Amanat and Raja…u both deserve to be in the contest…they way u sing is very impressive…Raja especially ur ‘Akheen nu chain na aye’ was awesome….:)

Aneek u r one of the best in the contest but HR is bothering me too much…He is such an expression less creature. .:S
But sometimes he turns into..What do u call it….ermmm
yea ‘RAKSHAS’…:S
And the way he was promoting Aneek’s love story..:S
Seriously he was sounding so stupid…
I think by the end of the show he should deeply apologise to all the judges and the viewers…

Aneek isn’t a complete singer; he isn’t versatile; Raja has given much better performaces than Aneek and continues to do so; I hope audience can take Aneek out and get Himesh out of the show.

and HIMESH, pls pls pls STOP begging votes for Aneek. Aneek is a good singer and he will get his votes..No need for you to beg votes like this..

There are 3 dimensions which people give weightage to when the listen to SRGMP.
1> Singing/lyrics/Contexts
2> Where that person comes from and his expressions(some people make a difficult song look easy and most do the converse)
3> Their Guru’s, guru’s antics, the contestant’s drama factor…everything else which people lump into something they call an X factor.

Surprisingly (maybe not so suprisingly), the “Junta” gives a lot more weightage to 2,3. The few congnoscenti prefer 1.

If one takes a truly dispassionate approach, I think the rating would be -
1> Amanat
**Clear winner on performances till date**
2> Poonam/Aneek (alias Oink, both have been performing pretty good till now. Though I have a bias towards Poonam more than Aneek for the “soul” she puts in her singing and her range)

I think Raja is very raw and makes a lot of mistakes. Good, but stands exposed at this level…

On Sumedha and some of the comments earlier, again in data analysis one tends to use the Bell-Curve to analyze feedback. For any position there would be a group of people in the 20 percentile who would have a contra opinion. Again statistics proves that its an useless effort to convince all…

I think clearly Zee has had a word with Hamish Besharmiya, as witness his controlled behavior and adherence to decorum in this episods. Plus Zee itself seems to have changed a bit, the jokers dancing in the aisles seem to have reduced drastically as also the jokers prancing around on the stage. Its looking more and more like a staid talent scouting competition. If one petition can do this, maybe this should become a regular feature.

The CToE(Conspiracy Theory of Elimination) has been proved right. Sumedha got “voted out” much before Poonam leaving 3 Gharanas like last time. Hamish and ID are still scratching each other’s back’s and VS without BL are going to get knocked out next.

I get the feeling that since this is the first time we have a Woman President in India and people are opening up to the notion of Women Equality(if not superiority) Poonam might just become the winner (certainly deserves it).

If one is choosing a true Bollywood singer I would lean towards Aneek.

If one were to choose purely on singing talent it should be Amanat.

Also, I think at this stage the gurus/mahagurus should be introduced and a weightage given to their choices and some to the SMS’s. Clearly the “junta” does not know which contestant is singing better and so this choice by democracy may yield the same kind of meritorious candidates we see in the parliament/municipality.

Pls. vote down democracy and restore some meritocracy in this show.
