Review of 3rd August Episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challnge 2007
Now Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 is in its crucial stage and every Friday we get some shocking results. We are all music lovers and we all have quite different views but the bottom line is ‘We want real talented singer from saregamapa’ and we are giving our precious votes just for this good reason. So lets see what is going to happen in this Friday’s elimination round.
The show begins with Aditya singing ek din tere yaadon mein and he is shown playing the piano.. There are also some young girls dressed in white who are dancing.. Aditya joins them for a dance..
He says, Today is elimination episode and all the contestants are praying that it should not be their turn to get eliminated.. He also announces that this time public has given more than 15 lakh votes..

The Results of Hit Squad:
First Challenger is Raja – Aditya says, he sang Sukhwinder song last week and sang it very well.. Now lets see if he gets through to next round.. He is then shown the lights and gets green.. Aditya also adds that this time he is not the topper in votes and that he will announce it a little later..
Next to know the result is Harpreet.. – Aditya says – Shajid praised him last week and said he sang better than the original.. So, lets see see if he gets through.. He is shown the lights, but unfortunately he gets yellow and is the first Trishanku of today.. Aditya says may be he is not getting the support from Punjab to which Harpreet says “Sabra ka fal meetha hota hain (Waiting for a long time will give a sweet result” to which Vishal adds saying “Sar ooncha hain, you sang well and definitely you will get through”
Next is Junaid – Aditya says he is becoming a dark horse of the contest and is giving some great performances for the past few weeks.. He is then shown the lights and he gets green.. Aditya also says he is leading in international voting to which Vishal says I bet it will be girls..
Aditya says with this emotion of happiness, the contestants have to sing sad songs as that is our theme for today..

Raja sings Awarapan Banjarapan from Jism
Shekhar to Junaid – You have to concentrate on sur.. You are a mindblowing singer, and the feeling you brought in the song was tremendous, but have to concentrate on sur.. If you had sung this song in our studio, then I would have given this take a Go..
Vishal to Raja – You are trying to come out of your boundary and sing all type of songs and that is what is amazing.. I dont bother what all of them say, but that effort is in itself sufficient..
Results of Yalgaar Gharana:
Aditya says, this is Ismailji’s small but happy family but lets see if it remains happy or something bad news is there for them..
First in this gharana is Poonam – Aditya says, she sang a very beautiful song last week and lets see what the public says.. She gets green..
Next is Amanat – Aditya says along with his singing quality, viewers are also getting to know him as shayar.. On this issue Amanat says four lines..
Subah jo akbar mein milega, shyaam ko radhi mein milega..
Aaj Shaurat ka sikka kisike mutthi mein hain toh kal kisi aur ke mutthi mein hoga
He is then shown a Yellow light.. (As we stated earlier in spoiler post)Ismail Darbar says Dont worry, you are a good singer.. I have confidence on public that it will not show you the red light.. A person if he gets lot of praise, then he should also be brought down, that is what the public is doing.. I salute the public and it knows how to bring you to the top..
Performance:
Before Poonam sings, ID says, this song that I have given Poonam is a song from Devdas and this he is dedicating to all the Mothers who have dedicated their life only for their children.. She sings Hamesha tumko chaaha from Devdas..
After her performance, ID says the feeling that Kavithaji had brought in this song, is very difficult to bring.. But sorry Kavithaji if I had met you before making this song, I would have given you the chance..
Results of Rock Gharana:
First in this gharana is Joy – He gets green..
Next is Mussarat – Aditya says he was a trishanku last week but the performance he gave last week was so good and all the mentors asked for once more.. He too gets green..
Next to know is Aneek – Aditya says you sang Sonu’s song and you sang it so well.. He also gets green..
So, its a clean sweep for Rock Gharana.. Himesh says I am so happy and Mussarat sang it so well.. So did Aneek and Joy.. Himesh also adds last week SRGMP got the highest TRP and its all because of the viewers.. So, thanks all of them..
Performance:
Mussarat sings Tanhaiyaan from Aap ka Suroor.. Himesh after this performance says this was a very different song that suited my tone and voice and is difficult for others to attempt.. But Mussarat said he will sing only my song.. So, I gave this.. You did it really well.. If I had not sung this song, I would have given it to you to sing..
Joy sings Jiye toh jiye kaise from Saajan
Aneek sings yeh dil toh mila hain sirf from Dil ne jise apna kahaa.. Himesh says this song was sung by Sonu and he sang it so well and you did justice..
Results of Josh Gharana:
First to know the result is Mauli.. Aditya says, she sang the song Mast and everyone were happy with it.. She gets green.. Aditya also announces that she has got the maximum number of votes this week.. He also presents her with a watch which is the slimmest watch in the universe Actually her reaction before even he announced the result and one audience showing number 1 sign before Aditya announced was so evident that it was pre planned. Bappida congratulates Mauli and says I had just landed from London and the fans are crazy about her and that the name Indian Shakira is so famous there also (This is tooo much Bappida!!!!!)
Next to know is Abhijit.. Abhijit’s and Sumedha’s previous performances were also shown.. Abhijit gets yellow.. Bappida says I am the only composer in the show who has already recorded songs with four contestants Junaid, Aneek, Amanat and Mauli.. I am there for you, I will take care.. So, Sumedha gets green..

Mauli sings Laakad from Omkara..
Sumedha sings Chittiye from Heena
Bappida says I am proud of you both.. Mauli sang a song different from her original style.. She sang very well.. Sumedha also did justice.. The composition was great and she sang well..

Amanat sings Jhonka hawaa ka aaj bhi from Hum dil de chuke sanam
Harpreet sings Ab tere bin from Aashiqui
Abhijit sings Nahin samne from Taal
After their performance, Aditya asks the gurus what they think of the performance.. ID says everyone sang well, show the results..
Results:
A green light is shown in that traffic signal, and everyone are wondering for whom it will be.. Aditya asks all the 3, who should get green.. Harpreet and Abhijit say, it should be for Amanat and Amanat says it should be for Harpreet and Abhijit
Then Aditya announces that this green light was for Amanat..
He then asks, who would like to know the result – Harpreet wishes to know first.. Green light is shown for him So,
Abhijit is out
Abhijit’s mother’s face is blackened when the results were announced.. He then says this stage is not a competition, but a gurukul and if he had not got the entry into this stage after winning SRGMP Marathi, he wouldnt have learnt all this here.. Abhijit’s brother starts speaking and says – The way Aneek and Abhijit were being brought into the contest at the end and also Ismailji said that this is wrong, this has affected Abhijit’s voting.. He actually wanted to concur with ID and say that he was right and Abhijit and Aneek should have come from beginning instead of at the end.. But he did not even complete the sentence that ID started asking him why are you taking my name – Is it because of me that Abhijit is out today?? Then Abhijit asks his brother to say what he wants to say in just 2 lines.. Then he clears what he wants to say and also Abhijit said as he didnot know hindi, this confusion came in.. ID says even he doesnot know hindi as he is from Gujarat.. Then all of them kept quiet without out even knowing why this issue started up

I doubt have you ever in your life heard one song in your life.
Might be Mauli has a misconception that she is a singer. She is a just an odd one among the best singers of SRGMPA.
How can she is still on the show after worst performances and worst comments?
LAKKAD song she sang on 3rd AUG episode I couldn’t understand what she sang her words were not clear she was just howling and howling like funeral procession was going on.
After that I heard that song from original sound track, my god what a good song she made it like ———–ohhhhhhh god save us from horrible howling Mauli go back to your home.
don’t you feel shame to sing worst among all, don’t try to feel us we are hearing a classical singer you are no way a singer and classical singer its like ROCKET SCIENCE for you.
If you would try to sing from low notes it could be easy for you as well good for us to hear but you try to match with playback singer scale and it’s just like screaming some non understandable words.
Amanat you are one of the finest singer there. Don’t worry you will be on top very soon.

CHILL GUYS. Watch out Amul Star voice of india now. It’s getting Better and better in every episode. Gajjendra Singh is there not in Saregamapa. And he left Zee because of Zee tv’s freaking manipulations like this. So obviously this is going to loose its reputations completely. I left watching Indian Shakira’s performance in Saregamapa from the day talented singer like Sarika singh was out then there were other better singers were also out because of her.
I agree with the previous person. Plz stop watching saregamapa.If a singer like Amanat is placed at the bottom 3, then It’s a shame to even the show’s name. Plz stop watching this show.
Im a big fan of saregamapa…but the gimicks they r adopting to, to create a hype is SICK.
It can never b true tht a singer like Mauli can make it to the TOP and AMANAT can b in bottom 3.
Everyoen knws tht the BEST singers in the show r RAJA,AMANAT,JUNAID and POONAM and also MUSSARAT is good in a particular genre.

I am simply amazed that a lot of people are saying Mauli is surviving because of her “Beauty”. We all know she can’t sing. But is she beautiful ???!!!
I hope not. That would mean I would have to seriously re-examine my concepts of what constitute beauty!!
I would classify her as a plane jane who has been able to sing validaa successfully and thereafter hyped as Shakira….really all this nepotism and promotion is resulting in so much hate that I feel bad for her. This might result in some serious permanent damage to her “career”.

This is 100% true that this show is becoming a farce. The biggest shock is Amanat’s getting trishanku which is I dont know why it s not coming into my head as a good and suitable reason. Why it happened I dont know and you people must be surprised too. What about Mauli if she got highest votes. Oh my God, this was a rediculous thing which showed that this show is the name of Mauli’s Sare Gama Pa Show. It seems like she will win this competition. Moreover, she again sang a sad song with her nasal voice which was completely out of sur. It didnt connect to my heart. I will respect only sur and confidence and ofcourse performance. I like Sumedha’s performance and I think she sang very nicely a very different kinda song in her sweet voice. It really attracted me. I like Mussarat’s attempt on Himesh track. Tanhaiyan is no doubt a HR based song which is not very easy to sing. Poonam were ok as usual and I like Aneek’s song too but he should try to sing a different style of track. Junaid was ok but need more effort in singing and Shekhar’s opinion was right about what he said to Junaid. I agreed with that. I didnt like Raja’s performance this time. It was not up to the mark.Harpreet and joy were ok with their songs. Anyway, I’m really very disappointed with day by day decreasing level of charm of this show. It might be due to some technical and political things involved in this show.
Freaking ZeeTV is trying to create an Imerican Idol 2007 (Hate Sanjaya) scene in this SRGMP 2007 (HATE MAULI). But Sorry to say ZeeTV, SANJAY had real Die hard fans like Howard Stern etc, with pretty good singing knowledge (like the way he sang the Latino music, JLo was totally bold that day). But Mauli scene is being architectured by SRGMP management completely. Forget this for talent search show, I will rather put my money and time on ASVOI.
To the guy who spoke about ASVOI. I agree. That show is about sur and not all this shenanigans. SRGMP seems to be intent on committing suicide. This public voting business is leaving too much to chance. Earlier SRGMP editions used to have the judge voting right till the end. I view this board and videos if at all for a good laugh.

If Zee thinks that by keeping mauli, they would be more popular with US viewers, they are really being stupid!! And I spoke to so many friends in India who regularly vote, None have voted for Mauli! None. So by simple statistics and law of averages, how come she is No. 1!!

And be assured, there is no cross border sentiments being played either in India or anywhere. The singers from Pakistan are adorable and everyone loves them.

I was completely surprised to see Mauli getting the highest votes while amanat got yellow light. Abhijeet sang so much better than Mauli, and he’s out while Mauli (even a fire truck siren sound better than her). I live in the US, and I HATE HER. She is ruining the reputation of us who lives in US.
I went to http://saregamapa.rediff.com/conditions.html and saw the following the voting rules.
“The producer alone shall have the right to consider or disqualify any/all votes sent by voter via any medium of voting in favour of any contestant.”
This shows what the producers might be doing… I sense some bias in vote counting.

what the heck is going on!? how can a person with mauli’s voice get so far. and what is this, she is getting the maximum votes. this is injustice to music. baapi da really doesn’t know what he is talking about. it doesn’t help any music talent show, when a person who hasn’t been in the studio for more than 15 yrs, is judging. all these votes for mauli are coming from her family and friends who are voting more then 10 times from different numbers/identities.
I completely agree with the above person, it’s only either herself or her friend or her relatives are voting for her and stating Mauli’s is a phenomenal singer.
I liked Abhijeet performance last episode, don’t worry Abhijeet you are good singer.
In US nobody likes Mauli’s song ,they change channels till her part is over so srgmp Mauli is decreasing your TRP and not increasing. Some of our good singers are eliminated as srgmp is not giving hype to others they are increasing TRP
by giving good performances and we also enjoy that .
SRGMP pls stop doing all this manipulations. It could be more better if live orchestra is back on srgmp.

Even a donkey named Joy from Assam can go thru when good singers like Abhijit who might just motivate a lot of other people in smaller villages to work hard are eliminated.

Let me give u the latest!i am from miami,USA & the whole saregamapa is a planned programe (farse)as i tied more than 10 times to vote for poonam after her Rang de,fantastic performance(pls ask indian shakira to atleast sing one line of it)wasted % 10 to vote for poonam by sms & it won’t accept or register! Big joke! my friend tried 15 times to vote for raja & we never recived confirmation!It all implies to one thing,saregamap has decided to to bring Mauli who is horrible singer,insult to music!

This is in response to the person who wanted to mass petition for Mauli’s removal. I guess the aam junta has already started registering their protest.
People are already switching from Zee TV and SRGMP show. I guess the best way to register your protest is to marginalise Zee and switch to Star ASVOI.

The mentors are playing favorites. They seem biased towards some contestants. I don’t understand why they are trying to portray Mauli as a sensational singer ! She is an average singer who can sing just one song very well. Please stop fooling people … And Abhijeet, your last performance was too good .. You have an amazing voice. I would just recommend you not to waste more time with Bappi ! He is not taking you anywhere. Concentrate on your Marathi singing……
Please vote for any of the contestants but not Mauli. Mauli is not fit to go this far. I was flabbergasted that she got the highest vote. Lets hope she is out next time.
Mauli Dave is not bad but she surely is not of the same calibre as Mussarrat,Amanat,Raja&Poonam or even Junaid n others…Mauli is gud in a typical genre of songs,may be few of Sunidhi Chauhan(no comparison though). Its though true that now she should get eliminated along with Joy..The real fight would be between Amanat n Raja, I believe though Musarrat as well is awesome in his own leak and poonam Yadav surely is a dark horse…

Judges saying “Main tumko 8 dena chahta tha lekin tum Asam ke ho to 1 aur, kyonki asam ka mere upar ehsan hai”. WTF ? Is this some kind of joke ? Then Himesh asking bhik from VS and Bappi “de do de do aur ek de do”. Kya **** samza hai kya ? Then when Raja gives his funde like politician, everybody says “vah raj vah”…Hayn?
Abhijeet was better singer but he was shy and looked ugly comapared to other singers, thats why he is out. This competition is not singing competition, but personality competition.
