Petition to stop Love Story Drama on Saregamapa
For the past few weeks in SaReGaMaPa, we have been watching the Triangular Love Story drama involving three contestants of the show, being taken up by the mentors.
Since then much to the discomfort of the three participants who have been named in this triangular love story, its been advertised and hyped repeatedly week after week and this week it crossed all limits.
This week those involved mentors made a mockery of the girl and treated her like a lifeless doll, while refusing to hear any comments made by the two guys denying it thus subjecting her and the other two participants to a lot of embarrassment by making them dance to their tunes and their repeated insinuations of this supposed love story was in real poor taste.
In the name of decency, lets all file a petition to please stop this charade at once and respect the dignity of the participants and to stop these fabricated love dramas, and stop such types of harassments once and for all.

I agree with you about Aftab bhai.
On the ASVOI front, Toshi has been an amazing revelation. What a singer, his elimination, was a surprise and a big let down.
I myself am looking forward to Toshi coming back. Abhilasha went off key(besur) a few times in the last performance but was good. The other singers are average. Irfan made a lot of mistakes the last time.
SRGMP had a wild card entry round where Raja and Harpreet managed to make an entry. They are already into the final 5 so from here onwards there is no looking back, no wild cards. They might have to modify the format if they want to keep the show alive, right now they seem to be grasping at straws.
On the other hand, ASVOI looks poised to have the last say in the TRP world. There have been some shenanigans in ASVOI as well but nothing compared to what SRGMP has degenerated into.
Gajendra has built his life around this franchise and knows how to give other channels a run for their money. On the other hand Zee/SRGMP is run by a bunch of neophytes at this stage.

Hi .. am posting here for the 1st time … I too have signed the petition and written to zee TV against this third class publicity stunts.
I would like to mention few things here :
1. As Musharrat got eliminated due to Himesh’s ignorance i think Aneek is getting all the undeserved hatred from the audience /junta because of Himesh too so we must realise that he is doing no good to both his pupils. Aneek and sumedha are definitely too young to tackle this situation as smartly as Amanat does. They are the porro puppets in the hands of the so CALLEd Mentors and the channel .
Even if they want to raise a voice they cannot as they have struggled hard enough to get here and if they revolt these well established ppl in the industry they fear for their career . Poor kids .. i really pity them.
2. its clearly a drama and neither aneek nor amanat loves her . it was clear when all three of them performed the mein khiladi tu anadi song .
So guys CRITISE THE GURUS AND THE CHANNEL AND NOT THE POOR PUPPETS (PARTICIPANTS) . Let not emotions overtake our rational thinking about music

I guess, Indrani might be somewhat right. Most of the people, whoever is signing the petition is little bit afraid of Aneek.
But whatever happens, I am pretty sure, Aneek and Amanat are going to be in the final. No petition can stop them…100% guaranteed…not even Himesh!!! It is Zee TV’s plan and I guess, they deserve to be there in the final too. Personally, I wanted Aneek and Musarrat to be in the final and Poonam in the no. 3. But, as Musarrat is out, they are the top 2…
Get a life guys…it’s just a show. People have better things than signing a petition for every damn thing.

This is an online world and everything is so damn easy here..signing a petition just takes couple of mouse clicks..no one would have bothered if it was offline, like sending a letter to zee or doing a dharna or a protest in person in front of the zee office…

I have already signed the petition and I wish the team good luck but ya…it’s true that quite a few online petitions have happened in the past for various things and I don’t think anyone takes them seriously. I agree with whoever mentioned earlier about worrying about better things like poverty and all. These kind of love stories are so common now a days on Television and even in our community, schools and stuff. All the serials from Ektha Kapoor where every bahurani gets married 3-4 times or even more isn’t that ridiculing Indian culture. They show young girls getting married to men of their father’s age, both mother and daughter getting married to 1 guy, younger and elder sister getting married to the same guy and all. Indian people are very much addicted to all these serials (even my family members. I wish people quit watching these kind of crap, stop talking about them and quit popularizing them. They are just actors and singers! We are giving them such a big scene and making them so popular that they are even contesting elections. What are we getting out of it? We are spoiling our time, spoiling our brain, getting upset over a spoiling culture and spending our time on petitions like these. And in the end who gets profited by these…”Zee Tv, Sony Tv, Star Plus, Ektha Kapoor and everyone else except we”.
And I have noticed from earlier posts that people who carry similar opinions are getting criticized seviourly. Please restrain from doing so. These are just opinions. And don’t use any foul language please. Lets not fight on this stupid Zee TV program.
I signed the petition and I am happy to be part of it but it would have pleased me more if the petition was against Zee Tv,all other Tv channels and all other programs where they showcase Indian culture and tradition in a wrong manner and do stuff to hurt it.

Why are u tryin to give it an impression that this is some kind of conspiracy against Aneek.
This petition is not something that is against India in favor of Pakistan, or against Aneek in favor of Amanat, or against hindu in favor of a muslim. Its a petition in favor of right against wrong, good conduct vs bad conduct. We as an audience, who love music have the right to demand clean & pure form of entertainment, afterall we are paying for Zee subscription.
If you don’t want to participate, thats fine. No problem. We respect your freedom of choice. Atleast dont dissuade others from participating in the right thing.
Maybe this will not having any effect on Zee TV but atleast some ppl are trying to bring a change, that will insure clean & pure entertainment. By participating in this petition, we will assuage our conscience.

It is seriously sad that all such drama is happening in a show like SRGMP, which was known for its music. Thanks to judges like himesh the quality of the show has completely gone down. Even in the previous season he did the same thing with vinit. Many good singers can get eliminated just because of this unnecessary hype. Also, I personally feel that himesh takes into consideration every possible thing but music while appealing for votes for the contestants.Like when he appeals for poonam he says dard,jazbaa,poonam,maa……., then for aneek, before the song he says that aneek is genuine..hardworking……..and then while begging for votes he says ki yeh ladka usse bahut pyaar karta hai…uske pyaar ko bachaao or whatever…..All such things must stop and the judges need to behave in a dignified way.Hope all this crap stops or this show will soon be called SA RE DRA MA PA.

Wow busy day at work and looks like a very busy day here too.
First of all there are no words to express my appreciation for the way this forum is standing up against the Zee drama. @$0.02, you have earned my utmost respect for your sincere effort in joining this protest and raising an objection against this drama.
This is after all a TV show. Who cares. But obviously there are some of us who do care because we have families and friends we care very deeply about. This feeling obviously extends to our workplace and to the sociey that we are a part of. We are seeing something that is indecent and we are protesting. Thats shows responsible behavior towards society. Which is good. Coz, we create the society we live in.
If an insignificant act of clicking the mouse with one finger on a web link, while sitting in my centrally air conditioned office, on a leather swirl chair, with a can of coke or a cup of steaming hot coffee, makes a miniscule change in the society for good, I see no reason why I wouldnt do it.
When I give alms to a poor man, I dont research into what that man is going to do with the money I place in his cup. No guarantee that he will use it to jalaofy his choolha for his family rather than a beedi for himself. That does’nt stop me from dropping a coin in his cup. I gotta do what I gotta do.
Lets look at it this way – It looks like “We the people” are running this TV show. If I may believe that! We vote for the contestants week after week (I think some of us still do). A contestant stays or goes because WE say so. So if we have that much power over this show, and if there is something going on on stage that is bothering us (offensive to some, boring to some), we have every right to voice our opinion to Zee. Is Zee going to do anything about it ? Who knows. Its Zee’s responsibility to handle that part.
If not anything else, at least this protest will bring MUSIC back into this show.

@ Indrani – I agree with you. Aneek is only 17 years old. He is immature, at his age ppl don’t have complete control over their emotions and actions. I don’t blame him for his senseless actions. His parents are responsible for it because they didn’t stop him from doing it and ofcourse Mr.Himesh for encouraging him. As far as singing is concerned — “He is a terrific Singer”. “Even though Saregamapa started framing dramas you are not ready to give up on Saregamapa, you are trying to fix it by sending petitions and stuff and you are trying to revive it…..similarly just because aneek started acting stupidly doesn’t mean he is a bad singer. If you people have patience to file this petition to Zee then you should have patience to create a petition asking Aneek to behave properly and email it to aneek”.
Whoever explained Mr.Bharadvaj earlier about “Nyaya” and stuff…if Nyaya should be done then it needs to be done to everything. Just filing 1 petition for 1 incident is not enough. Most of the people who are doing posts here are past certain age and everyone is quite matured. You don’t need to explain people about what is right and what is wrong. Everyone has their own opinion and one should be aware of that. And these opinions are bound to vary. thats why we say “People have Opinions” and not “People have Opinion”. So….take it easy and let people post their opinions without having to deal with immature criticism. Kindly don’t bully people to accept what you think is right. let them have their own views. There should be various flavours to an issue on a forum.
And whoever was explaining about “Mahatma Gandhi” and stuff…Sure gandhi was a great man. And everyone is aware of it..no need to repeat it. During early 90′s “Tendulkar” was considered to be a player with great strike rate (at that time his strike rate was around 80% or so). But now after a decade later everything has changed. Now 80% strike rate is no good. Now people with strike rates over 100% are enjoying the limelight. So…my point is Mahatma Gandhi’s approach was good and suited for 1920′s and 40′s. But in today’s society we need different approach. Times have changed and so has the society and its norms. So…kindly get over these correlations and comparisions.
As I have iterated twice that I have already signed the petition and I wish all you guys good luck. But kindly stop bullying others to change their opinions. Let them post what they feel is right. If someone doesn’t like it then just overlook it and stick to your path. But please don’t bully people.

It’s the sorry state of television these days, and India is not any different. HR is probably giving the mass audience what they ‘want’. Most hindi films use the same formula over and over. They want invoke some emotion in the audience. Controversy sells, they will continue with charade i believe. HR has done the exact same stunts in past seasons. In 2005 with Vinit. Even on his tour HR and Vinit played this out in front of a live audience. It’s all just entertainment, fabricated love triangle.

Who ever says that “Sumi” was enjoying it all needs to get a grip of reality. She is in a bad situation. If she refuses to go alonf then she risks offending and insulting her mentors, and we all know….Himesh wont allow her “roti, kapra aur makhan” if she gets on his wrong side.
Vishal and Shekar are obviously not digging the whole tamasha as you could see how distant they both were at the end of the show. I dont blame them for staying away, everytime Vishal has tried to put his point or beliefs across, himesh has shot him right down by shouting and screaming like a freaking mad man. And then you have the Ismail standing behind him like a paid bodygaurd doing his chamcha giry……uffff it makes me so mad!!

If Himesh is not telling lie, then aneek already has been rejected by Sumedha. So aneek can’t escape from his share of blame when he is accompanying Himesh drama even after rejection. To force love on someone is simply abuse/harrassment…….

Himesh guru ji, you are OUT of your GOOD senses. Literally, after Aneek’s performance you were begging 10 numbers from all the people present on the stage, gurus and the guests. Personally, Aneek’s performance was sub-standard. There was no energy in his singing compared to the ORIGINAL singer.

I can’t agree more with you shamimur.You said 100% correct. I simply don’t seem to get it that why is he insisting if he is told”NO” by her? What’s the point?I think he should be careful now, because after elimination Sumedha can easily slap his face in public if he ever brought that issue up.Same advice for his Guru.

Little concerned about Poonam. She is such a good singer and dignified young woman. Himesh keeps hammering on her background which makes her soooooo uncomfortable. It was all written on her face in the last episode.
I was very happy to hear that Aneek got some assignment for a bengali movie if Bhappi da is correct. Aneek can become kollywood star since bollywood already has Sonu Nigam.
Personally, I was never impressed by Aneek.
And yes, he should take his Guru Himesh with him to kollywood too.
