Raja Hasan has made a handsome start in his singing career. Even though, he lost in the final, now he is the one who has got maximum offers for playback singing. Raja Hasan has opened his account with a song from album High School Musical 2. The song – the Hindi version of High School Musical 2 is an adapted composition by SEL, with Indian instrumentation. Raja Hasan has sung the song along with Shilpa Rao, Arijit Singh and another debutant Tarannum. The song is called “Aaja Nach Le” and is an adaptation of the “All for one” song from the original English soundtrack.
The album also includes three songs created just for the Indian marketplace, each produced by leading music composer Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and remixed by DJ Suketu. The three inspired songs from Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy include ‘All for one (Aaja Nachle)’, ‘Ud Chale’ and ‘Chhoti Si’ which were sung by Raja Hasan, Shilpa Rao, Shankar Mahadevan, Vishal Dadlani, Raman Mahadevan, Neumon Pinto and others. Music videos of these songs are choreographed by the likes of Bosco-Ceasar.
Apparently, Raja Hasan has got 7 projects in his hand. Raja is recording for Vishal-Shekhar this week for a Shah Rukh Khan movie – and most probably it would be for Ravi Chopra’s Bhootnath. He is also recording for Bappi Lahiri in the movie Tere Sang

In Yesterday’s episode of Saregamapa Little Champs, our beloved judges have chosen seven contestants and selected participants are – Vaishali, Loria, Sagar, Rohit, Barbie, Tanmay and Smita. Today next set of contestants of Saregamapa Little Champs will be performing and seven of them will be selected to make a group of fourteen who will enter into the final round.. So, lets see who all perform and who all get selected..
Green room is shown and all the contestants are putting make up.. Each of them are nervous as today is the elimination episode and say they will do their best..
Aditya greets everyone and also the judges of Little Champs.. He asks Sureshji and Sonu what is their take on today..
Suresh - Today will be more difficult as I have heard such few such talented singers.. Today I am expecting kids to sing much better than yesterday..
Sonu – The level of of singers in this contest is hgih.. After hearing to them singing first time I felt, they are not less than the singers in C2007..

Sonu – I thought you sing well after listening to bhujuria. confidence level is good. Sur kacche hain. work on that
Suresh - Higher notes kamzor hain. If pitching is not correct, then song will not sound right.. So, work on that..
2. Anamika Chaudhry from Assam.. sings pyaar karne waale. Film – Shaan. MD – RD Burman. Singer – Asha Bhonsle
Sonu - Sang well. you also have a cute smile and when you entered, you were with so much confidence and we got attracted towards that.. You will definitely be there in this contest.. Your harkatein were also good..
Aditya says if they like her singing, they can give a munch to her.. So, she gets a munch as she sang well.. Sonu says he would like to give Vibhore a munch as he also sang well..
3. Choti si kanya, Sukanya from Delhi sings waada raha. Film – Khakee. Singer – Arnab Chakravorthy and shreya..
Sonu - In certain places you sang so mature but in certain places you did not get the sur.. no impact.. She says, If I get the opportunity I will do well..
Suresh – If next time you get a chance, dont leave us to talk.. Improve yourself..
4. Saahil Solanki from Hariyana sings akhiyon ko chain na aave. Film – Bandit Queen. MD and singer – Bandit Queen.
Speaks in punjabi.. You always cannot take the laathi (stick) and be serious butyYou need to have a smile on your face and make the stage yours.. If you need a munch, then you need to make this manch (stage) yours and sing..
Aditya says he sings punjabi song also well.. So, Sonu asks him to sing a Punjabi song.. He sings a punjabi song.. Sonu asks what does this means.. He says its a Bidaai song where a Son asks the Mother to smile and send him to inlaws place.. Instead of daughter he says son.. So, Sonu has some fun with him and keeps pulling his legs.. He asks him to correctly say who asks whom.. Then the boy corrects his mistake and says the Daughter asks the mother to smile and send her to her in-laws place..
Suresh – He says you sang well.. Aapne phat de Chakke kardiya.. Here instead of chakde phatte, he mis spells it.. So, the atmosphere is fully filled with laughter and fun..
5. Utkarsha from Indore. sings Sabki baraatein aayi.. Fiom – Janam samjha karo. MD – Anu Malik. Singer – Jaspinder Nirula.
Suresh – Sur ka problem thaa.. It was not sounding good for the ears.. If you go Besur now then, Kansura phir kabhi Sur mein nahin sun sakta..
For this, Sonu gives an example and sings few lines and points out her mistake.. Sureshji says, if you dont improve yourself now, then you will not be able to improve yourself..
6. Rohanpreet from Punjab. Song – Tere bin nahin lagda.. Album – Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
Sonu – Anthra accha gaaya. Mukhda kansura thaa. Suresh – your voice was good and harkatein bhi acchi thi..
7. Harsh Kapoor from Alahabad is a standby contestant from Allahad. He sings Ramta Jogi from Taal. MD – AR Rehman. Singer – Sukhwinder Singh.
Suresh – This is one of my favorite song which has lot of soul and Sukhwinder has sung this with lot of soul in it.. You were good but you did not take certain harkatein and mukhde.. (He sings and gives an example)..
Sonu – Expressions, Sur were good.. Gaayki mein kacchapan hain..
8. Arghya from Omna sings Deedar De from Dus. MD – Vishal shekhar. Singer – Sunidhi.
Sonu – overall it was good.. It could have been better.. Expressions and style were not good.. Sureshji also agrees to him and says – Kuch harkatein sahi nahin lagi..
9. Vasundhra from Delhi. She is physically challenged kid who cannot see.. She sings Kabhi alvida na kehna title song. MD – Shankar ehsaan loy. Singer – Alka and Sonu.
Aditya requests Sonu bhaiyah to sing 2 lines.. Sonu comes on stage and sings along with Vasundra.. He appreciates her and says when God takes away something, he gives something.. Her expressions, Sur everything is good.. Just that Thehrao is less.. But as she improves and gets to know better than us, she will do well..
Suresh - Aapke gaane ki nazar kamaal ki hain. God has gifted you with this voice and singing talent. My Blessings are always with you..
10. Shreya Tripathi from Behrin sings Kajra Mohobbatwaala. Film – Kismat. Singers – Asha Bhonsle and Shamshad Begum.
Sonu - There are lot of harkatein involved in this song.. But you sang an easier version of it.. If you had taken all the harkatein into account, it would have been more difficult for you..
Suresh – Your Sur were not perfect. That is more important and also the feeling is more important..
11. Sayon from Delhi sings In Dino from Metro. He can also play 6 instruments at a time..
Sonu – Our expectations are more from you.. You are singing very well, you have a great voice. Your murkhiyaan, harkatein are so good. But you can do much better..
Aditya says he can also sing Thumri very well.. So, he is asked to sing Ghulam Ali Sahab’s Thumri.. He sings and get appreciation from the judges.
Sonu – After four years, if I am alive, then promise me that you will come to me and sing this thumri properly in front of me.. Classical singers are very less these days.. We dont need singers like me, but like Sureshji who is good in classical music..
13. Shreya Nayak from Mumbai sings Nainoki mat suniyo from Omkara
Sonu - I am ok ok happy.. Sureshji - It was just ok..
14. Aamir Hafeez from Bhopal sings Saawanre from Bandit Queen. MD and singer – Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
Suresh – You sang very very well and salute your teacher for this. He says his teacher is his father. So, Sureshji asks his father to teach him tabla because a singer who is perfect is sur, should also have the knowledge about Taal. He was leaving the Taal. So, its important that you learn that because they both go hand in hand.. I want to give this chocolate to him. So, he gets a munch..
Sonu – Please give applause for Sureshji.. He has pointed it out very well.. To Aamir – you are a very good singer and you are definitely there in the contest..
And finally judges have chosen 7 kids from this lot..and selected contestants are Vibhore, Sahil, Rohanpreet, Vasundhara, Sayon Sen, Anamika and Aamir Hafeez
Today is the 3rd episode for little champs.. The kids are ready to perform and judges are ready to have fun with the kids.. So, lets start this ride..
First Episode on the stage
Contestants are shown putting makeups.. Few of them are saying competition will be tough.. All contestants are singing very well, We dont know what will happen today.. Few of them are also confident enough that they will get through..
The stage is shown.. Its looking lavish.. Contestants are standing on either side of the middle stage on the stairs.. Today is mega entrance test.. Among these contestants 14 will be selected..
The judges are called on stage..
Suresh – It will be touch.. Hope we both will select the 14.. Sonu – Last episode was just an enjoyment episode to have fun with the kids.. The actual episode begins today..
Contestants are grouped into two..
First Group performances:
Vaishali from Bhopal sings Hungama.. film – Anhoni.. Singer – Asha Bhonsle.
Aditya after her performance says – such much hungama kardiya
Sonu – I have a request.. Hope you dont mind.. Because I may not get the opportunity when you grow up and become very famous.. so I want to give you a hug.. Vaishali says I will never let it happen that you go down..
Suresh – First comes sur, then lyrics and then expressions.. Your expressions were mindblowing.. But you had left Sur.. See to it that you make your sur perfect..
Second Contestant:
Surbhi from Rajasthan.. She is a karate Kid.. Sings kabhi neem neem.. Film – Yuva. Singer – Madhushree. MD – AR Rehman..
Suresh - I thought you will select some rough and tough song as you are a karate kid, but you have chosen a soft song.. You have to polish the song.. I feel like becoming a child again..
Sonu - voice quality is good.. you have great potential.. Your sur were much better than Vaishali but comparing your age with her, expectations from you are higher.. The alaap part could have been much better..
Third Contestant -
Loria Doshi from Jaipur sings ranjhnave soniyave mahiya ve.. Film – Taal.. MD – AR Rehman. Singer – Sukhwinder and Richa Sharma..
Sonu - Asks what does loria mean?? Ria mean Lakshmi.. But I myself dont know what it means.. Sonu says then it means LoLakshmi? He then asks how she could be studying in 12th now.. She says after 2nd, i jumped to 10th.. I didnot expect you to sing this well.. you sing faster the tempo.. So, correct that part..
suresh – I dont have anything to say.. Gaane bajaane mein jump nahin maar sakte hain.. Aapne mar diya.. But make sure to go step by step..
Fourth Contestant:
Rupaali from Fijji sings Its Rocking.. Film – Kyaa love story hain. MD – Pritham and singer – Alisha.
Suresh - Sur chod rahi thii.. Mazaa nahin aaya.. Sur ke saath na insafi ho rahi thi.. Work hard
Sonu – I like your style.. Jumps were good.. We need to compare.. no other go.. She is not trained..
Fifth Contestant -
Sagar sings Jaane kya chaahe mann,, Film – pyaar ke side effects. singer – Zubuin. MD – Pritham.
Sonu - attitude is good.. it seems like rock star is performing.. practice the standing notes..
Suresh – Sur ka lagaana important hain.. Asks him have you travelled in plane?? He says no.. Sureshji says – When there is a take off and landing, if the pilot leaves the control, then it will not be a smooth one.. Same way, you while taking notes, you will have to be smooth..
Sixth contestant:
Aamna from Pakistan who has settled in UK. Sings kuch toh hua from Kal ho naa ho. MD – Shankar ehsaan Loy. singer – shaan and gayahtri ganjawala.
Sonu - Asks Are you nervous.. She says a little bit.. She speaks in UK accent.. So, Sonu also tries to speak in that accept and asks do you want a glass of water.. He says there are lot of jumping notes in this song and you had problem singing that.. But as you are performing for the first time, we need to give you benefit of doubt.. Lets see what happens..
Suresh – He gives the example of staircase.. He says if you carefully dont keep each step in the staircase, then you will fall.. So, while taking the notes see to it that wherever there are jumping notes, you sing it carefully and take each and every step instead falling down flat..
7. Smita Nandi from Tripura sings Hare Rama Hare Krishna title song. Singers – Usha Utup and Asha Bhonsle. MD – RD Burman.
Audience shout once more.. Sonu says – I dont mind it.. So, she is asked to perform again..
Sonu – Among all these performances, this was a professional performance.. your voice has lot of potential.. You have both high and low octaves very well.. Keep improving and in every episode you have to sing very well and must not go down in performance..
Suresh – You sang well and this song made me remember the days when this song was recorded.. I was in the chorus.. But one thing is – avoid Falsetto in the high notes.. He also adds that the dress is looking nice..
8. Rohit Shyam sings Albela Sajan ayo re from Hum dil de chuke sanam. MD – Ismail Darbar
Aditya says Your fan following is huge after you had sung Dard-e-disco from Om Shanti Om.. And now after this song, the fan following will increase..
Sonu – In the first performance itself I had told you that you are a very good singer and that you should be in the top 3 or 4.. If you be in that stage, the level of this contest will increase.. He asks Rohit to sing the sargam again because he felt he was doing mistake.. He was singing the Raag Ahir Bhairav correctly in the song, but when it came to the sargam he was made a mistake.. He asks him if he himself had added the sargam or someone taught him.. He says his maam had taught him..
Sureshji also agrees to Sonu and says in the sargam he sang wrongly the notes of the Raag.. But he is not to be blamed for that as he says – “Mishraji kuch bhi kar sakte hain”..
9. Maithili from Sotuh Africa sings maine kahaa phoolon se . Film – Mili. MD – SD Burman. Singer – Lata Mangeskar
Suresh – You are very small and you are singing like a child while others are singing like a matured kid. But you are singing well.. You need to improve a lot.. Work Hard and then come again..
Sonu – He says to Maithili just to encourage her.. its so bad na that in child competition, you are being asked to sing like a grown-up person? But we cannot also help it because all those kids are singing like a matured person. So, its a competition between a kid and a grown-up person.. But we get attracted to your style, the hair band etc.. Sureshji says give the band to me, atleast some part of my head will be hidden
10. Veda from Mumbai (she is a Standby Singer) sings Baiyaan na dharo from Dastak.. MD – Madan Mohan. Singer – Lata Mangeskar
Suresh – In beginning, Sur was not perfect. Mukhda was not good, but anthra was good..
Sonu – Difficult compared to this age. If you had chosen an easy song then your performance could have been better..
11. Tanmay Chaturvedi from Lucknow from Toota Toota ek parinda from waisa bhi kuch hota hain. MD – Vishal Shekhar. Singer – Kailash Kher.
Sonu – This is a great composition.. Asks him – When you sang the notes first time, did you deliberately gave that effect or your voice was shaking. He answers that his voice was shaking. Sonu says, yes because in the later stages, your standing notes were perfect. He also asks him what was he playing everytime while he was singing? He answers that from the age of one and half, he is been playing tabla, table etc. So, Sonu asks him to come to the judges table and play.. He does so.. It was really good and also says Sureshji also plays tabla and so asks him to play in the table.. Sureshji does so..
Sureshji - If I had a company of my own, I would have definitely signed you today.. But alas I cant put any contract..
12. Barbie from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. Film – Omkara. MD – Vishal Bharadwaj. Singer – Shreya. Oh saathi re.
Suresh – You were nervous.. This is not a sad song to sing. You needed to concentrate on the shruti..
Sonu – There are two types of singing.. One where you do lot of riyaz and get your voice perfect like Sureshji and next is like me where you need to put in lot of expressions and here the voice is god gifted.. Your voice is good.. You just need to put in more expressions into the song..
Now its Time Please.. After this the results will be announced
Results:
Sonu and Sureshji come on stage.. Contestants are also invited.. Sonu says, we will play a game and then announce the results.. Here two words will be formed with the letters given to the participants.. So, as said each of the contestant are given a letter.. One word is Rabbits and another word is Lions.. All those contestants who form the word Rabbits will stand in one end and those who form Lions will stand on the other end..
Vaishali, Loria, Sagar, Rohit, Barbie, Tanmay and Smita form one word Rabbits with each contestant getting one letter and Surbhi, Rupaali, Maithili, Veda and Aamna form the word Lions..
Now Sonu announces that those who form the word Rabbits are winners and those who form the Lions do not get through to the next round.. Here Rabbits are winners though usually Lions win the Rabbits..
Sonu – This does not mean that they have lost, but they have to improve more..
Maithili, Rupali, Aamna and Veda’s parents agree with the decision and Aamna’s mom says I wanted to come to India and it was my wish which has been fulfilled through my daughter.. But its Surbhi’s mother who says she should have been In.. She asks the judges whats her fault as she got good comments.. Sonu says – Yes she is good singer, but compared to Smita, Lora she did not do well.. Thats why she is not selected.. But still she is not satisfied..
The kids who lost are crying and Aditya tries to calm them down
Maithili asks Sonu to sing a song. She asks the audience which song he should sing. They say Kal ho na ho.. Sonu sings Kal ho naa ho along with Maithili..

Suresh – All sang well, but still I want my kid Sonu to announce the results..
Sonu – This is very difficult to select only few kids now at this stage. .But I can understand that all have come from far away places to just know the results if they have been selected.. I have also become a father lately and I know how much expectations these parents will be having.. Would ask you all to give big Applause for all parents.. he then continues saying these kids They all have worked hard but as we have to choose only few participants, we have chosen them.. Before that he says what is good in each particpant..
Shreya – Awaaz hil rahi hain, But you have a good voice vaishbhav – Was nervous while singing.. Shruti sang saat samundar nicely, but has to improve.. Maithili and Rupali have good voice and are very young.. And they sang well.. Archana, Yash, Monalisa sang well, but Taleem kam lagi..
Sureshji is one who have setup many school’s here for children to learn music and so Sonu asks Sureshji to set up a school in all the different countries too so these kids can get proper training.. He replies back saying, full planning is going on for this..
Results:
Sonu asks Shreya, Araghya, Mythili, Rupali to stand near to him.. The other 5 are asked to stand together.. Sonu announces that Shreya, Araghya, Mythili, Rupali have been selected for the next round..
Children from Pakistan have also been selected but they are celebrating Eid and so they couldnt be here.. They will be here in the next week..
Now its Saregamapa Little Champs Interantional…This time Little Champs is going to be international. The judges for l’il champs are renowned singers Sonu Nigam and Suresh Wadkar. 28 kids from 10 different countries are going to compete for the tile of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs International’. As usual, here we bring the live updates of the first opening show…

These 3 finalists Sanchita, Diwakar and Sameer will be starting the new series of little champs.. Andheri Complex where C2007 grand finale was held is shown and these 3 finalists are performing their song from Bal Ganesh.. The stage arrangement is the same as that of C2007..
Aditya is the host of this show.. He says from 5 continenets and 10 countires, the little champs have been chosen and adds that now its time for the juniors after the seniors to showcase their talents..

I had watched lil champs previous series and everyone are very good singers and I also have heard that all the kids who have been selected now are very good singers too..
Second Judge is Sonu Nigam
The Next judge for this show is one who has been the host for this show for 5 long years and after 8 years he is now back and that is Sonu Nigam..
A voice says from 3 years of age he has been singing with his father Arun Kumar.. He got the platform that is SRGM.. He was the host for 5 years and he is now back with after 8 years.. His journey as a host is show in a clip.. He got many offers to sing in movies when he was a host and everyone wishes to be like him.. He kept his promise with SRGMP and is back here as one of the judge.. He is one Dhruv tara whose shine will never fade.. He He is on a vinch and comes on stage singing tumko paaya hain ki jaise khoya hoon from Om shanti Om.. There is a live band.. on stage..
Sonu – I dont know where to start.. This is huge achievement of music and this proves country is hungry for music.. He says its been a long journey..

Sonu – This is the first time these kids are performing.. and we are meeting them for the first time.. I dont want to comment or give marks at this time.. Vibhiore was enjoying his performance.. rest of them were nervous.. but its ok it is their first performance Suresh – Bahut badiya, bahut accha gaaya.. all the best..

Suresh – They have made it very difficult and its going to be very tough competition.. Each one of them are singing better than the other..
Sonu – Its happy to see so much of talents.. I was thinking its going to be difficult as everyone is singing so well, but it would have been more difficult if they dont sing well.. It would be difficult to hear them not singing well through out the competition.. He says as time passes they will become polished and we can hear them singing much better than this.. As we move on, they will also sing better..

The celebrity judges include playback singer Sonu Nigam and Suresh Wadkar. Sonu returns to SRGMP after a gap of eight years, SRGMP challenge 2007 host Aditya Narayan announced during the finale of the reality show last night. ‘L’il Champs’ starting from October 19 would be aired on Friday and Saturday at 2200 hrs. The show would provide a platform to young participants within the age group of seven to 14 years. Aditya Narayan would be the host.
Speaking about the launch, Zee TV’s business head Punit Goenka said,”It’s been a nostalgic journey with SRGMP since its inception.
Music is an integral part of Indian culture and talent should be nurtured from an early age.” Adding further, he said,” On the judging panel, we have some of the leading and established professionals from the music industry, who, would guide and judge our L’il discoveries.We look forward to provide our viewers a refreshingly new show with L’il champs, some talented singing with loads of entertainment.” He said 28 participants have been selected from five continents and six different countries would compete with each other under the guidance of their respective mentors.
International auditions took place in UK, Dubai, USA, South Africa, Malaysia, Pakistan, New Zealand, Singapore, Fiji, Kenya, Australia, Israel and Hongkong as well as eight cities in India.
Raja Hasan has made a handsome start in his singing career. Even though, he lost in the final, now he is the one who has got maximum offers for playback singing. Raja Hasan has opened his account with a song from album High School Musical 2. The song – the Hindi version of High School Musical 2 is an adapted composition by SEL, with Indian instrumentation. Raja Hasan has sung the song along with Shilpa Rao, Arijit Singh and another debutant Tarannum. The song is called “Aaja Nach Le” and is an adaptation of the “All for one” song from the original English soundtrack.
