i was quite astonished when i read Aneek is again the #1 contestant acc. to public votes. There is another reason, Aneek is getting blindly support from Westbengal and Assam audience. I think the audiences should be fare also to another great singers like Amanat (a God gifted singer), Raja, Poonam. Aneek’s mentor Himesh is always shouting for him. Both are spoiling the stage image. I would like to request the Indian audience that they should be strict in voting. Even Aneek wins the saregamapa. Like Debojit (winner of 2005 saregamapa) he doesn’t have bright future in music field. Because like Aneek,Debojit India has million of singers. Indian music industry really needs singer like Amanat, Raja, Poonam.

on a serious note, i think she went alot further then she should have. evidence, when the guru’s asked her to sing mayya mayya a second time…this was (a) a lifeline for mauil and (b) a sign of favouritsm…has anyone else been given the chance to sing again? NO!…
from watching this show since it started, Mauli was trying to act all famous BEFORE she has actually made it into the inductry and looked down on the other contestants.
Harpreet and to an extent Abhijit should have remained. Abijit was unfortunate that he had BD as his guru as BD was so much up Mauli’s back end lol….Abijit should have gone to ID gharana, at least we would have seen his true talent. And as for Harpreet, he sang his heart out the week before, but yet Mauli got more votes? how?….and when the gurus said that Harpreet wasnt hyped as much as the others, whose fault was that?? –>>> VS…

People should remember when SRGMP shows that he is from the gharana where Amanat’s father and uncle were winner and rnner ups in the past show. I would not take it on heart if he is not number 1 because I know, and most of yu guys do, that he is THE ONE.
Aneek is doing pretty good for the last few episodes, no double about it. But HR is just over reacting on his performances and neglecting betters ones.
I really want the old selection criteria back where the decision is made by judges, instead of public voting.

Good to hear that “Mauli is OUT”. Amanat should be Number 1
After Mauli, I think Poonam has the right time to go now. Because Sumedha is far better than Poonam. Mussarat can also be in bottom 2 next time I guess.
True that mauli have been giving some bad performances a couple of times, but her last performance ‘namak ishq ka’ which she was voted aut for, was one of her best ever performances. No other girl can hardly sing that song in the way she did. her voice sounded so natural and perfect. She should have been voted out, but not for this song. I don’t understand how “the WORLD’S” janta is voting.

They are different with powerful voices and skills. They are singing well from the first day they were introduced to the show. But the must be very careful about their song selections. They are the best irrespective of the final results.

Sumedha does not open her mouth to sing ever…She has no throw to her voice…Every time that she tries to go a little bit out of her range her voice cracks…
Poonam is in the league of Nihira, while Sumedha is a cute little Karoeke singer…
Don’t get me wrong, she has a very sweet voice, but not very talented…

Mussarat is a genuine singer..in his genre.

and Amanat is also very talented…

The bad thing about this show is that Gurus are not analyzing the flaws and iproovement areas…everyone wants to give a 10 and promote his guys..
Aneek can do without HR’s publicity…He is a 1000 times better than HR.
But then the show is all about marketing and making money !! So lets just enjoy the performance ..without possibly trying to rate the best.
I don’t think Musarrat is out due to the reason the way he sung last week and according to me he should be at the top this week if you go by the performance. I’ll be very shocked if Musarrat is out, it means that voting is done based on likes and dislikes. I am pretty confident that it’s either Sumedha or Mauli who got eliminated. I also read that Musarrat is at No2 behind Aneek who i think don’t deserve to be at No1 position. Everyone knows that Musarrat was best last week and i would like to say again that voting is not done singing but on people likes and dislikes which is ethically wrong. I hope people will make those contestants No1 who deserve the most rather those who don’t. I think Aneek came at the top because of jerk like HR, he is lobbying for Aneek. HR can’t see himself losing to other Judges and he wants to win at every cost. I have seen HR in almost all the program begging for votes for his chela Aneek. He should stop doing this and let the best person win.

Mauli did not deserve to be in top 10 but whatever it maybe she did make the show interesting. She will still make big in India..no not through singing though but by other means.
Aneek number 1? I don’t know what is wrong with people. Aneek CAN NOT SING HIGH NOTES. In the song from APNE he skipped antra because he knew he could not sing high notes and it will be noticed. So he did not bother with it. HR came and sang the antra. If you still believe that deserves to be the voice of India then that’s a shame for us Indians.

I don’t understand why so many people are against Aneek. Here are some points to defend him…
1. Every great singer (right from Lataji, Ashaji to Sonu) have been compared to other well known singers at the initial stage. Aneek must be a good singer and that’s why people are comparing him with Sonu. Full credit goes to him
2. At this tender age of 18 he has shown great versatility in every kind og songs. That speaks volumes of his talent
3. Though he came in late he immediatly got connected with the audiance, and that’s why he is getting votes.
4. You guys perhaps did not watch SRGMP Bengali. Aneek’s strength is in classical singing. I am surprised that he is singing popular bollywood songs here. Probably to get votes!
So please leave the kid alone unless you have something against Bengalis.

While we attended a Adnan Sami Concert in UK, Anandji’s grand-daughter made a special appearence on stage and belted a Asha fast number, which was so bad and she expected a happy crowd.
She was as worse as Mauli and I feel Anandji-bhai, must have looked at her as his Grand-daugther. If the organisers had provided they might have even danced to a dandiya tune.
Bappida and Anandji-bhai, you guys understand music more, its just that many people on this forum have been listening to bad singers like Lataji,Ashaji,Rafi,Mukesh,Kishore. Hence we cannot spot the great talents like Mauli, as our ears are not tuned for it.

I hope,it is not true as she is the best among all the singers.i did download songs for raja.poonam,amanat & Junaid & when u listen u realize that only poonam has sung without hardly any mistakes & all sorts of songs! she is truly versatile,if she is eleminated then i will never ever forgive Zee,Bhappi & all so called mahaguru’s & then stupid music senseless Indian janta!
i hope everyone downloads all songs & listen to them rationally,with surround sound or best in ur car driving on expressway, to accept my point.

I must agree I hated Mauli in the beginning, and more so when it was obvious they favored her instead of Sreshtha even before the voting had started. But during the end Mauli really seemed to be improving. I liked her Ali Morey Angana, and Namak. One thing Mauli should take care in the future is reduce the nasal tone when she takes the high notes and try not to screech like a fishwife, other than that she was getting better.
But this is for sure, seeing her American background, we should really give her credit for coming so far, learning the language and mingling with everyone like she was from here. I appreciate that. I have ABCD cousins and know a lot of ABCDs but I don’t think they would have come so far and been so comfortable with the new envvironment like her.

I dont know whether she was crying because she could not inflict pain on anyone anymore or because she thought she was better than the others.

Himesh had done that in Challenge 2005 also and failed miserably, hahaha. He was over hyping Vineet, to an extent where people who initially liked Vineet went against him only because they hated Himesh.
Aneek is really a good singer and he does not need this unnecessary hype. He is capable of pulling the votes by himself, purely by his singing. But if Himesh continues to do what he is doing pretty soon the brunt will fall on poor Aneek. And Aneek is also acting stupid by asking Himesh “Kya Woh Mujhe Milegi?” I am sure Himesh must have asked him to say this, he could have asked him that question behind the stage also if he was really into it. Himesh should stop playing with Aneek’s career with his stunts.
And I don’t understand what has happened between Himesh and Mussarrat suddenly. Even last time when it was Himesh’s turn to comment on Mussrrat’s performance, he started talking about Aneek and ignored Mussarrat despite the fact that he had sung so well. What the hell is going on!!! I was getting worried if Mussarrat was going to get eliminated because of this bullshit. Thank God he is still in. And obviously Himesh is not able to tolerate that.
I also hate it when Himesh says “Mai mere saare fans ko kehta hoon ke isko vote do ya usko vote do”. Do does he think he is??? GRRRR!!!
I guess after so many days, justice has been done to Shrestha ( I don’t think much people will still remember her )….That bugger anandji made a mockery of music by picking mauli ahead of shrestha citing the reason of “confidence” !!!!!!!! I still remember, the singing of shrestha was flawless on that day and mauli was just unbearable…
Today’s episode was very relaxing to the fact that Mauli is finally leaving the stage which should have happened a long ago. Aaah … my ears still pain remembering those loud noises she made, but now after her riddance its the time we actually would be missing out some real singers who would now be eliminated in the future.
In my opinion, people who copy others and sing restrict themselves to the same voice, so fall down quickly. This happened to Vineet and now probably the same would happen to Aneek because he sounds good when he sings Sonu style. And I dont feel music composers will ever think about Aneek when a choice will be placed between choosing Sonu and Aneek and for some other option Vineet. But they are kids and this is the best thing that has happened to them so far. They still have time to build there future.
About Mussarat and Amanat, I am captured into Mussarat’s voice as soon as he starts singing. I love to hear him again and again. But the point to consider is that he cannot be suited to rock, happy, light mood songs. He is a maestro of intense ballads and sufi tones. And since music like sufi rock are the rage of current generation he has a bright future. Amanat in my opinion can easily get lost in a hoard of talented singers across this competition. He has a very good voice but I feel the power is less as compared to Mussarat’s power (not comparing the jonars). But I am disappointed to hear HR speaking praises for Aneek and not Mussarat.
Raja is rajasthani in his tone. He sings AR RAhman and Sukhwindar but the execution is a blant one if you try to place him in a playback mode (an album/band of his own might do him wonders). But playback is something which I am considering as a future platform for these guys and Raja is not much to the mark in clartiy as Mussarat or Amanat.
Finally coming to the girls, Sumedha and Poonam, I don’t feel any of them has the X factor. Both are good but lack the power of a brilliant female voice which can range from the queens like Lataji, Alka Yagnik, Kavita Khrishnamurty to Sunidhi Chauhan, Shubha Mudgal etc who make listeners get of their seats and cheer.
My favorites in order:
1. Mussarat
2. Amanat
3. Aneek
4. Raja
5. Sumedha
6. Poonam

nano i think u are out of ur mind stop watching shows like saregamapa and concentrate on the sas-bahu rubbish that will suit ur acumen more and i think mauli is definitely going to get a role in one of the serials as far as singing is concerned she is no special and will not be able to make a stand in the music industry considering the backlog of winners from previous shows already in queue
I think Aneek is the most versatile of the lot. If Himesh stops unnecessarily backing him up he will reach #1.His throw of words and his emotion associated with the song are really cool.
Raja surely comes 2nd in my opinion. His voice is magical.His garam masala was better than the Adnan one.
3rd should be Mussarat. Although he has got an awesome voice I feel he can only sing the Sufi songs well (which will restrict him to some extent).
4th in my view is Amanat. If it would have been a month earlier I would have voted him #1 but nowadays he seems to be singing with a little less tempo.He is a solid singer though.
5th will be Poonam. She is the best among the girls.

I think from now on all of our voting will differ. There will be no point arguing as all (except Sumedha) are excellent singers. So I think that we should all just sit and watch (AND enjoy).
have you guys seen today’s Aneek’s performance? Great performance. I mentioned it earlier he is such a versatile singer….. Raja, Musarat, Amanat all are very good singer but they can sing only particular type of songs. But today Aneek sang Kisorda & Manna dey’s duet song by himself. He is true singer…. believe me.

Mauli is 100% OUT and Bappi Da is also OUT. I saw the episode and Bappi Da has decided to not remain in the show anymore because he’s worried about SRGMP TRP. HUH, What the **** TRP. Does he think people only like **** faces, not singing. He thinks wrong… I wish BD should never join this show again because no more needed people like BD. He’s just only a particial person and he accepted that Mauli was only in the show for showpiece to increase the TRP of the show.
I hate the way HR promotes Aneek, hides his mistakes, and gives him easy songs. If Aneek becomes the voice of SRGMP that’s a shame for ZTV. I would hope that people realize that Aneek is not a complete singer but a hype. I hope he goes out soon.
I agree with you guys about Mauli, however I don’t think she is a horrible singer, I just think that she has no variation to her voice. She can only sing one type of songs in only only genre. I hated it when she sang i her nazzalllll mauli voice..ahaahahaahhhh..thank god she is gone! BTW, “Mauli Mata” was such a funny name to give her.
I am also sick of that girl Poonam. Her sob story is her only basis to stay on the show. It’s emotional blackmail. The show is not about who has the best drama story, but who sings the best. Her song on today’s program didn’t even fit in to the show…she sucks! Aneek or Raja should win this.

After such a long time.. We had some good news about SAREGAMAPA. Of course ZEE has got its business very correct and they have removed Mouli so late for their benift.. The same thing could have been done .. if we had a neutral system. But those who are blaming ANANDJi.. should nto forgot that in that episode.. Anandji was about give the Godd and correct decision, but the Bas***d Himesh forced them to listen to Maiya maiya by MOULI and then only they have changed his decision. So the ORIGINAL spoiler of the Show is Himesh.. Fuc*** always talking nonsense of “relationship.. emotions..Perhaps he belives the whole world is MAD like HIM..
Eventhough Its late.. Its not the worst.. Imagine guys.. If RAJA or Poonam would have been elimited for the same.

I think this show produces great playback singers not classical vocalists!
All of these singers are trained classically and they use their knowledge to sing pop songs.
No one wants to test the acumen of singing classical songs here, I hope…:)
BD must have had a nice relationship with Mauli….hehehe.. which explains BD quitting himself if Mauli quits.

Nobody can compete on that… but what about Romantic,Comedy, Sad, ROCK and others? Mussaat is not comfortable with that. Only Aneek & Amanat are versatile. Poor Mauli, in my opinion, is hated too much. I admit she is not versatile, but then, tell me who is versatile except Aneek and Amanat in this show (for that matter in any talent show). Her ouster was deserved. Even, I should say it would have been fairer if she had been out a couple of episodes earlier. But then, there are others who got more than they deserved (e.g.- Joy), but none got so much unanimous hysterical hatred. Probably, “Hate Mauli” has gained some fashion status.

You are correct all these singers are trained classical singer and now they are using their “hunar” in filmy songs as here one one is looking for a great classical singer……
Great classical singer cannot be made …they are just born somewhereand some day…we have no control over them. They are god gifted person, Like Bade Gulam Ali, Pandit Jasraj, Ravi sankar(instrument), Bhimsen Joshi etc ….. We cannot choose them by our vote…. They are of upper level..” tumhare –hamare soch ke and pahuch ke bahut upar” So let not talk about Classical guys…no one can be like the above mentioned people.
Amanat initially was too good now a days he is not at his best I think from the day he sang for BL he might have thought “meri to nilkar pardi” so he became little “dhila”…so I think now it’s the duty of his mentor to make him more stronger as he is very very potential.
For Aneek HR is doing no good by telling all this love story, he is loosing is fan…bechara bali ka bakra. Aneek is equally potential as Amanat.

I think you didn’t hear his song “main jahan rahoon”, it has both high notes and low notes. And his performance was much better than the original song.
Good to know reading ur comments, that u admitted “All are making mistakes” & that includes Aneek too. And Aneek also makes lot of mistakes but no judge seems to care and inform janta abt his mistakes as they do for other singers.
The worst thing to have happened to Aneek is HR. Himesh is very full of himself right now, and grossly over-estimates his “star” power. He has proven that he is short on humility and has no class. But as we the junta has so blatantly reminded “Bappida” that we watch the show because we love music and know the difference between good music, and undeserved hype and promotion.
And coming to Bappi, his behavior last night was inexcuseable. Wonder how Sumedha felt about what she was worth to her “Guru”.
As for Aneek, I think it unfair of people to knock him because of his idiot guru. He is a very good singer as is Amanat. My thought however is that we are living in a age of specialization, and those who bring something unique and different have a better chance of going far.
And lastly, my hats off to india and the indian public for being so great and unbiased. Truly a mark of a great and mature nation. It has opened a lot of eyes, and made people everywhere realize that if we live as one we can be one. For those few, who are still trying to regionalize or nationalize this event, please don’t….

Atleast Mauli’s there, she had something to reach where she is. Not many people would go on stage and perform the way she did so give her some credit. Besides even is there was drama, we’re not the musical gurus, they know what people want. She made it to the top 8 because people wanted her. Just like you and me need training to forward our career, she needs it too. I must say how people are ripping her apart for pursuing a career which, the music directors say she’s good at. To all those that are there and all those who have been eliminated, you are where you are because you have a special talent don’t let ignorant haters get you down.

I believe Mussarat can sing all type of songs. If you remember when Asha ji told him to sing a different song he did really well. The problem is that stupid HR labeled him as only being able to sing sufi songs. Now the janta just follows what the judges says and believe their words like Gods and think that he can’t sing other songs. I read all these comments and I am like wow these people say exactly what the judges what them to say. That’s sad that you people don’t have the brains on your own and just follow what others tell you.
Aneek gets easy songs day after day yet HR labels it as a very hard song. Yesterday song was hard??? LOL with so many pauses and breath opportunity anyone can school that song. Does that make him a great singer? NO. The problem is Aneek has not been labeled yet but the truth is Aneek can’t sing classical songs. How come he has not been labeled. It is because when you label someone to be able to sing certain songs they loose the value. This is exactly what they did with Mussarat. If Aneek was so perfect he would be getting contracts left and right. But how come he has not gotten any when Junaid and Raja have gotten them. It is because the real music directors who want singers to work for them know what they want in a singer. They don’t want Aneek I can tell you that much. They know his mistakes and know that they don’t need his voice. I honestly don’t care if he wins or not but I do feel sorry for him because at the end he will have no work just like the last year winner. To get work one needs to be unique. Can Aneek compete with big players?? NO NO NO! He can’t! The say oh he sounds like Sonu. Pleaaaaaaaseeeeee give me a break. If that were the case he would have 100 contracts on his hand. HR hates Sonu and is always competing with him so he trys to tell the janta that we have another Sonu and Sonu is replaceable. HR is someone who doesn’t appreciate the people who put him there. Such as Salman Khan. I am starting to think that HR is promoting Aneek because he knows Aneek is weak and won’t interfere with his work as a singer. On the other hand I am starting to believe HR is scared of Mussarat. I hope Aneek fans realize that Aneek is not a complete singer. When you are a singer you can’t skip antra. I know Mussarat is out next but I can guarantee you that Mussarat will have work and Aneek won’t. Really do feel sorry for him.

Ok we have same taste. But others are good also. Every singer has his own genre. Mussarat and Raja is best in their gharana among the contestants.What is shocking kno people are using this site not to support their contestants. But to abuse others whom they don’t like. You just read what some of them has written or what type of language they are using in “Review of 7th sep episode of “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa”.
What a lot of hullabaloo abotu ‘versatile’. Who cares if somebody can sing 10 different type of songs in just an above average mmanner? Mussarat going out OF a singing competion at no. 6 is realLy really odd! Something so wrong about it, it stinks! The guy is a true singer and nobody can deny that. Eahc and every tru singer has a unique and distinct style and nobody can copy this style exactly. THAT IS WHAT MARKS A GREAT SINGER.Himesh messed him up and BAPPI DA WORKED RIGHT THROUGH THE SHOW TO DOWNGRADE HIM.

So how you have decided Aneek is most hated? Many times he got vote over Mussarat and many others. So, how can u say that? Use ur brain before saying something. And there is nothing to hate any contestant. You may not like his singing but nothing to hate.
