I think one of the big reasons Junaid will be going next week is that Zee wants International voting to go to Mauli. As Far as I am concerned If Mauli is the only singer left on Earth besides me, i will still not vote her.
Junaid does not deserve to be in top 2-3 but he does not deserve to go before Mauli, sumedha either.
Mussarrat even if does not win this contest, has proven himself with saanwre and aafreen. Poonam has proved herself with vande mataram. Others have given good performances and few memorable ones but nothing that can beat the original.
And one more thing, how to vote online, I will vote everyone except Mauli, this is my way of voting for worst singer.

hi sonia.. i totally agree with your rating above.. i’m actually kind of sad and loosing interest in this show – although i was enjoying it quiet a bit until the independence episeode.
1. this blatant bias of judges, it makes no sense to rate mauli so high every time – she really is not doing well and why are they like talking in gujrati this and that.. i mean i dont know its almost disgusting.
2. Himesh and his love for Aneek – why is he like promoting him sooo much – oh he’s like a little kid who wants something ..hello he has alreday won one competition and personally i really like him but this whole promotion by himesh that ok now you’re number 2 and u have to learn from raja bhai this that is too much – like they’ve already decided the winners..
3. raja is a great singer and i do really like his performances but again judges have already decided he’s number 1 and whatever he does is okkay – his qawwali was good but not like the best performance – but too much praise from judges..
4. Junaid – yes as everyone thinks they are just putting him down giving low scores…i found it so wrong that first mr.shekhar said look for inspiration from harpreet – thats such a wrong statement to compare them two like that on their faces – and secondly just when it was announced junaid is bottom 3 – the host said oh and the highest votes are for mauli – jee thanks for rubbing it in..
so strange stuff happening ..i’m really disappointed in vs – i thought they were always so sincere in their opinions but i dont know why they are being all biased…. and voting totally sux what ppl are saying here – complete opposite happening on stage……..so i dont know man.. disappointed

Lets say we people dont have any authority to overrule our gurus judgement because they are ofcourse “Music directors” whereas you and I are charted accountants, account managers or software engineers

On one side Bappi felt “thoda kam tha” in Musarrat and gave him 9, and the other side, VS gave 9 for sumedha because “thoda kam tha” then for Ismailji’s sake .. “chalo poora 10 !”
And I never understood what Bappi said to Junaid “yeh aapke style ka gana nahi”
I really laughed !! I thought his alaap was super good. Infact even the studio crowd was going wild.
Just some discripancies that simply dont add up….

Favourism is learly visible on this show now (after watching this week’s show ).
Some good singers were less appreciated (Poonam , Mussarat,Harpreet)
and some singers who ..inspite of previous/current poor performances are always getting positive feedback (Mauli )..I think there is some manipulation of results by Zee TV..like ..they wont take out Mauli because they dont want to lose their USA viewership and also they would like to keep atleast 1 pakistani singer till end for the same purpose ..to keep up with the tag of INTERNATIONAL.
my ratings of singers :
1.Raja ( he sings from soul) but now his songs sound the same type ..all high pitched and nothing new
1.POONAM .she is my favourite singer.She sang variety of songs and all very good .and she can bring changes to her style so easily.she is true and only versatile singer.
3.Zunaid and Mussarat .Zunaid ’s voice is youthful and unique.Musasrat was awesome in todays show .I think teh best one .but was still less appeciated.
4.Harpreet has been showing so much improvement now …he sings from his heart that is for sure .
5.Amanat is all about melody .
6.Aneek is junior Sonu Nigam .We already have a sonu Nigam .why would we need you?
7.Sumedha doesnt have ups and downs in her voice .sings very flat ..of sadhna sargam and shreya Ghosal type.
Why is Himesh is getting all drama in the show and also looks like he has only Aneek in his Gharana .True, VISHAL is the only judge who looks unbiased till now and does not promote all teh drama in show.
Bhappi da is a goofball, he’s only getting respect because he’s senior, the guy’s been consistently supporting the item song girl …. and he brought Samantha Fox and Disco to India, so what can we imagine?
And it seems they all have short memory syndrome. Most of their selected singers are out already. Pakistanis were handed to them on plate, Raja, and Sumedha were late entry, both Harpreet and Raja were taken down by maha gurus, Aneek is a previous winner. So what do they got? Poonam with sympathy vote?
I don’t understand how in the world they selected the initial contestant for the show. I say SRGMPA would have been worst than Indian Idol if not for change from Pakistanis like Junaid, Mussarat and Amanat (even Wasi and Sikandar were more able and fun).
Pardon me, but this is not a country bashing post, I’m just amazed at the judging abilities of these gurus.

We should also remember that it is the Indian janta that has voted out many indians and preserved the pakistani contestants.
The whole Independence Day naatakbaazi by Zee was asinine and created this awkward situation where the 3 pakis are battling from the ground up -with the inherent disadvantage of previous weeks independence day related (non)votes as a baggage weighing them down..

to my classically untrained ear all that alaaps/harkats junaid performed in the qawaali were pretty impressive. his voice didnt sound tired to me.. yep total disconnect between performance and points allotted..

I want to ask frm all of u that why Bappi Da is showing his hatred for junaid just coz he is super hud looking n better then Mauli or getting higest no of votes from international viewers shame on u Bappi da u r supporting singer like Mauli who doesn’t know anything all the time singing one song concentrate on low notes for me BAppi da knows nothin only supporting his gang… For other judges i wana ask if junaid sur are not gud thn how come he reach till here or why VS signed a contract with him why not with Raja b4 or with Harpreet coz junaid is verstile i request u all to plz vote for junaid he is so sad just coz of judges comment on him plz guys vote for junaid n save him this week

Perception for Raja is: He is great and he is, but the qawali he sang last week, he was straining on the high notes..listen to it again, you will hear it..
Mauli, is not very good, and she is not compared to others, at least compared to Aneek, Amanat and Raja, but she sang well last week, the qawali round, and you guys still don’t seem to see it..
Bottom line is, the public who is voting, they are voting based on their perceptions and emotional whims, which are also influenced by the dramatizations of the show – thanks to all the judges who are very well trained before the real thing..
…the guy with outlook issue knows shit abt music…smone telling that Raja Hasan is not versatile shld get their ears washed out….Poonam is irritating..n mauli is performer.oh heaven…this guys making such commenets shld be banned frm any forum on music….

I loved Mouli after Maiya maiya.. it was my fav on youtube for a long time. It was like a breath of fresh air.. a very different voice and she had an excellent attitude.
But like so many have noticed, she sings item songs … ok. But if Item songs is her forte, then she was horrendous in the mother-of-all-item-songs “Parde mein rehne do”.. It was the best opportunity for her; she could have stolen the thunder, pulled the carpet from under everyone’s feet with that one song.
I never recovered from that “Parde mein” experience. And she has not given me any other performance to redeem herself from that.
She sings well even now … But when compared with all others’ steller performances, she has only maiya maiya.. Its only so long that she can carry on on that one performance.
What I do like about her is her personality. She gets into her performance which shows to her advantage.
Having said that, I too feel she was very good in the qawwali this week. One of her better songs definitely. But everyone else did great today as well. Its going to be tough from now on whoever leaves.
Yep. The “IrockandIknowit” attitude really works for her.
Junaid already kicked Raja out of the show. Raja has been defeated heavily by Junaid. Judges bring Raja back.

The Judges should not comment because most of the viewers give votes according to the judges comments… Every one is focusing on someone while others the dont care… Mauly is in the show only because of the Judges because whether she sung good or bad judges apericiated her… only because of her good contestents are out of the show…. In singing only thing is that which voice touches ur feelings ur soule… According to me Musarrat has got this quality… Nahi koy TUM JESA

I think that nobody is against Mauli, its just that at this point in the show, if anyone deserves to go out on merit its Mauli. Because if somebody else is eliminated then it would be injustice to others. I liked the attitued of Joy when he was eliminated, just before that he said that if he will get green light that would be injustic to Saregama Platform because Aneek was there with him on Yellow. There is nothing to talk about India or Pakistan, i just want that the best singer wins whether its from India or Pak doesn’t matter.

i’m somy from UK. To be honest i dont agree with you. I’m Pakistani but its not that i’m supporting all Pakistanis. The one who sings better should remain. Amant did really well and was better than vinit. Vinit seemed very over confident and his voice cracked 4 times because he was tring his best to reach high nodes what amanat did really well in the end.

I also don’t agree with you. Although Vinit was the runner up in the show and deserved to win but Amanat Sang better than Vinit.
And i think that Amanat is the best in terms of SUR in 2007 challenge. He lacks in performance. Raja is the best performer, i mean he performed on all type of songs greatly. As far as Aneek is considered he is just too good as a playback singer, his voice resembles with SONU very much.
amanat is the best. he seems to have taken the advice on friday and now he can actually PERFORM.

I really wonder why this show has become so political.. I wasted a lot of time discussing this issue with so many pple who had prb with paki singers.. but in my opinion this show is about singing talent n not abt discussing politics..n making boundaries according to that..
I definately agree that favoritism is now very very apparent..good singers like poonam, junaid, aneek are not getting the good remarks as they sud be..
moresoever, voting appeal on the basis of family background, language, religion is sooo crapyy..
poonam is 1 of the most consistent n diversified singer of the show.. who has given desecnt, clean, touching as well rocking performances.. her singing has been flawless..yet..she voting has never been consistent.. and i definately feel is she is one of the best female singers ever in the show..i appeal to every1 to pls vote for her.. not because she is not financially strong or for her mother but because she is gud singer.
amanat- my other fav. very clean singing..u deserve to be in the best 5

aneek- i think a very perfect playback singer material but quiet underated.. he sang very well i last 3 episodes and i wish he becomes more extrovert n makes his fan following. HR. ur tactics to bring him fan following his sickeing .. ur repeating love triangle story is annoying.. who believes in this crap.. earlier the camera use to zoom in on mauli n now sumedha.. pls gv us a break..
mussart- i like u but i think u r gud only with a certain types of songs(sufi) n u sud rock in that category..
sumedha n harpreet- neat singing this time, but i guess u sud put in more effort to compete with big bros..
n last and alwayz last mauli–wat the hell is item qawali.. she just spoiled shoba’s song and mixed it with ali remix.. u sing in a certain style but i feel this show is not a performance show but a singing show and ur nakra’s n adda can steal some hearts but the true singing needs some quality which u lack..u definately do have some coonection n appeal but my votes in this show is for singing for sure..

No one is against mauli…..we just dont think her singing is at par with others on stage and i believe u will agree with me.I have personall y seen this “maiyya”video soo many times..
cus she was exceptinal in that! but has she sang all other songs equally well ;;; i really doubt..
my only grudge is that she is gud but not as gud that is other much deserving people are getting out and she still remains..Only the deserving one should stay.And after repeatedly giving poor performances,i dont think she deserves or has worked hard towards earning a spot in our hearts.
her performances have remain mediocre with more masala n less singing abilities.. n its just doesn’t work all the time..
i just want that most deserving participant wins without any bias..without any sentiments of religion, politics n love triangles.. i just want that debojit history should not be repeated and at the end of the series i dn’t want feel stupid spending so much time n energy on a show which was not abt talent but only biases

I totally agree with you. The show has become very political and favouritism is very obvious. Being a Pakistani i also vote who the best is no matter what race, religion or nationality. But still we cannot stop all this. What do you say about Vishal and Shekar? I think their remarks are really good regardin all and to some extent Ismail ji as well.

Ya Ossama you are right…. Vishal and Shekar .. They give really good comments. Like in todays show when it cake to the love traingle of Amanat Ali, everyone was actualy joking and helping in love. But Veshal and Shekar told Amanat, “dont let your personal life come on stage”. i think the rest of the judges are trying to spoil his reputation in Pakistan Specially

The first time I heard Mayya Mayya by Mauli, even I liked it and then heard the Original version again. Recently heard Mayya Mayya sung by Sumitra Iyer of Star Voice and here are my thoughts.
Mauli sang very well, but cutoff a lot of words or Aalaps in the song.
If this was a local stage show where someone was performing, I would have let it go. But on a International level competition, its not right.
Its like singing Kishore Songs without the “oodling”. If one wants to be professional singer then they have to do full justice to a song and not cutoff parts which they cannot sing. Specially in a competition.
It’s sad the judges didn’t pick it up. Maybe if it was anyone else, they would have.
I agree with you that Poonam is excellent and has been courageous enough to try new songs and not just favorite numbers.
I was a regular watcher of Saregamapa, but have recently switched to Star Voice as I feel atleast there’s no favorism there.
Its directed by the same Director, so i think its Zee as an organiser who are pressurising Judges to “let go” of Mauli every time.

This is roy from uk. I think episode of 19th aug is the best so far in World Champ 2007.I just recalled those golden days of sa re ga ma (host sonu nigam),where it was mandatory for contestants to sing some classical/semi classical songs.Sunidhi, kunal,Sreya all are from that lot.
I think Annek,Amanat,Raja, Musarat sumedha,poonam can definitely sing some good classical based songs, they have given indication in their performance, Even junaid has got potential.I would sincerely request SAREGAMAPA director Mr.Singh to introduce Gazals,Classical songs, folk songs in the program like old days so that we all who really love music can get an opportunity to have an hour of real enjoyment in the weekend.
My request to everyone in this forum pls support them who all have potential and quality don’t get diven by some narrow minded thinking. Someone has mentioned very correctly that 60 years before there was no existance of pakistan , now time has come get closer once again through this unique initiative taken by ZEE, I really appreciate the the decision of not eliminating anyone last week, it shows we only love music , don’t care if some pakistani singer wins the title.
Let us all say – Indian Music Zindabad (applicable for both India and Pakistan) as whatever both of this two country people called classical that is nothing but truely indian Classical Music.
Let us feel proud that Indian Classical music is the best in the world and together we will establish it.Those days are not far when whole world will listen Indian music like – they started loving curry , Tikka etc..Jai Hind.
Mauli still didnt sing as well as Sumedha or Poonam, but in Maulis scale she has improved from that horrible performance she did on patriotic songs.
Junaid: sung very well, his low notes, high notes were perfect. Had the right attitude in the song. Dont know why the judges are trying to discourage him. I feel he shd have been getting 9/10.
Raja: Was Hyped, his performance was below par on his own scale. He messed up on high notes. He was depending on chorus to save him in the middle. 10/10 by judges is completely unfair and unjustified. I would give Raja 7/10.
Mussarat: Unbelievable, there is something divine in his voice. It appeared as if NFAK was singing. Judges need to be fair to this guy. I always enjoyed his sufi songs which are more classical & difficult to sing.
Aneek: Very well performed but I feel he doesn’t sing well on high notes.
Amanat: Awesome performance. Didn’t knew he could perform along with singing. Technically he is the best singer. Sings difficult songs with ease.
Poonam: Gave another better performance. She is the only female singer who could compete with the male contestants.
Sumedhaa: Was OK, 10/10 was unjustified.
Mauli: Her performance was better on her own scale but she sucks compared to other performances.
Raja is hype and was out but was brought in by the judges.
Amanat and Aneek are the best at this point

They set the stage for who they want to win and who they want to leave. They set for junaid to leave. All idiots just then follow what judges say and eventually the person leaves. When judges started to say that Aneek reminds them of Sonu. All the idiots follow and started to think that Aneek sounds like Sonu. Have some of your own brains, think, and analyze! Aneek takes the easy route all the time. All the time! I have yet to see him take a challenge. I thought he would be challenged with Qawali song but he picked a NON-QAWALI song. Very sad! Hamesh promotes and all idiots follow. TRUST ME IF HE SOUNDED LIKE SONU THEY WOULDN’Y PAY SONU MILLIONS TO SING A SONG WHERE THEY CAN PAY ANEEK FRACTION OF IT. Get some mind of your won. Plus Hamesh competed with Sonu so he will do anything to put Sonu down. Sonu is good so please don’t insult him like that. Again think!
I’ve been going through the videos of previous episodes on this site, and I can tell you that there are three singers who have been superbly consistent since the beginning, and they are Amanat, Poonam and Aneek.
Everyone else have made mistakes and have not been consistent.

i48998- You must have hearing problems. Aneek makes a lot of mistakes and judges hide them. The only difference is that judges point others mistakes and hide Aneek’s. Last episode Aneek made mistakes. Go listen again. Poonam is on and off but I do like her voice. Amanat is the only contestant on the show who has been consistent.
I am Paki and I vote based on each contestant performance every week. I have voted for Poonam, Raja, Juanid, Amanat, musarrat, and Aneek. In all honesty, i have never voted for Mauli and Herpeet because they are not upto the par. So for the people who say that pakistanis don’t vote for indians they are wrong. You don’t know what each person is doing and who they are voting for. So please stop assuming! In reality, the truth is there is a reason why no Pakistani has been a number 1 yet. So should I assume that people in India don’t vote for pakis since 80% of the votes come from India. But this is just the way it is. No paki is gonna win this and we know this already. ZTV nor the people of India will never let that happen because they can’t upset millions of people. So cut the crap accept reality and stop crying about votes. At the an Indian is gonna win! So relax!

My opinion about 18 aug performance with ranking:
1. Mussarat : He was perfect, could not think a better performance for this song
2. Raja: He is divine and creates an apt atmosphere with his songs.
3. Sumedha : Amazing performance. Whatever was her previous performance she was very good today.
4. Harpreet : Very good. His confidence is reflected in his performance.
5. Amanat: He was OK. Probably there was no technical mistakes in his song, but the enthusiasm and zeal required for the song was totally missing. It seemed he was very conscious of the sur, but he missed the feel.
6. Mouli : She was a surprise package today. There was no high expectation from her, so her OK performance also seemed to be Good.
7. Aneek: He sang the qawwali like a pop song. Didnt feel he was singing qawwali.
8. Poonam: Performance was very boring, was waiting for her to finish. Though she is one of my favourites.
9. Junaid: He is losing confidence. Started off very well, but seemed to be lost later.
Can anyone list the achievments so far by all the singers? I mean who has what contract etc.
I know Amanat, Aneek, Poonam, Junaid, Mouli have already COMPLETED recording for forthcoming movies. Very good for them.
I heard about Raja too. But dont know for sure.
Sumedha has a contract, or offer, but dont know if that is sealed and has she recorded anything yet??

Last Hungama episode showed Musarrat going to the recording studios along with Amanat, Poonam and Junaid, but it didnt cover what he did there…

ossama,,u r absolutely correct in saying that abt the judges.. vishal and shekher luks least partial in their comments..they have been appreciating and encouraging n they even pointed raja on writing lyrics on hand.. guess if mussarat had done the same than the freaky number he sang would not have got screwed up..but i still feel all the judges hv become partial//
but the fact that I hate now is that appreciation has become only cynical n critical when it comes to junaid these daz.. he has been an enomorous singer but his mentor didn’t make eny efforts to support him in rough times..infact they have been all praises abt harpreet..yeah they sud encourage him but not to the extent of downlining a gud guy..

These pple forget that many pple vote on basis of wat comments they make.. they hv already decided raja to be winner.. and basis that there comments and appreciations hv changed over the period of time..same goes for mauli.. they knw she doesn’t hv that potential still even when she sings horribly bad, the comments hv alwaz been soft n not harsh..

well vijay, to put that again, i totally agree with what u said abt mauli..her maiya maiya is not comparable to original version but my comments were only based on the fact that she is an ameture singer and it was a live stage performance unlike a recording..where the 3 singers sang that song…so comparing that it was a good attempt.. but still no doubt in my head that she has alwaz manipulated most of her songs .. and twisted it to the scales which she can sing..to a point that most of them sound so sterotype.. or I may say mauli style.. cause she can’t sing those scale.. eehh.

That was really tight what you sead about Pakistani’s they are not like that. I am a Pakistani from england and yeh i support all the pakistan people but also Raja & Aneek. Oh yeh and i have voted for Raja and they had right singing those songs. So please dont say stuff like that about us lot!!

Only time the pakis have gotten lowest 3 was after ID special, when they sang the least popular songs ( atleast 99% of indians had never heard of them)
Otherwise, the indian janta has voted off indians before the pakis..
I dont think the indian janta is biased but if you make them choose between famous indian patriotic songs that every kid knows and some unknown songs, albiet well sung, guess which song they will choose?
i wld consider independence day special results as an anomaly rather then evidence of bias against the pakis by the indian public..
in any case, i think aneek, poonam and raja belong in the same category as mussarat , amanat and junaid..talentwise

Partiality is so obvious now that judges suck. How come they have no criticism for Raja, Aneek, Mauli and Sumedha. Are they all perfect singers or what ??? Raja’s performance was not good at all(even with his own standards) and for the judges to be giving him 10/10 is completely unfair to other good singers.
No judges seems to care abt Aneek as well. Why r they trying to favour some contestants over others? Beats me!!!
Its a common knowledge Mauli is always favoured so no point discussing that further.

I never watched StarVoice before and after the 18th August SAREGAMAPA, i was so disgusted with the results, that I tried going on web and search for StarVoice.
You will be amazed there are some really good singers (female and male). There are 3 Female singer of the calibre of Poonam ( Priyani,Sumitra,Mirande) while 3 good male singers ( Harshmit,Aabhas,Irfan).
Watch the episode with Sonu Nigam as the Judge. It just blew me away. Specially Priyani’s singing of “Barso Re” from Guru.

I think its very clear now… Zee Tv wants this to be an “International” competition and not just “India-Pakistan” competition. And hence, they don’t want Mauli to get out from the show ( even if she screams, not sing, on top of her voice ) I totally agree if Mauli gets 10 from all the judges, then Junaid or Poonam or others deserve 100 from the judges!!!

About 2 months ago I started following Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2007 challenge and got hooked in no time. However, since the Independence Day episode I am hugely disappointed in the tactics used by the TV network.
Zee TV and the show’s judges need to realize the show is about the contestants and their talent and nothing else. The network totally exploited the Indo/Pak issue for ratings. The ID special should have been just a special without any voting being conducted, and avoiding the more-deserving contestants to be in the bottom 3.
All I can say is Good Luck to all the deserving and truly talented contestants – you guys don’t need this title to prove your talent, you’re already stars.

As a smart audience, we are capable of making the right choice – if we don’t like something on TV, we can just switch the channel or better yet DISCONNECT ZEE TV (we don’t want to pay over $30/month to watch this kind of political exploitation).

The first time I watched Star Voice, I felt the same ( Boys in Saregama were better than the ones in StarVoice). But after listening to a few more episodes, I feel they are a good bunch.
In Saregama, Raja is a very good singer, but in my view, he has a typical style of singing. Amanat on the other hand has tried his hand on even Lata’s songs ( Rasme Ulfat) and added his own touch.
I find Amanat and Poonam to be the best all round singers. While Raja and Aneek are like Sukhwinder & Sonu. But we already have the originals singing, so my vote is still for Amanat & Poonam.
This Saregama is a disappointment ( Not because of singing) but because of the bias.
The Maha guru’s like Ashaji & Khayyam were very frank. Anandji was biased, Rajesh Roshan good to every one. No wonder they got rid of Asha in the first round, else Mauli would not have survived.
Apparently StarVoice is going to get Lata as a Judge in the finals.Which will be great. Saregama should have the final judge panel comprising of Asha, Shubha Mudgal, Pandit Jasraj kind, people who are frank and are not bothered calling a spade a spade.
Shut your mouth up..you guys have nothing better in this world to do but hate Mauli. What has she done to you? She is just like all other young aspirants trying to make it.
Sunidhi faced exactly similar hatred but rest is the history. Despite being from USA, I feel proud that a young Indian girl has such charisma and the guts to be what she is.. She may not be the most versatile singer but she has done good enough to be where she is.. so shut your f mouth up..and stop blogging and even watching the show if you cant stand it..you hpocrates..and trust me i know music more than most of you guys here..(without boasting..)

Don’t get me wrong, I would hate to see Junaid leave the show because I love him. I was just wondering if he was reading from his hand and why the judges didn’t say anything.
i think that all the singers sang well in this 31st episode. not being negative, and not trying to offend mauli, but her singing was just horrible…i found her song to be the worst of all, and i just dont understand how she got all 10’s. oh by the way mauli, whats up with u lifting up ur nose like a pig when u laugh and sing.one thing i have to say about bappida is that he is racist. i belive he is being really unfair becuase i have noticed in this episode and the previous episodes i have watched that bappida has given the pakistani boys low marks, even if there performances were excellent.. i think we need to find a better judge than bappida, he really has to leave the show..Bappida and Mauli..im sorry if u mind but u 2 are horrible!!!

Raja’s voice cracked when singing the part “tum samandar ke dhani twice”.
He was given perfect 10. Maybe ignorant janta will not notice this mistake.
Muahhhhhh to Vishal-Shekhar for not getting sucked in this sic contrived “love triangle” drama. Ask the other judges to cut the crap pls. Was ok for a couple of episodes – getting stretched out of proportion now. Keep it up Vishal n Shekhar – you guys rock! Keep the dignity alive; love you for it!
hi guys.. I think Amanat, Mussarat and Raja did a fantastic job. I dont know if you guys know but while ago there was a competition between university/college students on saregamapa and there was this one guy I think his nick name was “zulu” (I might have spelled it wrong) I dont remember his real name. But he also sang “Piya Haji Ali” and he did a fantastic job. I would love to see/hear that again… if anybody has that video I would request that you share with us.
