Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs International is going to start from 19th October…After the huge success of saregamapa challenge 2005, 2007 and Lil Champs, Zee TV is going to start ‘Little Champs International’. This time little champs will go internationally. So be ready for it.
If you are less than 13 yrs old and want to become little champs, then this is your last chance to participate in this show. The auditions in major cities already have finished. The last audition will take place at Mumbai…so be ready for it

Yesterday was elimination episode and Poonam got eliminated.. The show has now got its 3 finalists namely – Amanat, Aneek and Raja.. Today is the performance round and we will get to hear these finalists perform and do their best..[ Finals venue - Andheri Complex - Mumbai at 13th October.. It will be shown Live..]
So, lets quickly begin with the updates:
Om Shanti Om Stars on the show
The show begins and clipping of Om Shanti Om is shown.. Then they show the stage where Vishal and Shekhar are singing the song Ajab si and then they sing oh haseena.. On the stage portrait of SRK and Deepika Padukone is kept.. Shreyas and Deepika enter the stage when they are performing.. All are enjoying.. ID is shown whistling for the song..
Aditya greets VS, shreyas, Deepika and invites Farah Khan on stage..
FK – We all love SRGMP, contestants and most importantly the judges and ofcourse Aditya.. Deepika has already been introduced by Himesh and she is a fabulous actress..
Himesh – Farah is here and she is the best director in the industry.. Shreyas is an outstanding actor.. Deepika is going to get all the awards and is to be the best actress in the industry.. SRK is already a King Khan and six pack..
Farah says, Himesh is number one in positive energy..
Aditya asks Farah to say something about the movie.. She says, the music is already a hit and is number 1 in charts.. SRK is there, so everyone will watch it.. Next is Deepika, and then Shreyas and 4th is VS.. They have done excellent job.. She also says, the audience will get one CD each..
First Round – Om Shant Om songs
In the first round, contestants will sing OSO songs and is selected by VS themselves..
Amaant Ali
First to perform is Amanat.. He sings Ajab Si (singer -KK)
Vishal – This song of KK will suite him and it will be different in his voice..
Shekhar says the costume is suiting for him and that its as if he has come straight away from the promo..
ID – Sing in such a way that VS must feel, they could have taken you for this song and Farah should say that you sing all songs for her next movie
Amanat sings the song..

FK – First congratulation to ID for getting this diamond.. This is my fav song and I should agree with ID that there should be atleast one song that you should sing for my next film..
DP – Close to original.. I felt like crying.. you sang so well..
FK – You look like SRK and I will send Deepika and you should sing for her.. She goes to stage and Amanat sings again..
Shekhar – you sang now better than the take..
Shreyas – You were so good and as Deepika was there, you sang much better..
HR – Superb, Fantastic, Mindblowing.. Asks how much he wants.. He says, I have got crores.. He asks Amanat to remember that he is already committed and not look at Deepika.. Farah says – there is no harm in looking at her..
Vishal – You sang really well..
Shekhar – You have a great style and the way you sang Ajab si was great… He also sings that line for us..
ID – Izzat rakhli tumne.. If you had sung it bad, Farah would have asked me to take you back home.. You did a great job and your life is set..
Amanat says I feel proud to be here and singing this song and I am a great fan of SRK.. Farah says even SRK likes you and he always tell VS that these three are great singers
Next to perform is Aneek..
Vishal – This is the first time audience will get to hear this composition and I am sure, he will do it well..
Himesh – this is the first time you will hear it and judge based on the voice of the singer..
Aneek – I am a big fan of SRK and meeting him was great and I always follow him and thats why I have worn his style of dress too..
He sings Main agar kahoon.. (Singer – Sonu and Shreya)

FK – There couldnt be any better introduction to this song.. Outstanding,, You sing from heart..
HR – Superb Composition.. and you sang so well and deserve 100 from me..

Shreyas – Dil se gaaya.. You have a fantastic career.. Enjoyed the performance..

Aneek – I want Deepika to come on stage and dance with me.. Aneek sings and they dance.. Farah give standing ovation..
Shekhar – When you sing with Deepika its much better.. asks why? Aneek replies, its because we get the feeling..
ID – Very good expression.. I will ask Amanat to learn this expression from you.. give you 5000
Vishal – we will give you another 5000
Shekhar – Sang so well and thanks for such a good introduction
ID – The credit goes to VS and Farah.. If they dont get together, the music becomes flop..
HR – Your day is made as you have got such good comments..
Aneek – Thanks to VS and thanks to them as they made him talk to Sonu and Shreya..
Himesh – You have to pray for OSO and as you are a very good person, your prayers will be heard..

Next to perform – Raja Hasan
Raja sings Dard-e-disco..(singer – Sukhvinder sing)
Farah says superb and audience shout once more.. VS and ID come on stage.. Raja brings Shreyas and Deepika to stage.. They all sing together and have fun..
Farah – dancing is not allowed for me, but after listening to this song, me and my kid both were dancing.. She asks VS to have Raja’s version of song in the next CD.. she also adds that only sukhwinder can sing this song, but you proved it wrong.. Raja says, I spoke to Sukhwinder as VS made me speak to them.. She then says, he will be proud of you..
Himesh – Want can I say, you were outstanding and VS gave the most hit song to you and did partiality.. Tumne toh Aneek ki chutti kardi.. Vishal asks Himesh not to bring any such thing atleast in this round.. Let the competition and comparison be there in its place and lets enjoy music.. Himesh says, that is there, but whatever is truth has to be said here and its true that he was better than Aneek.. he asks Raja to accept this.. Shekhar says everyone sang well today.. Himesh asks everyone of his fans to vote for Raja.. Asks Raja, how much point he needs.. Raja says, I just want your blessings and prayers.. Himesh says that will be there, but how much you want.. Raja says 10.. Himesh – Heights of modesty – Raja.. Gives 10..
ID – When VS told me about this song, I told them that this will be a good hit.. And I ask all Amanat votes to also be given to Raja.. gives 10 and hugs him..
Shekhar asks all VS fans to vote for Amanat and Aneek
Farah says its this positive energy among the mentors that this show is such a big hit.. ID says, its these contestants who have made us turn from Shaitaan to this.. Its not that we are shaitaan.. but this +ve energy is coz of these contestants..
Second Round – Songs suggested by SRK..
All 3 contestants meet SRK.. He gives them a CD of OSO and wishes them luck and says all 3 of you are winners.. He says, compete among yourselves and there should not be any competition between you all as an artist is himself a winner.. You all three are great singers.. Asks all 3 contestants from where they are and whats their age.. To Amanat he says, his family also was there in Pakistan.. Amanat says he has visited that place and everyone in Pakistan loves him.. Wishes them luck for the future..
He gives a message for Aditya and says I know you from the time of Pardes and always call you as Off Beat singer.. You are doing a great job and making your parents proud.. He also wishes all the viewers luck

He then speaks to Amanat and says its good that he has come from Pakistan and I always feel that both countries are the same and there is no difference.. Its music and art that makes them together and I am happy that Hindustan janta has accepted you and is giving you votes.. He gives him Shaukat Amanat ali sahab’s song Mitwa..

Shekhar comes on stage and says I have to repeat what Jagjit Singh said that you are far from what this competition actually is..
FK – You sang much better than the original.. I have to agree with ID that though even I have judged certain competitions, we have not been able to find singers like these people..
Deepika – Though you sang close to original, there was so much Amanat in the song..
Shreyas – I think Pakistani mitthi has so much in it that it was first Shaukath and then its Amanat..
Shekhar – One Crore Marks..
Vishal – I told farah when you sing, the whole stage will have magic..

Aneek meets SRK.. He gives him the song tu hi re from dil se.. He says there is a word called Uns and that means attraction.. You may not be knowing and when I wanted to know, I called up and asked the meaning..
Himesh – asks him you know na what happened? Amanat gave a fantastic performance and you should sing much better than him.. You have to sing like that for me.. Remember Ur parents, god.. Deepika lifts her hand and says her too..
He sings Tu hi re from Dil Se
VS, HR come on stage in the half way when he was singing and enjoy the performance..

Himesh – Tumne aaj dho daala sabko.. This show definitely deserves to be number 1 in TRP.. You sang so well.. Asks him for whom he sang for him or Deepika.. Aneek replies for both.. Himesh is very upset with this and says, from the beginning I have been your guru and in just one day, you changed yourself.. Tell that you sang only for me as I cannot share the love with any deepika.. Aneek says, no – I sang for both.. Deepika asks him to say that he sang for Himesh.. Himesh says he does not want any second hand treatment.. Atlast Aneek says I sang for Deepika.. Himesh is upset but says, I will still support you though you have left me..
FK – asks him who taught the variation as even Ar Rehman did not bring such variations.. It was outstanding.. Asks if he is married.. he says no.. She says, even Deepika is not married
DP – I am genuinely speechless..
ID – I brought full suitcase of marks, but its not sufficient.. Asks how much he needs? He says how much Amanat got? ID says 5000 then give me 10000.. he gives 10.. I wish all 3 of you become winners..
Shekhar – You sang mindblowing.. Full credit goes to all 3 celebrities..

SRK meets Raja.. Shahrukh says, this song is very close to me and also feel like dancing whenever I hear.. This is a very good song and too many of them have worked upon this.. He says you also dance when you sing.. I will pray for you all …
He gives a message for all the mentors and says you all are doing a good job of searching the talent.. He thanks VS for giving music of OSO and says may it be successful.. To ID he says I have not met you after Devdas but always see you on TV smiling and getting serious with these contestants.. To Himesh he says you are number 1.. I havent yet watched your movie but I will definitely do it and I am sure, you have done a great job..
Raja sings Chaiyya Chaiyya from Dil se
All of them come on stage except Farah and dance.. All 3 contestants sing the same song together.. Himesh says Raja is number 1 and says its tough to decide for the audience as to whom to vote.. Aditya asks the mentors to decide who is the titan of the day.. Himesh asks Farah to decide this.. But she says its impossible.. They all have gone beyond marks and cannot choose one.. Himesh says its all because of music and VS have done excellent job with the music.. Farah says its not only music, but the singers have equally done a great job here…

Hi Friends and Welcome to the Musical Talent Hunt Show SaReGaMaPa Challenge 2007…Today is elimination day and out of four contestants, one will get eliminate…So here are the live updates of 28th September Episode of Saregamapa ….
As the show begins, green room is shown.. Each of the contestant speak in front of the camera that they are nervous about the result and it depends on the public if they are through to finals or not..
Today’s Guests
Pandit Jasraj is one of the guest for today and he gives a live performance today on stage It was definitely a treat to hear him.. Amanat was on harmonium.. The stage is decorated with candles and all contestants are sitting on the stage.. The mentors table and chairs have also changed and they are looking more professional and elegant.. After his performance, contestants and Aditya get blessings from him.. He then meets the mentors and they too get his blessings..
Jagjit Singh enters the stage and he too gives a live performance and sings sarakti jaaye rukh se nakhab ahistha.. What a treat
He says he is happy to be here and congratulates SRGMP for the success.. He also adds that he follows this show as there are good singers and says you all four are winners..
Shekhar – I feel lucky to be here.. I have learnt a lot for pandit jasraj and Jagjit Singh is just like our family member and I started my music from him.. I also follow him for many things and my voice also sometimes sounds like him.. Jagjit Singh says I know Shekhar from when he was in school or college.. (Shekhar says school) and used to visit his father.. Then he mentioned that Shekhar is interested in music and so made him to take proper riyaz fro Niyad Ahmed Khan sahab..
Vishal – Someone said we are good gurus but I feel we are not actual gurus and those two who are sitting there are the actual ones.. We will learn a lot today and the contestants will also learn
Himesh – I am happy that Pandit Jasraj is here and the romantic feeling who brought in songs was Jagjit Singh..
ID – Give us blessings, that is what we need..
Pandit Jasraj – This show is improving a lot and singers are also very good.. To Aditya – You are managing very well as host.. And to mentors he says, usually they keep fighting, but nice to see all of them happy and united..
Aditya announces that this week they have got 53,12,003 votes and from India it is 34,83,959 votes..

Every contestant is going to sing two songs..Today contestants will sing two songs one semi classical and another ghazal..

Aditya announces that Poonam has also adopted a daughter and her name is Simran.. He asks her how good a mother is Poonam. She answers a very good mother.. ID speaks with her and asks do you learn music? She says No.. He asks Poonam, why didnt you make her learn? She answered – Her voice is not that good.. ID asks Simran to ask her mom – Is her voice nice? (in a humor)

Om Shanti Om director Farah Khan and stars Deepika Padukone and Shreyas Talpade visit the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa sets this week to promote their film. The Three Megafinalists of Saregamapa Challenge 2007 – Raja Hasan, Aneek Dhar and Amaanat Ali performed on the songs of Om Shanti Om in Saturday’s Episode.
While Deepika sizzled on stage, Shreyas was his usual charming self. So impressed was Farah Khan with one of the mega finalists, that she promises him a break in her next movie (another break!!!!). Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 contestant Poonam Yadav has an adopted daughter, aged six. Twenty six-year-old Poonam is a single mother…Thanks to Sushmita Sen and her daughter Renee, single motherhood is catching on. Poonam Yadav is no style diva but an ordinary girl from Lucknow who has taken the step of adopting a girl.
A source from the production house reveals that Poonam is only 26 years and belongs to a lower middle-class family. “As she is a contestant on the show, the channel wanted her mother to be present too. When they talked to Poonam Yadav with daughter Simran her mother in Lucknow over the phone to invite her, she asked if she could bring Poonam’s adopted daughter, Simran, as well. Needless to say, the channel was stunned with the revelation.”
Poonam’s father died before she was born. Her mother worked as a housemaid and also sold roasted corn on the streets of Lucknow. To make ends meet, Poonam managed to pass standard 12 and also worked in a PCO for Rs. 600 a month.
Her daughter Simran was just two when her biological mother abandoned her, four years ago. Poonam lived in the same neighbourhood and needless to say could not tolerate the apathy towards the girl child and took her home. Her mother was obviously stunned, but Poonam stood by her decision. Gradually, her mother also supported her cause and the little girl became a part of their family.
When contacted, Poonam said, “I adopted her because I didn’t want her to undergo the same difficulties as me. I still had shelter, she was abandoned. I feel that if every family adopts an orphan, no child will be without shelter. With my kind of income, if I can gather the courage to take this initiative, I think anyone can do it. We just need the determination to do it.”
Payaol Patel, the creative head of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa confirmed the news. She said, “We were actually stunned when we heard about Poonam. When our team went to her house in Lucknow, they found that she lived in a very small house and she belongs to a lower middle-class family. Hats off to her, she has the guts to adopt a daughter. More so because she belongs to a poor family and being a single mother in a state like Lucknow is a laudable feat.”
