Hello Friends…
Welcome back to your favourite show “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007“. Today is the elimination day and one contestant will get eliminate from top 13. Last week we saw elimination of Rimi Dhar from Jabalpur. According to performances and Mentors points of last week, Mauli Dave from USA was the weakest contestant. So lets see whether Public votes for right things or not….
The show beings with the girl contestants singing Oh Ajnabee song from Train.. They all sit on the sofa chair and sing.. The boys are singing and performing.. They all are standing on the chair and Aditya is in between them.. Group by Group they start singing and then all together they finish the song.. All are wearing black dresses..
Aditya greets everyone and says more than 10 lakh votes has been received and also thanks the audience for their support and love for the show.. He says one contestant will be out today..
Theme - All contestants will sing Club songs..
Today the results will be announced starting from Josh Gharana..
Shakira of India Mauli, Barbie doll Sumedha and Maharashtra ke gaurav enter the stage as Aditya calls them on to stage..
Abhijit - Aditya says He sang songs of Kishoreda and Suresh Wadkar.. He is Maharashtra’s gaurav.. Lets see if he is through.. Then green light flashes..
Bappida says to Abhijit - Jai Maharashtra
Sumedha - Aditya says her performance was liked by all the mentors and lets see what the Barbie doll of Chattisgargh has got today.. Green light flashes for her also
Mauli - Aditya says, you sang songs that was different from your style and there was big debate on whether you must sing such songs or not.. Lets see what the public has for you.. Yellow light flashes for her..
Bappida says to Mauli - Dont worry, if you are in Trishanku.. You sing well next time to which Mauli says to the audience — If I get the chance to sing in next round, I will prove myself..

Nirupama - Aditya says, she is always a person who has had stage fear but last week she tried to over come it.. She also gets green
Aneek - Aditya says, he also got 10 on guru graph and gave very good performance.. Along with it he also proposed Dia, so lets see if public has given the support or like Dia, they have also rejected him.. But he gets Green..
When Aditya asks Himesh as to how he feels, then he says - he is very happy.. Everyone sang well.. Says to contestants - “Aap logon ka mujhpar meharbani hain”

When Himesh is asked how he felt about the performance, he said - he has some complaints on the tracks being played.. Harmony’s track was low and the contestants were singing in baseline.. Its very difficult to sing.. They did well though there were some mistakes.. Aneek’s performance was very good.. Others were satisfactory
Yalgaar Gharana:
Aditya asks Ismail Darbar - how he feels as one contestant is no more than in the contest to which he replies - “Chota parivaar sukhi parivaar” If given the opportunity i will take them further to finals.. But its all in hands of the voters..
Amanat - He tells a short poetry.. Last line said - Mujhe uski saza na do, jiski khata maine naki.. He gets green..
Poonam - Aditya says, in guru graph she got varied points, lets see what public gives her.. She also gets green..
When Aditya asks ID he says - “If they are saved, he is also saved.. If they loose, he also looses”.. What they must do is concentrate on singing..
Performance:
Amanat sings dil lutiya from Jazzy B and Apache Indian album.. An AV is shown from him also where he is dancing with Aditya in the disco.. Wonderful performance of dil lutiya While asking for votes also he says a small sher - Jab tak bekaar thaa, toh koi mol na thaa.. Aapne khareedliya toh mujhe anmol kardiya

Aditya says, last week too two of the contestants in this gharana got yellow light.. Lets see who gets yellow this time..
Raja - Aditya says, he gave a different performance last time and last week he was the highest vote gainer..He gets green and Aditya also announces that this time too he is the highest vote gainer.. Asks VS how they feel.. Shekhar says, Raja is a good singer and also a good human being.. He and Vishal are getting huge number of messages and calls asking about Raja.. On the road also they are being caught for asking about Raja.. Vishal says, Shekhar is more excited - Raja is a very good singer and they are proud of him.. Raja thanks them..
Harpreet gets yellow..
Among Junaid and Apurva one should get yellow.. They are asked how they feel.. Junaid says - After god its all the public.. Apurva says, he needs only blessings..
But Apurva gets Yellow light.. Junaid gets green

Salman Khan, who helped Himesh find a footing in Bollywood, was a Godfather for Himesh Reshammiya but now their friendship has turned sour and this has been proved in recent episode of Saregamapa Challenge 2007. Salman Khan created havoc on the sets of Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Monday night (the show will be telecast on Saturday, 21st June). [Spoiler Post]
Salman v/s Himesh
Salman entered to applause and hugged the other judges of the show - Bappi Lahiri, Shekhar, Ismail Durbar - but with Himesh he only shook hands.
When Himesh began to comment on his Rock gharana contestants, Sallu kept interrupting him and passed sarcastic comments. Himesh took it like a man and responded by praising Salman and acknowledging the star’s hand in his success. Salman did not back down and continued to be rude. Himesh then actually pleaded with the star: “Ab to mere baare mein kuchch achcha bolo!”
Salman obliged and muttered a few words of praise. After this, Himesh was wary and spoke only in monosyllables. This did not stop Salman, who observed that Himesh made songs for children while Ismail Darbar made them for musicians.
Sallu irritates his Partner?
Salman came to the show with his Partner co-star Lara Dutta, at 8 pm, and stayed till the end of the shoot at midnight. It was his girlfriend Katrina Kaif’s birthday but she was abroad shooting. However Salman didn’t even spare his date. When she spoke in praise of the talent show, Sallu interrupted, and to her horror, said: “Jhooth bol rahi hai! Isne aaj tak programme ka koi episode nahin dekha. Mujhse make-up room mein details pooch rahi thi.”
When contestant Abhijeet Kosambi sang Salman’s hit number, Aaja Soniye from Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, and Lara expressed her displeasure about the song selection, Salman said: “Lara ko yeh gaana is-liye pasand nahi hai kyoon ki yeh Priyanka Chopra ka gaana hai.
Himesh’s wards get their share
The first singer to come on stage, Joy, was from the Rock Gharana, who fitting sang a Himesh-compsed song from a Salman film! Himesh asked him to sing Dil keh raha hai from Kyonki. Salman gave him a deep look and then said: “Cap pehen ke kyun ga raha hai?” A defiant Joy did not take it off.
When he finished, the judges thought he was off-key. To this Salman said that he did not sing through his nose so that was fine.
After this came Nirupama, to sing, Aaj main upar from Khamoshi. Noticing her nervousness, Salman came on stage and gave her a hug which left her stunned for a few seconds. She went on to sing well. Salman gave her 7.5 and the comment: “I am giving you saade saat (7 and a half) stars because my saade saati is on and I want to pass it on to you.”
When Lahore’s Mussarat finished his rendition of Tera Naam’s kyun kisi ko wafa ke badle, Salman said that he was a better singer than Himesh and that he needed no mentor. Mussarat was given nine points.
Aneek Dhar came next and rehearsed his song, O-O jaane-jaana dhunde tujhe diwana. Salman asked him if he was really going to sing that song from Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya? When Aneek replied in the affirmative, Salman rushed to the stage, took off Aneek’s cap, threw it towards the judges table, and then took off his jacket and shirt. The short and pudgy contestant was embarrassed as he launched into the song, but put up a good show. A pleased Salman said: “I give you 2 and half points for your body and 5 and half for your singing.”
‘Jab meri acting ki dukaan band hogi’
Faisalabad’s Amaanat before starting his song, requested Salman to become his health guru. Salman replied: “Jab meri acting ki dukaan band ho jaayegi uske baad mein yahi kaam karne wala hoon.”
Next singer Poonam Yadav was nervous and having problems adjusting to the track Tadap Tada from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. After a bit, she started crying. Salman asked her to sing another song but Ismail forced her to perform Tadap Tadap. Poonam told Salman: “Ismailji said,’sing this song so that Salman has tears in his eyes.’”
Salman said:”Don’t worry: I can manage to bring in tears in my eyes. I am good at doing that much acting at least.” She went on to deliver a great performance and happy Sallu gave her nine points. Ismail added his bit here that whenever the song would be played on the sets of HDDCS, Salman would get agitated and say: “Iski maaki ye gaana pahle band karo!”
Ismail said it was because Salman could not bear the pain that the song carried and could identify its words with his own life.
Bappi Lahiri’s Josh Gharana
Bappi’s contestant Abhijeet Kosambi sang Aaja soniye from Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. None of the judges liked his singing, save for Salman. Then Mauli sang Koi taal se gaya (No Entry). Salman hugged her on stage and gave her nine points.
Salman also suggested Bappi Lahiri to join films as an actor taking a cue from Adnan Sami. He said, “Adnan Sami ne apne andar se ek Bappi Lahiri nikaal diya aur patla hogaya abhi aap bhi kuch karo bappi da”. Bappi could barely smile at this one.
Vishal and Shekhar’s Hit It Gharana
After ascending the stage for a couple of times to hug contestants, Salman decided to liven things up and when Harpreet sang Jeene ke hai char din (Mujhse shaadi karogi), Sallu rushed up and began to dance. It was one of his favourite songs he said, and gave Harpreet 10 points. Then he took away a point, saying that “you should have been in just your towel to sing this one.”
Bikaner’s Raja Hassan sang the high-register “Sune le sathiya” (Old Dus). Salman was so impressed by him that he started with: “Are you mad? Nobody sings so perfectly: You are already a singer, you do not have to be here.”
Hearing this Vishal and Shekhar gave him a standing ovation. Salman observed that Raja must not be phoning his parents in Bikaner but merely going to his verandah and shouting out to them.
“I have a deep connection with Bikaner,” Salman added, referring to his short jail stint in that city.
Finally it was Karachi ’s Junaid Shaikh’s turn to perform the last song of the evening. He sang Aisa pehli baar hua hai from Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega. Including Salman every single person on the sets joined Junaid on stage to dance to it.
All of Vishal and Shekhar’s contestants got ten marks from all the judges and they proved the best performers of the evening.

Yesterday we saw the first elimination in Agnipariksha and Rimi Dhar of Yalgaar gharana was out. Today all contestants will try their best to perform well to grab the votes from the audience..
Vishal Shekhar’s Cash Song:-
After Aditya’s greetings and introduction of the mentors, the episode begins with the Vishal and Shekhar singing the title song of Cash.. They were in full energy as usual, using the whole stage and even the participants danced with them and had full fun.. After the performance, Aditya asks them about what is different in this music?
Vishal Shekhar request the audience to watch the movie and also buy the CD and listen to the song.. Shekhar says there is lot of madness in the music and this is more because the director Anubhav Sinha has given them total freedom..Vishal says, If you put the CD you will not stop from tapping your legs..
Guests for Today
Aditya says there is also a surprise and the cast of Cash are here - Shamita Shetty and Dia Mirza..
He asks them what is special about Cash? Shamita answers that it is an action thriller and is total fun and entertainment.. Asks Dia, what is her role in the movie - She says, she plays the role of the thief, but she is not a petty thief.. Then aditya asks her is there anyone who saves the cash? Shamita says, she is the one to do so.. Dia adds saying there is no hindi action thriller movie which is like Cash… A small promo of the movie is shown in the AV..

An AV is then shown and Aditya says in SRGM 1999, Amanat’s uncle (Sharfat Ali) was the runners up and his father (Nazakat Ali) was the winner.. Hope he continues the tradition..
ID - I will give you 100 for this performance.. To counter Vishal’s point, he says Amanat sang - Jaane kahaan gaye woh din, tera jadoo chal gaya, mere naina sawan badho songs which all are of different genre.. Next episode he will sing VS song which is rock type and show them that he is versatile.. VS wish him luck and say they will teach him..
Rock Gharana:
Joy - says his brother has come from Assam and with all love from that state.. he sings bheegi bheegi raaton main from Adnam Sami album. In the AV he is shown practicing with an umbrella in the rain

Dia - Talks to him in Bengali.. She asks if he knows bengali as he is from Assam.. he says he is a Bengali.. She says, he sang well..

Himesh - he stands after his performance and says very good.. Along with him even VS give him a standing ovation.. He then comes on the stage to praise him.. He says, he was very good and its not that easy that VS are giving a standing ovation for him.. Listening to this all mentors give a standing ovation again..
Dia - You were introduced as chota sa mota sa.. But you are neither small nor fat.. you look so beautiful.. Himesh is over excited and pats his back..
ID says this guy is very romantic at this age..
Dia - This is truly evident from his singing.. Whom did you see and sing??
ID - He was seeing you and singing..
Aneek - I really like Dia but when this costume was given to me, I told Mauli that I will say - “Dia didi, mujhe ek lollypop dedo”..
ID comes on stage.. HR and ID asks Why change the relationship.. Tell what ever you want to say..
HR - even if the lady rejects, no problem.. You will get many sad songs to sing.. That will make you a star..
Aneek then proposes Dia saying - “I Love you”
everyone are so excited.. Vishal sings a song for this situation - “nasha yeh pyaar ka nasha hain” Himesh is also excited says lets see what is the reply for this..
Dia says - “I love you too”
The whole set is totally enjoying this situation.. Then Dia interrupts and says - “I said only for your singing”
Himesh - “Dont worry that your proposal is rejected.. You will get many heart breaking songs to sing.. Tell to media that dia has confirmed that she is not in love with Aneek.. She has broken his heart.. Dont make this as a headline.. But she has made you a star
Aneek then sings - “tadap tadap ke is dil se aah nikalti rahi”
The whole situation was too funny All the mentors give him 10
Josh Gharana:
Sumedha - sings Ab ke sajan sawan mein from chupke chupke. ID is constantly telling Himesh something and they both are having fun..

Today is the first elimination in Agnipariksha Round. Last week, everyone gave the best performance but their fate will be now decided by public.
The episode begins with an AV.. They show the makeup room where all the contestants are getting the final touch of makeup and the room in itself is very tensed as every one are excited to know the results.. They are then shown practicing with their new Nokia phone..
Today’s Theme - Celebration for Taj being the first wonder of the world:
Aditya begins the show by singing Mast bahaaron ka main aashique.. He then says - Saara jahaan pyaar ke liye hai and this has been proved the audience votes.. they have made Taj as the first wonder of the world. Aaj Taj aur pyaar ki jeet huyi hai.. The AV of contestants performance during Ek shyaam Taj ke naam episode is shown.. And to celebrate this the contestants are dedicating this episode to Taj and will be singing the old romantic songs..
Aditya introduces the mentors - Disco king Bappida, the youngest mentors Vishal and Shekhar, Happening Himesh and Inevitable Ismail Darbar.. He also says nearly 9,50,000 votes have been received for this week.
Format for announcing results:
There will be 3 lights, Green which means Congrats and through to next round.. Yellow means Word Hard - That is they are in bottom 3 and have to work hard to get the audience votes.. Red meaning Hard Luck and are eliminated.. Each contestant will be called and given the light.. If they get yellow, then they are in bottom 3 and will have to wait to know if they are eliminated or not..
First Gharana - Yalgaar:
Before announcing the results, the previous week’s performance of all the contestants are shown..
Aditya calls all the contestants of this gharana.. Amanat is the first to know the result.. Aditya says, last week his performance was liked by Shekhar so, lets see if he has got through.. He gets green
Poonam is the next. Aditya says she got very good comments from all the mentors.. she also gets green..
But the unlucky one is Rimi who gets yellow light.. Aditya says she did not perform upto her potential last week. But ID had requested everyone to vote her but unfortunately she got yellow light..

This is related to again Himesh Reshammiya, the composer whom most love to hate. There were many points in the show which is actually putting a question mark � Was the mentor actually present there on the sets during the 7th July show?
Yes, Himesh was present in the beginning, for the Josh gharana comments. But it seems he had other commitments, so he gave his responsibility to Adi n left (but not before playing on the Mauli-Adi issue). After that, whenever Adi finished with his comments on contestants, Himesh would suddenly pop up with repetitive praises that clearly looked pre-recorded. And then they would show clips of Adi looking embarassed. It was clearly a cut-and-paste job.
Now let us just go through few very minor details that happened in the show. Himesh was never shown commenting on the awesome performances rest alone others. He did not even make a single comment on the performance of his favorite Aneek Dhar, who wowed everyone with his performance. Neither was he shown ever to interact with the mentors, except during the Josh Gharana performance rounds. Otherwise all shots of Himesh were solo shots.
Now we come to the most interesting part which actually raises our eyebrows. If you watch the performances by Harpreet, Aneek, Nirupama, Raja and Joy and watch the aerial shots, it’s clearly evident that Himesh is not there on his seat. There are just four mentors sitting there instead of usual five. Also after Yalgaar Gharana contestant Poonam�s performance, Ismail Durbar shakes hands with Shekhar for agreeing to sign the contestant in their band. The hand-shake took place with both of them in their seats - Himesh was not present in between them, as he usually is.
In one of the shots Shekhar is also seen sitting on the Rock Gharana mentors chair!! Himesh seems to have taken this opportunity to prove himself as an actor after the huge success of his film Aap ka Suroor by giving in some best solo shots which gave us a wrong notion that he was actually present in the shot.

Hello friends. This is the first week of Agnipariksha Round. Now we have got 14 contestants in the final that have come here after passing so many hurdles. It’s not easy for them to come at this stage. Now onwards, it’s in your hand to save your favourite contestant as only ‘Public Voting’ is considered henceforth.
This week (Friday 6th July and Saturday 7th July) all 14 participants have performed twice. Now we are going to start new thread on saregamapashow.com - ‘Your Opinion on Agnipariksha Round’.
After watching and listening to all the performances, you have to pick two best contestants and two weak contestants (and give your opinion on that).
According to me…
Two best contestants are
1. Raja Hasan – he has his original voice and his last song ‘Chakde Phatte from Khosla ka ghosla’ was mind-blowing. He puts his jaan in the song…
2. Poonam Yadav – ‘Tose naina lage from Anwar’ was fantastic. Its very difficult song (sing by two singers) but she really performed well….my vote goes to her.
Two Weak contestants are –
1. Rimi Dhar – She has potential and good song but she was not in sur and tal. Her voice was shaking all the time..
2. Mussarat - He really needs to improve a lot. Now his high notes are also cracking …must cos of overuse. ‘Garaj Baras from Paap’ was totally flat…
This is totally my opinion. What you guys say?

Now, saregamapa challenge 2007 entered into the final round - Agnipariksha Round. From this week, one contestant will get eliminate every week. In the previous episode, the results of Bramhastra round were announced and Raja Hasan and Harpreet Deol got selected by public voting and they are now become part of Vishal Shekhar’s Hit It Gharana…[Here are videos of this episode ]
Group Performance..
The show begins with the 14 finalists and Aditya singing the title song of Saregamapa.. After the performance, Aditya greets everyone and announces that now the competition is getting tougher and its all in public’s hands as to whom they want to bring in.. The participants have to really work hard to get through.. As its all going to be music for the participants, Nokia is providing the finalists with a Nokia 5700 phone where they can store 500 songs and listen to them.. They can sit in their bunglow and perform.. He distributes it to all the contestants..

To Mauli - Performance is good, but wen you go behind the mike, your flaws will be evidently shown..

Bappida - Mussarat’s song was rock style song.. He did well.. Nirupama’s voice quality is good.. Joy also sang well.. He speaks something to Aneek in bengali saying he sang well.. He then starts singing also - Pyaar karte karte (Chalte chalte song).. You all 4 are good.. This song is for all the participants..
Shekhar - Just now was asking Bappida to sing some song and he did it.. Thanks him and tells he has created a good mood here..
ID also says to Bappida, he sang so well now that he is feeling very good.. To Mussarat he says - “He always reminds in the upper notes, now he has come down, but needs to come down still”.. Nirupama’s voice quality was good - But she went off sur.. Joy also sang Alvida, he then sarcastically comments on the composition of that song saying - dunno what song it was.. He sang well even that song, so all credit goes to Joy.. Aneek is a powerful performer.. He sang very well..
VS say Nirupama’s voice will suite for recording.. Mussarat has always been good.. Aneek’s performance was so good that it left behind the other’s performances..
Aditya - Nirupama’s performance was good.. Mussarat was unprepared for the song, but still sang well.. Aneek has lot of potential to win this contest.. Joy also sang well..
After this, Himesh praises Aditya and thanks him for not letting him down by taking his position as the judge nor did he let down the audience.. Aditya is star of Saregamapa.
