I know this is ridiculous but till reading these comments I have never realized how crazy a fan can get over a person. It makes me wonder, why are/were we interested in this guy anyway? I mean he is just an ordinary human being with a completely ordinary outlook on life. Don’t get me wrong, I think he is probably a great individual but everyone seems to being jumping in to preconceived notions of how they would want him to be. Are people just interested in stars in general because they recognize that they will never fully know them and so in effect can remain ignorant to their flaws as human beings. And, by being ignorant, perhaps the individual can create personality traits that they themselves find amiable in a person- their “fairy tale” “happily-ever-after” prince. I mean, what makes him so glamorous in the eyes of thousands of pubescent girls? I can’t imagine it to be solely on good looks since he is not the only good looking guy out there. Infact I’m sure there are many good looking guys in our neighborhoods that we have a greater chance of being with than Aditya. In this case, why do fans emulated him or any other star so much? What is it that they have that others don’t? Are we all that superficial that we are attracted to his success and prestige? Is it the unhappy truth that we are just fulfilling a want to be loved by a powerful man regardless of who he is and Aditya just seemed to be on the tv at the right time? Or could we simply blame it on raging hormones- all the surges of FSH, and LH etc? I mean do people react this crazily to a star when they get older? Anyway, sorry for the rant everybody, but I felt like I needed to get that off my chest so I can go on living my life and forget fanaticizing about something that will probably never be for good.
