this show has been rigged since like ever….just listen to teri deewani, and sanware …..and compare the besura tanmay…..sonu nigam and suresh wadkar…..i really had very high respect for u…but i hope u rot in hell for this…yes his parents were very agitated but it was justified….if i was a parent and knew my kid was the best and was eliminated just cuz of a personal grudge i would do the same…i dont think politics and corruption will ever leave india…may it be political field may it be music….shame

and m_khan90….i agree that SW and SN don’t deserve to be judges for these kind of shows…., i’ve watched Sonu continiously pass condescending remarks to Aamir for last couple of weeks. I felt hurt and disturbed being on the the side of the glass..i imagine what Aamir must’ve felt like.
I say if the judges and the zeetv had already decided to take him out of the show(due to thier personal interest) then just come out and say it..admit u r predejious….. If you have any dignity left in yourself.
aamir’s family shouldn’t have reacted in this way. it would of been alot more insulting to zee tv if they calmly and cooly told them how messed up they were. they would appear to be more just (what they said was absolutely right). i couldn’t believe the latest comments aamir was receiving. you have the business man who has the voice of a goat who can’t sing for his life receiving good comments and after aamir’s mind blowing perfomances u get comments like “it was okay but you’re missing… and that is very bad… be careful” WTF?? shame on you zee tv, i doubt i will ever watch any of your shows again as i know they are definitely rigged. corruption will never leave india. btw , i used to think sonu nigam was a nice guy, but he’s just as corrupted and arrogant and prideful and conceited as the rest. i already knew suresh was a joke from the first day i saw him. good luck aamir , EVERYONE knows you’re the best singer by a million miles, no question.

DO you know how much money Raja and Amanat are earning through ZEE TV? Judges have no rights to talk about other’s background? Then why Ameer’s family was exposing their background? Do they have right? Shame on you guys. you guys are angry because Aneek won instead of Raja and Amanat. Don’t you see that 2 of the 3 challengers were from the same religion of what Ameer belongs to? That is not a problem, but when Aneek wins…that is a problem…When Ameer comes to top 5…that is not a problem…but when he is out…that is problem…WAH USTAAD WAH!!!
At the same time I wanted to tell that Ameer should not have been eliminated. Tanmay deserved to be out…I liked his singing. But his family will be responsible if his carer is affected after this. Poor Ameer…Hope he will do will in future.
well..yes raja hassan and amanat ali were one of those top 3 challengers and i believe that was just to pretend or to show that they(zvtv) doesn’t dicrimnate.yes, i do believe they did it on purpose, and after watching this episode i am sure they wouldn’t let any muslim win..
It is clear that Amir was discriminated against for the past few weeks. I ppersonally liked the jusdges especially Sonu but they made it clear themselves that they have cheated. It was beginning to become clear for the past few weeks when actually not much change came in Amirs singing. And at fault for Amirs brothers behaviour is Aditya the host who acted as if he owned the show. At first Amirs brother thanked zeetv and said its ok and that it happens, but Aditya changed his tone n talked in a challenging manor. Clearly they were biased as much as i hate to admit it, it is the fact!! Anamika deserved first place but Amir definatley deserved second. Sonu Nigam being mister fair became a sell out. It was all preplanned and the show says that for itself! Amir hands down is the rarest voice for a kid that age. AMIR DID NOT DESERVE THIS. AT FAULT IS THE JUDGES BECAUSE OF WHO THE PUBLICS VOTE GETS MANIPULATED, THAT IS IF THEY DIDNT CHEAT WITH THE VOTES IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!

What Amir’s parents did was totally unethical. Sonu Nigam’s comments were also not acceptable, however, Sonu did a good thing of showing where this kid came from and how he has reached this position. Amir’s brother acted like a cheap typical roadside personality. Why did he not raise his voice two weeks ago? Was’nt he alive at the time?

I want to add something you are forgetting. ZeeTv when figure out that there are four strong muslim contestants and there is no doubt out of these three will definetely take all the three positions. Then thru a wild card entry let Aneek joined in the middle of the show and thru puppet besharmiah who pulled all the tricks to eliminate Mussarat and Junaid but Amanat was so strong so they have to let him stay and then finally let Aneek win inspite Raja got hightest votes from india.

In the entire episode, with my sincere appreciation I admire Amir. He has taken very sportive. I have seen Amir warning his brother not make an issue. We all had felt sorry for Amir. All the sympathy and goodwill was brought down by his brother and father’s absurd talk. I still agree with Sonu’ comments “jis thali me khate ho wosi po ched karthe ho”. Amir, you will have great career. You are already a popular peronality now. Hope you will keep up great, god willing, your borther and father care for your career.

Further to what I said of Feb15/08 episode, I was surprised of Sonu nigam’s innocence saying that it did not effect of not having elimination of one week(Suresh Wadkar sp) when Rohan and Vasundera was in btm 2. By not having the elimination the two btm’s fan following have voted tremendously specially Rohan’s punjab based voters. Ppl in different forum was saying all along that it might coz Tanmay or Amir elimination and thats what happened. To save Rohan, Amir becomes sacrificial lamb and Tanmay get advantage.
In the name of talent hunt it creates such a drama, trp creation, making lots of money and lots of innocent kids cries on elimination. If there is a human rights organisation in india they should stopped zee playing with the emotion of innocence children. Enough is enough. If they really want to do talent hunt then they just go by the panel of judges. By public voting you just creating regionalism and hatred.

I dont think Judges should be blamed for the guys elimination. They have been really unbiased throughout the program. Infact what ever mistakes thay pointed out ever was always right and technical. Aamir has been a bit reluctant giy from the beginning. as compared to him Tanmay, although not better singer than Aaamir, has always provED that he puts effort in not only songs but performance also. Aamirs family has really proven to be a bad looser. and sonu nigam is right that they shoudn’t have done this to programme. public has eyes and ears, they know if Zee is playing any politics or not but Judges have always been unbiased. I only have one complain against judges.. That they have been really strict in judging and that they shouldnt have done with children. it effects their coming weeks performance in a bad way too. but again it was nothing to do with biaseness.
and one more thing.. if some one thinks that Religion is asking me to write all that.. then every one must know that i am a muslim from Pakistan and Living in UK. i dont consider righteousness to be overruled by any Religious Biasness. and Neither do any of the religions do so
Please ask Rohanpreet to sing Teri Deewani and Tu Bula le the same way way Amir sang as those are the two songs in which sonu Nigam himself gave Amir a standing ovation.

I am very dishearted by Amir’s misopportunities by the judges overt injustice. I watch the show religiously and have noticed that Amir has been Targeted since the third episode and I knew very soon Amir will be out like Raja and Amanat. No matter how well Amir performed the judeges always managed to find the errors in his performance. My suggession to ZTV is to hire judges from all backgrounds and religions so, as to make sure the contestents are dealt with fairly and the judeges are not able to openly discriminate against children. If the Z-TV network is fair then they should bring Amir with some other deserving contestent through the wild card with additional judge. Thanks

I did not like the way Amir’s family reacted to the elimination. Why are they doing this to such small kid? He is still so young, he has so much more to achieve. I am really sorry for Amir, to be a part of such a family, who do not support his success and failure with the same spirit. They seemed selfish to me. How can they spoil such a talent with politics. Did you see the kid, he was so full of enthusiasm when he was announced eliminated, until his brother started bickering about the whole issue. How do you think such small kids learn so much hatred. It is all parent’s fault. They should be taught to behave in a civilized way and take life as it comes. No doubt Amir is one of the finest singers in the competition. And as far as Sonu Nigam’s comments go, i agree that a bit much, but anyone would be angry wih such behavior. They taught him so many things. Instead of being thankful to God and Zee for giving such a platform, they literally spit over the channel.
The most important issue is, they did not even care about such a great maestro Amjad Ali sahab. This is such an insult to him and music.

Now do not get personal with commenting and try to digest the fact. Stop fighting. If you do not like the format, stop watching the show and write a letter to zee requesting discontinuation of this format in future shows. Don’t you think we deserve better than this?

very sad..very sad to see all this..this shud have been avoided..amir would have been eliminated long back in the begining of program when he used to forget his lines..but because of judges he was still there..amirs family got lots of donation because of this program and zee tv..even though they dont need donation because there zameer doesnt accept that, they have taken it..i agree vasundra was given one more chance and elimination was stopped, that shud not have happened..but that has nothing to do with amir’s elimination, there were 5 kids that time and same votes were carried over next week…comaprng amir with tanmay, i think amir is better singer but tanmay is very good learner and improvizer..but i dont think zee tv will do any kind of rigging in kids show..personally i wud think anamika, rohan preet and amir are top 3..but if somebody has lost because of format, then one shud accept it..what Sonu Nigam said in the end and in front of ustaad Khan, that was right..jis thali mein khate ho usmein ched nahi karna cahiye..they shud have protested no doubt saying that we dot accept this result but not in the manner in which they did..by comparing this result with amanat ali and mussarat and raja and saying these shows are rigged, they did so wrong..i hope this doesnt affect bright future of amir and god bless him..

To Me. Both the Judges and the family of Aamir are wrong. From the judges point of view, I would say they have been very negative about Aamir’s singing for the last 3 weeks, Which bias voters.
From Amir’s family point of view they are wrong for abusing and humuliating the show.
I mean think of the poor kid, who bloody sang his heart out! He didnt even get to say thanks and farewell to his friends. He is gona be so influenced by his family that he will totally jugde right as wrong and wrong as right. I don’t care if zee tv is playing tricks or not! I just dont think it is right to 1st tell a background of a poor family on the show and get some sympathy votes and 2nd to say that they have been earning so much money thanks to the show!

Judges & Zee TV are running this show. Judges did not want to see Amir in top 3. This was so obvious from their comments & behavior. Judges were fair till top 6 after that judges started showing very clearly their favorites.Judges are so pathetic.
Amir is out but whoever watched this show knows that he is very talented at this age.Other people will give him chance.
Amir” family was right in telling judges & Zee TV that it is all set up & they are fooling public.Somebody had guts to say that on Nationl TV.Amir is better than other singers in top 3.Sonu & Suresh Wadkar are so unprofessional. Sonu’s comments to Amir’s family was really out of line. Amir’s family couldn’t effort to spend money on collecting votes like Loria’s Dad. Atleast everyone knows that Amir came so far on his talent ONLY. If voting counts.

What is right or what is wrong? No one knows. Its not good to assume lots of things BUT one thing is for sure AAMIR future had been ruined! And I hate this fact… I hate to see an innccent child suffer for what he has not done and for he is too young to understand. He is surely gona be abused and bullied by his friends and society…. Aamir’s family members are simple and lovely village folk. They are not hypocritical middle class who feel something and say something else. We should sympathize with them.
We must understand that Zee is doing business. They want to create controversy for their TRP rating which give them higher advertisement returns. By eliminating the obvious, no controversy can be created. So there you see. Zee does not give a damn that there may be misunderstanding that our countrymen are discriminated due to their religion.
Sonu Nigam is a talented person. He is not educated in the truest sense. He implied that if you are poor and you are given money and a plate of food you can be treated any whatever way. His comments were highly insulting and break all decorum. Wonder if Suresh Wadkar will be any different.
At the age of 10, Aamir is a great talent, probably can surpass Sonu or Suresh in the future. Aamir’s elimination created the greatest controversy (to Zee’s advantage ironically) proving that Aamir is the best. (And none other than Aamir can come at par with Voice of India kids.)
Finally, the more we write in this blog, we increase Zee TV’s advertising rates and financial gain.

The vote count eliminate’s amir then so be it….ppl its just a game please don’t incorporate these touchy issues of race and religious creed into this. They’re all just kids and its part of the game that someone has to get eliminated. I think Amir should have been eliminated a long time ago but because Sonu Nigam and Suresh Wadkar had a soft spot for him , they let him continus. I mean come on ppl are you all forgetting that in 2 consecutive shows amir forgot the lines to his song, where was the uproar then when they let him continue on and eliminated other children. This is a talent show so judge the participants on their own merit, do not insinuate this sort of hateful and prejudice dialog into such an innocent show. Everyone commenting here trying to how much project hate and how corrupt and discriminative the show is should really be ashamed of themselves.
Amir beta your a good singer no doubt but you have a improve on a few things just like the judges have said. hey all, i am glad to see the stance that aamir’s family has taken. finally someone showed some guts as ammirs elimination is trully riggerd. how can aamir go from being on the top in the previous week to getting eliminated. ALso what sonu said was ablsoluletly wrong, he had no right to make those remarks about the family getting the money. It’s Zee TV and sonu who are making money off great singers like aamir.For me i only watched the show cause of aamir’s great singing. and wont be watching it no more.
I was completely shocked by the reaction of amirs family. The kids are more mature than adults. They accept their loss. Also, it isnt as if he has lost, Amir will be recognized from this show. He already has been by singing for the movie Bhoothnath. The judges are fair. If someone doesnt sing their best the judges tell them. This is a singing competition, just because they are kids it does not mean they should tell them they sang well when they didnt. If they are told about their mistakes they can improve upon them. Regarding the elimination, the parents were asked if they had a problem of not having eliminations, no one seemed to have a problem then, so why now? also, everyone has to remember that the audience is voting. i believe the 3 finalists that are chosen are just great. Everyone has their own opinions and this is just mine.

being from Bhopal I know, What Aamir’s Family did was not good for sure i know that. But thats how bhopalis are, they speak their heart out… if they are angry they will say whatever ..I know, when their anger will get over they will regret. BUT WHATEVER THEY SAID WAS TRUE (told in a wrong way though). i starter hating sONU after this episode. HE (sonu) was speaking as if he gave money or fame to AAMIR… mr. Sonu U should be thankful to aamir for giving the quality to the show.

Hi Everybody! We are very upset to see Amir being eliminated from the show. Zee tv didn’t do a good job after all. Top of that Mr. Sonu did the most stupid thing by saying such things against Amir’s family. People love Amir and they sent money for Amir. It shouldn’t concern Sonu at all. He shouldn’t be jelous about that. After all Sonu is just a good singer. He is not Mr. Rafi. He can’t be Mr. Rafi even if tried for thousand years. Mr. Sonu should be eliminated from the position of a judge. Obviously he is not capable of being a judge. He should also apologize infront of everybody in the next show. That’s all I have to say.

First of all, I’d like to start off by saying Amir was the REASON my parents and I watched this show every weekend. It was disheartening to see little Amir continually be picked on by those biased judges after his brilliant performances. It seemed like no matter what Amir did….the judges could not even offer him a line of support, yet other contestants who delivered the most mediocre efforts somehow received an A+. I really wish Amir’s brother had not become so upset, but I am really disgusted at the way Zee TV edited the whole situation and how baseless and pathetic Sonu’s comments were.
Anyways, Amir, we are all your biggest fans! You are a wonderful singer and very sweet boy and I know if you keep up the hard work your will surely go places. I wish you all the best, and am looking forward to hearing about your success in the future! God Bless You!
RS….from Canada, I strongly agree that Amir shouldn’t have been eliminated. I beleive the judges influenced the voters by their comments. I am against Suresh Wadkar, who used to discourage Amir in every performance. Anyone could see that he did not like Amir, he was not even listening to Amir when he used to sing. Amir chose the most difficult songs and sang perfectly well. People should remember he is a kid. Judges are expecting perfection from kids. Were they singing perfectly when they were his age? Rohan is not at all a good singer, he is very mediocre and sings only punjabi songs. he is not versatile. Tanmay is too kiddish, and a joker! Anamika is too old for this show. So only singer who was deserving was Amir. I am sure the judges’ discouraging comments every time he sang has definitely affected the kid’s morale. Judges should know this for god’s sake! I feel sorry for Amir for the way his family behaved. Hope this behaviour does not affect the child’s future as a singer. I have stopped watching this show since Amir was eliminated. It is a waste of my time. I pray and hope Amir does well in the future.
I think it’s all part of the Zee TRP gathering strategy. Did you notice the flashing scenes when Amir’s brother was reacting (a la K-serials).
And they could’ve easily edited the ugly stuff out, but they need the ad-money and the more controversy there is the more money they get.
Ever since the SMS voting craze started, this has been the format-Get one candidate from each region/religion. Then expect people to vote on these lines.I wish this stops. This only creates more hatred between people.
PS: I regret Amir’s family’s reaction , but you can’t expect more from the lower economic strata of the society.
Sonu mentioned how much Amir earned due to Zee but failed to mention how much Zee is making because of these kids.

I am really dissappointed with Zee Tv and the Judges.
Amir’s family did the right thing and should have slapped the judges as well…they were extremely rude to Amir who is 10 but tanmay who is 12 gets treated like a lil kid and i cant beleive they picked Tanmay’s singing over Amir!!! He was the only singer of Saregama. he was flawless in yesterday’s episode. Judges are biased and need to be removed from the show for treating Amir like that for past 4-5 weeks.

I can totally understand Amir and his family’s feelings, as he was doing very well until now, that he’s been emiminated. I must admit I could sense this coming for some weeks now, because although Amir was singing very well, both judges, that is Suresh and Sonu Nigam kept on showing him down, or shall we say when they gave Amir feedback it was that lengthy and negative, it was bound to stay fresh on the publics mind. However, having said this, I also feel that neither Sonu or Aditya had any right to make personal remarks which reflected or highlighted Amir’s and his family’s personal status. totally unprofessional! In respect of the deserving winner, I do believe that Anamika is singing well, although at the same time I just can’t believe that if she wins, then this will be the 5th consecutive show, where the Bengalis are taking the awards. First Debojit, then ujjaini, then sanchita, then aneek and now Anamika!Concidence…eh?
But I can also undertand people raising questions re muslim contestants getting voted out nearer to the finals, despite being in the top 3 rankings until the finals? there seems to be no continuum and this is why viewers are getting frustrated.
I definitley do think that ZEE fiddle around with the votes, and think its about time and independant panel sits and has these votes accounted for….after all…its our mobiles that get billed!
The Besharmiya tag is something that I don’t use loosely. In my book, it is reserved for the ultimate besharams, the biggest shameless creatures in town. And sadly enough, Mr Sonu Nigam (or Niigaam, as he spells himself) now falls into this category now. And it all has to do with his remarks on the Saregamapa Lil Champs show tonight when Amir Hafeez was eliminated.
I am not debating Amir Hafeez’s elimination. He might have deserved to go through, he might not have. That isn’t the point I am making. But I am looking at why was all the drama when Amir’s family spoke about against Zee was given so much attention.
Supporters or families of those eliminated have blurted out things before. Abhijit Kosambi’s family did that before. But this time, why was footage from outside the studios so prominently put across on Friday night? Forget all that. Why was there a media leak that something controversial had happened on the show released earlier? And a media leak through Indya.com? The Zee chamchas who selectively leak information to boost controversies and TRPs? These were the very guys who spread the Independence Day controversy news last time. And Zee and Sonu Nigam have used the very source yet again.
So, why all this Sare-Drama-Ma-Pa? The answer is simple. Get a hype that something controversial is about to happen on Friday night. And when you get the viewership, use the opportunity to release a Sonu Nigam album. So, dear Sonu Nigam and Zee, you have manipulated a kid’s talent and his family just to manufacture a controversy – so that a stupid album where you look like clown in Julius Ceaser’s attire is a success? How different are you from Himesh Besharmiya – the man you make fun of twice a week?
But the Thali-mein-ched remark from Sonu Nigam is what upsets me the most. What was that about? Were you making a taunt at Himesh and Ismail Darbar who poked holes into Zee’s integrity after getting their pay checks? Or was that saying Amir’s family shouldn’t blame a channel of unfair results just because they have got them the money?
If it is the latter, Mr.Nigam surely has to be elevated to the Besharmiya clan. I have always had a serious problem with the Indian mentality where people have to be thankful to employers for paying them. That’s a load of bullshit. I have always thought – that an employer has never done any favour to an employee. And vice versa. The point is – Zee has used a five year old kid to mint money. They have used a minor’s talent to build TRPs, gain sponsorships and make money. Amir has earned what he deserves. Every single paisa. There are no favours, no free lunches in today’s world. And since when has a money-minded company like Zee turned so generous that it has offered help to a poor family. The fact is, Zee exploited Amir’s family, used it for Sonu Nigam’s gains (read his new album launch) and dumped them when they found no further use.
Can Zee and Sonu Nigam deny the fact that they have gained more from Saregamapa contestants than the other way around? People like Raja Hasan and Aneek Dhar work for shows for almost nothing – they travel like maniacs across the world, putting in shows without a break. They have even risked their lives (remember the accident?). And yet, are they paid anything substantial? For Heaven’s sake, don’t give us the Thali-mein-ched crap, Mr.Nigam. Keep that to yourself.
In the end, however hard Sonu Nigam might try to defend Zee, the fact is – Zee manipulations is something people now thoroughly understand. Not without reason that we heard Amir’s family uttering Raja Hasan and Amanat’s names in their angry remarks. Nobody buys Zee theories anymore. And sadly for Zee, people who have been through this before, no longer vote anymore.
It is important to note that last time, Raja Hasan and his family accepted the verdict gracefully – even though they knew that the results were rigged. But what Zee doesn’t understand that not everybody is a Raja. Not everyone will remain humble, polite and accept injustice. If they thought Raja kept quiet, so will Amir’s family, they have possibly miscalculated.
Sadly for Zee, Not everyone is a Raja who will forgive and forget. There will be Amanats who have broken your contracts. And there will be Amirs who’ll raise their voices.
And finally, Mr.Sonu “Besharmiya” Nigam – no sane person will buy an album that uses a child’s reputation for its publicity.
by the way did anyone notice that nothing inflammatory was said inside around the stage, but the cameras did not stop there ,why did they follow them out. amirz family did not cross boundries, dont forget amirz brother first thanked zee. he had all right to say anything he wanted. he didnt wanted to say inside , that is why he got up and left so that it would not go on camera but zee followed them out just because they wanted to promote it… this is just ridiculos.. i hate zee.. i would never watch this show again itz all made up.. lastly what the hell was sonu saying..he had no right to say anything.. amir was picked on by both the judges. this is just shameless. i hate sonu.. whatever i chould understand from sonuz comment was that poor people don’t have any right to voice their opinion?.. oh bythway sonuu if u have guts you should have said in front of amirz family. why bullshitting after they left.. oh comon this is utter nonsense. and also notice there were some parts of amirz brother that was just shown but not heard. zee only showed what they wanted to show..no more zee for me..

The cheap behaviour of Amir’s family was very shameful…I was really shocked to hear the racial comments made by Amir’s father. They even insulted Ustaad Khan Sahab…Shit, what a shame!! I was thinking of offering some financial support to Amir, but looking at the way his family behaved, I am not going to offer any support what so ever to them. Such immature and narrow minded people DO NOT deserve any sympathy.

If a hindu got eliminated instead of a Pakistani Muslim , it was all fine . No body even gave a thought about it. I think Sonu is brave and honest to say it on Naitional TV. Every word he said is right and justified.

I am very happy to see that Zee tv had allowed participants from all backgrounds to be allowed to enter the ‘Lil Champs’ competition.
But it is not a surprise to me to see the way that Amir was voted out.
I am 100% with Amir’s families disgust at Zee TV’s voting strategies. It’s kind of strange to see that the top two participents position were exactly the same as their international positions. But the only one to change was Amirs.
I am very very disgusted at the fact of Sonu Nigam’s personal attack on Amir’s family financial status. I think Amir has made money via these means, but he also has generated alot of revenue for Zee tv from his fan following.
Sonu Nigam needs to start concentrating more on judging his singers, then what they earn. This is the second time he has shocked me. First time in his acting (bcoz he can’t act) second this.
I hope he doesn’t make anymore mistakes as he will lose support in the UK as well as the world.
Finally as for Amanat, Raja, and Mussarat, tough luck guys. In a true singing competition where talent is judged fairly, you would have taken the title.

we blame the illiteracy for Amir’s family’s behavior but what is the reason for sonu’s remarks? he is worse than Amir’s family then. He has no class what so ever i think HR is better than him as he never talked smack abt others behind their back, and i am not even a fan of HR.
Couple of months ago a news aired on Tv where Sonu was accusing this reporter of harrassing him and supposedly that reporter was gay and in love with sonu nigam-or that is what sonu claims. then the next day reporter said i actually wrote an article on sonu where i said that sonu is losing his charm and that himesh is the new sensation, and that sonu sings via his nose. That pissed sonu and he said that i am gay so when sonu was asked via phone interview on the news if this was true? Sonu said oh yes! this reporter was my biggest fan and now he is saying i sing thru my nose! i dont sing thru my nose! so the person interviewing sonu said, sonu jee its just an opinion. So sonu got so pissed started saying ok if thats an opinion then i will say sharukh khan is a negro and that is my opinion and it isnt wrong cuz its my opinion. the point is this, does this show class to any of u? and if YOUR opinion is always right even even if u act like a fool on tv and drag sharukh khan in it to prove your ridiculous points then i guess Amir’s family can raise their opinion too and guess what they got illiteracy as their alibi, but whats sonu’s or is just to have a last word in anything and everything? its looks more like a sonu nigam show than a lil champ show.
Lastly, i would like to say that Zee should not promote where the child is from but rather promote talent. Everytime they call a kid on stage they have to say where the kid is from in every single episode and if that isnt enough they flash it again on the screen. Dont give children’s last names and dont tell which city they are from. that is the only way you promote real talent.

It is not justifiable but when ppl are angry they say things which they would not say normally. Amir’s family raise a point and they do not want to create more scence so they walked out the stage but I do not understand why zee camera crew follow them outside backstage and record without their(Amir’s family) knowledge. Sonuji said Amir has earned so much money, I like to know how much money and who gave to him. It was mentioned that someone from US/Can wants to bear Amir’s education expenses but was it materiizes or not we do not know. I doubted though. If Amir’s family have got that much of money they wont be saying what he said at the begining of the show.

I’m sure ZEE TV paid AMIR’s Family a lot of money to do the drama. They had nothing to lose, but gain publicity.
Amir is definitely a good singer. But all competitions are that way! Its that day’s performance that counts. However good a singer is, if he cant perform well on that day he will be out. Sonu’s comments were true. Amir’s initial performances were too good compared to later ones. He chose simple songs later…Reality shows are this way…every audience is different. One likes classical based singers, one likes versatile singers who are better at performance. So its luck too. Amir’s family could have mentioned 2 lines about his potential but they shouldnt walk out that way. Children and their parents should be prepared for both positive and negatives when they come to participate in a reality show. I felt Amir’s innoncent in his later performances was gone. Maybe because of the prize amount..I felt he became a lot more responsible kinds…as though if he wins, somehow he can help his family…that kind of pressure was there on him…not that his parents put such a pressure..but its natural for the kid to feel it…I think Sonu was the one who tried telling people Amir should not go…he is a good singer and thats when Amir started getting votes…so judges shouldnt be blamed…Its all luck..we have to take it…i know its difficult to come to the last stage and lose especially when you are deserving but Poonam too lost like this right…she too was so good…Anyways, all the best Amir. then the judges..there might be times where you can feel that aamir didnt sing well..but the last 4 weeks..he was AWSOME!
and when rohanpreet sanf not so gud,it was ok..but if aamir sang not so well it was liek the judges became angry. I rem i reacted on sonus reacon when he told aamir that the other children n pointed at them so aamir naturally looked the other participents..sony became so angry..bata nahin sunni..mein fazool bol raha hoon..i think it wa slast week and this behaviour towards a child is disgusting1!!!!!

What Aamir’s brother did was uncivilized but what Sonu said was unethical. His brother was man enough to stand up in front of everyone and spoke his heart out. Sonu – the sly fox took the advantage of situation and tried to tarnish the image of his family by using such nasty words… thali mai chaid. If Aamir has received money from someone that’s between him and that person, who the hell Sonu is to talk about that?
What Aamir’s family did was not correct or justifiable. They reacted because Aamir got eliminated… obviously they were emotional but why Sonu responded the way he did? Aamir by stayed calm, tried to stop anchor and his family – bravo! Whatta mature person. I also admire the guest Ustaad Amjad who criticized Aamir’s family with such dignity. Suresh stayed quiet, which was perhaps better than saying something awful about a little boy’s poor family… totally disgusting.
Finally – for those who thinks that cancelling the elimination round did not influence Aamir’s elimination… use your brain, if you have one. 2 weeks ago when elimination was supposed to take place, Aamir had ¼ chances (assuming one person gone and 4 left) but by cancelling that elimination round that week, his chances were decreased to 1/5. Obviously it impacted Tanmay too. The next week, Aamir was on top. Assuming Vasu had gone a week before, the bottom two would have been Rohan or Tanmay… Aaamir would have been safe.
OKAY – NOW I ASK A QUESTION TO EVERY ONE OF YOU. Please put your hand on your heart and tell me: “didn’t Sonu in his new music video look like Britney Spears’ pregnant sister?” He should be thankful to Aamir’s family that people are talking about their behavior and not his pregnant belly.

Aameer should not be out, it is just absolutly wrong with him. He is just mind blowing singer, nobody has such powerful voice as like as his. Everybody just sing but the Ameer doesn’t just sing his song plays in peoples ear after he sings. Its like “Rooh ka ander se uska gaana ataa hai and just keep listening”. I can not agree with the change of format after starting the competition. Sometime they make wild card entry and sometime they do not eliminate people, its like rubish and naked try to save their favor contestant. At the end of competition they don’t judge the voice they think their business, which contestant make their add or campaign. Not only Zee but also and others Channel following the same thing, when their favor contestant out they try to save them by many way, which shouldn’t be a contestant rules.
Rohan puttar and Anamika also sings very well specially Anamika is fabulous.

I think its important to realize that this show was supposed to be a competition from the beginning, meaning someone was going to lose or win..of course its hard to see your child or favorite contestant go..but everyone should have, at the least, understood that elimination was a possibility. This particular elimination was harder to get over because of the parents/family reaction…Amir’s brother should’ve said something the day that Rohan and Vasundhara were in the bottom…the truth is that if it was Anamika and Amir in the bottom that day, they would’ve been saved too (Thats the kind of person Suresh Wadkar is, he isnt the complete racist, idiot you all seem to think he is)…If you think Rohan is a mediocre and non- versatile singer then maybe you should watch his performances of “Sai baba bolo..” and “Sawan Beeto..” neither are Punjabi songs, and one of em’ is about as classical as they get on this show..he deserves to be there PERIOD. Sonu Nigam knows what hes talking about, he’s not a politician, hes one of the most versatile singers we have right now who absolutely idolizes Mohd. Rafi sahb when everyone else around him wont stop praising Kishore Da..he had the right to be mad. He actually, for some weird reason, expected better and more understanding behavior from these people. He’s right the only good thing that came out of this fiasco, is that Amir showed his maturity and intelligence..he’s a good kid, I hope his parents don;t fill him with hatred.

I dont understnad why people are upset about judges comments judges didnot say anything wrong, infact in one episode he was about to be eliminated then after sonu putforth about his family background he started getting votes and he came this far, it is a fact that all the top 10 are very good singers,but now it is about popularity not about singing and why people are comapring tanmay with amir? tanmay is second last that means he is not very popular.
and lastly how much they would get if they win this contest?? he got all the money he needed.

Though Amir’s family had no right to question after two episodes, the family tried to complain how Amir had to suffer. There was mathematical impact on the result by extending one episode by not eliminating one of the contestants from Raturi and Rohan Preet. Amir was first in the gathered voting of two episodes. He was second in previous episode. So, if elimination was as per the routine format, Amir was already in the final three contestants. The Sonu Nigam’s comments when Amir was first “Soch samaj kar vote dijiye” was fingerpointing while the judges last three episode comments on Amir was negative. Judges found inconsistant as at one time they recognise Amir as very good singer and at the last three episode comments , as if Amir was a dull. Strange! when their favourite is very near to last three.
WHAT I FIND REALLY FRUSTERATING IS HOW MEDIOCRE PERFORMANCES GOT A+ FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKS AND ALTHOUGH THEY HAD FLAWS, SONU AND SURESH DONT POINT THEM OUT. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO AMIR, THE SMALL MISTAKES ARE NOT FORGIVEN LIKE THE OTHER KIDS’ ARE. FURTHERMORE, HE IS DISCOURAGED WEEK AFTER WEEK FOR THE TINIEST DETAILS AND HIS MINDBLOWING SINGING IS COMPLETELY DISREGARDED. HE WAS GIVEN VERY LITTLE OR NO POSITIVE FEEDBACK AT ALL – AND HENCE HIS SINGING BECAME PROGRESSIVELY WEAKER. THEY ALSO INITIATE WHAT I’LL CALL ‘CUTE TALK’ WITH THE OTHER KIDS THAT DISTRACTS THE PUBLIC FROM THE MEDIOCRE PERFORMANCE SO THAT ITS NO LONGER THE SINGING, BUT THE CHARISMA A CHILD EXUDES ON STAGE THAT DETERMINES HIS/HER FATE IN THE VOTES.
LASTLY, WHY DID SONU SCOLD AMIR FOR NOT MAKING EYE CONTACT WITH HIM. OBVIOUSLY IF SONU LOOKED OVER AT THE OTHER KIDS, AMIR WOULD DO THE SAME!!.. AMIR THOUGHT HE WAS ADDRESSING ALL THE KIDS SITTING DOWN SO HE LOOKED AWAY.

Its interesting that you mentioned the US elections. Sorry to give you a little insight and dishearten you enthusiasm. Every word any of the presidential candidates say (it makes no difference whether Democrat or Republican) has been paid for by one lobbyist or another. Bottom-line politics of money plays the game. With 25+ years in US I know this little too well.
This brings up a very important point – even the kids are not spared from the same type of money politics and it comes in all shapes & sizes, even voting – select the winner thru public votes. So, a talent search contest has now become perfect platform for playing money politics.
It does not matter that Anamika is by far the best of the bunch by stretch of any standard – yet she in 3rd rank and both Vasudhara and Amir have been eliminated. Two of the most talented singers are now gone – not by their lack of musical talents – but by the dark forces of the money politics that just has more power as “Power-lifters”. Who on earth would vote for Rohan or even Tanmay over Anamika, Vasundhara or Amir, and if they do – they are either deaf or dumb, or simple been won over by the dark side.
Also, I had a lot of respect for both Sonu and Sureshji. To see such stalwarts of Indian music – have completely sold themselves to the evils of money politics and such injustice to little kids is beyond comprehension.
I strongly object to your contention that voting is only based on state / community / language. I am from Panjab, and will probably not be able to speak a single proper sentence in Bengali or Assamese – yet I believe that Anamika is the best we now have. Off course I will support Rohan – but given a choice I will most certainly vote for Anamika. She is simply the best of the 3.
@Sam Singh. What you have written here is wonderful. Hats off to your maturity and thinking. I too agree with you. It is very sad to see that our so-called music legends have been sold out. And it is even worse that we have many folks out there who think that what zee is doing is right and what Sonu had said about Aamir’s family was not wrong.
Amir’s family is known to be illiterate. So, they could not tell the story of mathematical impact in a proper way to make the judges feel about the mistake they committed by extending one episode and gathering votes of two episode. Amir’s brother tried to tell the thing quite sincerely in the beginning. But the host Adi commented in a rude manner. Then Amir’s brother was becoming more upset and the drama took place. How can the judges expect from the winner to agree to extend one more episode? They sowed courtesy for two reasons. (1)They thought it would give wrong message to the voters due to not agreeing the judges. (2)The judges would give bad comments in future. So, the judges should understand this. Within seconds, it is hard to decide by the contestants to agree about extending one episode. Losers can agree immediately. public voting is just like a lottery. Can it be right to say the winner of a lottery to agree upon for the next draw and canceling the winning result? In Amir’s case the mathematical calculation was such that if elimination from Raturi or Rohan was made as per scheduled format, Amir was second in that round and hence winner. In the next gathered voting, he was first in a voting. So, he was already within last three contestant. So, he was deprived of his third already gained position. Amir’s familt is apoor. They lost 10 lakh rupees. They can be angry. But the way host Adi and judge Sonu Nigam commented was very rude as he personnally attacked. Personnal comments of praise is always a good thing but personnel attack is very bad… very bad. Sony lost his respect from many people. Amir’s family is illiterate. Why? Sachar committee report is available. The Muslims are suffere in India. They contain about 20 per cent population of the country. In a democracy, the fruits of democracy must be shared according to population in every respect like education, employment, parliament seats, assembly seats. Now everybody can see, how many percentage sharing muslims have in parliament,assemblies, employment etc. So, if Amir’s family is illiterate, Govt. of India and State governments are responsible. The muslim suffer all these. So, nothing wrong if in an angry mood, such thing comes out. The truth is coming out.
Simply best Comments @Sam Singh, I totally agree with you. The best talented singer is out from the show, who is Amir, who could be the year best search talent of the country through this show, But we still hope for Anamika. God knows what happen.

This is the common problem with these muslims. Sonu was right in saying “Jis thali mein khate hai usi mein ched karte hai”. The fault was totally on Amir’s family who have ruined their son’s future. I would say they are not to be blamed, its in the muslim blood that makes them behave like this. If you cannot accept defeat then why do you bring your child in a competition. They know that winners will be decided on public votings and public voted for Tanmay so why to fight now. If Tanmay would have been eliminated, his family would have never created any scene because they are civilized people.

This whole episode leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
All these kids are very talented. Some of the kids in previous episodes took in such great sporting support when they were eliminated. Even their parents were very sportive.
This is just a show, every episode some one has to be eliminated. And, this is not a matter of life and death.
Also, it is not correct to raise a minority issue every time there is a less favorable result. If one minority candidate has been eliminated, haven’t 10X of majority candidates not eliminated?
Grown ups should behave as grown ups. It is challenging to accept elimination at this stage of the competition, but please broaden your perspective.
Amir has a bright future ahead, and so do others who have been eliminated. These kids are all celebrities at such young age. Take the positives out of it and move on.
Life is much bigger than one competition.
