Your Opinion for Agnipariksha Round Four
As the days are passing, contestants’ performances are also improving and everyone is giving his or hers best. Its really getting tough to say who will get eiliminate next. If Friday’s and Saturdays performances are counted, I would surely say Raja is at the top without any doubt. What surprised me is the performance of Mussarat. He was mindblowing in ‘Saware ..tore bin jiya jaye na’…It was one of the toughest song and he really sang it with ease. Hats off to Mussarat.
The weakest performers are Mauli (no doubt..day by day she is getting on my nerves) and at somewhat I feel Joy should be at bottom three.
What is your opinion on Friday’s and Saturdays performance? To whom you are going to vote for? And who should get eliminate in the next week?

Well….This was a good episode. However, I am this close to losing my temper over these nonsense judges who are giving tens to people according to their image, not their performances. I mean no doubt mauli sang ok this time. But again, this is not even a song. As ashaji said, you need to prove yourself with powerful full of sur songs. “Yeh main to bhail puri kha raha tha” wala song koi bhi gaa sakta hai. Us pe tumhain koi judge nahin keray gaa..Quality songs gao.
Another thing I really have to say is that After mauli, it is Sumedha who is becoming an issue for me. Don’t you think she gets away EVERY SINGLE time with a very easy song. I mean you watch her any weeks’ old performance, and their she is singing a very slow song without any emotions with a meaningless smile type wrinkle on her face in a white costume. And at the end, she stands there makin innocent face and judges go crazy over nothing. Even Sajid khan said that you are beautiful and you sing better with your eyes. All that time, he did not say anything about her singing. Be rational people. Is this the voice you want to hear in the background of films?
Agreed, Sumedha is not as great as projected.
I think, Mahesh Bhatt picked her only because she looks like Soni Razdan.

How much every you ignore, there is always a sutle discremenation and good looking people always get favoured in the world, be it your normal office job or a creative field. Average looking chaps need to be extra good .. while good looking people get away being average.
MAULi is on the show only beacuse she’s controversial…and it boosts the shows ratings.

Raja,Aneek,Mussarat,Poonam and Amanat.Mussarat is a very good sufi singer,but not as good in other styles.Poonam has a powerful voice but cant sing sweet romantic songs.Amanat is again great,but all his songs sound just same,classical.I think Raja is the most versatile singer and good in almost every song and above all has a very good personality.Vote for him guys.

Thank GOD the discussion is focussing on Sumedha. I have been crying and wailing (I love this show :-)) that Sumedha sings easy songs all the time. And she is sooo nasal. How can you rate her above Poonam ??? She has no Bhaav on her face or voice .. what did Sajid mean by his comment that she sings with her eyes ?? Maybe it was one of his jokes.

Hi, I agree with SRU - stop being irrational you guys! C’mon guys, Mauli has been very good lately - she’s really come good in the last couple of episodes. I just listened to Sunidhi’s version of MAST & Mauli was just as good. Yeah, she had been sounding horrible before that, but not in the last 2 episodes. Well, for that matter so was Mussarat. He was good when he auditioned and then, there was the accusation that pigeon-holed him as a Junior Nusrat wannabe - which of course, Himesh R defended valiantly. After that episode, his acts have been very weak and monotonous & really dull - until last week when he did Saware. Oh my god, he was so AMAZING - thanks to my DVR, I was able to rewind & listen to his rendition several times – he was just MAGICAL!! Would I call Mussarat, bad - oh no - That man is talented & so is Mauli. This is my 2-cents worth… - FL

I felt really bad when Nhira and Himani got out in srgmp 2005 and felt it was really unfair and girls deserved to be final winner, but have to say guys are much better this time around.
According to me, Nihira or Hemachandra desrved to win !
But the most irritating Vinit and very average Debojit got into finals which was really very boring !!
Himani was too average , I think she already got more than what she deserved !!
This year also, none of the girls deserve here to be in top 11.. Boys are all good..

He can sing in all songs beautifully, he should win.I think rather than thinking of a girl or a boy, lets just think of an extraordinary singer and a wonderful performer.And you have to evaluate not just by one performance but overall.I believe Raja is the best.
Aneek has a very good play back singing potential. He has a great voice. I love Sonu nigam’s singing. Aneek I feel has the same potential as Sonu Nigam. I wish him all the best. I must mention I was simply blown away by Mussarat’s excellent singing. Best of luck to Mussarat too.

I really don’t like mauli, I don’t understand why she gets 10. She did a good impersonation of Stevie Wonder during Salman Khan episode when she was saying thank you. I really like Mussarat, Raja and Anik.
It is complete nonsense that Vishal and Shakar praise Mauli on every item song she sings where it is that those two are seeking versitality in a singer. Then why accepting all the item songs of Mauli?When she sang a song from the film Taal, she got 3 times a 5 on the meto score board. Why didnt the public opened its eyes and voted her out?!?

That is a bad thing, people should listen to the quality of the voice and the techniques used by the singers. Mauli could have never sung a song like Saanwre or a melodious song because she just can’t and her voice doesnt suit that kind of songs.

I believe that Mauli should go all the way to the top three. She has the talent. stage presence, all round ability and fan support for that.
At that point singers will be singing more than one song each and these will be in different genres. Let us then check out if Mauli is not versatile as some nay-sayers are proclaiming.
Nay-sayers are not saying that she is not versatile, we are saying that she cannot sing. We are saying her voice quality causes our ears to hurt. We are saying that she should not have gotten this far and is not in the same league as even the Lil Champs from last season.

Basing of the performance Mussarat was the best this week. I need to see some versatility in Aneek. I believe he can’t handle classical songs. Joy and Herpeet need to go. Joy’s voice has no power! Herpeet is sratching his throat to get the voice out and still comes out crap. Mauli please get her out.

Mussarat was fabulous!!! I don’t think any other contestant would have sung it better than him. I don’t think Mauli is versatile at all. She can only sing certain songs that’s why I’m not a fan of her. For me, Raja, aneek, Amanat, Poonam and Mussarat will be the top 5 contestants.
I still have to watch the Saturday episode.

I would like Aneek to sing classical songs for me to consider him in top 5. He is good but i don’t think he is at par with Amanat, Raja, or Mussarat. Aneek takes the easy route all the time.

Hi All. I am a music lover and as a pure music lover I would like to comment here. First 4 should be Raja, Amanat, Aneek and Poonam. Those who say Aneek can not sing, let me tell them, he is winner of SAREGAMAPA Bangla. There judge was Pandit Ajay Chakraborty. Those people who die for classical songs know his name. Have you ever thought why aneek is always bang on sure and taal? casue he has classical training. that is why he is so strong in sure. And for those who seek for versatility, pls go and check which songs he has sung. I have not seen anyone commenting on POONAM. Probably she is most neglected talent, cause only thing she does is sing and she sings from heart. Man she is consistent. Look at her voice range, such powerful voice. She deserves some recognition. Musharat is very good. But other than Sufi song. Man ask him to sing some romantic soft song and then you will know what I am trying to say. Mauli after Maiya Maiya and Rasiya I was a fan of her. but later on. I dont want to use stong words. but pls she does not deserve to be here. Those who say that she sang sunidhi song accurately, I must say do you know what you are saying? Go ahead and listen to the original once more. Nowhere she was near to the original. what ever you said sajal i am very much agree with most of your thoughts but i would say aneek and amanat are most telented and with very clear voice, what ever song they sing they are good in it so you can not say who is No 1 and who is No 2 but i think raja is also a very very good singer but he is been carried away bit to much he is good in few songs but not in all thats why he was in aklaviya and then he came and then went out again and them bharmatra round he was in again but he is good, one thing i dont like that people vote coz they like the persons not their singing like some like sumedha and some like raja and some junaid and they think sun shines out of their A***. and i dont even want to talk about mauli coz that is useless, but as you said people should vote for singers not for (male or female)models.

You can find a lot of singers like Anik. He doesn’t have a special voice. For people who think that he is better than Amanat, Raja, and Musarrat, and Poonam need to get their years checked. Anik can’t pull what Mussarat pulled last week. I am sure a lot of people will vouch for that. I am not saying he is a bad singer but I do believe that he is not that #1 material.

I think as far as i know something about music. i think lots of mistakes have been made as far as finding of singers was concernced.I would say that Sarika and Wasi who were really good singers(when i say singers mean that they they have the capability of bringing variation in the pitch and sound and tone of the songs…no matter trhey sound good or not.However in a singer his or her voice can’t be avoided). Now if we see the recent performances, we can clearly observe that Mauli who is just not more than a good performer is still in the running towards becoming world’s best singer. And Joy and Herpreet, OH GOD what the hell those guys are doing there.At this instance i would like to add that people like Sajid(former guest) signed Joy for his next film.you can see his level of competence in this competition where Raja is a ready singer,his singing is perfect, Amanat and Aneek are there.Sajid signed Joy, Thses kind of people should’nty be invited in the show, He was so over acting.He was pathetic..he really was. I think its a contest between Raja, Aneek and Amanatand to some extent Mussarat.I think they are ready for singing somehow or the other.They are all perfect and it would be unfair to choose one among them. If not for anything else, for the mean-spirited originator of this poll and Mauli haters trying to get Mauli voted out by writing viscious comments about her. Mauli is not worst singer. She is not a singer at all. I don’t understand how the Gurus gave her 10 marks. The most bogus judge is Bappi Lahiri. He has a horrible choice. Except Maiya Maiya, Mauli could not sing any song so far.

1 Mussarat ( Fabulous range ) / Amanat ( Same as above but sometimes lacks required punch..looks quiet soft)
I would prefer Mussarat for his overall versatality and the punch
2 Abhijit ( has been consistent with performances and has a great classical touch in his singing and gives his own variations in song without making sound them bad..that is a great quality..has is own voice and style )
Aneek ( has good versitality but not shown any classical singing touch) /
I would prefer Abhijit for his classical background and since Aneek almosts sounds like another Sonu nigam or Vinit for that matter.
3 Poonam ( has been good female contestant, has a different voice quality than rest but not good enough to win competition due to above, but i am sure we will hear here voice in near future)
Raja ( Great with some songs but of similar style, doesnt look a versatile singer and has some huskiness in his voice which wont suit most of the songs)
I would prefer Poonam over Raja due to her voice quality.
4 Sumedha ( I sincerely belive she can become next Aishwarya Rai, due to her beauty, her singing abilites look limited to old melodius songs and lacks classical singing touch but has a sweetnes in her voice. )
Junaid ( is good but needs to improve lot and knows deep within that mussarat and amanat are good above him )
I would prefer Sumedha over Junaid due to her pure sweetnes..this is not biased view but the fact and she also sings sweet.
5 Harpreet and Joy ( are good singers but lack the killing attitude and have scope for learning to gain that confidence…)
last name I even dont want to write since the start what she gave and got was the only wonder, but wont be surprised if we listen to her songs in near future since these mentors are praising her so much all the time as they have invested in her due to her first song and now realize that she is not that good, but by promoting her they can atleast get back there investment…i am sure they will dumb her afterwards)

For me the most shocked thing was to see amanat in yellow room. the singer who never given bad performance, i mean u cant even 1% can say that he sung badly… he is like perfect, i am a big fan of raja but now when i saw all songs of amanat he is giving coninuesly marvelous performances, and he has diffent voice.. we have never heard this type of voice, u cant compare with any one else.. he has his own style of singing and remember my words, in near future most of upcoming singers will copy him, we need different voices not only the singing, musarrat ooh my Allah he has shown that what he is,, i have no words to say,, when he sung sanware,, himesh was right, it was the best performance of the season.. i mean no question,, even chal chal was also nice,, some extra nice notes added by mussarat.. wow,, i am fan of raja he is very great singer he knows how to sing really he knows..any way just vote for the best singer thats it,, and Allah will give the success to most deservable singer.. take care guys and dont fight for any one.. just dont vote if u think he or she is not good singer… Regards…..MSS

Now coming to the performances, I was stunned by the extraordinary performance of Mussarat for “Sanwre”. I was in tears after listening to this song. A week has passed but its still driving me “Mustt”. God bless you Mussarrat, I pray you keep singing like this and win the competition.
Raja and Amanat are the most consistent and versatile singers and its always pleasure to watch them singing.
Among the girls, Poonum is the best. She has the powerful voice and sings with sincerity. Other contestents are average. I can bet Sarika and Wasi would have performed much better than Joy & Mauli if brought in the top 12.
Any way this show is great and we are really enjoying every week. I wish to see Raja, Amanat, Mussarrat and Poonum in the final four.
If Amanat happens to see these comments, pl sing for me the sufi song “Tere Rang Rang” sung by Abrar-ul-Haq. I can envisage what the atmosphere will transform into..”every one will be Mustt and stunned” Pl do sing this Amanat.
Kailash Kher’s Teri Diwani (from album Kailasa) is my one of the favourite song. In Saturday’s Episode Raja attempted this song. Genuinly speaking that u sang badly. Ur all other performance was to good.
My favourite is Mussarat, however, I also like Aneek, Amanat, Poonam.
I feel that the Pakistani lot should refrain from singing non-popular Pakistani songs as they mas lose out on votes. Just because if a person has not heard that song before, it wont be easy to decide if the song sung was good, bad or ugly.
Best of luck for Mussarat, he is too good with his high pitch voice but HR keeps on confusing him and this has prompted Mussarat to play safe.
Yup so true and they should change the show name to Maiya Maiya Challenge 2007.
Well as far as the last episode (Independance Day), I’m very depressed that people has made such kind of decision, even that they didn’t event used the name Pakistan, which was there in the original song of Ali Azmat (Ae Jazba Junoon Tu Himmat na Haar); so its clear that they are forced to do something like that and from one perpective it is also right, they didn’t even took the best of patriotic songs, because they all have mostly got Pakistan.
So people; please broad up your vision and be open hearted. I’m Pakistani but I love Raja and Onic.
choose the best one, otherwise it will be a mess like other winners like Indian Idol’s previously
One more thing I dont think that Junaid at that day sung like Mauli, there were no comparision b/w them on that day, but judges still had given them almost same marks, so its not fair. and their comments was not relevent, josh was not required in Junaid’s song instead Ghum and dukh was required and that was there so deeply.

Amanat should not have asked the question about Lalooji’s hairstyle. It looked like an insult. Amaanat you should think before you talk as he is a big personality.
As per now Poonam is the best female singer and Aneek ,Raja and Mussarrat are very good in male.If Mauli is not eliminated in next episode, this means the judgement is not genuine.

HR is a telling that Raja is not better than Musharrat. I don’t think Raja needs to feel guilty. He is one of the best singers who is versatile and sing any type of song his best. He sings with feel and Zee TV please tell HR to stop his nonsense talks. All the remaining judges are just judging singers and thats their duty and they should keep their respect that way.
I personally feel HR should not be allowed to judge and in 2008, Aadesh Shrivastav should be replaced. HR is embarrassing everybody there.
Poonam dont feel that people are voting you because of your background story. You are one of the best singers. I want HR to stop talking all bull shit.
