Nice episode… vidya was looking beautiful and Sajid was funny as always. Junaid was good and very powerfull. I love the way he sings. He has a strong and nice voice. Harpreet was lovely singing one of my favourite songs. Raja was outstanding as always. Will definitely vote for him. He’s too good and deserves to win! Amanat was strong and has an excellent voice… he can become a playback singer right away. Poonam is a powerfull person. She has a strong voice and sings beautifull. Mussarat was very impressive. I was shocked to see him in the bottom three. He doesn’t belong there. He made a great comeback today. Aneek is sweet, cute and fantastic as always. Love this guy a lot. I think he’s fantastic and reminds me of Vinit now and then. Joy was good. He has a different voice but a very good one. He sang good. Abhijit has a very manly voice like Bappi da said but he sang really good today. Liked his performance. Sumedha is a sweetheart. I really like her voice. She is the best female contestant on this show. She has the looks and the voice. I hope she becomes a big star. I didn’t like Mauli. Great episode! ok LISTEN! Has nobody noticed that the shows of saregamapa 2007 are shortend on TV??!?!?!? they are complete on the this website. And i do understand that they have to cut it because of their timelimits, but i find that there also cut relevant stuff, which would be nice to watch on the telivision. OK now to go further, let me start about that MAULI DAVE!!!! why is she still on the show?! and what was it with himesh he first gave her a 5?! i think he truely did not like her performance. Raja is superb again with Rut aa gayee re.There is something in his voice that everyone gets associated with, otherwise this batch of saregama has huge talent to watch.
be it aneek, mussarrat, Amanat, Poonam & Sumedha.
Raja sang the song with such a beauty, even sukhwinder singh would be proud of him..Surely Mussarrat was the star of the show.
Candidates like junaid, harpreet, & joy might not be there in the coming episode, not because they bad singer, but they are competing with some of the best singers.
Nothing to write about mouli, she made such a mess with beauty of mast song (Pathetic) and still Judges are giving a bunch of 10.
i think their voting for girls is on other parameters rather than singing.
Well, Mussarat’s singing made me cry after a long long time…’Sanwre’. I know partially it is the song, what an ‘out of this world’ composition!!! No words can express the power of music that has gone into it…and to sing it like Mussarat did is almost superhuman. I have to agree this one time with Himesh
that to me this was the best performance I have seen in 3 years in any reality singing show on TV!!!! Mind-Blowing, volcanic, cant have enough words of praise…

The july 29th episode was too good.We love the performances of all the contestants except Mauli. Guys Mauli spoils all beautiful songs. This time Musarrat, Raja, Aneek, Sumedha are fantastic. Hey, even Joy , Amanat and Poonam are still good.
With each episode, we are seeing growth in all the singers, all are trying to do their best and are giving better performances than their prev ones except few- Amanat as he was best from beginning and I don’t think there is much room for improvement.
Other exception is Mauli, who has proved in last few episodes that improvement and hard work are beyond her scope. Let’s all do one thing-Let’s give one award to bhappi for giving shakira name to Mauli. Doing this will perhaps prevent him from telling all the guests ” Maine shakira namm diya tha jee”. He is not compelling everyone to criticise Mauli but is also making fun of himself.
Other comment on today’s episode apart from Mussarat’s superb performance, there was one more thing worth noticing. Himesh gave Mauli 5 points for her singing and 5 points to work as promotor. so this should tell Mauli that at least none of the musci director’s sitting there will give her full song ( as everyone knows she does not deserve it), but might give 2-3 lines to her, so that they can have her picture on the cover.

c) Harpreet ( he is improving a lot, i wonder if 3 weeks with vishal shekhar he can improve that much, then he should stay here for few more weeks just to see what will be his best)
d) Junaid ( performance with style but best yet to come)
e) raja ( sings good but i did not like his politician attitude, for first time i felt his innocence is artificial)
f) Abhijit ( very good performance)
Room for improvement;
a) Sumedha ( nothing extraordinary but if she charges less to sing playback, might get offers)
b)Poonam ( will be able to song better once she gains some confidence-. She and Amant are only level headed mature people on this show.
c) joy: good voice quality but will be out soon.
One contestant who is left is not worth mentioning, when you are discussing the good points of candidates.

Musarrat stole the show today. This is the BEST performance anyone has ever done on reality TV show in India. I cannot wait for his CD to come out. And I promise to pay for his music and not buy pirated. This guy deserves everybit of adulation and respect from the public.
Please vote for the best singers based on performance. Dont vote based on region or race.

I think you are right about Raja. His innocense is a put-on. Not that I care. But if this is influencing votes, then that is bad. Raja is a good singer no doubt. Definitely in the top 5. But Zee should stop advertising him to this extent. I feel bad for Harpreet or Joy or Aneek who have to rely on their performances only to get votes. Same with Musarrat. But today he ripped everyone out !!

Raja is a genuinely good singer even before “Naina tagh lenge” his all performances were highly appreciated.of course that performance made him a star.no song has touched people so deeply as that performance did.
Success brings its own burdens, what a contestant is supposed to answer, when he is fired with tough questions like the one put by ID & Himesh.ID & Himesh are playing politics and contestant have all the rights to answer them in their tone.
BTW People are not fool, they know the talent of raja and his immense singing skills.

Raja is good, he certainly blew away Sukhwinder in his second last performance (listen to the original, you’d be surprised). But Musarrat topped it off … for ever.

Folks I never thought of leaving any message on the board, but I just saw a message from some one that he cried after Mussarat’s performance forced me to right this message.
I think, I never cried in my life after listening a song, but I don’t know I have seen Mussarat’s song atleast ten times and to swear I don’t know I cannot controle my self. I just don’t know, I hear the song and it touches my heart. My god what a singer. Zee TV deserves congratulations.

When Mussarrat initially started singing in Saregamapa he was mind blowing but when he tried different songs he was not successful.In his last performance he was superb and unbeliavably good but when he was asked to repeat the performance he was not that good or flawless, as if all his energy has been exhausted.I think he is very nervous after he came in last three.I hope he does consistently good.
I am surprised, not much has been said about aneek and his “rabba mere rabba” performance. I felt it deserved the sonu-like comment. The song is tough and if you sing it, you realise how good a job he has done.

I never felt like she sounded like a Goat..Agree she sounded like any bathroom singer.. nothing great but I am saluting her for being so good with item numbers. I know Item singing is not a very respectable gonur and learned singers link the gonur to some cheap dancing, but there is a huge following and I see item nos being played in all weddings, festivals etc

I do agree that Item nos being played everywhere and she is really really good at them. But again if you look at the singers that have gotten eliminated from this competition; they could overall sing better than Mauli. My only beef with Mauli staying on the show is the elimination of other good singers. If all the judges like her Item #s so much, why dont they just give her a contract and avoid those unfair eliminations ? She was going to get eliminated in the first round, based on her performances several times but the mentors saved her ass and made her sing Mayya Mayya in front of the judges and the judges had to eliminate someone else and not her.
So your problem is with the judges and their judgement not Mauli. So stop trashing her as someone else also pointed out.
Also you may know not all judgements have been fair Sarika may have been in if Jyoti had gone out at the right time.. but now that Mauli is here ..may be by luck but is showing tremendous potential and got a chance to prove herself so appretiate it.

Well the point is Mussareat is the guru of Sufi singing and Mauli is for item singing.
Amaanat also has a style of is own and sings romantic songs very well. Poonam is awsome singer but will not sound great for romantic songs. Her voice is good for those painfull songs.
Mauli is a good singer but will need to work hard to try other jonurs.

If Item songs are Mauli’s “JONER” then why did she torture, shred, butcher, slow-kill, one of the most popular Item numbers of all times – “parde mein rehne do”. If anyone would have done justice to this song, it should have been Mauli… this song had MAULI written all over it. YET, she came up with the worst performance in this show so far with this song..

Mind blowing, Musarat’s last performane was stunning. Rest of them all improved there confidence. I would say in comming episods these big composers should create new songs for their respective team members. We would really wana see how they sing new compositions.

What an interesting combination – Shakira who sings in a britney like hindi accent. Low notes like Usha Uthup and Shubha Mudgal and a mix of Sunidhi Chauhan.
It finally explained to me why she sounds like she does.

To all those who are praising Mauli for knowing Hindi and comparing her with Britney Spears, I would like to remind you all that this is saregamapa- vishvayudh, You have to know hindi to qualify to participate. The fact that she is from US and still knows Hindi does not make her a good singer. If you think Mauli should be appreciated for that then suggest her to leave this show and participate in some hindi declamation or debate contest. This show is for people who can sing not for those who can speak Hindi. If you are running out of good points of Mauli- just say you like her. No one can argue about this.
tmrw you will say that people in US do all their household work themselves, so they deserve to win saregamapa. Or you will say Mauli can cook Indian food, so she deserves to win saregamapa……

To all you SRGMP fans out there- first, my salute to all of you for caring SO much about this show. I feel that the comments have brought out some very important points- we, the audience, care anough to rise about regionalism, politics and other lowly tactics that are oftentimes employed to enable unfair wins.
I think almost all the current contestants are singing extremely well. In my opinion, the strongest 5 (not necessarily in that order) are Amanat, Aneek, Sumedha, Mussarat and Poonam. The bottom 4 (in order) are Mauli, Harpreet, Junaid and Joy (the two Js are tied). Harpreet isn’t a weak singer, but the Challenge winner needs more than just singing skills- defnitely needs a pleasant countennace- wonder why Harpreet appears to stern most of the time. The Challenge winner will need a lot of passion, energy and a fire-in-the-belly approach in addition to outstanding and versatile singing abilities.
We need to ensure that we don’t let wrong emotions drive an incorrect choice of this years’ top contestants.
My prediction is that, notwithstanding the Judges Perfect 10s (wonder what pot they are smoking) , Mauli will be eliminated next. I don’t dislike her at all- in fact I give her a lot of credit for going this far, but everyone, even her most loyal fans, should have the fairness to conceede that she is nowhere even remotely close to the other contestants as far a singing skills are concerned, and it would be only fair to the other contestants if she got eliminated now.

We could have left it a mystery(wonder what they are smoking…) but since everyone know s that they are smoking matka why not say it loud. The only variable seems to be the brand of matka…

i think mauli should not be in the show at all! she does not know how to sing she is only knows how to sing item number songs etc she cant sing real songs. she should get a 5 or get voted out

ok the reason Mauli got 10/10 was b/c the judges were obliged to do so since they gave Poonam 10 across the board…and many would think it was due to her life story, which it could have been and Mauli didnt express such. BUT NEVERTHELESS POONAM IS THE BEST GIRL REMAINING

i bn watching this show and it’s totally rocking . The best of all i think was mussarat,damn he is too good. I don’t know why Raja is in number 1 because i cud see other singers with the more spirit than Raja.I guess public shud keep on looking other singers too, like Aneek.I wish all participants all the best. hey Musarrat, I became a big fan of him aft listening his last performance n honestly I cudnt stop crying… his voice,singing n feelings touched my soul n tears came out!! trust me guys….n also Amanat Ali made me mad..he sings frm his heart n he’s very innocent n very very powerfull singer. n abt Anik yeh he’s a good singer but guys u cant compare his performance with Amanat or Musarrat.n last tym I was surprizd when Vinit didnt win the contest!!Vinit was a very powerfull n matured singer n no1 can be Vinit.it was very unfair result 4 Vinit Hem n Himani.so I don’t xpect that kind of result this tym again.I pray n beg please guys vote 4 him/her who deserves…..don’t vote emotionally.

This is the problem with you, audience at large…You guys are so biased. For example, up until Mussarat’s last performance (which was absolutely unbelievable) no one had mentioned anything about singing. As a matter of fact, he was very bland and quite ordinary. But last week, he pulls out Sanware from his kitty and boom – he’s becomes everybody’s instant favorite – including mine. That was one heck of a performance, especially when he drew the microphone away from his mouth to create that fade-away effect – right at that moment I thought, this guy was a champ!
But having said that, I can’t understand people’s fixation with Mauli either. Has she been that awful that people have to beat on her like this?? I don’t think she deserves it – she hasn’t sounded bad in the last 3 episodes. In fact, she has been very good! I don’t think anyone can sing MAST the way she did.
If anyone were to get top marks, it’s Amanat. This man has been so consistent – and frankly, he has all the qualities of becoming a playback singer. His renditions are so professional – his tune, pitch, rhythm, inflection, voice modulation, etc are spot on. And not to mention his ability to spontaneously break into poetry, which I believe is a huge plus in this industry. He’s a true performer!
Junaid has also been left out. He is such a good singer. His voice is so unconventional – not your typical run-of-the-mill kind.
I will not even comment on Raja or Aneek or Sumeda or Poonam, since they get enough kudos from the audience at large. They are so good in their own right & so popular already…

Great performance again in “Rut aa gayee re” a consistent performer with a blessed voice.
Mussarat was at his bestwith his saawre song and i am sure that it was the best performance of saregama 2007, even surpassing Raja’s “Naina Tagh Lenge”
but let us see what Mussarrat brings for us this week Above all consistency is a big factor, Junaid was praised so much for his ” Aisa pehli baar hua” song but
his next performance “Yeh dil deewana” was quite ordinary…
Amanat & Sumdha have the potential to become great playback singers.

Mussarat, I have never voted for u. Junaid and poonam still my fav, but ooo buddy what have u done to me today I dont know. I want to change my mind yaar.
Sure raja is in top 5 singers. But I never know why judges support him like as he is a nr 1 singer,so raja gets most votes of every show. If this time Raja gets again most votes, more then mussarat then thr is something wrong with this voting.
Junaid: Solid surs, high confidence,Singing almost all the types of songs.
Raja: Solid surs, high confidence, His voice is not a voice of a hero, He cant sing differet types of song.
Amanat: Solid surs, High confidence, His voice is very fit for for imran hashmi, shahrukh, sometimes on sanjay dutt, bobby, salman. He has to work a bit to change his singing style, voice is ok.
Mussarat, very Very very solid surs, high confidence, His voice is not a hero’s voice. he cant become a reguler singer for the bollywood like Raja.
raja is not just a good singer but he is a very good actor too. he get more votes with his acting. he could be very good in politics.
Amanat is my favorite…the dard that is in his voice is mind blowing. He is a great singer. Raja on the other hand is a good singer, but need to impress people with his singing not his acting.
Abhijit’s performance is really great. his voice quality is very good.

Definately, one of the better shows currently on zee. I agree with most of the comments. I felt it was a weak performance by Mauli. Mussarat was fantastic, as was Amanat, Poonam, and Sumedha.

Raja u r d best in sa re ga ma pa.mauli you are the bore singerand poonam your voice is very very powerfull. Raja u will win.
I think in the case of Mussarat it has been unilaterally conceded by all the judges and the public that he can only sing sufi style songs effectively. So that is a limitation as severe as Mauli’s who can only sing Maiyya Maiyya.
About Amanat for some reason, I have never felt that he feels the song or reflects the intent in the lyrics…So if it comes to soul I would say Raja is light years ahead.
Lastly a person who “prefers” to be simple does not have to be a simpleton. So if people are going to make smart alecky comments and you are supposed to respond to them , better to respond in a neutral fashion like Raja I would submit…
It’s surprising how people are discounting Aneek who to me is still one of the very strong contenders…No Bangla Bhashi supporters ??
Poonam – talking of dard, I went back and played all her songs on Youtube. After being aware of her condition, the song selection and the soul with which it has been rendered moved me…With the almighty’s support you should go far…
