  3) the 7 seven finalist who are voted out: No comments on them as they were good but there personna somehow lacked public appreciation.

  4) Raja : You were the best when you sang :”mere zindagi ek pyas”–the very first song of your finals when you were in eklavya.
  After that, somehow you started singing songs of “Kailash Kher and Sunkwinder Singh”. I understand that you should try to sing those songs only which Suits your voice but then at least try to do justice to what you sing. Most of the times,believe me, if people go and relook at your performance, where you tried to sing the song where you could sing upto best of your caliber, mussarat defeats you by a margin.Mussarat was commented a lot about being sterotyped but I think it is rajs who even after being stereotyped is unable to perform.

  5) Aneek: as already said by someone elsem emulating Sony Nigam. No further comments !!!

  6) sixth and the last comment, Amanat: I salute you for this last performance where you “most likely” moved all the hearts who got the chance to witness ” tujhse naraz nahi zindagi “. I am a computer Scientist and if some one believes in me I am voting only for Amanat throguh Internet voting and the count has surpassed 1000 at the least.

The first and second times he sang, he was superb…and the second time where everyone came up on the stage (without anybody telling them to, mind you…not the case for Raja or Aneek)and began dancing like drunken monkeys, he continued to sing on sur. Where as Aneek was somewhat distracted by Dia Mirza and the 10+ random girls that came on stage and Raja couldn’t resist the urge to dance (that too with Mika the Monkey. Ugh).

  But the last performance; my god. God bless Amanat. Not only did he sing perfectly on sur, but the emotion that radiated in this voice, expressed themselves on his face; he was truly singing from the heart and I had to shed a few tears. My parents, who I don’t think are die-hard Amanat fans, rewinded the performance to watch it again (and I shed tears the second time too). He really touched a lot of hearts worldwide, and that is the mark of a true singer.

  He was really serious about what he was doing today. Usually he is a bit more lively, and smiling and everything but today he was dead set on what he had to do and he NAILED it. Honestly, I don’t care who wins the damn competition because Amanat is too good for SRGMP anyway, and has already won. Love you, man. (I’m sure I don’t stand alone when I say this).

  One thing that sort of puzzles me is how little they promote Amanat in comparison to Aneek and Raja. HR is in love with Aneek to the extent that one could call him gay, and V&S always are eager to call people onto the stage or get Raja to repeat his performance. Amanat has neither of this going for him; ID barely promotes him. I’m not sure how to feel about this; I’m glad that Amanat doesn’t need to resort to cheap tactics to gain votes, but at the same time I can’t help but feel frustrated at the lack of enthusiasm for Amanat.
  I suppose it shouldn’t matter; he’s a top-notch singer as well as a very humble human being. But I just get the feeling that the lack of such tactics may be his downfall…

  Moving onto another topic; what the heck was with all those guests? Why did they bring do damn many? I’m surprised the stage didn’t break when they all were standing there. That too, they asked for opinions from basically every single one of them. They took up more time talking than the contestants did singing.

  And did anybody notice at the end where they called up V&S, ID, Amanat, Aneek and Raja on the stage to release the new music album. BUT they didn’t call HR! To add insult to injury, he went on to say that V&S and ID were the BEST music directors in the industry. I admit I laughed that they omitted HR from the thing altogether.

  Bottom line(s):
  - Mika should be banned from ever showing his ugly face on stage again. His face itself violates the law.
  - Amanat is totally underrated, hype-wise. But after the sheer focus and ability he demonstrated today, he deserves to go places.
  - 22 guests is overkill.
  - Now HR knows what it feels like to be ignored.

  AMANAT is amanat ..though i love mussarath but Amanat is far above this competation …

  I just hope this cool dude wins the challenge since he already won most of viewers heart … but this is zee tv india drama and melodrama …

  My first and last comment about the entire series. I have thoroughly enjoyed like many of you have. This is what I feel about the 3 singers:

  Raja – Definitely the raja as he can really charm the audience with this rugged singing. Not very versatile though. But a good singer. Has come up with quite a few kickass performances.

  Aneek – Very difficult to spot out wrong notes in his singing but I somehow dont like the overhype thats created for him. But a terrific singer without a doubt. He is my mom’s favorite!

  Amanat – My favorite from the time he sang, “Saawan beetho jaaye peharwa”. Extremely talented and humble .When he said yesterday – “Meri aukad se zyaada praise mila hain” or something to that effect, it summarized the whole thing. Like others said, he is the least hyped and I like ID for that coz’ he believes in true singing and even reprimanded Amanat for the way he sang Saawariya. I think and hope the public truly understands the genuine class of this guy and people vote for him .Finally, with “Tujhse Naraaz nahin”, he brought the entire house down with an absolutely “soul blowing” rendition (completely eclipsing the not so good behavior of one of the guests). A perfect end to the entire season I think. And I have never seen Amanat so emotional as well ! Dude, you rock !!!

  This site was great as I got to watch the performances when I was travelling as well and had no access to Television.

  After hearing Amanat yesterday in SA RE GA MA PA I had tears in my eyes and when I came to this site I was shocked that SA RE GA MA PA had cut out a collossol part of his performance for viewing by the viewers in the USA and CANADA. I am a man who has been through the years but this kind of conduct by a Responsible channel like ZEE is uncalled for. For all those who love music and understand the essence of music will agree with me that most of the songs being sung on SA RE GA MA PA or VOICE OF INDIA are no MORE THAN A CRAP. I do not blame the singers, it is entirely the fault of MENTORS who are supposed to guide these young participants and ask them to choose songs which can project their strength and not weaknesses. I am also very annoyed with ISMAIL DARBAR for using very derogatory language with AMANAT the other day which was very discouraging. He has to learn a lot from VISHAL and SHEKHAR who, inspite of very poor performance of Raja on the stage, and even poor remarks by other mentors, always back up their own participant through very encouraging remarks. To begin with I had a lot of respect for Himesh Rashmaiyya, but after his unnecessary hype and constantly conflicting voting APPEALS for Raja on the stage, has changed my views to the contrary about his personality. What we tend to forget that God has blessed every one with a brain to understand the performance of every individual and has given the capability to take rational decisions as well.

  Right from day one I always found AMANAT a class apart and far above other contenders. Raja is good and so is our sweet young Aneek but when it comes to singing competition Amanat is superb and ineffably melodious and far above others.
  I pray to GOD ALMIGHTY to give him a very long life and a very long singing career so that he may give a great soothing and sweet music to the music lovers for ages to come. India as a country is fortunate to have him in this competition and the whole credit for that goes to honourable ISMAIL DARBAR who picked him up from DUBAI.

  I would like to request all the music lovers to VOTE FOR AMANAT so that we get a chance to listen to his melodious voice in the days to come.
  Today we all listen to JAGJIT SINGH JI’s gazals because his voice quality is superb and very soothing to ear. It is Music that makes you forget the world around you, and relieves you of all day’s stress, and that is what Amanat’s voice is all about.

  • Sonu is not good; he is outstanding and can’t compare with him. So, try it in your stride. Need to mould his songs in Aneek’s shoes

  Everyone keeps talking about making people cry and the “divinity” that Amanat has….but no one seems to remember Raja’s “Pia Haji Ali” song. That was probably the BEST performance of the ENTIRE season. Having someone see you in the vision of GOD…and having people saying that they were “speechless”…and then actually being speechless is divinity. I love Amanat…he’s a great singer…but don’t make him the WINNER and the BEST DAMN thing that came to the show….don’t forget the past….Raja has had songs that NO ONE will ever be able to touch! So don’t vote solely on the current shows….remember the past as well!

  Yes, you are right in one point. But in another point he sang very average songs too.
  He even was votted out by the Mahagurus once. Those days the guy from Assam (Joy) was singing better than him. Luckily Zee TV introduced Brammastra to give chances to few more people and Raja got in.
  So my friend if you want to see the past performances you have to see those too.

  I have not seen below average performance from Amanat or Aneek.

And even if you were to consider Raja’s old songs as “average”…then you have to give it to him for his ABOVE and BEYOND average performances. He probably has more above average songs then any of the contestants on the show. And all of those above average performances weigh heavily than the average ones. And also, don’t misinterpret my words. My comment was based on peoples reaction to Amanats perfomance making people cry and how people kept talking about his “divinity.” My point was to make people understand that they should not vote SOLELY on what they see in one episode…they should remember the past and choose the contestant that they feel has deserved it throughout the season. I hope that clears things up!

  I am Poonam’s fan. My favorite singers have always been Asha Bhosle and Mohammed Rafi, with Kishore Kumar, a close second. In Poonam I found the voice clarity of Lata Mangeshkar and the thump, bass and versatility of Asha Bhosle. Other than her, I have never favored any other contestant. In one of the interviews, Vishal has said that they are not on the look out for Classical singer, all they want is a performer, an entertainer. When either of them take to stage they go around doing various stunts, which actually affects their stamina, and thus they cannot deliver with proper surs or taal. However, their onstage activity tend to hide whatever deficiency would be there in their rendition of songs. As for Raja, I will, prefer him over Aneek anytime, as he has got a manly voice. Forget about his forgetting the lyrics, its a non issue, because all playback singers look at complete lyrics chart whilst singing, none of them sing by heart. His voice has great thump, proper diction and pronunciation. Compared to Amanat or Aneek he only lacks in sur especially lower notes, as has been pointed out by Shekhar himself numerous times.

  Aneek is also a good singer, makes full use of the stage space, has got good grasp over most of the songs. Sometimes, like Raja, due to being hyper active and unnecessary onstage activity he also tends to affect his sur. What Aneek lack is a manly voice (presently his voice is suitable only for Sachin Tendulkar), lack of emotion or soul (there is no dard in his voice – as he only makes faces, whilst singing without being able to put his soul and emotion into the songs), and not being from hindi speaking belt, his grasp over pronunciation of hindi/urdu words is really weak, diction is also not all that good. He tends to eat words. He is a highly overhyped contestant, a male version of Mauli (though Mauli was worst of all the contestants, and Aneek is a good singer).

I also tried other sources but sadly they also have removed that show or part of the show performed by Amanat TUJH SAY NARAZ. At-last I got it on youtube in 3 parts & I could not control my feelings after watching it. Every time I see it I can not control my emotions. It was one of the best live performances which have ever been made on any stage. Being an Indian, I am ashamed of behavior shown by ZEE or Rediff as they removed this program/performance from their websites. I believe it was done just to hide this performance from world and so he could not get the votes. But can they stop sun from rising? Ismaeel gee made a big difference on Amanat if you see his performances from start to the last episode but it was only possible when Amanat was there with his learning capabilities. I salute Ismaeel gee and Amanat for making this difference on the show. Neither art can be confined into boundaries or languages nor can you stop sun from rising so why have you removed this performance from websites. Ismaeel gee & Amanat! Being an Indian, I m sorry!!!
