Our favorite programme has lost all charm. Now it has become a Himass Besharmiyya mono act.I remember the previous episodes with a strange wistfulness..Music is supposed to soothe the senses.. If asked about the most memorable occassions I would forever remember Saanwre by Mussarat, Tose Naina Lage by Poonam, Raja’s awesomely graceful exit by the haunting rendition of the Judaai Song,followed by the judges giving chorus to Allah Ke Bande,His Mahiya.. Mauli outdoing Stevie Wonder in her renditions in glares.. Junaid the dude(Watch out for him in future)
..but now there is nothing memorable..
To all Aneek fans.. I sincerely cannot remember a single song of his which can be termed memorable.. I only thing I can remember is Diya ji ILU, Salman Bhai ke liye nanga hua, & those immortal lines Sir Woh mujhe milegi ya nahin..10/10 on drama, showmanship,catering to the front benchers but a singing virtuoso.. jeez u gotta be joking..
Well I do hope for your sakes he does qualify for the finals but at whose expense?? That is for the vox populi to decide.. Amen

iam sorry mate i think you are either def or without brains, the later is most probable, if you cant differentiate between giving opinions and imposing them you should then buy all the himesh songs and listen to them whole day that would be a treat for you isnt it , but atleast you were right about amanat, have fun and peace !
Until a few weeks back, this forum was more entertaining and informative. There was a lot of interesting discussions and overall, it was a fun and enjoyable experience to post and to read the posts. But oflate it’s boring and getting more and more depressing, if I may say so. The HR drama and the hatred for Aneek (very unfortunate) has taken over this show AND this forum. Most of the Aneek hatred in this forum is totally unwarranted. I guess it is fun to join sides and goad and provoke the opponent. Not to mention the weird Indo-Pak comments trying unsuccessfully to generate more hatred.
This is just a damn TV show, will get over in a couple of weeks and we’ll all be back to our lives.
I doubt if any of us will really support these top 5 when they come out with their music. What if the music sucks? Would we still buy it?
Does anyone here really, honest to God, BUY music? Unless we BUY their music, and not get it from Papuyaar, its a moot point to argue kaun kitna achcha gata hai or who should win this show.

What about Abhijit Kosambi?
I wonder how he could be forgotten so easily!
Some of his performances (’Nahin saamne’, ‘Chanda re’) were simply sublime, he was no lesser singer than top 4-5 qualified singers.
Abhijit was the most ignored and underrated singer in SRGMP as well as in this forum.
I am pleased that lately Harpreet, another neglected one, has received some appreciative comments here, though I doubt it matters much, as most people here are unbelievably lopsided in their judgment.

You are fighting as the great Bappi Da (Joke) would say over 19/20. The final 4 singers are the best of the show. But clearly some have performed better lately.
Raja has not been good for a few weeks now.
Poonam is a good singer but had a bad day yesterday.
Aneek is a good singer, but his Guru has over-hyped him.
Amanat is a good singer, but is Pak and will not win.
So the final seems set between Aneek and Amanat. Neither are my favorites (Mussarat and Poonam) but I will try my best enjoy the rest of the show (Even though Himesh Besharmiya will try his best to make me hate the show).
PS. I cannot watch the show on TV anymore because I am afraid that any minute HR will open his mouth and my head will hurt, So I watch it on this site.
PPS. I think that People should stop now making personal comments about the singers left. All of the singers left are really good, it is not the fault of a singer who he/she gets as a guru.
ID is playing sidekick to Himesh because Himesh helped ID to get his first album as a singer from T-series.

Agree with you specially when public was asking once more from Amanat & how Himesh interfered.
HR seriously contradicted himself. First he said: “Raja you have to be more versatile”. Ten seconds later, he tells Raja to not come out of his genre.
Random things I noticed:
- Kareena unduly praised Himesh. This only encouraged his blabbering.
- Amanat has a crush on Kareena
- Shekhar is still sick
- Bappi chala gaya. But why? His contestants may have left but can’t he still judge?
- ID and VS are fair, really fair judges.
I would have given the Titan to Aneek today. I don’t understand why Raja’s Omkara got such a standing ovation. He sounded like someone was beating him :P. I thought it was not good at all, no offense usually he & Amanat & Poonam are my favorites.

I agree 100%. I no longer post of this forum the way I used to because I feel my opinions have no place here.
As someone who really, honest to God, buys music - and by that I mean iTunes and now eMusic - I have to say even as strongly as I feel about the talent of some of the contestants of this show, at the end of the day, I buy what sounds good to me. And I cannot promise that I will buy whatever these guys end up singing. I did not even download the Golden Hits $hashi put up on this site, because I would much rather listen to the originals.
Even the best talent can only do so much justice to strinctly mediocre compositions, and my gripe from the start has been that music composers today come up with cr@p and blame the audience: “but this is what the audience wants” etc. etc.
I really, really hope these guys get work that’s worthy of their talent and skill, not some raining, paining Anu Malik type compositions.

I’m sorry you guys feel that way. I too see a lot of pointless bashing, especially of Aneek (and HR-bashing, but I am not critizing that), but seriously I think there are quite some performance-oriented comments here too. True, the ‘regulars’ have not commented on today’s or yesterday’s episode and that makes it a bit less fun but please sift through the nonsense and try to spot the good ones! i would hate for this forum to be dead around the finals, that’s when comments should be most appreciated.

its like whenever anyone else sings HR just says fantastic, mind blowing etc…when aneek sings its like…he is the best singer to ever grace the industry.

HR should take a leaf from VS and ID book as they always praise or criticise others and their own gharana even if it means they will be eliminated (as was the case today making poonam’s bad throat a major issue).
the whole thing to be honest is a damn fix to get aneek, raja and amanat to the final…when did they automatically decide the final will be with 3 people? should this not have been announced in the start? its like sumedha and poonam never really stood a chance in the first place…

He talks just crap,things himself as a genius,but the truth is he is a MORON…..
Saregamapa lost its charm when Aneek and Abhijeet joined the show. Abhijeet lost out because he didn’t have sufficient time to build an emotional connection with the audience, seeing that HR has been relentlessly shoving Aneek down our throats. The bias has been obvious and the show has lost many good singers because of this favouritism. If Aneek hadn’t joined the show, HR would not have switched sides and disowned his one time favourite Mussarat. Since that time other gurus like Bappi also started to push singers like Mauli and ID said “mere paas Amanat hai” etc etc. I really wish Aneek wasn’t a part of this show; it would have been so much more pleasant and nicer.
The stupid judges and guests of saregamapa
A few weeks back HR made a few monumental blunders, firstly he emphatically stated that (not once but twice) the viewership of saregamapa is 500 crore!!! and also said that 90% of Tushar Kapoor’s movies are hits!! LOL. As if that was not bad enough this time Kareena Kappor made a hilarious and pathetic statement “Aneek mein tumhe 10/10 nahi balke 100/100 deti hoon”. Miss Kapoor if you remember math from your third grade, you would know that 10/10 is exactly the same as 100/100!!! ROFL.
I request all of you to vote for Poonam bearing in mind that she gave a stupendous performance this Friday (kahin aag lage lag jaave), she was the best amongst all the contestants. She was a bit off colour on Saturday but so have other contestants at various other points during this contest. In any case she had a really sore throat. So, we must give her the same latitude that has been offered to other contestants. PLEASE VOTE FOR POONAM.
This week belonged to Aneek. I am rooting for Poonam but this was a bad week for her and I will not be surprised if she gets eliminated next week. HR is a Royal Pain but may be Zee TV intentionaly wants to give show controversial for sake of ratings.

Among all the contestant Aneek was the best on Saturday. ID and Vishal both agreed on this point. Any body who understands music will agree to it. I feel crowd should not listen to what Himesh is saying. But in few cases his point was supported by others too. For example when Himesh criticised Raja after his first performance, ID supported that. In another instance ID agreed to Himesh on Poonam’s performance — “Beta jab sixer marna chahiye, tune usi samaye bold ho rahi hain..” After Aneek’s first performance Vishal, ID, Kareena all agrred that, it was the BEST PERFORMANCE so far. Amanat sang both the song very good, but he lacked the energy little bit this time. Both Raja and Poonam mesh up in one of their songs. I feel the next week’s result will be as follows. I strongly believe so.

Right now Raja is leading with 3768543 votes. Which is a record in saregamapa’s history. So he will be no 1 again.
Amanat in second position.
Poonam in third position.
At last Aneek will out of the show as well as his mentor. Right now he is struggling to get third position. He is 143585 votes behind.

The show was nice because of Kareena and ofcourse Amanat’s performances were absolutely rocking. HR was the bad element in the show and hated when he was trying to prove about ANEEK is best and Raja, this is not your best performance. I think Raja was much better than Aneek.

First of all, you are wrong when you say that Poonam was off color this week, her Friday performance (”kahin aaah lage lag jaave…from Taal) was STUPENDOUS !! Please be honest and let me know if this is wrong.
She had a very bad sore throat this last Sat., that is why she was a bit off color in both the songs. One could make this out when she was speaking (not singing) on the mike and that is why both of her songs were 99 %, otherwise it is really very rare to see a top 4 finalist and especially a gifted singer like her to be a bit off color in both songs.
She and Amanat are the ONLY singers who have no style, they can sing any type of song and anyone’s song.
Just my opinion and I hope you agree. It would be unfortunate and heart breaking that someone who is sick (very sore throat) is eliminated due to his/her sickness. It would be kind of like Sachin Tendulkar or Imran Khan can never play as they had bad muscle ache in one of the matches.

Before I say anything, my apologies to Nitesh if I am wrong. But I think someone may be deliberately saying that he/she has inside information that Aneek is the last in voting just to make sure it spurs his supporters to vote for him.
I have nothing against Aneek, he should win if he is the best but thought of mentioning this.
Let me make it clear first; FANTASTIC PROGRAM, FANTASTIC SINGERS, FANTASTIC PERFORMANCES. Its great to know and hard to believe soo many good singers took part in one competition. I have never witnessed anything like it. THOUGH, SHAME about certain judges who have been simply selfish about the whole approach to support their singers. HR has really let this show down lately with his antics. We dont want to see you or hear you, the stars of this show is not you, its the singers! I never comment on these blogs, but it came to a point when I felt a necessity to show my frustration and I know there are plenty more who feel this way. HR is very bullish about the whole approach and his constant behaviour of pointing fingers towards Raja is very unprofessional. Obviously he sees Raja as a major threat, there is no doubt. Its also a shame cuz I do feel amongst this galaxy of fantastic singers Aneek is very special, BUT I declare NOT TO VOTE for him this week because of constant annoyance of HR. Mr Reshamiya if you feel you are helping your singer, who indeed is special, you are WRONG; matter of fact you are ruining his chances to win to a major degree and you just need to read comments of people on here to understand it. Please stop interfering in every single issue, we dont want to hear you, let the real stars of saregamapa show their talent!
I really think HR is the worst judge. He has completely forgotten that he is sitting there just to pick out a best singer among all, but not to show some stupid partiality on Aneek. I agree aneek is a very good singer but i dont understand why he doesnt act like a good judge like Vishal. Coz, even Vishal has a ultra cool singer and still he doest show partiality every time. He treats every one the same.
I think some one should warn HR no to be so stinky in the show as he may spoil Aneeks career.

2. Aneek , RAJA
3. Poonam.
Guys u have to agree that Amanat, Aneek and Raja are better singers than poonam. I dont say she is not good. She deserves all good. But, time has come that she is not better than the other guys.

I respectfully disagree. Aneek and Raja both have had many bad days and both have a style. Poonam has never had a bad day except last Sat. when her throat was very sore, one could make that out when she was just speaking to ID. She can sing any type of song and any one’s song. I really like raja but he has never shined outside sufi type of songs…..just remember Poonam’s songs from the beginning and you will see what I mean.

Let’s not forget, if Poonam had a off day Sat. (Sept. 22), BOTH Raja and Aneek had bad days on Friday (Sept. 21). I know public memory is short and usually people just remember last performance, let’s be just and remember Poonam’s Friday performance of “Kahin aag lage lag jaave..from Taal”. If she should be penalized for her Sat. performance, Raja and Aneek have to be penalized for their Fri. performance.
Last, and most importantly, Poonam had a very bad sore throat on Sat. Raja and Aneek didn’t have that on Fri. and even they they didn’t perform well.

I completely agree with your answer.This was just my personnel opinion. And i am sorry if i have hurted any ones feelings. May be Poonam is not very well on this episode but, i personally feel though she is a fabulous singer, her voice doesnt suit for all the songs.
I myself voted for poonam too but, I feel other singers left in this show are fabulous and will be able to perform on any kind of song given.
I think the sequence of elimination in this show is just perfect as people are choosing the singers as per their talents. Atleast the voting is not as in indian idol. The worst singers become Indian idol every year.
This is a great show and i request each and every one not to show any partiality, listen to the singers with your heart and may the best singer win.

What is the drama going on in SAREGAMAPA? How come suddenly she has a daughter now….. Common, i dont think atleast i can believe this.Even if we say there is adopted daughter why is she on screen today? Only for Votes? This is very very bad. I just lost belief in this show.

Listen to Rajas performance on 22nd, in the Omkara song, In beginning he lost sur, and no one in the mentors, I mean, no one pointed that out. It was so so obvious. Even, Vishal/Shekhar stood and wistled at the end. I mean, this is too much, this is just favourism and Hypism.

It’s prescripted. Everything is written by ZeeTV beforehand. It’s not about music. If it were ,Mussarat and Poonam were there. How many bad performance Aneek and raja gave? Forgot “pardesi”? it’s just one example. There are many for two of them. They eliminate Poonam and Mussarat on much better performances. so if you are trying to establish a relationship between singing talent and the those who qualified, I am sorry there is none. You and I can go and sing and if we can get more SMS’s we can win. Nothing to do with talent whatsoever.
Don’t waste your time They will do whatever will bring money to ZeeTv. Rest doesn’t matter.

Folks, you would be surprised to see that Poonam has an adopted child, Simran, who is 6 years old. Poonam adopted her 4 years ago when she was 22 years old and Simran was 2 years old. Hats off to Poonam, she is a true winner in life irrespective of what happened in saregamapa. She truly has a heart of gold and has truck loads of spirit and guts. She will serve as an inspiration to all of us.
After reading this, my hatred towards HR has increased many folds, he is such a cheap and characterless person, just to keep Oink in the competition he shrewdly manipulated the voters to vote out Poonam. HR and Ismail were more bothered about Oink’s staying in the competition than requesting voters to consider Poonam’s past performances while voting. Everyone knew she had a bad throat, so its just not fair to vote her out based on that one day’s performance.
My best wishes and prayers will always be with her.
If it is true, it is a big-hearted thing of Poonam to do (and I can really believe she would do something sweet like this) BUT
I’m very afraid this is yet another cookup to win votes. How convenient to suddenly have a daughter. And of course adopted otherwise she would be unmarried mother, which would be bad for votes.
But talentwise i LOVE Poonam so nuff said, I don’t mind, she can win

Well, what a drastic change. Last week’s posts were all defaming Aneek, saying that he should be out because he plays along with HR’s antics. This week we find the total opposite; everyone is saying not to blame Aneek for his mentor’s behavior. I find this a bit ironic, to be honest. Its not that I disagree; yes, indeed, Aneek is a high-quality singer and HR is the only one to blame for the blabbering. I’m just curious as to where all these Aneek supporters were last week when everyone was bashing him.
I love, LOVE what Vishal said to HR after Aneek sang; HR reported that Raja was good, but it wasn’t one of his best performances. And what did Vishal do? Shot it right back at him and told him that Aneek sang well, but it wasn’t his best performance either! It takes a lot of guts to do something of that caliber, and instantly I have regained lots of respect for Vishal. Hats off to him for giving HR a much-needed slap in the face.
Poor Shekhar was ill, I believe. Hope he feels better soon. (Funny how all the Shekhar fangirls have stayed remarkably silent about that ). If only HR was sick and HE left for a few weeks. That would result in a huge party by all SRGMP viewers across the globe.
(While I was watching this episode with my family, my father turned on the ‘MUTE’ button every time HR opened his trap.)
HR is clearly insecure (as the very wise people before me have already shrewdly pointed out). He fears Raja the most, due to his initial popularity and the enormous amount of support of Vishal and Shekhar, the REAL ‘gurus’ on the show. He is insecure about Poonam, and rattles on about her family life to prevent people from voting for her (what a disgusting, manipulative git that HR is.) And he is even insecure about Amanat! How? The proof is in this very episode!
Remember in Amanat’s performance, Vishal (so graciously, even to someone other than his own contestant) said that if Kareena wanted to dance to his ‘You are my Soniya’ she could (and she did). And what exactly did HR do? He TOLD them to replay Aneek’s track so he could sing it AGAIN and he TOLD Kareena that she should go up on the stage with him. If that wasn’t enough, when Aditya went up onto the stage to join them, you can clearly see HR pulling (JERKING) him back!! I don’t know about you, but such crap really makes my blood boil.
As for their performances:
Amanat: his first song was very good, I really loved it. Amanat is clearly a singer who can sing a variety of songs, from fast paced to solemn to love songs to patriotic. His second song was good; but it wasn’t spectacular. He could have sung it a lot better I feel. But you have to admit; he radiates some kind of charisma…doesn’t he?
Poonam: Poor girl was ill, so naturally she didn’t sing very well. Her second song was a poor selection I feel; even if she wasn’t ill, I don’t think she would have sung it all that well because her voice isn’t suited for the song (Sumedha’s voice is, however, as somebody already mentioned above). I certainly hope she isn’t penalized and doesn’t get out…
Raja: He sang solid performances, I think. Nothing horrendous, but nothing mind-blowing either. His Omkara wasn’t as excellent as everyone said it was…Abbhas sang it in SVO quite a long time back, and his rendition was brilliant. Raja’s attempt pales in comparison to that performance.
Vishal said that ‘Raja is back’ but I don’t think he’s back in ‘full throttle’ yet. Perhaps nervousness is what is making him more subdued, but I can’t help but miss the old “Vande Mataram” spirit he displayed when he sang that song in the Patriotic episode.
Aneek: He did so very well today, especially the last song which is one of my favorite songs. I would think so much more highly of him if HR wasn’t hyping him so much. HR is making people hate him as well as Aneek by showing a clear lack of modesty and decency. He is also displaying lack of a central nervous system (read: his brains have gone missing).
I CAN’T BELIEVE who got out! HR’s antics…they can’t be WORKING, can they!? I certainly hope not! Then we all know that Raja will be the next one to go. That’s probably his plan; eliminate Poonam and Raja, and leave Amanat and Aneek in the finals because he feels that Amanat can’t win anyway.
In short, HR is an imbecile.
