Amant Ali’s Yeh hausla worthy of Ismail Darbar’s Special Gift

In the last episode of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007’, Pakistani contestant Amanat Ali, rendered the number ‘Yeh hausla’ (‘Dor’) with such passion and precision that he left all the mentors spellbound.

But the biggest compliment came from Amanat’s mentor Ismail Darbar, who announced that Amanat was a contestant, worthy of receiving ‘the special gift’ from him. It may be recalled that a few weeks ago, Darbar had revealed his intention of giving away his most valuable acquisition of 25 years to the best contestant in the show. But he hadn’t revealed what the gift is. Although it is speculated that the special gift could be the one and only award that Darbar has won for composing the music in the film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ or it may be the violin.

            When listening to him I had such goosebumps and was thinking that is was the best performance of all so far. I love how Amanat is improving with every song, it’s great to witness a talented person’s progress! All the very best to him, looking forward to more songs like this gem.. Amanat has a beautiful voice but this piece was especially suitable to his voice.. good job!

                  i didnt find any of the female singers outstanding, mauli is overrated, but amaanat ali ROCKS!! his version of yeh honsla was 10000 times better than what prashant tamang sang on indian idol. amaanat and raja hasan deserve to be in the final. both are AWESOME singers. their voices are pure magic. my choices for top 3 are amaanat, raja and junaid.

Mauli is such over-rated singer ever since sa re ga ma started. they r just keepin her in coz of her popularity not coz of her singing.I think sa re ga ma has lost its basis. it has become more like advertisement show than singing show. any1 who wants to promote something comes on da show n it has nothing to do with singing. kal kisi ne koi”chaddi” bechani ho to aajaye sa re ga pe.

                                yar your performace was really outstanding, I really like the way you sung aey watan pyare watan. For instance, I thougt that the real amanat ali was singing the song, yar allah is with you all pakis love is with you, and inshallah I hope that you will succeed in you life. Yar don’t get afraid that you will loose the contest bcuz you sung a paki patriotic song. It really doesn’t matter wat you have sung, and ofcourse you will sing a paki song bcuz you are a paki, don’t care abt others bcuz people in this world are to create problems between indians and pakistani’s. You just don’t worry, try you best to achieve your goal, allah is with you and when allah is with you nobody can stop you from achieving your goal, which is to win this contest inshallah,light the name of pakistan, and give a new plateform to indo-pak friend ship.
