U said it! i also have reached to the conclusion that among all the contestants ,she is the only one who is truly versatile & does minimal mistakes in singing.Only thing,she is not hyped like Aneek or Raja.
She is the best.she should be the winner,no doubt!

Ok ok, Mauli did sing 2/3 songs well: Mayya Mayya, Ali More Angana and Namak (in Laloo episode)…but the majority of the time she sang baaadly…and what was worse is that other worthy singers were being eliminated bcos of her.
….and please somebody tell me what drugs BD is on? “Sa re ga ma pa, i am quitting” …huh?…. he must be the only person to have liked mauli’s singing…and where is his support for sumedha?…does she not have any value?….does BD feel she will be eliminated next week? surely he should now focus on making Sumedha sing better?….but what does he say “im quitting” :-s…i think the line….
“Mere paas Mauli hai” is true BD lol… “Mauli aapke paas hi aarahi hai” lol…usko ghar ley jao…. lol
i see another ID action by BD when he wanted to walk out…rememeber when Nihira was voted out in challenge 2005 (wrongly..as she WAS a very good singer) and ID RIGHTLY left sa re ga ma pa as that WAS an injustice…..but BD, come on …wake up… Mauli is no Shakira….and secondly….she ISNT that famous…if she was she wouldnt be last in voting.
Credit to Mauli for taking her elimination well though.
@Sid i agree, Poonam out of the women is the best and more importanly along with Amanat and Aneek, has been singing consistantly. my only concern with her is that the comments made by the guru’s may make the puclic think negative about her.
Out of the guys, this is the order i see it finishing:
1. Raja
2. Aneek
3. Amanat.
4. Musarat.
and why? well….Raja has the love of the public, Aneek may suffer from this never ending “love story”, Amanat for his consistency but may fade….and Musarrat 4th bcos he may struggle to sing any other artists songs other than the Late Nusrat ji’s.

i dont understand, he always talk about mauli and not about sumedha, he stil has sumedha,,i dont know what he has with mauli a special bond or something,,,
what she does is not singing but shouting

Mauli “maiya ..maiya” was the performance that made me to see ……
em in USA…i have seen Indian life here…..well…hardly some indians who brought up here..can speak hindi little bit…..i just surprised how easily Mauli sang songs..:-s…..and not only songs…she rocked…..
every time whenever i was seeing SRGMP..online…i always search where i can find Mauli song….though I agree..in contest Better contestants were there….but….Mauli got different voice….and Ne one in the world should agree that….the way she rocked in some special songs…..no other contestant ever did…in that ammount….
u knw like some times tht vishal-shekhar come over stage…and dance on Raja song…it just shows like they advertising Raja….Himesh also started advertising his…aneek and Musarat…but it sounds me so cheap…yaar…amazingly cheap…
CAN ANY ONE CAN THINK TO LEAVE USA….AND COME 2 INDIA FOR TRYING THEIR CAREER IN SUCH A CHALLENGING FIELD??……but She did….Cause she loves India…….and that has made me to respect Mauli….2 leave Houston…such a lovely place:)….hehe…Mauli baka…don’t worry …..believe me….U have proved ur self…and for that u can proud for whole life…and yaa…though Aneek is my favorite singer….I salute u..and ur efforts…with full respect. SAME FOR ANEEK I DONT LIKE ANEEK AT TIMES> BUT HE IS OKAY AT OTHER TIMES BUT MOST OF TIME I THINK HE MISSES THE MARK LIKE QAWWALI ROUND HE DIDNT SING A QAWWALI SONG HE SANG A MORE LIKE NORAML SONG. SO THAT REALLY MISSED THE MARK.

Mauli made a mess of maiya maiya too. She was not upto standard of saregamapa.she does need some hindi classes too. i can write more but its enough that i say Good Ridence Mauli.

yaa…I agree abt ..uhh aah…last performances of Mauli were 2 bad…and ofcourse Audience did right decision…and even i didn’t have given vote 2 her…cause….at that stage..many gr8 other singers deserve vote….but My point is….Himesh reshamiya can’t sing in Kishor kumar voice….in the same way…Mauli can rock specific songs….and i am sure she will….
abt Maiya…maiya…yaa she messed..but it was better….and it was rocking….yaa….and though i said i won’t see the show…i guess i have been addicted:P…now i m searching…always…Aneek, Musarat and Rajas performance:P

hey Jinan.. perfectly to the point. The only reason she needs to be given her due us coz she comes from usa and still can sing hindi songs decently.. I have never met any one who can do that.. Most of them are even ashamed of speaking in hindi leave alone singing in Hindi.. Otherwise yes its the right judgement from Junta.. she has outdone herself..
I would dearly love to see Mussarat out now.. what pathetic singing today of that Remo’s song.. I know hez basically a sufi singer.. doesnt mean he fails in every other song!

There are many people who liked MAULI[whatever the reason might be]. You guys have to understand that she is from Houston,not from India/Pak/UAE …. POONAM IS NOT THE BEST….SHE HAS THE BEST VOICE YES BUT SHE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO CONTROL IT PROPERLY.
SHE IS OFTEN OFF-KEY BUT I THINK WITH A SERIOUS AMOUNT OF SINGING LESSONS, SHE COULD BE AMAZING.
