OMG i can’t believe that Besharmiya.. after Amanat’s performance he still goes and talk about Oink. AND that BL.. totally ignored Poonam when he had to make a comment on both sumedha and poonam’s performances!!!! WOW .. they truly made Poonam feel worthless.. when she had 1 of the best performance in the show.. and she’s still the one who hasn’t had any offers from any of them! ALL i can say is ALL THE BEST POONAM!! AND I’M REALLY SORRY NO ONE APRRECIATES YOU IN THE SHOW!

I am really glad that raja was on top this week. It’s a HUGE slap to that dumbass HR. He and his Aneek should just leave the show. It gets SOOO annoying everytime I begin to hear HR. No matter what the topic is, he’s going to bring up Aneek and will ask the audience to vote for him. Also, I don’t know why everyone here loves Amanat sooo much. He’s a good singer, but he can not be compared with Raja or Poonam. In fact, Harpreet was a MUCH better singer than amanat. I don’t like the way the judges are treating Poonam. All they ever freakin’ talk about is her home situation. Whenever she sings, you can see she’s very happy. And then those retarded judges, HR and ID, just keep talking about her mom and how all the moms in the world are voting for you. I mean, give the girl a chance to forget about that and be happy. Anyways, I really hope Aneek gets voted out next week so that HR can leave the show.
I feel sorry for people who have to watch this on TV.. they can’t fast forward through @($@&#)($ Besharmiya’s silly ass dialogues

Anyway, I am surprised he did not create a scene á la ‘ab to Aneek ko bhi jaana hoga’, thank god he at least let Sumedha leave with some dignity.

Excuse the double post, but I felt the urge to comment more elaborately on each performance. They were all truly noteworthy.
Raja –> he’s back! @wahidur, I understand what you mean by Raja not being too versatile. He does do especially well in Sukhwinder’type of songs. However, I feel Raja is unique. He has that ‘rustic’ (< = in a good way) quality in his voice that sets him apart from the rest. That's why his 'Naina' 'Ruth Aa Gayee Re', and this 'Ramta Jogi' are so haunting. Not 100% versatile, but irreplacable in my opinion.
Aneek –> I feel his choice of songs is hurting him. He has a lot of melody in his voice, he should make use of it by selecting more songs like ‘In Dino’ or ‘Is pyar ko main kya naam doon’. So, let ppl talk that he is a Sonu-copier. Remember they are all starting singers, everybody starts by copying and then only creates a niche for themselves. All of them have a particular favorite singer whose songs they choose often(Raja -> Sukhwinder, Poonam ->Jaspinder, Richa Sharma…ok granted Amanat is truly versatile in that aspect), but that doesn’t mean they are not great beginning singers.
Amanat –> He did well as always, but I feel sometimes he comes across as a bit overconfident. Especially today. I’m saying this specially because he usually seems levelled and humble. But hey, it helped his performance. Go Amanat!
Poonam –> what can I say about Poonam, she rocks so much, kya power hai uski awaaz mein, aur ek baar bhi awaaz tooti nahin.
It was amazing how she sang even with the tension of possible elimination. Before final round spin began, she looked and sounded as though she would take her possible defeat gracefully and as if she wouldn’t mind being voted out.
Sumedha –> I felt really sorry for her
but to be fair this is the correct time for her to be voted off, compared to the rest. But her ‘Chupke Se’ and ‘Baahon ki dharmiyaan’ were ’superb, mindblowing fantastic’ (to quote Himesh :P)
Poonam ya Amanat, jeet aapki ho, mujhko aap dono se ek bure performance bhi yaad nahin and that consistency should be rewarded.
Glad to see that the petition worked because Himesh behaved little restrained.
Raja, Amanat and Poonam were the best and they should be in the finals.
Aneek started on a totally flat tone though he picked up later in the song. He was at the bottom for this performance.
Wonder why Himesh has such droopy looks during Raja, Amanat and Poonam’s performances. And there was no need to remind “junta” about Raja’s not so great songs and Poonam’s sympathy vote. We already know that.
I think we need another petition that should read “Petition to restrict Himesh’s comments to 3 words—”Thank You contestant”. Kapeesh—-
All of the remaining four are very good singers, much better than II and VOI finalists. I also agree with posts above that Raja, Poonam and Amanat should be in the finals. Aneek sings in sur and taal, but his voice sometimes is too soft. Raja is an amazing singer with such a unique voice, that it just gives you goosebumps (though not as versatile and consistently performing as Poonam and Amanat). I don’t understand why Poonam hasn’t got an offer yet.
The winner of the finals will be so hard to decide: I think it will depend on their finals’ performance.
I pray to God that Poonam doesn’t get voted out next week (since she had the least votes today, but I guess that’s because she goofed up a little bit in her last performance, but today she sang very well and definitely better than Aneek).
VS and ID are very good mentors, and they support all the contestants, unlike HR and BL.

Yes, Poonam is a deserving winner.
But how can u say she doesn’t have good looks? She ehas such sp. pretty eyes and they light up so nicely when she is singing. She in my opinion is a pretty, and also dusky girl without star attitude.

Amanat was also equally brilliant. I felt sad that Poonam could not sing well because of her throat problem but she deserves to be in the top 3. Somehow I did not like Raja’s performance…it was okay…but nothing great!!! So, Aneek and Amanat rock!!!
Some thoughts.
There are 3 dimensions which people give weightage to when the listen to SRGMP.
1> Singing/lyrics/Contexts
2> Where that person comes from and his expressions(some people make a difficult song look easy and most do the converse)
3> Their Guru’s, guru’s antics, the contestant’s drama factor…everything else which people lump into something they call an X factor.
Surprisingly (maybe not so suprisingly), the “Junta” gives a lot more weightage to 2,3. The few congnoscenti prefer 1.
If one takes a truly dispassionate approach, I think the rating would be -
1> Amanat
**Clear winner on performances till date**
2> Poonam/Aneek (alias Oink, both have been performing pretty good till now. Though I have a bias towards Poonam more than Aneek for the “soul” she puts in her singing and her range)
I think Raja is very raw and makes a lot of mistakes. Good, but stands exposed at this level…
On Sumedha and some of the comments earlier, again in data analysis one tends to use the Bell-Curve to analyze feedback. For any position there would be a group of people in the 20 percentile who would have a contra opinion. Again statistics proves that its an useless effort to convince all…
I think clearly Zee has had a word with Hamish Besharmiya, as witness his controlled behavior and adherence to decorum in this episods. Plus Zee itself seems to have changed a bit, the jokers dancing in the aisles seem to have reduced drastically as also the jokers prancing around on the stage. Its looking more and more like a staid talent scouting competition. If one petition can do this, maybe this should become a regular feature.
The CToE(Conspiracy Theory of Elimination) has been proved right. Sumedha got “voted out” much before Poonam leaving 3 Gharanas like last time. Hamish and ID are still scratching each other’s back’s and VS without BL are going to get knocked out next.
I get the feeling that since this is the first time we have a Woman President in India and people are opening up to the notion of Women Equality(if not superiority) Poonam might just become the winner (certainly deserves it).
If one is choosing a true Bollywood singer I would lean towards Aneek.
If one were to choose purely on singing talent it should be Amanat.
Also, I think at this stage the gurus/mahagurus should be introduced and a weightage given to their choices and some to the SMS’s. Clearly the “junta” does not know which contestant is singing better and so this choice by democracy may yield the same kind of meritorious candidates we see in the parliament/municipality.
Pls. vote down democracy and restore some meritocracy in this show.

what a performance by ANEEK on Saturday!!! He is great. He is just amazing!!!. It seems to me the Singing is in his BLOOD. Keep it up ANEEK . AMANAT was good too today. The final result should be :

Amanat - yaar, you are a versatile singer .. ya have proved it once again.. ya can sing any song..Guyz, pls vote for him .. don’t let him go back to pakistan sooon…

Himesh is extremely bias and cunniving. I have faith in all the viewers that are noticing what Himesh is doing on Saregamapa; He’s been picking on Raja because He sees Raja as a threat.
Aneek isn’t a complete singer; he isn’t versatile; Raja has given much better performaces than Aneek and continues to do so; I hope audience can take Aneek out and get Himesh out of the show.
