I have one question.
Compared to last year’s lil champs, are the contestants below standard in singing?
Last year we had Sanchita, Sammer, Diwakar, Pawni, Abhrokanti, all of them extremely talented.
What do you folks think?

Yes Mr. Ashok, I am in agreement with you as far as vulgurity in the kids shows is concerned. Kids should be given old melodic songs that dewelops their singing ability and every one can easily make out who is singing better. They deliberately go for new songs so that they can hide their weaknesses in the background of loud, bombarding music. I am in favour of keeping kids from international arena in the show for at least 4-5 rounds and we should encourage them to sing old melodious songs.

I read some of these posts and differ in my opinion. I think India is a secular country and has a very rich civilization. If you look at our ancient times..these kind of clothes were very common. In fact our temples and old scriptures contain images which celebrate the act of union and do not vilify it like other cultures do, specially ones in Middle East and so called “Muslim countries”.

Dancing and Singing has been a part of our culture and also used to please the Gods. Its the advent of muslim rule in India which started using these forms of self expression for ayashi and vulgar purposes. Kathak and Kheyal were made to sit in the Kothas for the entertainment of drunk nawabs.

As long as the parents of modern day India have no problems with this..I would say more power to the kids and to the parents.

Next week when the paki’s kids come , it would be interesting to see if Zee can make them do all this. If the Paki kids cannot do this they would lose in the first round itself Amanat danced, I expect the paki kids also to dance..and yes sing these kind of sexy songs.

sa re ga ma pa’s new little champs program raises some fundamental ethical questions. These very little kids, some as yung as 7-8 years old, are singing very sexy, vulgur, and adult type filmi songs with sexy dances, poses, and expressions. Not only that, in the background, other little kids are doing cabret type vulgar dances in sexy clothes. This is very shameful to indian culture. I am surprised that indian people are not noticing this vulgarity. Something should be done to stop this nonsense from Zee team at the name of entertainment and making money (thru voting system). Somehow Zee TV should be told about this vulgar program. I would like hear views from other readers on this issue.

silly of paks to send their kids.
Dont waste your time & money and stop emotionally torturing your kids.
With due respect to Sonu Ji and Wadkar sahab and we love u a lot and we will keep supporting you in your private concerts.
Mr Himesh ( the most unsophisticated ) person on this earth has destroyed the calibre of this programme. Unless you bring back Gajandra Singh And Ask Besharm to apologise, Most of the people have no intrest in zee.
Just take your money and run zee.. You dont believe in Talent.
