Thank you again for sharing these videos! I liked the episode (not as much as the last one though), the competition is becoming more and more serious! I was so shocked to see Mussarrat go to the yellow room and I don’t think he is getting the votes he deserves. Happily he made it to the next round but that was really unbelievable that he would only get so few votes.. I wished people will voted for talent and performance not for reasons of local patriotism, else what’s left of the challenge? A lot of the singers were only good today nothing special.. but I liked Amanat’s, Aneek’s and Harpreet’s performance most today. Btw Junaid looked so cute: ) Can’t wait for the next episode!!!

27th Jul. episode was not as good as the previous one but there was another most important thing the elimination of Nirupama Dey. I think that was fair elmination according to her previous episodes performance. In other way if she wont be eliminated then Abhijit could have the chances for elimination according to me.
I’m totally agree with Preity36 who mentioned above in her comments about Mussarat. Yes, infact he’s not getting the true and deserving votes from public just because of patriotism bases. This is big flaw of this show which will surely influence badly to overseas contestant specially Junaid, Amanat & Mussarat. We just appeal & request public to vote for a better and deserving singer not for your local favorites. Try to look the whole features of performances and comparison should be made on performance otherwise we wont be able to justify with true and best singers in finals. Your justification is very important so please try to evaluate all the singing talent not your patriotism and racism. People of India should remember that event when Shilpa Shetty (Winner of CBB) had to face the racism challenge from Jade and then public protested all over the India against it and if it is all about Indian people and they believe in NO RACISM then why it always happening in the show that judges and contestant mostly request and appeal for votes from their particular and related areas where they belong and what about those overseas contestants. Why they always talk about Jay Maharashter, Assam, Bengal or UP etc. Isn’t this racism?? and isn’t this unfair with overseas contestant who have to also appeal vote from Indian people.
Anyway I hope most of the people wouldnt agree with the things shared above but this is fact. Let’s have a look at this episode’s performance. I think Sumedha, Amanat, Raja, Neelum & Junaid were fantastic. Aneek & Harpreet were also good but not much appreciatable. Did you guys guess that the Mussarat’s song tempo of the track was very fast as compare to the song and Mussarat had to struggle with the track. Quite hard to perform unbalanced tempo. I’m not impressed again with Mauli’s Pardey Mein Rehne Do as she totally spoiled a very beautiful song sung by Asha Ji. Totally very different sur and she was struggling alot with the song and it sounds like she messing up with the surs. Well, let’s see Sat. Performances so that we can have good discussion on to contendors.

he can sing any song, believing he has perfect base of sur and tal, his voice is just amazing..
Hope people vote for the right, this show is victim of 2 things it seems, racism and machoism, girls dont get enough vote as i guess some girls are better than some boys

what is wrong with these people..the makeup and the outfits are so horrible…Its getting worse with every episode..they look like those extra artists(dancers) from cheap hindi movies.
yeah!the makeup and the clothes are really distracting..
aneek is the best… most consistent singer. I haven’t seen one mediocre performance from him. amanat is equally good. i don’t think raja falls in to their category. he fails in sur at times. but definetly a very good singer.
people stop hyping junaid. he is not good. he can’t even pronounce “firti” it was sounding like “pirdi”
i hope aneek wins the competition
I’m Pakistani and I don’t think that Mussarrat is all that great. He’s only good with Sufi songs like Vishal has pointed out many a times. And, even in those songs he loses ‘sur’. He is not at all versatile like Amanat or other singers.
As for Amanat, he’s great no doubt about that. He has complete control over Sur and Taal however, whenever I listen to him there’s always something missing in his voice. I don’t think his voice quality is very good to express the emotions well.
Junaid, I feel is the best amongst all the paki singers. He has a unique voice, he sings well, his sings with emotions and he’s got attitude.
Raja Hassan, is THE best singer in the contest in my opinion. Awesome voice that can literally give you goose bumps.
Aneek is also very good and I would rate him as second best in the contest. however, his voice is not very original. often times he sounds like Sonu Nigam and even copies his style.
Abhijeet is great too. Very manly voice but he lacks finis. Whenever i hear him it feels that he’s not singing with his heart and with very shallow involvement.
Harpreet is okay. He tries hard but his voice is very stiff. Unable to produce emotions again.
Now the girls, I think there’s only three left now?
Let’s talk about Mauli first. Like how some ppl have said she’s only good with item songs. And personally I feel that she should’ve been out long ago.
Poonam awesome voice and style. I simply love her. She sings with her soul. Her surs are always right and I don’t think that she should leave the contest anytime soon.
Sumedha is brilliant and the best amongst all girls. She has a very rich voice and she should be in the final 3-4.

I am Indian and let me defend Musarrat.
Musarrat has a very versatile voice… it is not easy to sing sufi type songs. Oflate, Musarrat is losing confidence. You can see that when he is performing his eyes moves about as if seeking assurance. I feel Himesh has done a great job in instilling doubt in Musarrat’s mind that he CANNOT sing anything else other than sufi style. I dont like the way Himesh pushes Musarrat back to “your Genre”. If Musarrat is let free to sing any song in his way, he will do great. I would still vote for him. He is better than Harpreet or Joy or Abhijit.

Also, Sumedha is great.. but give her a classical song and see how she fares. I rate Poonam above Sumedha. Sumedha’s song selections have been great unlike Poonam. So she stands out.
Mauli is good but yes, she will be out. Just a matter of time. She is better than Joy surely.

I 100% agree with the comments below on how unfair it is that the contestants requests the voters of their respective ares/community. I like the show its a great entertainer but i think this is one of the biggest mistakes that the creator of this show did that he allowed the contestants to disclose their identiites. I, personally, believe that the contestant should only be allowed to say their name and not their origin or the cast/community they belong to becuz this will lead to voters to vote for their region candidate and not for the best sa re ga ma pa candidiate.
Anyways, I think, the only way we can atleast do something to ratify this issue is to request the judges that they be allowed as well to show their voting apart from public voting as what they will choose, free of color/origin/region, will definately be the real sa re ga ma pa champ.

Smedha is Da Bomb, but I don’t think she’ll go far because the voters are biased towards males
I would like to point out something very important that people are not noticing. It is obvious that racism exist in this show. Aneek is a good singer but he can’t sing all kind of sings like Amanat and people don’t realize that. Aneek only can sing one kinda of song but if he tries to sing the same song that Musarrat sang I don’t think Aneek can come even close. Mauli sucks as a singer but all the judges started to hype her and tell her that she needs to sing only one kind of song. However, when Hamesh told that to Mussarat Vishal objected. Why such bias? People need to vote based of performance.
I think the fact that Mussarat, Abhijeet and Nirupama were in the yellow light and Mauli wasn’t…says it all. One thing which the show needs to allow is for people to also vote against competitors. I would like to be the first one to send the maximum sms’s to vote out Mauli…
Amanat, Raja and Aneek in that order amongst male’s. Amongs’t the ladies – poonam, sumedha, nirupama in that order for me…
I have stopped watching this show. I think gajendra has accomplished a bigger triump in Star VOI. http://www.starvoi.com The competition over there is about singing and the quality seems to be much higher than 90% of the SRGMP contestants. This show is gradually degrading into a soap opera…see you at Star VOI.
Mussarat blew me away today. My lord I don’t think any contestant on the show can come close to today’s performance of his. Honestly, can any one pull what he did today? I don’t think so! If anyone else on that show can pull this off is Amanat. People we need Mussarat on this show.
I cant believe mussarat was in the bottom 3 in this episode also i g=have a complaint with zee the complaint is that why are they cutting off some parts from sa re ga ma pa? its like missing the half of the episode!

I was also blown away by mussarat’s today’s performance. He is simply amazing when he sings these kinds of songs. Something I have not seen in any other contestant. I don’t think he will be the top choice (for reasons other than singing), but I think he will simply shine in these kinds of songs for a while. I am his big fan. For me, none comes close to him.
Hi I think Maulie Dave should of been long gone. She abused that beautiful song sung by asha boshle gee. She is not talented at all and she is ugly to top that. i think she is jeaulous of Sumedha cause she sings like a real star. She is prettier than her. She should of been kicked to the curb last week.

what’s up with the track playing too fast for Mussarat in yesterday’s performance? Now these band people wanna mess him up. Well, I know the reasons why they would do that. I am a Hindu and I am ashamed that shit like this is going on. No point of this challenge.
Today’s performances was mindblowing.. everyone was better than their previous self. From now on, it will get more difficult to vote out anyone.
Musarrat was awesome. I always liked him from the beginning. Very very happy to see him back in form. Fantastic voice.
Raja is awesome too. I have been having doubts about him, but I must say his is the most consistant singer inthe competition along with Amanat.
Poonam is always mindblowing. She is #1 on my list in girls.
Junaid was good. But he has to rise up otherwise we may lose him. Junaid is #1 on my list as an allrounder, but after today I may replace him with Raja.
Sumedha is good. But she is too nasal and sings same type of songs. Wonder why nobody says that of her.
I liked Abhijit and Joy a lot today.

Ofcourse Sumedha is nasal. I am happy someone said that. Also she sings very easy songs all the time. Poonam always sings tough songs and does it well.
I am a weirdo.. I think Lataji is a perfect singer as far as sur tall etc is concerned. But no “bhav” or feelings in her voice. Ashaji has all of that. I rate Ashaji above Lataji.
Same way Sumedha is good, but no feelings… wonder why the “maha gurus” say Sumedha has “ada”, and she is the perfect singer etc.

Strange enough for me.. I guess the public is voting perfectly.. For all those people who thought Mussarat didnt deserve to be in bottom 3.. his performance last week wasnt good at all.. nirumpama did deserve to move out.. for me the best singers would be.. Aneek, Amanat and Poonam.. These 3 should make it to top 3… for all those people crying out racism.. I just feel sad that they are missing the point.. you have perform consistenyly to stay!!!

I think it is naive to say there is no racism but I believe that voting is not just a result of that. People are biased, let’s face that! If it’s not the patriotism, it’s regional preference an kinmanship, if not that it’s for the looks and entertainment rather than talent or it’s simply for guys rather than girls.. so you see voting unfortunately it’s not only happening as a result of peoples that day performance – I wish it would.
If voting was just based on the performance we would have a different group by now [i.e. more girls, did you forget Reecha?] and I don’t think that Mussarat deserved to be in the bottom three. I think Nirupama deserved to be out, but I am afraid Poonam might follow, not because she deserves to get the lowest votes but because she is not sexy and maybe doesn’t have as big a fan base..
I agree on Amanat, Aneek and Poonam and would add Raja to be the leading singers, and yes Mussarat isn’t consistent but apart from Amanat and Aneek no one really is.
I am just hoping for a more honest voting on what people truly think was the best performance, not whom they want to be the winner for other reasons… and of course more great performances!! Thanks: )
There is no over seas or world competition. Every one knows that no country can beat india’s population when they vote. So there is no way that anyone else can win beside some one form India or Indian back ground. This is the truth. This is good that others are given a chance. But india is ahead in music and every one knows that too.

Today amanat aneek and musharrat sang good.
The judges have been very lenient. They have been giving marks lavishly. For god sake, judge the singers properly. A perfect 10 should be the rarest of rare score. Bappida, in the very first elimination round, had been judging correctly and giving marks appropriately based on the singing. But the other judges particularly Ismail Darbar and Himesh Reshamiya were lavishing marks to the participants and even prompting other judges to give high marks thereby bringing down the standard of judging. For God Sake, please judge them based on their singing.
