Laloo Prasad Yadav on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa
Laloo Prasad Yadav is the next guest on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 (1st September Episode). When it comes to entertainment, our Union Minister for Railways, Laloo Prasad Yadav does not like anything other than the desi stuff. So, before he accepted the offer of being a special guest on Zee’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, he made sure that all the participants would only wear Indian attire. Even the show’s theme, which was earlier a western one, had to be changed to an Indian theme on Laloo’s insistence.
The creative team of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa were quite apprehensive before approaching Laloo. They were wondering if he’d accept their offer. But, they were pleasantly surprised when the Laloo agreed to be a guest on the show. But, he had just one pre-condition. His public relation officer told the creative team that Laloo wants none of the female participants to wear western clothes.
As the team did not want to take any chances, they changed the show’s theme from western to Indian. All the participants, including anchor Aaditya Narayan and the judges, will wear traditional costumes.
Payaol Patel, creative director of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, confirms the news and says, “It was easy to approach Lalooji’s as his PRO is an avid watcher of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. As the episode’s theme is UP-Bihar, all the female participants will be wearing ghagra-cholis while the male participants, judges and anchor will be wearing dhoti and kurta. Getting the Union Minister for Railways as a guest on our show is a big achievement for us, so we are also transforming the set into a village.”
The security measures on the show have been made tighter for Laloo’s arrival. The security arrangements were already very high after Himesh Reshmamiya, who is a judge on the show, got threats from the underworld.
The creative team of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa was really surprised when they realised Laloo Prasad Yadav’s popularity. “Everyone from the Pakistani participants, Amanat, Junaid, and Musarrat and Mouli from the US is a big fan of Lalooji. I guess he is one political personality who is popular across all age groups,” adds Payaol

This episode is going to be hilarious in a fact that Mr. Lallu is going to be there.
But unfortunately somebody is going to leave, since they dont have the TRISHANKU thing, I think bottom three will be Sumedha, Mauli and Mussarat.

Anyone knows what kind of songs they are singing? After last week’s disappointing episodes, I am really looking forward to something better than that in this one. I hope the theme relates to village setup songs to match the contestants’ costumes.
How abt hindustani classical songs??? Doodh ka doodh paani ka paani hojayega.
Mussarat, Amanat,Raja & Poonam will be able to pull it off. The rest will be a waste in classical.
That day would be my dream come true. I really miss those kind of episodes where the judges told the contestants what to sing and later on asked what raag the song was based on. I seriously hope at this advanced level in the contest, the management would have a classical songs round.
With due respect I do not agree with Zaigham. I believe the judges are tougher on Sumedha simply because she has been offered to sing in a movie already. She has the range whereas Mauli is limited to item type songs or a very limited range. In all fairness the person to go has to be either Mauli or Harpreet. This comming episodes are going to be extremely tough for the people to be fair and biases are going to take over!

Though Sumedha has been offered, but not to forget a lot of past contestants have recorded few songs, why past, recent eliminatee Junaid have recorded few songs already for movies but still he was out of the show. He could have been a winner but ‘throat infection’ was the cause as they say, made him unable to perform, backing with, ‘Janta’ made the right decision to get him out. But unfortunately she is not having enough support from Bappi, so let see.
I will be the happiest man on earth seeing Mauli out next. You have figured pretty well that her range of singing is very limited (item songs). But i think she is still going to and quite capable of surviving another 1 or 2 rounds on the basis of her so called ‘fan club’ (if there is), since ‘bush’ is involved too…lol
This show is no more TALENT HUNT its fake and full of TRP lovers and i bet even the MENTORS are involved, FAVOURISM is clear.

VS: Raja (over Harpreet, who i think is more down to earth)
HR: Aneek (over Mussarat, whose sufi/raag talent is best than all, he is the next nusrat fateh ali khan, if he carries on like this)
ID: Amanat (though he is really good, but Poonam is really good too)

u said it right,i hope it happens! but not quite sure as u know ,how mauli tries to flaunt herself infront of star guests!she wants to hog allthe lime light.The fact that she is from US(though most of us here r from ),gives sort of inferiority complex to many of them.Actually,it shouldm’t happen but it still does!Now a days Laloo is very popular here in US Management schools as recently MIT & Harvard students had few manangement sessions with him so may be laloo will try to connect it politically!My Pakistani grocer told me that he is famous in Pakistan too.
though,it is just my opinion & no one can really predict laloo as he is highly unpredictable!
i will be the happiest person if laloo shows Mauli her place & apreciates Poonam who is so simple,down to earth & has no formal music education.She also doesn’t have a family who can stand for her & create voting machines(like mauli family).In true sense her apreciators like us is her family.that is why my full hearted support is for Poonam and it is not on biases but because of her power performances!

now that the news is confirmed…harpreet is out..i am more than disppointed..a very talented singer..gearing himself to be a dark horse..nevertheless.. no one is better..now its fight for “FIRST AMONGST EQUALS”..mauli don’t deserve to fall in the category as her range os songs is limited and whenever she had tried to come out of her comfort zone…she got herself into trouble…Thus i personally dont want any winner after mauli elimination. remaining 6 shud stay as it is..but my personal ranking would be:
1. RAJA HASAN ( a different voice full of youth and energy; resemblance to sukhvinder and kailash kher adds to him. needs improvement on low notes)
2. POONAM YADAV (the most powerful voice of all, low or high …she is brilliant at every song and each note. resembalnce to jasvinder narula and surprisingly with lata mageshkar )
3. AMANAT ALI (absolute classical singer, versatility proven, can sing any low note song )
4. SUMEDHA KARMAHE (ready for playback singing; her “dosto se jhuti muthi” song said it all. )
5. ANEEK DHAR (very hard working singer; new sonu nigam, can sing hip-hop as well a typical bollywood voice )
6. MUSSARAT ABBAS (wah taaj; naye fateh ali khan…whether nusrat or rahat…he is excellent…. )

Oh God, Is Raja who is following only Sukhvinder…, Aneek who is copying Sonu Nigam. Both are taking the Audience praise. My Question is are they better than AMANAT? They are not up to the level of Amanat. Aneek told himself in the show that he is learning some skills from Amanat. Amanat has such type of touchy voice that saregamapa would ever had. He has God gifted something.
They are all too good singers with alot or little versatility and all are deserving winners. Though i like raja but cinsidering the talent as well as real life troubles i am voting for Poonam, the girl runs an STD booth to support her family. The prize money means alot to her then any one else, the good talent has already been identified e.g. junaid, he got eliminated yet he has been signed for an album (V/S studio).
so please Vote for Poonam (if the voting system really counts)

Poonam rocks! Beedi jalaile, towards the end…She trounced the two screaming banshees when she took off on her high notes!!! The ‘deer caught in the headlights’ look on Mooli’s face was priceless! ROTFLMAO!!!

I feel Mauli should be out…Instead of Harpeet Mauli dave should have been sent back to US… coz it is so clear as of now that Mauli is not a good singer .she dosent have classical base atall.. and since saregamapa is all about choosign a best singer i feel people should nto vote Mauli for her beauty and galmour instead everyone should make a fair decision hencefort atleast… coz when harpeet went out.. it was hogly unfair… now its time for mauli dave to go… and also.. Poonam is the best among all… she is really very modest….. just that she does not use her stunts to impress the public … But i stongly feel Poonak should win..

You are contradicting ur own statement above. You said: ppl shd not vote based on glamor etc and shd choose the best singer as this competition is all abt choosing the best singer. Then in ur later statement, you appeal ppl to vote 4 Poonam bcoz she is modest. Are’nt u asking ppl to vote for Poonam based on a reason other than singing(coz the question to be asked b4 voting is ‘Is Poonam better than the rest’)
Railway Minister has more Security then a PM in western countries and ppl wonder where all the tax money go. Ask these Ministers. I guess they need someone the watch them take a shit too. hahahha
