To me this show is nuthin more than a cricket match fixin game. Every week they prepare next singer to vote out next week,like they did harpreet last week now musarat. i cant understand how come public voting change evry week, In beging Raja was on top and even he did for 4 weeks then all of a sudden poonam became 1st and raja 2nd it makes sense… but next round how da hell mauli# 1.. no way!!! these all judges are fixer, i dont like this show any more cuz of thier unfair voting result announcement thats why i have stopped voting my favrite any more, cuz it doesnt matter as much we vote our favorite singer, they gone throw some one singer what ever they alredy decided.. its no more fair enuf on public votes.. ppl wake up..sony tv fame gurkul..qazi was on # 1 from beging till end there was no shaky result and it makes sense it was fair result… and leme tell you what gona be next week.. they will kick out musarat next week, doesnt matter how much tough competetor or singer he is…see thats why himesh was preparing musrat for next week..hell! this is craab!! to me no more fair show.

I donot know what will happened next week,but guys this is sure that saregamapa is preplaned and i m sure winner will be Anik or Raja,but For me winner is Amanat,Only Amanat,Reason is that he sang always songs of diffrent singers and his Sur is always perfect.Mussarat Voice is very very precious and he is best and best than all in Nusarat Fatah Ali khan Category especially.Anik voice is fit for all heros of bollywood,but he should have to stand in a long row because too many singers in that category.Raja voice is different and he can make his own identity,but his surs are not perfect.In girls Poonam is best and then Somedah.Mauli is best then all singers……………… only and only for Papi Da.I want to tell you a secret that why all the mentors called papi Da DADA because he has very guud knowlege of Surs,he Finds mauli for us,Joke…. I donot like Mauli voice but now i wish mauli Win saregamapa challenge 2007,If she will Win then only i can quit to watch saregamapa for rest of my life.Thats my Feeling,i cannot afford to buy mauli album.Good bye and Lets See who will eliminate Next week.

this show is so easy to judge yar.. i tell you who is going to get eliminate next week.. “mussarrat” then “sumedha” then “poonam”…
poonam elimination before mauli will put a great twist in the show..
i am sorry to say but its ture that this show is “curruput” too much favoriteism.

Bit long post.. forgive me.
“Cash” has bombed.. but “Zara nach ke dikha” took center stage as the intro song - for Mauli. With Amanat and Aditya as the sidekicks.
The song was another one like hey baby, or Dus bahane.. or gzillion other songs playiing today. Same type. Catchy tune, chalega for sometime until another one comes along… I would’nt know if they repeat this same song in another movie early next year. Infact no one will catch it
Somehow I thought the lip sync was out of sync with the soundtrack..
Amanat looked uncomfortable dancing for the into “Cash” song …..he had that “OMG .. I hope mommy is not watching..” look on his face.
The intro of the new jodi releasing their album was a nice gesture by Zee.
Lets see the performances …
Amanat = Flawless.
The sher he said in the beginning sounded hurried and rehersed. Somehow I felt it did not come from his heart .. maybe because it was requested from him rather than him saying it because he WANTED to.
His “Aye ajnabee” was as always, perfect. He is like Roger Federer…his No.2 is far far behind.. and then the rest follow.
Aneek - Very good. Excellent. I’m hearing this “Apne” song for the first time and I must say I really liked it a lot. One of the few Himesh songs I liked (because someone else sang it Ha !!).
Good job Aneek.. Hi notes Lo notes sab apne apne jagah pe tha. .. so added one more to my collection. I would say .. hmmm..Rafael Nadal
And then, guess what …. Himesh came on stage …!!
And I’m like .. Wow ! What a surprise !!

Sweet sweet sweet voice.. but its more Sweennt sweennt sweennt than sweet sweet sweet. She must OPEN her mouth to let at least some of the air come out through her mouth rather than her nose.. unless she does that, I’m sorry its more “neem neem” than “shehad shehad” for me.

Good performance. Nice song.. He sounded like trying to copy Musarrat !!
I would like Raja to sing in a language other than “Aaave, Jaaave, Mainu, Teinu, Jind, Vind” etc.
Bol bol ke thak gayee yaar main. This is one reason I rate him below some others. Again, for me there was no divinity, no god. Sorry.

Aachi bachi !! I think she must have read my previous week’s review and got rid of the “Jigyasa aunty” look. BTW, I was hoping “Jygyasa aunty” will come khud to cheerleader her on behalf of “Kasam Se”.. but Smriti Irani came.
Poonam’s performance was very good. Jai Jaspinder all the way. Aaj Poonam ke Hi notes ke baad Bappida will not talk about notes again. Lo ya Hi. Hopefully.
BTW, my friend’s 7 year old kid who was watching the show (forced by me) looked at Bappida during a performance and said “That big mans sleeping !” Wow.. kids observe more than we do !

Mauli ke liye Zee didnt trust one bahu rani.. so they sent teen teen bahuraniyan.
First of all, she came right after a powerful performer like Poonam and sang what.. a nursery rhyme !! C’mon.. “kaisi paheli” is the most easiest song anyone can sing !! So Mouli added in some croak factor to make it more seductive… The beginning of the song was like a malaria patient in high fever delirium.. I am not exaggerating.. please himmat jutake listen to it one more time if you want… !!
I am trying Mauli beta, *really* *truly* trying to find some good comments to give you. I swear, I am not biased against you. I dont like to do this, but I have to be honest.
Musarrat :
God yeh kya gaata hai re !! I dont think I have the status to even comment on his performance. I still dont think he topped his “Sanware..” but almost as good. Class act.
Its an embarrasment to all music lovers (at least me) that he is competing on the same stage as Mauli. Again, this is nothing personal against Mauli.. but its just sheer stupidity to compare these two songs.. forget about Musarrat or Mauli.. would you compare NFAK’s song with Sunidhi’s Kaisi paheli??
On what scale ?? I dont get it.
And then, Himesh goes on stage (OMG !! WOW !!) to dindora peeto on his other chela, and goes ….. “Mu’sha’arrat.. tumne bahut acha gaya.. Raja ne, Aneek ne, Amanat ne, sab ne achcha gaya..”
I puked. IsmailD was decent enough to cut him short and get the spotlight back on Musarrat. After that, Himesh was left with no choice but to right the wrong.
Sigh !! How is the public keeping quite about this adamant favourism by Himesh ??
Let me thow a monkey-wrench in this Himesh-Musarrat thingy….
I think Himesh is SCARED of Musarrat… I really do. I mean look at his face when Musarrat sings.. its like “OMG.. Meri roti uski plate !!”
Himesh is very aware that Musarrat ko roti dilaate dilaate, khud ke ghar mein aata kam pad jaayega. So he is making sure that after Musarrat sings, Janta ke dil mein uska asar kam ho.. otherwise, why would a guru go to this extent to downplay a shagird like this ?? And that too when the shagird is performing like Musarrat ??
Harpreet - Listening to his journey so far, there are several songs that I had not paid attention to, but I do remember that they needed a second hearing. Now, I will go back and revisit his songs. I wish him well. Good job getting this far, buddy. Hope you find good work. Junaid’s untimely departure has somehow made me numb to Harpreet’s ouster.

You might not like Aneek …. but HE IS THE BEST…. and all the songs he sang are of top class without any flaws…to your information we all remember them and listen to his songs over and over again. “muh dikhai se vote nahi milta usko banda gata hi accha hain….playback ke liye bikul taiyaar banda hain…bhale hi aap mano ya na maano.”
I like Amanat too but this time his performance was better then Amanat.
I know Mussarat sings well but to be honest I would love to hear only sufiana classical song from him but NOT other filmy songs…” usme woh pachar pachar ke girta hain.
Aur humne idhar filmy hero ke liye singer chose karna hain… naki Nusrat Feteh Ali Khan ji Ko.Yesha hota tO by this time kailash kher sab hero ke liye gane gaa rahe hote…. Shaan , sonu nigam, Kunal ganzawala ghar pe soooooo rahe hote….

Point well taken. I agree this show is intended to chose a generic singer who can fit most heros.. but in reality, the winner(s) of this show are the ones who can “establish a career for themselves”. No matter what genre.
Lets face it.. no one is waiting in line to give work to *any* of these guys. There is still the backlog of Indian Idol 1,2, SRGMP 2005, FGurukul and what not.
In that sense Musarrat stands a big chance of being “the winner” in the long run because his field is unique with rare and few established names and not to forget that NFAK is not there anymore, he is in spirit only. I think Musarrat still needs to be polished and perfected.. but it sounds very possible.
In terms of *all rounder* singer for general movie songs, yes, Aneek and Amanat. Amanat is a true allrounder due to his classical training which shows in his performances. I sincerely hope aneek does well.. but his voice is very very ordinary.. I mean, close your eyes and listen, he doesnt sound like “its Aneek !!” Its a very regular melodious voice like many others out there.
Also, Aneek sings the song *exactly* as the original. It will be nice if he can add some originality of his own.
Between Raja and Aneek, Aneek takes my vote. No doubt.
Raja - I criticise him a lot in my comments, but he would do very well in pure folk music. He has that rustiness in his voice. Its a tough genre to make a big name though.
Poonam’s voice is different than any established singer out there.. she has attempted all types of songs and done very well. I think Poonam will get work easily.

i think once again, if any once noticed it that Bappi lahri always taking Mauli side. i dont know why. this last song she sung was all OOOOOOOOOO and AHHHHH and little antra.. haha.. YEs her performance was good i have to accept that but it is mostly about the song..
and we all see that Mussarrat performance almost all the time is upto mark but still neglected. he was again at the bottom two and again he gave the best performance. he got this “best performance Title” from gurus so many times as we all know.
And it seems like last time Bappi Lahri did not like Mussarrat song and did not make any comments at all meanwhile the rest of them were up their toes cheering up..
Last but not least i would not be surprised if mussarrat gets low votes again… i can tell VISHAL do not like Sumedha and Mauli performance. if you see his facial expression but i think he is bound not to say n e thing.

Poonam is a mix between Jaspinder and Lata. Excellent combination I believe.
And yes Mussarat needs some more polishing and is unique no doubt. He has a potential to create magic and he has shown it many times.
One more comment on this espisode: Harpreet, you’re an amazing human being, your final comments and sentiments were from the heart and you are a Star. I hope you do well in future.

mussarat and amanat were the toppers of the show, with mussarat with alittle edge over amanat… and i agree it was probably not as good as sanware but i would say his second best performance of the whole series…
Mussarat can you please stop being such a himesh naukar …u know seriously dude you are a very good singer and seem like a very good human being - build that confidence in you… serioulsy man… this himesh dude after every good performance by mussarat comes up on stage to make it sound like his personal achievement as if he taught mussarat all this otherwise treating him like crap and shamelessly promoting aneek what is this… so mussarat bahi you are a great singer and you should beleive in yourself more..
Lastly Harpreet..it was very sad what he said in the end but I hope you do remember you came back on this show by people’s votes from the six or whatever singers that were chosen by VS… i remember in one of the early episoded his very beautiful “O Majhi Re” when Asha B was judging (and he got a green light to go to the next round) and that was the first time i noticed the guy…so hopefuly he will find work..he really was improving quiet a bit….
ok guys one thing i’m wondering about ..all these music directors esp i like vishal who seems like a very honest person and also shehkar and ID - i mean are these guy paid to promote certain people and not others? i mean these people are artists and i cannot imagine how a signer/music director can sit there and keep praising mauli when even inexperience listners like kapil dev and myself can hear the “crock” factor there.. like what is going on…i just cant imagine if they are all being dishonest or agreed to play or “act” out this game.. it cant be a big conspiracy theory -that ok we want to keep mauli on this show so u guys have to praise her no matter what… *thinking…*

and Everyone is waiting for Guru marks and judgement.
Bappida - “Gaane me Maja nahi aaya, aap ne words ko samaj ke nahi gaaya”.
Lata has a puzzled expression.
Vishal - Bappida, Aap explain karo, lagta hai woh samjhi nahin.
Bappida - “Dekho, “Rasik Balma, ka matlab kya hai”. Hamare Bangla mein “Ras” mean sweet syrup hota hai”
aur balma means “Sweet heart”. Aap ne pure udhas start kiya. Iska start ekdum “Ras bhara” hona chahiye tha.
Lata is unimpressed and can’t believe her ears.
Bappida - “Aap nahin samjhi”, “Accha -Mooli, tum gaa kar dikhao”. Yeh India ki top playback singer he.
Mauli gets on the stage and starts- ( In Mayya Mayya Style).

kya horror hai awaz mein.
Shekhar - The singer who “Rocked” Maiya Maiya has done it again. Better than original.
HR - “Blow jobbing” —uhhh sorry - “Mind blowing”.
ID - “Mein isko kya bolu, “yeh to toph, cheez hai”.
Lataji is speechless and she just runs from the show.

Vishal finally laid out the truth that harpreet isnt being praised as much as they should have..im sorry harpreet u got eliminated..u are a good singer. anyways..as usual bappida hyped mauli, himesh hyped mussarat and aneek. vishal shekhar ke paas bus raja reh gaya hai aur ismail, again amanat. too much favourtism going on in this show. .. singers u sang well..keep it up and best of luck in the future.

I was noticing noone noticed Harpreet’s performance today. He was brilliant. Mussarat, Harpreet and Poonam are the most neglected singers in SRGMP and noone wants to talk abt them even when they sing well. Its such a loss to lose Harpreet when the worst singer Mauli is still present.
I think Harpreet was and is better than Aneek but the poor guy never got any appreciation and hype. Too bad ppl voted out Harpreet. I wish him best of luck and hope he hangs in there and sings songs for us in future.

My review, In order of appearances
Amanat - My all time favorite song, sung very very well, but i felt something missing this time, i might not listen to this song over and over again but still one of the best performances of the show.
Aneek - Very good performance, really sung well had some problems with low notes you were almost unhearable sometimes, but rest was great, all was going fine until HR jumps onto the stage and ruin the fun and i started hating poor Aneek for it.
Sumedha - Ok performance, like always sweet voice but nothing special.
Raja - Good effort but now everyone can notice the difference between Raja and mussarat both sang NFAK songs and Mussrat was totally outstanding,
Poonam - very very good performance, i love this girl’s voice but sometimes i feel that she is eating pan while singing, on the whole one of her best performances, this song was made for you
Mauli - Not Bad but still worst
Mussarat - Small para would be injustice to your performance you totally stole the show and was the most outstanding singer of the night, you are really improving with your lower notes and this will make you a hell of a singer , and it was such a good thing that everyone was telling you to sing NFAK , please dont go back to HR songs please.
Harpreet, I am really sad at your departure but as we all know you had to go this week or the next, but you sang your last song well nothing like the original but good job.

Aneek absolutely rocks the show.. hez probably the only real professional singer who can be directly used in the studies for play back singing… Aneek you rock dude.. Amanat is my next choice.. hez got good classical touch and he can more or less sing most of the songs..
My next choice would be Poonam and then Raja followed by Sumedha.

This show is competing with The Great Indian Laughter Show. I really pity Zee. Someone should learn from them to upset their audience at the same time make money ( All poor voters who feel their votes are being counted).

Next person who needs to be elimited is Himesh..What’s he trying to do? It’s pukingly (’of Senty) filthy to praise Aneek again while Musharat was still on the stage and being garlanded for yet another outstanding song. May be he himself is thereatened by Musharat.
Poonam sang one of the most popular folk songs from Teesari kasam. I am not sure why but it did not have the life that the original song had. She also seems to enjoy the sympathy votes (and there’s been overdose of it. Bechari…please vote for her..seems to be the theme.
Amanat as usual performed well. (and seemed to have enjoyed the holi as well). Please someone tell him not to imitate Lalu’s hairstyle. (and certainly not like the one on lalu’s ears)
Raja the Rajasthani did well this time (after a long break). If you are a Patriotic Indian Muslim, you are an instantaneous hit in India. Not as versatile though. But who cares anymore about versatility in this show. If Himesh is a star in Bollywood, I guess, Mauli can become a starrr as well. I think she will do well in Bihari and Bhojjpuri movies. Bhainsasur..do you guys know about it? (and probably gujju movies as well)
Sumedha is close to the horizon of elimination now. Daler seemed to like her. By the way, i found Daler show very lengthy and boring. (except his acrobatics on the stage). Lalu was disapponting as I didn’t hear any Lalusque comments that he is very popular for. I liked the setting of the stage with Pan shop, khatiya, and some bakriya. One thing was though missing…Himesh also should have been tied with those bakriyas..(and will perfectly make the Rock Gharana)

I like your comments and agree with you 1000 %. Himesh is really getting paranoid of Mussarat’s singing because he is afraid that Mussarat is going to snatch away his “roti” and “biryani”. He is shamelessly promoting Aneek who is such an ORDINARY singer.

ANEEK is only singing like professional singer. Look at his Versatility. He will be a great singer. Any type of song he can sing. Musarat, Raja, Amanat are also good singer but they have no versatility. They can not compete with Aneek in future… even any one of them win this challenge. Beleive me.

I think he is… COZ u see SONU can’t sing ghazals but Aneek can. I also think he is better than Udit Narayan bcoz Udid cant sing classical but Aneek can(evn though he never sung classical songs).

NFAK sung his style and he got respect 4 it ppl who cudnt even understand his lang. wud dance.

Dude, if you read my comment above abt Aneek, its meant to be a sarcasm.
Even I am against this whole crap of versatality. And yes I dont think Aneek has anything special(he sings like Vinit) and there many singers like Aneek and Vinit in every singing competition. Its very difficult for Sonu-copiers to survive in the industry when Sonu is alive and kicking.

You have proven that you are the best singer in this Asian sub continent. I don’t care for the number of votes you are receiving. Others may receive more votes than what you do, but the depth of your sense of music cannot be measured with the number of votes. You really sing from your heart without caring about winning or losing in the competition and this makes you a great artist. I sincerely wish that you win the SaReGaMaPa 2007 competition, but even if you don’t, you have not to worry at all because you have won the hearts of lacs of people all over the world.
Your performance of 29th July, when you sung “Saanwre” from Bandit Queen has been rated as your best performance till now. But I think that after singing “Tere Bin nahin lagda dil mera Dholna”, this has become your best performance.

I dont believe this. Teh sunday show when the Railway minister came. I live in Canada adn our PM dont have as much security as a Railway Minister in India & ppl wonder where all the tax money goes.
Secondly, Has anyone noticed everytime when there is guest int he show the judges never judge themselves. They always look at the guest and say things accordingly.
Thirdly, Bhapi Da always like to jump up on the stage and try to promote Mauli in front of all guests and everyoen else adn HR is learing his tricks too.
VS are nice but both chickens and dont know how to stand up for their own.
ID is the best. He never over does and knows how to handel every situation except when Mauli is singing him and HR can never help themself but to look and talk to each other like pervs.
Mauli sorry to say u can only sing one type of songs which are items songs and i dotn think this industry needs anymore items.
Everyoen else sings very good and can sing diff styles. Even Musarat can sing diff styles i remember when Asha asked him to sing diff song and he did very good but Mauli sang diff style once and she sucked.

Sa re ga ma pa,is such a nice and talented show.in which i m proudly syaing and have observe that the people of sub continent are giving chance form all over the world and couraging them with the best comments. the panel of judges are really commendbale and have really sense to judge the best voice. i have find humanity and humbleness in all the judges. no doubt, Mussarat and Ammanat are really singing with the quality of voice.
and Raja is too so good.
Hey Again, i have read all the cooments of guys and gals here….all have their own differnt point of view. but i m agree with most of the funks here, that truly, Mussarat is truly a singer of the programe,and he has to really built confidence in his self. he shouldnt feel any boogleness abt his self. he is from my city, and he is rocking star.
