye contact or able to use a body language like nodding head etc, like we all do.
There was this kid Diwakar in an earlier srgmp lil champs show. He too was visually impaired. He too had some unique mannerisms.. similar to Vasundhara’s.
Tanmay.. his “Hari om” was ambitious. Its a pretty tough one to pull off .. great great great effort though. But unfortunately, the song showcased Tanmay’s weak points… big time. Low notes were bad. Bad song selection, kiddo.

i enjoy watching saregama but lately i am getting a little annoyed with the show. Tanmay who is about 12 i beleive gets treated like a lil kid and judges seem to love whatever he sings only b/c he is little in height. And Amir who is 10, the judges expect him to sing like them. they are way to harsh on him and even before i watched the show i knew he would get bad comments today, i believe he is the best one of them all and picks the most toughest songs.
Sonu falls from grace with such behaviour, he should know better about being fair… It doesnt matter who wins but everyone deserves their self respect.
sonu nigam is just full of rubbish….nuthin great in him of being a judge…he condemned Anamika singing eventhough she is singing so well and he should not bring big words like variations to this small kids..he should realize tht this are kids and not adults whereby this big words can be used.Suresh is doing a great job as a judge.keep it up.Last year little champs, Abhijeet the judge screwed up the whole show by being very biased in his judgement and he was just so unhappy when Diwakar doing well …well I hope all the best to everyone especially to Anamika.
Did anyone else feel that it was unfair of Sonuji to scold Amir like that? He just thought Sonu was addressing the rest of the kids and speaking to them all collectively, since he said “aap ko aur baaki bachon ko mein bhi yehi baat kehna chahata hoon” and then he gestured towards the other kids. Obviously Amir would look in that direction too. All just because Amir lowered the microphone and looked at the other kids for a fraction of a second. He probably wasn’t even aware that Sonu looked back at him. He’s very attentive to the feedback usually. Wow - what an egocentric person - “look at me when I talk to you” Okay there big guy - chill out. Honestly.. the nerve of some people.
With due respect to the Indian Film Industry…it has come a long way….
I know That Amir’s family was totally out of line..But why punish that 10 year old child for that…and Yes Sonu Nigam..I don’t care how talanted he is..He is very very RUDE at times….
Specially when he said rude things like jis thali mein Khatee hai….he dropped himself to the same level…even Aditya behaved in a more grown up manner than Sonu…
Sorry Sonu you need to grow up…
I don’t mean the height…I mean dimag se…
