Today is another elimination episode where one contestant will have to leave the contest.. Tension is on air everywhere.. So, sit back and relax yourself and enjoy the ride
All the contestants along with Aditya sing a song.. Never heard this song.. It says something like - Hey chori zara nachke dikha.. Aditya welcomes all the viewers.. Till now there were 2 challengers in each gharana but this time unfortunately one contestant from anyone of the gharana will be eliminated..
This time total votes - 22+ lakh votes..
Aditya says - with same love and affection and crores of votes, the viewers made one jodi as winner in previous year.. The journey of Ujjaini and Aishwarya - the winners of EMET..
Their album is getting relased today.. And it is getting released on the stage of Saregamapa
Ujjaini says I was there in challenge 05 till top 7 and I was in Himesh gharana - so lets rock.. This album is called - Ek main aur ek tu.. Aditya calls all he mentors on stage.. Bappida releases the CD.. Few songs from the album is shown in the AV.. Himesh says - It happens that sometimes because of the votes few singers get eliminated, but that doesnot mean that they are not good singers.. All those who will be eliminated, neednot worry.. Their future is safe..

Amanat Ali from Yalgar Gharana
After their performance, Globe of fortune is rotated.. The first to get through is Amanat.. Aditya also announces that he is the number one challenger.. He gets the titan watch..
Ismailji thanks the audience.. Congratulates Amnanat.. He says Dont leave the hard work.. You have become number 1 for today but you have to be number 1 through out..
Aditya says not only the viewers, but also the TV stars have become the fans of these contestants..
Ronit Roy is a big fan of Amanat and says I like your shayrana andaaz.. You are a very good singer and pray that you get the girl.. He asks him to sing ae ajnabee from dil se and asks him to tell a sher..

Next to get through is Aneek.. Aditya says this time Aneek is in second position and Amanat has beaten him..
Aneek says - Last week I was number 1, this time my brother is number 1..
Deven Bhojani is a fan of Aneek and he asks him to sing the title song of Apne for his Apne..
Himesh says he is always inspired by Aneek for his dedication and feels that he also needs to bring that dedication.. says that dedication will be seen in his song too..
Himesh goes on stage and hugs Aneek and says this is a very difficult song and Aneek has sung very well.. Shekhar gives standing ovation.. Himesh says he has not sung the Anthra and so he would like to sing that anthra.. He sings those four lines of the anthra..
Shekhar says this is a mindblowing composition.. Himesh says whenever he listens this song he gets remembered of the bond of love that overseas people and people here in India have.. He remembers the overseas people who miss India and those people in India who miss those who are in overseas..
Shekhar’s comment for Aneek - I am not seeing you as number one in saregamapa but also number 1 in this industry..
Sumedha Karmahe from Josh Gharana -
Globe of fortune is rotated to fine the third contestant and that is Sumedha.. she gets the third position..
Kshitee is Sumedha’s fan.. she says I like your simplicity and you are as sweet as honey.. You are just a barbie dolll.. You are so beautiful.. She asks Sumedha to sing Neem Neem shehad shehad from yuva.. Sumedha sings the song..

He comes on stage.. He says for the past four week being number 1, how does it feel to be in number 4.. He says thanks to public as they have kept thim still in competition..
Rajashri Thakur is fan of Raja and she says there is one thing common about them and that is their names.. She is Rajashri Thakur and also that her father used to call her Raja.. she likes him because he sings from heart and also likes his smile a lot.. She requests him to sing Akhiyanu Chain from bandit Queen..
Bappida says he is fan of Saat Phere in which Rajashri is the lead actress and he likes her smile too and appreciates her for the work.. Requests everyone to support for Raja as he belongs to his younger brother - Vishal-Shekhar gharana,

The globe of fortune is again rotated and the 5th challenger is Poonam.. Smriti Irani is fan of Poonam she wishes that she wishes that Poonam wins this competition and says she has got lot of inspirations from her for coming to this stage with so much struggle and wishes that may all the pain beind your surili awaz vanish..

All the contestantsd come and give him a hug.. Himesh says - if this was the final, he would have been the winner.. But somehow I feel that he will be eliminated.. My inner sense says that and Vishal bets with Himesh Mussarat will not be eliminated.. Vishal says - such a good singer he is.. Himesh says Harpreet is also a good singer.. Vishal - Harpreet is very good and constantly improving but the emotion that this guy brought, that Harpreet is lacking.. He says to Harpreet - even if you loose dont worry - you are loosing to such a good singer.. so, dont feel for that.. Ismailji asks can we break the rules?? Himesh says No, rules are rules and even if Mussarat is eliminated, he will be a super star and says he is from such a gharana which believes - log sunate jaayenge, hum jeet thee jaayenge..

Himesh - both are good singers and I doubt that Mussarat is eliminated and want to support Mussarat so that he dont feel bad if he is eliminated.. Harpreet is also a very good human being.. He is a also a very good singer..

Himesh says - One day or the other someone has to go and that does not mean that they become a bad singer.. They all are good.. There will be only two singers in final but that does not mean that the third one is less qualified.. So, dont worry, you all are good singers..
Vishal asks him to cheer up and says last week Junaid was out, this week you are out and suppose next week if Raja gets eliminated, it does not matter much as you all three are already winners for us.. We are there for you and we will definitely do something for you..
Harpreet says - Raja will not go, he will win.. And hugs Raja.. Poonam is crying and many others feel sad for this.. Now, thats the end of Harpreet’s journey in SRGMP

Mauli i didn’t write because as a good singer i didn,t count her.
this is on marit not on popularity because popularity can be change any time.
Can you remind me how many songs can be remamber from Aneek.

Mussarat you amaze me! In all honesty he should be the winner! My reasoning as follows. There are plenty of singers like Aneek, Raja, Sumedha, and poonam however we need singers the industry lacks singers like Mussarat. We need that and he can sing what others can’t dare to sing. He should be the winner but I know that he won’t be because people will not vote for him and they won’t let him win cuz he paki. Sad but that’s the truth. He shouldn’t even be in bottom 3 but he has been.

I think the formet for last ten should be different. There will be no elimination in each week but the result should be given each week & all vote will added to participent’s account each week. So public have chance to bring back good singer to top & finaly last week top three will stay & all other will eliminate.
Last three will be perfom again with voting & final will be deside from tottal votes.
This is only my openion.
Today’s performance of Aneek proves that Aneek CAN’T SING ANTRA. ANEEK CAN NOT! So all the Aneek’s supporters please don’t close your eyes when it comes to this. He skipped it because he couldn’t sing ANTRA???? WHAT? You call this a contestant? He is not a singer India needs. I am sorry! He is not upto the par. I hope to see him eliminated in next 2 rounds.

“Cash” has bombed.. but “Zara nach ke dikha” took center stage as the intro song - for Mauli. With Amanat and Aditya as the sidekicks.
The song was another one like hey baby, or Dus bahane.. or gzillion other songs playiing today. Same type. Catchy tune, chalega for sometime until another one comes along… I would’nt know if they repeat this same song in another movie early next year. Infact no one will catch it
Somehow I thought the lip sync was out of sync with the soundtrack..
Amanat looked uncomfortable dancing for the into “Cash” song …..he had that “OMG .. I hope mommy is not watching..” look on his face.
The intro of the new jodi releasing their album was a nice gesture by Zee.
Lets see the performances …
Amanat = Flawless.
The sher he said in the beginning sounded hurried and rehersed. Somehow I felt it did not come from his heart .. maybe because it was requested from him rather than him saying it because he WANTED to.
His “Aye ajnabee” was as always, perfect. He is like Roger Federer…his No.2 is far far behind.. and then the rest follow.
Aneek - Very good. Excellent. I’m hearing this “Apne” song for the first time and I must say I really liked it a lot. One of the few Himesh songs I liked (because someone else sang it Ha !!).
Good job Aneek.. Hi notes Lo notes sab apne apne jagah pe tha. .. so added one more to my collection. I would say .. hmmm..Rafael Nadal
And then, guess what …. Himesh came on stage …!!
And I’m like .. Wow ! What a surprise !!

Sweet sweet sweet voice.. but its more Sweennt sweennt sweennt than sweet sweet sweet. She must OPEN her mouth to let at least some of the air come out through her mouth rather than her nose.. unless she does that, I’m sorry its more “neem neem” than “shehad shehad” for me.
Raja :
Good performance. Nice song.. He sounded like trying to copy Musarrat !!
I would like Raja to sing in a language other than “Aaave, Jaaave, Mainu, Teinu, Jind, Vind” etc.
Bol bol ke thak gayee yaar main. This is one reason I rate him below some others. Again, for me there was no divinity, no god. Sorry.
Rajshri is Raja’s fan, Bappi da is Rajshri’s fan. Coool !!
Poonam :
Aachi bachi !! I think she must have read my previous week’s review and got rid of the “Jigyasa aunty” look. BTW, I was hoping “Jygyasa aunty” will come khud to cheerleader her on behalf of “Kasam Se”.. but Smriti Irani came.
Poonam’s performance was very good. Jai Jaspinder all the way. Aaj Poonam ke Hi notes ke baad Bappida will not talk about notes again. Lo ya Hi. Hopefully.
BTW, my friend’s 7 year old kid who was watching the show (forced by me) looked at Bappida during a performance and said “That big mans sleeping !” Wow.. kids observe more than we do !
Explains a lot about the “Lo” marks got by all non-Josh. Na ?

Mauli ke liye Zee didnt trust one bahu rani.. so they sent teen teen bahuraniyan.
First of all, she came right after a powerful performer like Poonam and sang what.. a nursery rhyme !! C’mon.. “kaisi paheli” is the most easiest song anyone can sing !! So Mouli added in some croak factor to make it more seductive… The beginning of the song was like a malaria patient in high fever delirium.. I am not exaggerating.. please himmat jutake listen to it one more time if you want… !!

Musarrat :
God yeh kya gaata hai re !! I dont think I have the status to even comment on his performance. I still dont think he topped his “Sanware..” but almost as good. Class act.
Its an embarrasment to all music lovers (at least me) that he is competing on the same stage as Mauli. Again, this is nothing personal against Mauli.. but its just sheer stupidity to compare these two songs.. forget about Musarrat or Mauli.. would you compare NFAK’s song with Sunidhi’s Kaisi paheli??
On what scale ?? I dont get it.
And then, Himesh goes on stage (OMG !! WOW !!) to dindora peeto on his other chela, and goes ….. “Mu’sha’arrat.. tumne bahut acha gaya.. Raja ne, Aneek ne, Amanat ne, sab ne achcha gaya..”
I puked. IsmailD was decent enough to cut him short and get the spotlight back on Musarrat. After that, Himesh was left with no choice but to right the wrong.
Sigh !! How is the public keeping quite about this adamant favourism by Himesh ??

I think Himesh is SCARED of Musarrat… I really do. I mean look at his face when Musarrat sings.. its like “OMG.. Meri roti uski plate !!”
Himesh is very aware that Musarrat ko roti dilaate dilaate, khud ke ghar mein aata kam pad jaayega. So he is making sure that after Musarrat sings, Janta ke dil mein uska asar kam ho.. otherwise, why would a guru go to this extent to downplay a shagird like this ?? And that too when the shagird is performing like Musarrat ??
Harpreet - Listening to his journey so far, there are several songs that I had not paid attention to, but I do remember that they needed a second hearing. Now, I will go back and revisit his songs. I wish him well. Good job getting this far, buddy. Hope you find good work. Junaid’s untimely departure has somehow made me numb to Harpreet’s ouster.

I am agree with you. What i am telling since begening.
someone posted Mussarat cannot get votes because he is paki. Can Amanat become number one this week without getting votes from India? It is just that Mussarat did not impress in a genre other than Sufi. He is of course best at his style and no one else can beat him. But you have to respect the public popularity. And with the way Amanat is getting votes, there is no “Indo” “Paki” barrier in this contest.

As for everyone’s favorite Mauli (I can’t believe I’m commenting on her), as Vishal said few episodes back: Junta does a good voting, they know, between Junaid and Harpreet … Junaid had a throat problem so they know he wasn’t singing well.
You dumb ass, was junta only voting between Harpreet and Junaid?? Yes, they must have been only voting between Mussarat and Harpreet.
Note to Producers of SRGMPA, go back to drawing tables, your tactics are flawed and it’s showing.
Phew Senty! That was some post! Grt critique…lol. Couldn’t agree more with you; Mauli - nice girl - let’s not comment on her performance. The judges, including Vishal-Shekhar (yupp…am quite a fan of theirs) are only humouring her y letting her be there (in the last 7 - unbelievable); and perhaps half the junta. She doesn’t deserve to be there, but what the heck — some masala even on this stage maybe required!
Senty - As always, great comments! I feel you read *my* mind this time, especially with respect to Himesh. It really makes no sense why he constantly downplays Mussarat’s performances..but then again I never really understand what point Himesh is trying to make whenever he opens his mouth. I was very very happy to see ID cut him short, and very happy to see some much needed attention on Mussarat.
I am a pessimist and think this whole thing is rigged - but I was happy to see it go my way this time with Amanat being #1. It’s an absolute shame that it took this long. I am pretty indifferent to Amanat winning though - I just want him to get into the top five, then get on with the great singing career he has in store for himself! (and leave all this bakwas behind - same goes for my second fav Poonam!)

@Senty, great post gal. I agree with almost everything you said. Sumedha beta mooh kholo was very funny. I am still laughing. But I wondered the same initially when I didn’t know it was all prerecorded, how can she sing so loud with mouth almost closed? It was very obvious she couldn’t believe she was at #3 spot, but Bappi acted like he saw a ghost. No smile on his face and no real taareef of poor girl. She deserved at least some smiles and waah waah from the judge of her own gharana but BL is so cheap he fell short of that too. id10t.
No romance on show today. I thought there was something between Harpreet and Raja.
he kissed and hugged him khulle-aam when Raja was #4 and again when he was eliminated. Jokes apart, I am sad to see our swaying singer Harpreet leave the show. He was good singer with good voice quality.
My most favorite performances tonight were of Yalgaar gharana - Amanat and Poonam all the way!! You kids rock. Congrats to Amanat for being #1. May you be #1 always. Poonam’s singing was too good. The girl is truely a powerhouse.
Last AV of Laloo in dhoti & baniyan with “bachna aye haseenon lo main aa gaya” was hilarious!

I would rate purely based on singing quality as follows :-
1) Aneek
2) Sumedha
3) Raja
4) Poonam
5) Amanat
6) Mussarat
7) Mauli
Sumedha is the one who is consistently performing well but not getting as much appreciation as Aneek,Raja or Amanat are getting. To remind everyone Mahesh Bhatt is not fool enough to sign only Sumedha to sing in one of her movie and not others.

Bollywood ki number 1 playback singer. The teen bahuraniyan, were so music aware, that the song from “Parinda” was a
truly deserving request for the number 1 playback singer. It’s just they were confused by Shantanu Moitra and RD BUrman.
While the former gave music for “Parineeta” the latter was a decade back for Parinda.
Playback singers like Lataji & Ashaji, only added pauses to songs when the emotion in the song required it and not for loss of breath. This
has been followed till now by most singers. While some manage to achieve the most difficult songs without pausing for breath.
But a Excellent playback singer calibre as per Bappida is the one, who pauses to gain breath and then continues the song. Listen more carefully to the
‘Zu Zu Zu Zuuu” rendition by Mauli mata. Truly breathless……

Come on, all other songs were Nursery rhymes compared to “Kaisi Paheli”. Next week She is going to sing a very difficult song . Guess -”Lalla Lalla Lori” or may

I was watching a recording this morning and saw Bappida felt to sleep poor fat thing, Bappida don’t worry Moli is going rock the world when she is going to sing “BA BA BLACK SHIP Bappida HAVE YOU GOT ANY WOOL”

What a price for some grt singers to pay - (and some more in the offing) just to have Mauli be there. So many sacrificial lambs - Junaid, Harpreet, who are miles ahead of Mauli. If only it were not for masala….Yukkk!!! And yes guys, thx for the reco of taping Himesh’s mouth — it sure stinks. But for our cool judges Vishal Shekhar, we would’ve thought some where the prog has begun to stink…big time.

Raja Zee ka singer hai…us ko kuch ziyada hi ooper kiya jata hai..is ki waja se us voting ho ziyada ho rahi hai…contest se bahir ho bhi us ko tareeqe se us ko phir programme mein laya giya….is waja se baqi sab ki voting kam ho rahi hai…..mere hisab se top five singer ye hain Amanat Poonam Mussarat Semedha aur Aneek…
Mauli ab deserve nahin karti k wo ab is contest main rahe..Mauli se ache singer muqable se bahir jaa rahe hai rimmi sabir sarika sab mauli se ache hai….Semedha aur Poonam to Mauli se bahut behter hain.so plzzzzzz stop votes for mauli she don,t deserve now..
ANEEK is only singing like professional singer. Look at his Versatility. He will be a great singer. Any type of song he can sing. Musarat, Raja, Amanat are also good singer but they have no versatility. They can not compete with Aneek in future… even any one of them win this challenge. Beleive me.

I travel a lot due to my job and I don’t get the desi channels most of the times. So I have to solely rely on this website to see the performances or youtube. But on youtube you can only see the individual performances not the entire episode.
Please Admin, please upload the videos. I am dying to see them.

Debjit-you seem either racist against other contestants or VERY STUPID. You have no idea what you are saying. You are saying Amanat does not have versatility and Aneek does?? lol Now that’s funny. After hearing Aneek’s August 31 performance you still think that then there is no doubt you are biased. Aneek could not sing antra so he skipped it! What?? does a professional singer do that? You tell me! Stop being biased. So what if Mussarat and Amanat are not Indians. People like you create differences. People like you cause problems. You are so biased and the sad part is that you fail to see it. If that’s you character it’s pretty shallow. Grow up!
I think Sumedha is the most under-rated singer in the show…she has a lovely voice and great control too…there are great singers on the show and she is at par with just about anyone else, better even than many…she appears so sincere about her singing too….would love to see her get all the credit that she duly deserves!
Hi Guys, This is my first opinion to this blog. Though I have been an ardent SaReGaMaPa fan, for long.
I feel Mussrat and Raja are two most outstanding singers of the competition. If I was to chose a winner, I would have chosen Mussrat for his Sanware rendering. Now that was a performance of a pro, than of a contestant. However, under terrible mentorship he has given far too many ‘not so memorable’ performances.
Raja - the riyaz shows in his voice, if you look at him when he is singing you feel that he is being so care-free about the whole song, but when you close your eyes, the depth of his singing hits your soul. I wish there was a tie between the two.
Amanat would have been my choice, if this was a ghazals special program. He has that romantic softness combined with terrific control over the sur. But somewhere I feel, his performance seem wanting for the zing and lively spark.
Among the rest - Poonam, an odd choice. Some part of her songs are so so perfect and melodious that for once you may imagine a young Asha jee singing the same line, but somehow the gives a lot of room for disappointment.
Anik - a good singer no doubt, versatile and talented too, but somewhere too commonplace.
Sumedha - getting more and more nasal with every performance. You got to practice alaap, with aakaar.
Mauli - good, but I am sad for losing Junaid and Harpreet at her cost.
At this point in time my ranking would be as follows:
1 - Raja and Mussrat
2 - Amanat
3 - Poonam
4 - Anik
5 - Sumedha
I think the list should actually end here….
