Raja Hasan from Bikaner - A Genuine Singer on Saregamapa
Raja Hasan…do we really need introduction for this man? The song ‘alha ke bande’ is still lingering in our mind. Raja Hasan Sagar is from Bikaner, Rajasthan but his journey from Bikaner to saregamapa was not easy.
Initially he was not selected in any Gharana and was part of Eklavya Gharana. Then Vishal – Shekhar selected him into Hit It Gharana and he got golden chance to perform. He sang ‘Alha Ke Bande’ (from movie Waisa Bhi hota hai) on Vishal Shekhar’s special episode and his mind-blowing performance made everyone speechless. He got prised from every Mentor and MahaGuru but unfortunately on that day he couldn’t make it to final and he got trapped in Chakravyuh.
In Chakravyuh round, there was tough competition between Amanat and him. Raja sang Tere Bina (from movie Guru) and Piya re (from Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan album).

He forgets few lines in the middle and he got eliminated from Saregamapa Challenge 2007. But Raja just smiled and took it sportingly. While leaving the show, Raja dedicated a song for Aditya as he was the one who liked the song which Raja sang and got into Hit IT gharana.. The song was zindagi ek pyaas from Judaai. After his performance, Ismail Darbar came on to the stage and hugged Raja. Every mentor requested public to bring back Raja.
Still there was little hope for Raja that he might have been selected in Bramhastra Round. And Vishal Shekhar didn’t disappoint Raja and selected him for Bramhastra Round. In Bramhastra round, he sang Naino ki mat suniyo re (from movie Omkara). It was such a beautiful performance that public asked him to sing once more and He sang again on request of everyone…
Now it’s in our hand to save such fantastic and God-gifted singer. For that we need to vote for him.

Hi, I fell in love with Saregamapa just after watching Raja Hassan…and went crazy and digged internet and got all of his performances..he is fabulous, wonderful, great performer and really great quality of voice with gifted singing quality…i guess he should have been NumeroUno by now really surprised how come he is in this position to fight for a place thru brahmasthra…but I am sure he will be in the final round and really hope he wins the competition…but in my guess he is already noticed by everyone and his rise as a singer

Raja is amazing! Today I watched the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa show after months and gotta say that this guy and his voice is mind-blowing.

Raja Hasan is really a fighter. He puts life into words..the only problem may be that he sometimes gets too conscious of his singing and gets a little wayward. i thnk he should just concentrate on his singing without bothering about the reward. He is the ONLY singer in Sare Ga Ma who sings marvellously from his soul. Comparisons are going on between him and Aneek, but i Think that Aneek is someone like Kishore Kumar and Raja like Mohammed Rafi.

his performance in “Naina Tagh Lenge” “Kachche Daaghe” “Mahiya” and infact all of his songs were simply marvellous at its best.Raja- your voice touches every heart because of its pureness.your attitude towards your gurus is really worth to watch. in entire saregama so far, no singer was able to reach masses as you have reached, people all across the globe are your fans.

it is really unfair to eliminate shreshta who sang much brilliantly against mauli in the chakravyu round.though mauli can sing a really very few songs very well.she cannot be treated specially.please dont treat anyone specially n give so much hype..please ask people to vote only for them who deserve to be winners.v cannot lose better singers just b’coz of the hype given to a few.the way she sang the foll songs ‘dil ye baichen ve’, ‘churaliya hai tumne’ and ‘parde me rehne do’ was really really bad.

I am watching sarer gama pa from a long time as i love the program, but recently Raja Hassan being a host/Anchor to this program made me bore with being over smart with too much over confidence on him as he was popular this made a worst part and this program. Just fed up with his styles and action and the odd voce changing with funny tones really boring

am a a reguler watcher of saregama pa, its very interesting for me as i divert much time on this program, since RAJA HASAN is an cate/host for this program i feel he acts so stupid as i start hateing himand the programs feels me so bore why can he be changed in that place and repace with some any other as i am sure Athdya narayn doeswell in this program as his role was excelent for the past few episode.

yes i do agree the comends on raja hassan from nafisa, its really a boreing guy although he is a good singer but his attitude and his stupid behavier makes so boreing these days specially when he is a host for the sare gama pa challege 2008, he makes a lot of fuss and some funny voice like a tapori and made himself a cheep, where i really hatre seeing his dialog and sometimes he also pull the legs of the partispent in a instulting manner asking questions wich is not related to the program too, more over the hairs are like a creepers of a plant, and to tell you he sometimes look like a shemale, i wish if he can stop this stupid things or if he is replaced is a very better way

Going on through some of the complaints on Raja Hassan i do feel some what right as per my opinion too, since he was a good singer and a talented guy I really like his talent and his voice of singing, but when I came across the caste/Host in sare gama Pa of course at beginning he was ok but days passed on and his proudness may be taken him to act funny as he was a bit popular and many fans encouraged his talent he went mad i believe and kept acting funny and stupid I do really agree for this point, its better this nature will surely lead him down that’s what I can say from my side.
